    It was a clean but rather average hotel. Not what I would expect from a Hilton. No bathrobes, only one rather hard chair, no entry light so you had to enter the room in the dark. Only three drawers and one towel rack.

    Ice Machine broken. Jacuzzi broken for months not reported until confirmation. Mattress need replacement. Fire alarm went off at 11pm and 6am. On 4th floor walking downstairs. Front desk stated Guest pulled alarm. Not able to rest properly. Area surrounded by displace people. This experience was utterly awful! Didn't live up to Hilton Brand Standard's.

    By the time we got back, it was close to 11 p.m., and after a long day we were too exhausted to contact maintenance or request a room change. We hoped the temperature would improve overnight, but it did not. The next morning we had another early start and checked out through the app, so we never had the opportunity to bring the issue to the staff's attention. To be fair, I believe the hotel would have made an effort to resolve the problem had we reported it. However, our room never became comfortable during our stay, which impacted our overall experience.

    The pool area is old and not well maintained. The hot tub was out of service. There were no towels. The lawn cheers were very few and many parents stood the entire time their kids swam. The room had an ac connected through a cut hole in the window.ghetto

    Dirty room, rust stains in shower, shower didn’t drain, sink needed cleaning with pumice stone because it was great and not white, grimy carpet. Bed was comfortable and staff was ok at check in. Spa out of service. No security with parking. Honestly the second worst hotel I have stayed in and price did not reflect the lack of quality. If I wasn’t so exhausted I might have tried to find another hotel.

    When we first walked into the hotel there was a strange smell in the lobby, kind of like body odor. Our room was on the 6th floor with a king bed for my husband and me and a sofa bed for my 17-year-old son. The room smelled musty, like it had been closed up for a long time. We opened the sofa bed and the mattress was extremely thin—I could feel the springs. In the closet there was only one sheet and a very rough blanket with holes. The mattress only had a protective cover. While I was on hold with the front desk asking to switch rooms, I noticed black mold on the ceiling in the corner of the room and also in the bathroom, which probably explained the smell. At first they said they were fully booked, but after I mentioned the mold they suddenly had other rooms available. We moved to a room on the 3rd floor that smelled much cleaner. The building seems older and although it may have been remodeled, it still has outdated features like popcorn ceilings and bathrooms without exhaust fans. It didn’t feel worth the price. For a little more money you can find newer hotels in downtown Sacramento. I booked this place partly because it advertised a pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was completely empty. Because of the mold situation, I didn’t even feel comfortable trying the breakfast.

    Room I was originally given was in bad condition, had a temporary a/c in room with balcony door open with 40 degree cloudy weather, second room heater was load and not working properly had thermos at 79 and room was still cold. Hallways and lobby were also cold and seemed unheated . There was mold in the shower ceiling. For the price and brand the facilities were a little lack luster . The hot tub was out of service it seems for an extended amount of time . Probably will not rebook this hotel or maybe even Hilton it self it was pricey and not worth it .

    Stayed at Hilton Sacramento Arden West for a wedding. The experience was awesome! The staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The room was spotless and well maintained. They even had a microwave and refrigerator. Really enjoyed my stay there. If I am ever is Sacramento again will definitely be staying at Hilton Arden West.

    I think the hotel is good. It's nicer than I expected given the reviews I had read. It was very convenient for the event I was participating in. I would book again. It was clean and comfortable. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people checking in at the same time but they handled it well.

    Awful stay. Very expensive. Room super basic could hear the freeway all night. Adjoining room door could hear everything the neighbor was doing. They played loud music all night. I knocked on the door to tell them to keep it down and they freaked out yelling obscenities. Was there to run CIM marathon. Got no sleep. Place sucks

    Beautiful hotel with an elegant bar and restaurant. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, assisting me with my luggage and promptly providing a luggage carrier when requested. Even though they were short of staff in the morning due to the bellman being away on an airport pickup, the service remained attentive and efficient. Overall, a wonderful stay.

    TO BEGIN WITH, I CALLED THE HOTEL COUPLE DAYS PRIOR TO SEE IF THEY ALLOWED EARLY CHECK-IN AND THEY WERE VERY HAPPY TO DO THAT!! THE DAY OF CHECK-IN I CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES REQUESTING EARLY CHECK-IN BUT THEY KEPT TELLING ME TO CALL BACK AND EVERYTIME THE ANSWER WAS NO! WE CHECK-IN AT 330ISH AND MIND YOU ITS HOT IN SAC!! THEY GAVE US A ROOM WHERE THE AC DIDNT WORK!! THEY SENT SOMEONE TO COME LOOK AT IT AND HE SAID IT SHOULD WORK NOW, BUT IT DIDNT. WE DIDNT HAVE MUCH TIME TO GET READY SO WE HAD TO BEAR THE HEAT AND GET DRESSED IN A HOT ROOM!!! WHEN WE WENT DOWN AFTER WE TOLD THE RECEPTIONIST AGAIN THAT ITS RIDICULOUS HOW THE AC IS NOT WORKING AND IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. SO THEY SENT SOMEONE INTO OUR ROOM WHILE WE WERE GONE AND I GUESS HE COULDNT FIX THE AC SO THEY CHANGED OUR ROOM IN THE SYSTEM AND WHEN WE GOT BACK AROUND 1AM WE HAD TO MOVE ALL OUR STUFF FROM THE OLD ROOM INTO THE NEW ROOM . SO THE STAY WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED !!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION!!!!

