The bathroom wasn’t clean in our room. I had to wipe down the entire bathroom including the toilet with my Clorox wipes. We asked for towels and wash cloths several times over the phone and was put on hold for over 20 minutes each time. We finally had to walk down to the front desk and ask. The elevators were broken due to an alarm being set off. This was a huge inconvenience because we had to take the stairs and our room was all the way on the other side of the hotel. My husband is healing from a torn Achilles injury so this was really inconvenient.

Could be better: key is needed to enter the main entrance to the hotel. For guests who are. Checked in, it’s fine since they have a key card. For us who have none, waited about 10 minutes for the staff to open the door. Cons: 1. needs updating. Signs of age showing. 2. There’s a smell of pee before turning the air conditioner on.3 I have a wheelchair, the elevator wasn’t working, this made my already tired husband to lift the wheelchair. I had to climb stairs. 4. No foresight to keep some rooms open in the first floor for handicapped guests . No free breakfast.

Unfortunately, my experience was below expectations. The front desk staff were unfriendly and not particularly helpful. The hotel advertised free parking, yet I was charged $10, which felt misleading. The shower was disappointing, with poor water pressure and overall water quality. Most concerning, my room had a noticeable marijuana smell throughout my stay, which made it difficult to feel comfortable. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again unless these issues are addressed.

The facility was fine. They seemed short staffed with lines waiting to be checked in and the front desk unmanned when we needed help with the TV not working. No free breakfast. The bistro food was fine especially the chicken wings. Hot tub and pool nice.

Came into town for a volleyball tournament. Arrived at the hotel around 10 am and asked if we could check in early and they said YES! The staff was very helpful letting us unload our car and get ready for the day.

As a location, please work on improving customer service and guest satisfaction. I hope that if I return in the future, I will have a much better check-in experience.

Friendly accommodating staff. Friend I was traveling with needed to go to hospital for kidney stones and staff worked me on staying until she was released. As with most places I felt room needed a deep cleaning.

Placard said my rm was cleaned by “Na jiira;” she did a poor job. Room had musty odor & I went out, bought Chlorox wipes, & set around the room to kill smell. In the bathroom, top of tile had been wiped repeatedly to each corner and the debris left there. Have stayed with you many times & never had a room in such bad condition. Housekeepers need to be instructed on proper cleaning methods.

Booked last minute. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. Room looked old and outdated. Had to hold the toilet handle down in order for it to flush. Hot tub was cold.

The room smelled horrible. I had called front desk, and was moved to another room, and it had the same bad odor. The property needs upgrades, and the carpets needs to be cleaned.

Roll on bed is beyond bad .. No support. Marriot should not offer that type of pull out as a bed..

The quietness of my room Unfortunately the Bistro wasn't open for dinner so I had no dinner other than a bag of potato chips.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. On Christmas mourning at 7am the fire alarm went off and all guest had to evacuate the building. No fire was reported thank God. We were able to go back into the building once the firefighters came. About 20-30min later the alarm went off again for about 1 minute or so. No free breakfast and you have to pay for parking. Pay at property it’s only $10 a night.

Horrible experience! First off the TV kept shutting off, kept freezing on channels and eventually never came back on. The amount of light through the door cracks, curtains and all the lights from the thermostat, clocks,LED’s makes it extremely hard to sleep. But the biggest thing and absolutely gross is that the tub instantly clogged and filled with water trying to shower. 2 Adults and 2 children not ideal! But I will say the check in staff was very nice and the beds are comfortable. Clearly low maintenance! Other than that I would NOT stay here again.

The drains in the shower were clogged and not fully draining the water. The products were very low grade and we had to pay for parking. Also, the room was quite expensive for the quality.

Girl who checked us out was kind and courteous unlike the guy who checked us in aroind 11 pm the night before. He had a rude attitude about us asking a simple question about using a secondary card on the accound that was a family member of ours.

I reserved a wheel chair accessible room with a roll in shower because I have a disabled daughter. The shower did not have the hand held sprayer so how a wheel chair bound person is supposed to shower is beyond me? The only electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work either. So she did not shower, and in order to use our personal devices we had to plug it in the coffee maker station and stretch the cord to the only other mirror available in the hall way. We tried to call the office but it just rang and rang with no answer. Then they did not disclose parking was a separate fee and charged my card! The room also had an over powering cleaning smell.

Whoever checked me out at night was great there was a few issues with the room the fridge was hard to open since it kept getting stuck on the ledge it wasn’t balanced well i believe the fridge in 166 needs to be fixed also the tv wasn’t working but the hotel in general is nice and clean

We enjoyed our recent stay. We’ve stayed here in the past, and we keep coming back when we’re in the area. It’s a clean hotel and we know what we’re getting. There are no frills and it’s not fancy, but the staff is nice, the room is clean, and the lobby restaurant offers good food. We’ll keep coming back.

In less than 24 hours we had to move to 3 different rooms. Room 1- TV did not work . Room 2- bathroom light didn’t work. Room 3- the phone didn’t work and the room looked worn down. My stay was not enjoyable .

