The property and room would have been excellent except for the bed bug my daughter found the morning we were checking out. Staff was sympathetic but could only offer an email address for me to send my pictures to. I had to thoroughly inspect our belongings, bag everything, and wash everything as soon as we could. My stay was to be in Sacramento near my husband who had been medi-flighted from Modesto, so it was a stressful situation to begin with. This didn’t help. I emailed the company and haven’t received a response.

I expect a 2 bedroom and receive 1 large bed. Worked out ok but…..

Everything was up-to-date, had a brand new feel, super clean. Well lit bathroom, super quiet rooms (even though close to highway), option to open window for fresh air, friendly & helpful staff, secure parking (worth the $10)

Near the event we were attending They held about three times the cost of our entire stay for the duration of the stay, beds were very hard and breakfast was not worth the trip down to the lobby.

With my husband needing wheelchair accessibility, The staff was very understanding and accommodating. There wasn’t enough lighting in the parking lot at night for my hyper alert sensitivity.

The bf menu was nice and hot, and the room was very clean.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It did not have a coffee maker in the room. Very impressed with the breakfast. There were many choices and was satisfying and tasty.

Nothing other was terrible Tv didn't work phone didn't work wrong room for my reservation waited tell 11 pm to change my room then called about 2 am to make sure they changed my room as if they didn't know

What Holiday Inn Express Corporate needs to fix is the “breakfast”. It is inedible. There is a pancake machine that turns out little gluey disks. The pastries are all the cheapest and flattest possible. The hot items were all awful too. It ends up being just a waste of “food” with no taste and terrible textures. It honestly put me off the chain. Such a disappointment.

Breakfast was decent and the property was clean and well kept. The safety of the area at night was a little questionable, but there was a lot of lighting and a security patrol.

I was there for Breakfast around 8:15am, the foods were not so as fresh as last time I stayed and it seems like everything is out. No orange and no apple juice.

The room was good, and had no concerns there. The only issue was that the fire alarm kept going off. It lasted about 20–25 minutes and occurred around 2 a.m.

The Breakfast served it's purpose. The hot food was hot. The apples were crispy and the bananas looked good! It was a bummer to have to pay to park. If I had a complaint, that would be the only one, especially since I am an IHG member.

Ridiculous you have to pay $10 to park overnight when you already are paying for a room. Husband is handicapped or I would have parked off-site. Check in was not smooth sailing. Nighttime was extremely noisy making sleep non existent .Room was very clean.

The bathroom fan wasn’t working so it definitely steamed up the room quite a bit. The service was excellent. The breakfast was ok, their pancake maker was down so the kids were sad.

We were awakened several times in the night until the fire department was finally able to get it off. There were apparently only two staff members there at the time and they did not inspection the building to ensure we were all safe. It was a little scary that they seemed to have no emergency plan other than wait for the fire department, who also did not inspect.

Tourism fee at a Holiday Inn Express makes no sense as it’s one step above a bottom line hotel. Whatever fee you think you are getting charged make sure you account for an extra $500……10 out of 10 would never recommend this hotel for the price you get charged

This is a really nice place to stay with very nice staff. Everything was very clean and modern. The bed was great as well as different size pillows! It was the best price in the area and we were really surprised on how nice it was. They offered everything for breakfast with a pancake maker that drops the batter and rolls along a baking line and drops out the end, that was super cool! Stay here, you will not be disappointed and we will stay here every time we come to Sacramento. Thank You

This is a nice clean property with a good variety of free breakfast. There are no quiet times so the room beside me was very noisy after 11 pm and again in the morning after 6 am. The staff did call the room but couldn’t stop the noise.

This place is fantastic. The pool area is clean and stocked with towels. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. The convenience to everything made it a great place to stay.

The room was large with a great AC (we are here in 108 degree weather). The beds and pillow are so comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave. The pool is just fantastic! It happens to be on the right side of the building, making it shady enough to really enjoy in this weather- perfect temp and very clean. The gym was adequate for a couple of day stay. We would stay again.

This hotel just got renovated so everything is perfect and good.. And the staff also very helpful.

Bathroom didn't have hand soap. Room was on ground floor and design for wheelchair handicap people. Specifically, the shower space is designed in such a way that is easily for water to spill outside the shower. Maybe a shower curtain that touches the floor might help. Also, noise in the middle of the night, there were a lot of doors slamming close. Room rates seem expensive...not good value. Everything else was ok.

Overall deserved 4 stars, but...spilled coffee in my room on last day. Has to mop it up as it was in the entry way. Notified a staff member as I was leaving. Got dinged $50 for towels they couldn't clean. Called them and they basically said yep. I should have taken them with me...at least I could have used them!

I was put off by the desk manager who charged $10 to park our vehicle. What a scam! After signing up for the hotel, I had a bounce back notice saying their fitness room was not available so I already felt the room rate was not worth what was charged and then he wanted $10 more just to park. Not a good location and difficult to get to.

There was no water pressure in the shower, the tv signal went out during our stay, and there were homeless people using drugs while walking to our car in the parking lot. Despite the room being vacant, we were also charged a 1/2 day for checking in early.

Honestly this the worst hotel ever stayed at as bad as a motel 6 not only did we get book the wrong room but ended up finding dry blood all over the pillows of one our bed and the staff did not care what so ever refund us our refund the most they can do was give us free parking lmao what a joke of a hotel last time ill stay at a holiday inn
