The staff were friendly and the room clean. The breakfast was plenty and the coffee perfect. The location was good and easy freeway access. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed our stay. Best Western was affordable and very safe.

The pool was dirty, the jacuzzi is broken and the bathroom to the pool area had roaches. The breakfast was not as advertised. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was the same one they use in your room and it takes forever for someone to make a cup of coffee. This place is definitely not worth the price you pay for the rooms.

Their staff was very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Our room smelled of old cigarettes and mildew, the mattress smelled as well. The pool was dirty & the hot tub was out of commission but was poorly covered and had debris and trash with standing water in it.

The carpet in the room did not appear clean, and there was an unpleasant odor. The carpets looked worn, and there were visible dark spots and cracks on the walls and in the bathroom. Given the nightly rate of over $150, I expected a significantly higher standard of accommodation. Overall, I don't think I will be returning.

It is convenient for where we are working, the beds are comfortable, good water pressure and hot water, large TV with good selection of channels, somewhat quiet, they have breakfast, the front desk was helpful and our vehicle didn't get broken into. Getting a bit run down, carpets need to be replaced, kind of in a bad part of town, breakfast has minimal choices and leaves a lot to be desired, and people sleeping in their vehicles in the parking lot.

While I enjoyed the comfort of my bed, the size of the room, and the view… the second we walked in through the front door to the lobby, it smelled like animal pee, and the second we walked into our room, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of weed. I got past the weed smell but I found many more issues. The light switch next to the sink mirror turns the mirror area’s lights on, however there is another light switch in the closet that also turns on the light above the sink. If you flick on the closet switch without the mirror switch, the light will come on, but it will flicker as if it doesn’t have enough power to stay on. If you turn both switches on, it either dims and flickers or is off completely. The toilet does not flush, do not bother, water comes into the bowl, swirls around, and drains out, leaving anything with a more solid consistency than pee still there more often than not. No hand soap! They gave us a bar of face wash next to the bathroom sink, and no soap dish of any kind, so prepare to have soapy water on the counter and a bar of not even hand soap that was just sitting in its own slime. The shower was fine, poor water pressure. The carpet was pretty stained. The slip in the elevator shows that the safety inspection is overdue; it's printed to say it expired on the 5th of March, and it is the 13th as I am writing this. The lock on the bathroom door does not lock; it's completely for show and just spins around when you try to use it.

The staff at the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was great. I love staying there. I complaint is with booking.com, I go to Sacramento every 2 weeks. This last trip was the 3rd time that they have booked me into a handy cap wheelchair excess able room. I'm deaf not crippled. I had to wait 2 hours for the staff at the hotel to try and get a hold of someone at booking.com to straighten it out. Plus booking.com booked me twice.. the hotel had me booked for 2 rooms??? Booking.com booked me twice. This was the second time they did this.

Room was not very clean. There were several hairs on the toilet and shower. Corners of floors were very dirty. Room smelled musty. Refrigerator was not cleaned very well. Morning staff was not at the desk when I needed helped. Breakfast was ok. Not very good quality.

My stay at this hotel was generally good. Check-in was smooth, and the staff members were friendly during both check-in and check-out. I appreciated getting the bottom-floor room I requested. The room was clean, but there was an initial odor because the mini fridge had been left slightly open. The AC worked well, and the bed was okay, just a bit too firm for my taste. The biggest issue was the noise from the guests in the room above me—they were very loud and made it hard to relax. The bathroom also needs improvement. Water pressure in Room 111 was weak, the tub took a long time to fill, and the showerhead didn’t have much pressure. On the positive side, the continental breakfast was tasty, and I always enjoy making my own waffle. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved.

And due to baseball and softball tournaments there were no affordable options. We sprayed our perfume, left the window open as well as kept the fan on. Getting woke up at 11:30 at night with some drunk who didn't belong in the hotel banging on my door looking for someone, then henwent to bunch of different rooms abd was knocking on their doors. then management was arguing with him and telling people to take him home or somewhere. First thing was me calling the hotel to inform them that there was two of us traveling, and the one person would get to the hotel before me I called the front desk and told them that the person that was traveling with me would be arriving first, and I wasn’t quite sure if their name was listed on the room so they took down my name which is on the reservation and the other person‘s name, so obviously I thought that was it. So when my partner arrived at the hotel, they did not see his name anywhere any notes passed along or anything of that nature. So once I arrived, I go in there and give her my license. She looked at my license and said that there was no room even with the itinerary number confirmation number, so me and my partner were discussing things and just going to rent a room without the Expedia booking and settle up with Expedia later, and I asked for her information so I could be covered because I didn’t want be charged for not showing up for a room that I obviously booked and was confirmed for. Once I asked for her information suddenly the reservation appeared so I don’t know if it was a race thing or incompetence thing but it was very disappointing to say the least .

Dirty hallway carpets. Sink stop disconnected in our room. Refrigerator was turned way down causing water from full drip pan to flow onto the carpet when opened. House keeping asked us. not to use white shower towel to wipe it up as the carpet is too dirty and gave a clean rag to us. e. Electrical outlets on lamps were worn out. No problem with the staff. No bed bugs roaches, or mice living there. A/C and heating worked, Mattress was ok, a newer one would be better. My wife and I stayed there for a week over Christmas..

The staff and service were awesome. The room didn’t have a remote for the TV, so the front desk person had to bring up a new one after being swamped by check-ins. The thermostat had repeated errors, so the front desk person had to fix it. The room isn’t very sound proof, and I could hear every single person walking in and out of their rooms and walking down the hall. I was awaken at 3:30 am, and couldn’t go back to sleep.

You can hear everything through the walls. Was un able to sleep do to being able to hear peaple on both sides, below us and outside all night. Master suit was great size and clean.

Great for a quick stay. It has what you need however everything seems super outdated. Old carpet with moldy bathroom. Housekeeping will wait for you literally right outside your room for you to leave so they can go in.

The particular room we were given smelled of mold and had mold in the bathroom. We called the front desk and requested a different room as we had kids and didn’t want to stay in the smell. They said there were no other rooms but maybe we could get a discount. We never heard back from the front desk and Expedia wait time for cancelling was too long.

I rented the suite room with balcony for me and my gf and I was sooooooo disappointed that best western can’t even provide a heater for their pool. I was advised to not swim in it. $500 for two nights and no pool. There’s really no excuse. Do better. Why even have a damn pool if it’s not maintained right ?

Was very happy with our stay here. Staff was super friendly, overall it was very quiet, room was clean and beds were comfy, and a/c worked great. Was in town for the weekend for an event, and this for our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

Needed room near Kaiser hospital. We were on the 3rd Floor. I'd stay here again when in Sac. Facility was quiet and CHP office was across the street. Easy access to fwy. Breakfast provided had hot and cold options. Every staff member we spoke with was professional and pleasant.

Quick stay after family event. Room was comfortable and beds were good. FINALLY a room with lighter weight bedcovers. I have such a hard time sleeping with the too hot goose down that hotels always have. I appreciated that our room had cooler bedding. Parking lot was packed, but we found spots available. Elevator smelled like weed, but that is our society these days. Hotel cannot control what people smell like.