First off let me say I never do these reviews but I need to warn people that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. First off our tv didn’t work so maintenance had to come and as soon as he left it didn’t work again he came and it didn’t work but we didn’t want to change rooms because we had already unpacked. The room had a weird smell and was not clean at all. Dirty toilet walls u could see where someone punched a whole above the bathroom door and to top it off my boyfriend woke up covered in bug bites literally 10 bites overnight which means they have bed bugs.

The property was very clean. The location is ok. My favorite part was the soft and comfortable beds. It would have even better if breakfast was included in the price.

The hotel has always been great. This trip was different. The elevators were not working and we were on the 3rd floor. We were stuck in the elevator for a good 5 minutes before it opened we did not know it wasn't working there were no signs. The iron in our room was broken it was on high no matter what the temp i set it at. I burned my husbands shirt. We had black ants all over the restroom on the toilet, counters (I have pictures and video) we had to move room right in the middle of our stay due to elevator problems which meant moving our luggage 3 flights down. After telling the front counter their answer was "you are one of 50 complaints nothing i can do".

Rooms were very ckean and smelled nice . The pool was tidy also the bar and restaurant offered good drink and food choices.

TV was no working. Ball called the front desk and they sent someone up who fixed it.

Everyone but Ryan was rude and unhelpful at hotel. If not for him, the hotel would receive 0 stars. It’s honestly tacky and distasteful when a place that’s supposed to feel like a home away from home, feels like a chore rather than relaxing experience.

Food and shopping within walking distance. With all the construction taking place, it made navigating the shopping/dining areas a challenge. Otherwise, I have no complaints about this facility. This was my second stay at this property.

Always a quiet and nice place to stay for a business trip

It was exactly what we needed after a trip to Yosemite. Basic amenities. Pool and hot tub were a plus.

Friendly staff and relaxing bed. However, when checking in the room was very unclean. Hair on the soap dispenser in the shower was found, room smelled musty. I had my clorox wipes to clean more. The staff offered another room; however the staff had the housekeeper to reclean the room. The phone in the room worked poorly. I did enjoy the dinner; but few amenities to impress. Not a bad place to stay due to the kind staff members at the front desk; moreover the uncleanliness of the room was a big negative!

This property is very clean. The service was excellent. There is a restaurant on-site which was very convenien. The room was a good size.

Plenty of parking, you just need to figure out which exit door will be closest to your room, then park near that exit!

The staff that checked me in was very curt. That was fine as she was likely at the end of her shift. Upon getting into the room I was met with a huge cockroach in the sink. It was late, we were tired so my husband just killed it. In the morning we used the coffee machine but coffee went everywhere. It turns out that the coffee cup was broken. The shower had a long black hair in it which was unpleasant. The bed was not as good as other Marriott hotels. Perhaps it’s just this brand. 😕

AC was out for 15 hours, had to call twice and extremely hot. Double charged on parking because paid Expedia in advance. Clean and nice otherwise.

Overall hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, front counter staff was friendly, only issue was bistro staff was not, cashier was very rude.

The room was dirty and had no hot water, so I had to take a cold shower. I tried calling the help desk, but no one answered. I had to go down in person. After about an hour, they moved me to another building. Also, the remote control in the room didn’t work..

Had to Change rooms because the smell of pet urine was really strong. TV was giving us fits. Then lost hot water for a bit. Staff was great though.

The staff was wonderful and so friendly. We had a late check in due to traffic and they were there to greet us, after a long trip, with a smile. The room was clean and beef was comfortable.

Rooms are run down. Beds are uncomfortable. I've stayed in better Marriots. Rooms are not great. TV did not work. I had to request room service.

It was clean, had a great restaurant and the staff was wonderful!

The location was less than a mile walk to/from Cal Expo going through the back parking lot. All staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The room smelled like pee covered in bleach. There was makeup, hair, dirt in the sheets. The manager came promptly to change sheets. The bathroom was moldy and humid.

Check in was awesome. Debe was so personable and welcoming. The lobby area is beautiful and spacious. The room was excellent. Clean and looks new. Lots of outlets which at some hotels is not the case. Refrigerator worked well. We stopped by the bar after our return to hotel and found the bartender who has worked there 20 years to be so personable. Hotel was quiet. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Sacramento.

I am a repeat customer and will continue to be so. The staff are friendly. The room i had was a bit tired looking this time and not 100% clean, and the bed did not have much support. But other than that, it was a decent stay.

Didn't expect only a microwaved breakfast in the dining room, but it was OK. When I had leftovers to reheat for a snack, there was no microwave in the room, so had to take my container down to the snack sales room down by the main desk.

I hate it when they charge $10 for parking which is never disclosed upfront when you book. Also, their restaurant is horrible. They charged $20 for a glass of house chardonnay and their food was obviously microwave stuff.

the refrigerator is absurdly small. could not even store my dinner leftovers in it. the bed is too soft. bad for back pain.

I had a few hours to kill before heading to the airport and the staff allowed me to keep my luggage in a secure spot while I read by the pool.