    Great property with great staff. Lobby is a nice place to hangout and relax. Only thing was our bathtub kept getting flooded when using, as well as the $2 water bottle charge in the room didn’t make sense just give it for free at that point. Overall nice and relaxing

    The hotel was very clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing was it seemed like the air-conditioning was not working properly so they had a separate unit in my room that was an air conditioning unit by itself. The only problem was it was really loud so you could not run it at night when you were sleeping

    I arrived late Friday. Tired from my traveling tried ordering food from the Grill. Phone rung all evening. I woke up early Saturday order breakfast. Arrive in great time, I ate half and laid back down to wake up with Debbie standing at the edge of my bed. Startled me however, I remained calm and question if she saw me lying here? She claims she didn’t btw I’m 5’9 and weight 225. How did you not see me. She is extremely lucky and hopefully will never enter a room where you clearly see and hear someone sleeping.

    The staff is wonderful - smiling, joking, treating you like a mix of honored guest and family member. The customer service is efficient and customer care is taken bery seriously. The property is clean, spacious, and lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

    The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, our truck got broken into the last night of our stay. They cut open our truck bed locked cover and took what was in the back. We were aware of the signs that said it was not the hotels responsibility if there was any vandalism to vehicles, but when we notified the hotel the clerk could care less. We just wanted to know if we needed to fill out a form of any kind to let them know what happened and the clerk was more annoyed that we asked that question. Every night we did see a security guard walking around, so we felt a little safe leaving our truck in the parking lot. However, he obviously was not walking around during our break in. Needless to say we will not be staying here again!!

    The A/C doesn’t work. I asked multiple times to have it fixed. I was told I would be switched to another room and it never happened. I got 3 free drinks , a meal voucher, and 15 per day for park waived for being hot. Oh an a fan brought to my room that just circulated hot air. They said they couldn’t refund any of my $470.00 bc my stay was booked off of a 3rd Party website. That really sucked to suffer in this Sac heat.

    When I first walked in the room the first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled like a cheap hotel. There was a hole in the tub. Burned wood around the refrigerator. it smells like a old building that's been remodeled but was half done with low quality workmanship.     Best thing was the in-room dining and staff were friendly. Room was okay, but baseboards and curtains were visibly dirty, as were the carpet. The bathroom was outdated and awkward, with the toilet right behind the small door, leaving little room to open the door or get in the shower without closing the door.     Clean rooms and excellent staff. I didn’t even ask to be moved but the woman at the counter moved me to a higher floor when I checked in so the bar and restaurant wouldn’t disturb my sleep on Saturday night.

    I stay two times a week in hotel and this has to be one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. They do daily housekeeping. This is a real plus.

    The quality of the hotel did not feel like a Hilton. The bathroom vanity is old, painted wood. The duvet has a sheet laid on top of it that constantly moves away from the duvet. The hot tub was luke warm at best...after we were in it for 30 mins, staff said we need to get out because of poor water quality/they needed to clean it. Most of the stairwells aren't marked...overall, it just did not feel like a Hilton property at all.

    All in all we had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West. I booked the night before our stay and was grateful to find a room at a reasonable price. The only two things I would say is that the main elevators stopped working at one point and we had to redirect to the back of the hotel to the other elevators, and the pool and patio are in need of refreshing. The chairs were tearing, the pool was a bit dirty, the jets in the hot tub didn't work, and the water in the hoot tub was warm at best but not hot. Other than these items, our room was nice, the food was good, and the service was good! We would definitely stay again.

    Sfaff were very helpful, taking care of all of our requests. We chose Uber rather than renting a car and Ubers were ways available. Returning to airport had good morning commute speed. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Zinfandel Grille was our favorite. Hotel dining was a very good option.

    This was all a very bad experience as we needed to get up very early for a half marathon. We had made reservations weeks earlier and should not have been put in a hall in the middle of a very loud and rude convention group. Awhile after the security left they were still in the hall so my girlfriend asked them to please keep it down and they got very rude with her. I was barely able to constrain myself from confronting them after that. It would have made it way worse. I believe they were members of the Lion's Club. Needless to say it will be the last time we stay in your hotel. I will be passing this info to the American River Parkway Half Marathon committee, Sponsors and attendees so know one else will have to deal with anything like this. Barney Haas

    The bar and restaurant are outdated. TVs were better in the rooms than the bar. Bed was way too soft. The water briefly shut off twice while I was showering. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean.

    The property was great. Hot tub was not warm enough. Beds, Pillows, mattress, and linen were exceptional. Temperature of room was perfect and heater did not make any noise. All rooms are non smoking so Expedia info is wrong. Bummer that Hilton rewards members are not recognized if you book through Expedia.

    I had a very nice experience at the hotel. We went for New Year's Eve and had dinner at the hotel at the restaurant and the food was delicious! It also haa a full bar in the restaurant and hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. I loved the shower. I felt safe there. Arden Mall is about 3 minutes by car. It has restaurants, shopping, and everything you would need. I recommend staying here.

    THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!! It all started with rude and boorish service at the front desk. The only polite staff was the bartender and the cleaners. It was terribly dirty and it stunk everywhere!!! There was a condom wrapper next to the bed in the room! (thank goodness it wasn't a condom!) It was very dirty, the furniture and renovation were very old! I'm surprised that hotels like this still exist! I booked a room with a balcony - they gave me one without a balcony and explained that there were NO rooms with a balcony at this hotel. Ok, DELETE THE PHOTOS OF THE ROOMS WITH A BALCONY THEN! The view from my small window was of some kind of dump!! All the shelves were dusty! I was expecting a balcony with a nice view, for that kind of money you could stay in any other nearby department and it would be much better! Breakfasts are not free! There is no transfer to the airport! The pool is small and ugly, very dirty. What upset me the most were the two slackers - the security guards, who were constantly hanging around and throwing curious glances, I saw them next to me at least 10 times every hour! It felt like I was being closely examined and followed. HORRIBLE! Why does this disgusting dirty hotel even need security??? In general, this hotel does not have a SINGLE PLUS! I rarely write reviews, but this one is just awful
