Best place to stay in Sacramento/Davis area. Friendly and attentive staff. Great rooms!

I really liked the breakfast spread but was disappointed on Sunday morning when it was not refilled with fresh bread etc. and I had to request the gentleman at the desk to refill it and he was a bit grouchy.

We ended up sleeping in our car because they double-booked our reservation and then blamed their third-party partner instead of taking responsibility for the mistake. Save your self and the headach and look else where.

If a clean hotel means anything to you then you have to come to Elements. The staff is kind and super quick when you have a request. Your room and bathroom are super clean.

We stayed during my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Great location near restaurants and stores. Easy and convenient for families.

The breakfast was amazing, I especially loved the custom omelette, the chobani yogurt bar with fresh berries, nuts, and pumpkin seeds, as well as the gluten free muffins (best one I've ever had) the infused water, and options for breads with jellies/jams/honey/nut butters. The salt water pool was gorgeous and just the right temperature. The room was clean, aroma neutral, had a separate drinking water spigot, and the lighting was soft and perfect. The room felt crafted for my enjoyment and relaxation. The wind down tea options were amazing, I would have loved a bigger cup and availability every night of the week. Also, the option to borrow a city bike is lovely! The parking fee, I wasn't aware of it when I booked.

The carpets and lounge seat were wet from being cleaned. My boss had to switch rooms due to his being really wet.

My kids and I love it here. It’s super clean which is always the priority. Additionally, it’s comfortable with nice staff, a gym, easy parking and complimentary breakfast. It’s worth it!

We chose this hotel because it had a pool, the pool looked like it had not been clean in quite a while. There was bird poop around the sides, a ton of debris in the pool and a lot of black stuff at the bottom of the pool.

The property was clean, safe, conveniently located and felt like a little home away from home. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly.

Something to know about this hotel. Being so eco-friendly their thermostats don’t really work. It shows one temperature in reality its much much warmer. Also their mattresses are way too soft and there’s no alternatives. Other than that, the staff is nice and friendly and overall hotel is pretty clean.

Excellent space with 3 rooms - living room, bedroom and small kitchen. Very comfy bed. 2TV's. Refrigerator, stove top, microwave, dishwasher along with kitchenware and small coffee service. Lots of places to charge electronics. Wonderful shower with full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner. It felt safe and and was super quiet, even though near the airport. Breakfast was delicious! Rather pricey, but very nice accommodations. $10.00 a day parking fee!

Breakfast was nice! The day we had breakfast, the pancakes were pretty dry/bland. Not much of a variety to choose from. But that’s ok, as there was lots of great food amenities nearby. A lot of walkable stores to go to as well. The room itself was comfy, cozy & quiet. They had a little table furniture for eating on, the one in the living room area was broken/ sitting sideways, so when my daughter went to place her food on top to use, it completely fell over! So that was unfortunate. The beds were super comfy! It felt like being wrappped in a cloud. We had a lot of trash being a big family, so I wish there was extra trash bags in the room to use. Staff was friendly & very helpful! Letting us have a late checkout as my husband was having a work meeting inside the hotel until 4pm. it is very much appreciated! Over all, the hotel is very clean, cozy, & nice! Home away from home. We would very much stay here again in the future when we are in the area.

We had several issues while checking in. The service person was having difficulty and had me swipe my card several times. This resulted in being charged four times for a room we had prepaid online through Hotels.com. When we went to speak to the service person, they had no way of changing / refunding. We asked for management, and after several back and forth requests, the housekeeping manager came. She was much nicer, but still unable to refund. Very disappointing. We are “pending” refund for the unauthorized charges. We wish the prepaid, insured reservation was more secure to avoid this almost $675 error.

Always enjoy our stay at the Element, comfy beds, yummy fresh breakfast. Unfortunately the pool was not open, and the internet went down but only for an hour or so, and our bathroom sink was clogged but other than that we had a nice stay. It is in a good location between downtown and the airport.

This place was absolutely amazing.. From the minute we hit the door we where welcomed by Maddison C and Bella S. Both ladies where extremely helpful and very sweet. The room was top-tier. The bed was super comfy (pillows were feather not my preference) and the room was very clean. The wine and Beer room n tap after a long drive was a surprise and the Breafast was super good. (Loved the chicken sausage) We will definitely return…

The front desk person was great. We were assigned to a room that smelled like a wet dog. It was damp and unpleasant. The front desk person was very nice. She assigned us to another room. That one had blinds that would not close. So we had bright lights from the back area on our faces all night. It was late, and there were no other rooms. So the property and hotel overall seems nice, but our rooms were disasters.

Even though I asked for housekeeping service, it never happened. There weren't enough towels, washcloths, and there was no spare toilet paper. I "slept" on the sofabed, which was terribly uncomfortable. There was also no sheet or blanket for the sofabed, and I had to ask for that as well. The sofabed was hard and it was impossible to sleep around the springs digging into my back. Do better, Element!

Very nice hotel, clean and well maintained. Great gym, and the rooms had everything you need to make an easy meal. This was probably the most enjoyable night of our ten-night trip. The location is perfect, it's far from the bad side of town, and in a large retail area with tons of restauraunts and shops within walking distance. It was full by the end of the night, though, so don't count on a room unless you make a reservation! The only negative, and I'm stretching here, was the elevator was slow and obvioulsy old. So I took the stairs.

Free EV charging is a bonus! Staff is incredibly friendly. Near some fast food places like In-n-Out! Lighting in shower was kinda gross. There was no coffee during breakfast. The breakfast selection wasn't great. More take away items would be nice to have.

