The staff were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. it's nice to know they have a shuttle service that runs from the hotel to the airport and visa versa from 4am to 10pm. We didn't like that parking fee was ten dollars per night. We would understand if it was a big city and there was limited street parking or something, but the location is isolated, and there were so many spaces to choose from. I hope they reconsider this fee in the future.

The area around the hotel is peaceful and beautiful. The down stairs / lobby area is great. The beds were comfortable and clean. The issues we ran into were that the air conditioner was extremely loud, as something was rattling around inside whenever it was on and it was necessary to have it on. The sliding door to the bathroom was off track and couldn’t open all the way with grinding on something and the grind was very loud. I told staff about the issue in the morning and it was unclear if he was taking what I was saying in, as he looked at me blankly as I spoke to him. Other than the room, the Hotel is lovely. Unfortunately, it’s the room that matters most.

Room was clean and the view was excellent

I was disappointed that they no longer offer a complimentary breakfast and beverages like other Marriott's. The room had a small fridge but did not have a microwave which was also disappointing. Coffee provided for you to make in the room was awful tasting which I suspect is because Starbucks is now selling coffee and other breakfast and food items on site. All in all, the price for the room was very good, and the location felt safe and easy to get in and out of.

This was a great place to stay and the staff was very attentive and kind. The breakfast menu was pretty expensive, but in CA it’s pretty much par for the course. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine until I got home and there was a $50.00 charge on my debit card. I tried several times to speak with the hotel staff but nobody answered the phone??? I therefore called my bank and had the charge cancelled which they did immediately. So what’s up?

Complementary breakfast should be included with your reservation and you shouldn’t be charged for parking each day of stay, especiallyin a parking lot that belongs to the hotel. I can understand being charge for parking if parking was offsite but on site parking and being charged per day is a little bit ridiculous especially when you pay a high price for one night stay that’s just my thoughts on my stay there.

I enjoy staying here and highly recommend it to any one who likes peace, comfort and tranquility in the lobby or a nice garden area with a pool.

We stayed here because they had park and fly options and a shuttle to the airport. The only negative for us was that the shuttle doesn’t run as late as our return flight.

Great stay 1 night before Flying out!

There was no ice machine on the first floor and also breakfast wasn’t included in the stay. But everything else was good. Very convenient to the airport. And I would stay there again.

Was able to be on the same floor as my family which was great. Staff really try to accommodate if possible. Room and areas were clean. Some rooms were updated and some are still going to get worked on. Quiet hours were abided for the most part but right at 8am be prepared because sometimes you could hear the vacuum be used next door.

We didn’t get the room we selected online. We requested a room with a sofa bed.It was late when we arrived so accepted it as is.

I went down to have the dinner at 5 pm the fryer was not working bag of chips was the substitute or salad. Meal was good nice servers. I wanted to tip as I only had cash on me. They could not break a hundred dollars. I tried the front desk they were no help. Ice machine broken, back elevator out of service. .

The room we were initially given had red stains on the bathroom floor, it may have even been blood! We asked to switch rooms, the attendant shrugged it of and said it was “probably just wine and no big deal”I did not pay for a room only to have to clean it. I had to ask twice before being granted a room.

I was very pleased with the hospitality on Friday night at check in with Jasmine at the front counter. Check in was quick and we were able to talk a bit on the reason for me being in the area. I didn’t have to interact with staff much after that. Our room was clean, the gym facility was also clean and access of machines and water with no problems. Overall, a quiet property. Thank you for a great job well done. Will stay again if in the area.

Friendly staff, easy check in, and the room was very clean. The only issue we ran into (not really an issue) was parking. Spots fill up quickly so if you go out in the night, chance are there won’t be any spots or you park in the EV parking which is what we did. Overall definitely recommend.

Returned a rental car at the airport. Needed a shuttle to the room in the evening and again to the terminal very early (4am) the next morning. They couldn't have made it easier.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly when I told them that there was a homeless man in the parking lot. They ran outside, shooed them off and told us we could leave our car in the well lit area for the evening.

Good hotel to stay the night before flying out of SMF. Price is right. The only thing that annoyed me was that one of the beds was five inches away from the wall, which made it impossible to get in and out of. I had to work my way to the foot of the bed to exit and enter. Also, both beds were right up against the night stand that was between them. Very cramped.

Although other facilities were not immediately adjacent, a good area of restaurants and shopping was one exit further down the interstate. Would choose to stay here again.

They put us in a room that was smoking after we asked to make sure it was not a smoking room, it smelled like mold and cigarettes. Paint on the walls were coming off in the bathroom and you can see all the yellow under the paint. They did move us into another room it did not smell like smoke, but the sink would not drain all the way.

Staff made check-in pleasant. Food was generally delicious but expensive.

Very good except the kitchen was out of service so no breakfast available.

The staff was very nice and the property itself was well-kept. However, the hallways were poorly lit, which gave me an unsafe feeling while walking through them.

So clean, rooms are comfortable and spacious. Definitely recommend rooms with patio.

The grounds were beautiful, the lobby was super nice and the staff was super friendly. The rooms were large compared to some where you have to shimmy around the beds. The beds were comfy and room temp was good. It was easy to find and park.

It was great that they have a shuttle to the airport but it would be good if they could take more than 5 people at a time—we had to take very early shuttle because the later one was full. Other than that very satisfied with the hotel!

Nothing to share

I read in an earlier review that they were doing renovations at one point and our room didn't look like it had been finished. Missing base trim and exposed tile edges etc. The rest of the hotel looked clean and the staff was very friendly.

Awesome as usual, never have to worry about cleanliness and beds are super comfy! So that has been a bad thing when it comes to waking up early.

We had a 4 night stay and everything was more than we expected. The receptionist Diana was so sweet and helpful, she gave us a very nice room. It was very clean, new carpet (a huge plus) some upgrades, plus a new mattress was put in during our stay 👍. The hotel looks beautiful with all the new upgrades. The housekeeping was top notch. Thanku. Will definitely stay again

Appreciate the very friendly and helpful staff. I appreciate Diana and Melody for going the extra mile, literally. Thank you for also driving our shuttle to and from the airport such that we got there on time for the flight. I would just highly suggest that future hotel guests call them way ahead of time to book the shuttle service as they dont just go around the airport picking up passengers like at other bigger airports (i.e. LAX). You need to call them once you land at the airport. The hotel may be on the older side but the hotel rooms are very clean and even have balconies. Very quiet surroundings too.

THE MANAGER AND STAFF WERE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNCOOPERATIVE. THEY CHARGED ME $30 FOR ADDITIONAL BAGEL AND FUIT CUP. WHEN I CONFRONTED WITH MANAGER ABOUT THE BREAKFAST, HIS COMMENT WAS TECHNICALLY BREAKFAST IS A SMALL COFFEE AND A BAGEL!! ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!

When booking I booked this hotel for the shuttle to the airport. Upon arriving I found out the shuttle starts too late that I couldn’t get my flight in time. The shuttle hours were never listed anywhere when booking. So I’m having to take an Uber now because they start the shuttle too late

The hotel seemed a bit old and a bit dingy. Seemed to have a very large and nice pool area, did not use it though. Staff were fine and helpful but some things were not quite right. No grab bar in the shower tub, or at least at the right end. The toilet was a low water version but with virtually no water in the bowl created some issues that I will not go into here! The elevator at my end of the building stopped working and necessitated a fairly long walk. The breakfast kitchen was closed so no food, just coffee in the morning. The room door lock had a bad habit of shooting the deadbolt assembly out when the door was open, and this kept the door from closing on at least one occasion. You had to jiggle the lock to get it to retract! Had to be careful that it shut correctly, and that’s not right! Probably will not stay here again, too bad…

There was also an office chair for the desk, but that isn't comfortable. A room with two beds ought to have two armchairs, eh?

Bad customer service

When we first arrived late at night, there was construction going on, so the front of the hotel was closed off and there were no signs indicating which door to enter the hotel. We tried to call the number for the hotel and never got an answer. By sheer luck, we ran into the night attendant outside and he was able to go around and come to that door and let us in. The room was fine, but when we walked out in the morning after being awakened by construction, we saw the floor ripped up baseboards, ripped up carpet and padding rolled into piles by the elevators and the entire hallway was a mess with axes and buckets and hammers, and all sorts of tools laying around. They should close this location until they finish their renovations. Totally unacceptable.

The main entrance was under construction, so it was confusing to check in, we went to a makeshift desk area to check in, which took a while, but Roman was friendly. The elevator floors were not too clean, but room was nice and it was clean and comfy

Not up to standards I expect from a Marriott. Pile of old furniture and mattresses dumped in the parking lot, hallway carpet hasn't been cleaned in years. Area around the bathroom mirror never finished, area around top of shower stall never finished, terrible job finishing area around the orror from previous remodel.. stains on the carpeting in the room, because of current construction only take out breakfast, have to go outside to get access to the office or back to the room. Looks more like a motel 6. I have pictures if anyone is interested

Besides the construction, everything was great

The property did not warn us that it was under extensive renovations. This made it hard to navigate the property especially since many entrances/exits were closed-off. When we did locate the pool, it had leaves all in it. There was no breakfast that we know of and the location was near a some business industrial park. Will not stay there again.

The check-in person was soo cheerful and nice! I wish I got her name, (she was maybe Islander or filipino) but it was a pleasant check-in process! .. having a person like that always makes a person feel at ease, when checking in. Check-out was great! Got my email receipt immediately! The past reviews of some people got me a little nervous. I'm glad I chose to go to this location anyway. I can't wait to come back to see the post renovation. .. also add some more white lighting in the hallways, it will have a more modern look, I think.

I gave only 4 stars because my first room had a wet carpet. I went to reception, they gave me another room with no hassle. It's a very cozy a great place overall.

We experienced a scare during our stay. Someone tried to get into our room while we were sleeping at midnight. It happened twice. I called front desk & they sent security. Very alarming!

The staff followed me to the airport after check in to return our rental. They were very accommodating. Great amenities but we were not there long enough to utilize most of them.

Great. Had one rude guest who came out and shouted at other guests walking through the hallway to shut the eff up. Great night's sleep otherwise.

If this hotel had a continental breakfast, I would have given it a higher rating. The employees were very nice. The beds are so uncomfortable and same with the pillows. We also wished that they would put another spare blanket in the closet in case it was needed. Because of no continental breakfast and the fact it has no amenities nearby, we probably won’t stay there again.

For the price, this is a sub-standard option. There are various Marritt-isms that diminish the experience below that of similar hotels. No fresh brewed coffee in the lobby in the mornings, an elevator that emitted a piercing beep every time any one enters or exits, and a charge of $10 a day for parking in an uncovered lot. There are better options nearby the airport that make for a more pleasant experience.