The rooms were nice and clean and staff was very friendly. A little disappointed that the pool area was full of kids not really allowing adults any chance of swimming and relaxing. Very loud neighbors that had kids banging on walls and slamming bathroom door.

We really enjoyed the cleanliness and size of the room. Location was perfect for why we were in town. We had issues with checking in. We wanted to use our debit card to pay for the room when we left but were having issues being told we could not. It was a hassle trying to pay for the room with debit. If you are getting paid for the room by debit it shouldn't matter what debit card, you were using.

I like that this hotel is located close to food and shopping options. Didn't like that you have to get let into the property each time you need to come in. (I think I get why this is the case, but it can be inconvenient if the attended isn't watching the door to let you enter the hotel.)

We really like the hotel. Some hotels have small magnets to keep the heavy doors into the rooms from closing when you are moving suitcases into the rooms. I wish this hotel had those magnets.

Easy check in, and staff super friendly specially the front desk. In one occasion we were running a little late for breakfast and they were willing to hold for couple more minutes. Swimming pool was a plus for the kids. Clean place and shampoo and body wash included! I would definitely go back!

Very nice room. My room has two queen beds. We were there 2 nights 3 days. Never received room service. Knocked off two stars as we needed room service. We were gone all day each day, only to come in for bed time and room wasn’t serviced. For $200 a night you would think it would be a priority. Hmm 🤔

The photos do not do this place justice! This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! VERY clean, full kitchen with everything you’d need to cook. Staff is very friendly and parking is not overcrowded. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a room in Sacramento!!!!!

I didn't love the pillows but I'm picky about that issue! My hotel room faced the freeway, if you're sensitive to noise bring earplugs, which I always do if you have a freeway facing room. There are good double paned windows though. I love that there was free readily available parking. There is a nice desk for working that I'm sitting at writing and a big tv. Overall a great hotel and I'd stay here again!

The only issue I had was at the service desk, she didn’t let me know a total or if there was a deposit she just charged my card. The room was really nice and big but the walls are thin and could hear noise from above us.

My family booked this hotel last minute after a day of driving from Southern California. The hotel felt modern, clean, and welcoming. Check in was easy and our room was clean and welcoming, as well. The second faucet with filtered water was a game changer, in my opinion! We always spend a fortune while traveling purchasing water bottles when hotels don’t have a place for us to refill our water bottles with filtered water. It was definitely a nice touch! The beds and bedding were comfortable and even the pull out couch was comfortable! They had a multitude of option for breakfast, especially for folks who are looking for healthier options or alternatives. The room was very big and had more than we needed for our overnight stay. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly. However, we were very disappointed in the breakfast. The "hot" choices were eggs or avocado toast. We didn't feel like this was adequate. Also, the Cheerios were stale and only one of the toasters was working correctly.

However, we were very disappointed in the breakfast. The "hot" choices were eggs or avocado toast. We didn't feel like this was adequate. Also, the Cheerios were stale and only one of the toasters was working correctly.

Really lovely lobby and pool area. The rooms are spacious. The kitchens in the rooms are a huge plus. Friendly staff. Plenty of food options within walking distance.

The hotel was beautiful. I attempted to check in early unexpectedly. The did their best to accommodate me. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes and was capable of checking in. The shuttle service took over an hour to come pick us up at the airport due to numerous phone calls not by able to talk to someone

We waited over 1 hour before getting a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Called 5 times before finally getting ahold of someone very poor service we have another reservation for this hotel but we are going to cancel and go somewhere else

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at in the US. Everything was easy. The parking, room access, well equipped gym, delicious and healthy breakfast and the most comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

I did get sick after staying here despite having no other sick contacts. I believe it is the shared ventilation system (most hotels have ductless HVAC units in each room). I won't be staying again.

It has nice cozy well equipped rooms and good amenities. Free parking on spot it makes it very easy to check in. The down part is the breakfast. Maybe its only me but I would expect better options like other same level hotels serve. Anyway its an excellent stay.

The Element is such a great place to stay. It is fresh, clean, and modern. My family is always so comfortable staying there. The amenities, like the warm breakfast and full kitchen, are also extremely helpful.

This place is beautiful. The linens are so comfortable. The kitchen is a great convenience. The breakfast was great. Delicious homemade muffins. Our only complaint--the pool was too cold.

The front desk team was very friendly and efficient. They offered dog treats to my little pug. She felt at home in our room. Rooms were very clean and felt safe during covid times. I could not hear neighbors and pets from my room only when walking in the hallways. I will definitely stay her again.

Unfortunately we did not get to stay at the Element due to car troubles during our cross country move. We had to cancel last minute and the front desk staff, I believe her name was Bella, went above and beyond to assist. She was so kind and helpful , we will definitely be staying at the element based on this great experience .

Checkin did not explain everything. I got a solid black key and have no idea what it is for.

I had an early flight, so I checked to see if it was possible to check in early. They had a room ready and allowed me to check in without needing to pay extra, which some other hotels require. I love staying at the Element and try to do so whenever possible when I come to Sacramento. The crepes this morning was a nice surprise!

Checked in at 1am after flight experience from hell. Frint desk person was an absolute joy after such a crappy day. Very nice place. We would stay again.

Pillows smelled like BO, blankets were dusty, and old, kitchen ran out of breakfast items, macaroni tasted like cardboard pillows were flat

Great to get there in time for happy hour. Very nice place. Freash eggs for breakfast cooked in front of you is awesome. Close to stores, bars, and restaurants.
