Assigned 1st floor room near front desk. Felt safe. Mattress a bit bowed in the middle. Lighting in bathroom wasn't great due to my old eyes.

This Holiday Inn Express was just fine in the bedroom and bathroom department. Breakfast was good with good choices. Only problem was Internet did not seem to be working in our room 303. Had to go outside our room to get a connection. So…. Could not lie in bed or on the sofa and use our phone or laptop. Brought this to the attention of front desk. Perhaps they will get that fixed. Front desk, staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful as they could be. We will be back.

I've stayed at others, but this will be my go to place. I have shared with others. This hotel is more inviting.

There was a plumbing problem that was not resolved while I was there. Sink in the bathroom had dirt blowback that was not addressed.

The room was clean. The hand soap needed to be refilled and housekeeping took care of it immediately. The assortment of food provided at breakfast was very good.

Updated rooms, quiet and convenient location. Hotel and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent! Lots of choices, cold and hot. Cheese omelet or egg white veggie omelet, country potatoes, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Machine for freshly made pancakes. Machine for fresh ground and brewed coffee. Better quality than most hotels offer!

Dated property. When exiting the elevator, the carpets smelled musty. Mold on the grout in the bathroom. The air conditioning worked on and off, when we were going to call about it, it started working. Won’t be staying here again, when there’s a newer one about a mile away. The stand, however, was very friendly and accommodating.

The young man friday & Saturday was friendly. On Sunday the young lady was kinda grumpy because we told her that the oxygen company was going to come by and pick up some equipment that they had dropped off for my Dad. She acted like it put her out from what she was doing. But all in all not to bad.

This hotel is our "go to" whenever we are in Rocklin to visit family. It's clean, the staff is great, and although the free breakfast isn't 5 star, it's better than most hotels, with more than just carbs and sugar for breakfast. Fresh brewed coffee is always available in the lobby as well!

My stay was great. However there was a stain on one of the beds in the double queen bedroom. I of course slept on the bed that wasnt stained. Overall the stay was pleasant, I felt safe and the room and bedding smelled freshly cleaned.

This was the first time in a year of staying here for work travels that i had a problem. Hopefully it's a isolated case and it wont happen again. At about 12:45 AM the fire alarm went off for about 10 min. No smoke in the hallways and nobody was leaving the rooms. So i just went back to bed. Then about 6:15 AM the fire alarm went off again, but this time only for a few min.

The bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very conveniently located across the street from Sutter Hospital. Some decent restaurants were nearby. Breakfast was terrible. TV didn’t work. Bathroom was only semi-clean. Street noise was loud. Not worth $200+ a night.

Thanks to the friendly hospitality, cleanliness of the hotel room and grounds and overall wonderful stay.

Our stay was very good overall, but there were a few things that could use some improvement. The towels and washcloths were somewhat thin and rough. The first morning the water was not as hot as I prefer for my shower, plus the shower head only had two settings. Our TV remote worked rather sketchily, even after replacing the batteries.

Even though I booked two queens through Expedia when I arrived they moved me to a King because they received more booking through their site and that was a priority

Check in was easy; however, the lady at the front desk didn’t seem particularly pleasant. Again, full house with people checking in all at the same time but first impressions are always important. Only one elevator for everyone (small) and two luggage carts so keep that in mind when checking in. The line for the elevator at 3pm was long. I’m a Hilton and Marriott member so this was my first time in a very long time staying outside of those two brands. Since there were events happening this weekend, this hotel had the best rates and reviews. Everything seemed justified and the bed was very comfy as well.

Lack of lighting. Nobody at the front desk answers the phone. The sound of traffic was loud all night and disrupted our sleep. The push carts were all wobbly. Not impressed. Guest kept knocking on our door and disappearing. Will not return.

I like to stay at this hotel when i come to Roseville once or twice a year. I have been with my family and solo. I like the location and that it is right next to the Miner's Ravine Trail which is a beautiful walking trail. I like the staff and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are clean. I have never used the pool so can't comment on that. I would recommend staying here.

We love staying here when we have doctors appointments in Roseville. Breakfast is awesome. Staff is great. Room is good size (we always reserve accessible king/sofabed room). The only issue is siren sounds from outside which we can't complain when it is located near Sutter Roseville hospital.

Keycards also demagnitize even when kept away from everything. This has happened on the last 3 visits here. This time, they didn't work walking from the front desk to the room. It's also inconvenient since you need them to get in the building.

Great spot to stay at. Close to everything and rooms are updated. Beds and pillows are comfortable and pool was great temperature.

There was also an unsettling pbeeping that came from the headboard, likely the usb charger/outlet. Front desk staff was friendly, and the common areas were clean. Breakfast food and staff were great. For those with dairy and gluten sensitivities, there were options: (egg white omelette and hard boiled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, potatoes, fruits)

We have stayed in this hotel several times and enjoy the staff of the atmosphere and the comfort rooms as well as the convenience of a quick breakfast. Those some of the rooms still need repairs overall it’s a great place!

They could still refund me. Expedia said they could and were trying to help me but owner of hotel refused to be flexible.

The people were super nice and helpful, super polite, i wish they worked at a better hotel. The pool smelled like a dumpster and i thought we'd get an infection swimming in it.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but it was an older hotel. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower. The complimentary breakfast was a full service breakfast with many options. Overall, I would recommend this hotel based on price, cleanliness, and comfort.

Staff was excellent, room was clean tho showing signs of age, room layout was perfect for us, location so near Sutter Med was great. But...it was about the noisiest place we've ever stayed. Road noise was horrible. Maybe poorly insulated because of the age of the building? I would stay again but definitely ask for a room as far from the street as possible.

The pool is an unheated outdoor pool. No hottub. But all else was fantastic.

The stay was ok, it wasn’t great. I had paid for one queen or one king bed. Instead the hotel gave us two queen beds. A king bed was available, in which we wanted. I had payed a higher rate to least get a better bed previously. Instead we got a lower rate room with two queen beds. The hotel clerk said no king bed was available, but there were king beds available. I went on their website and a room with a king size bed was available the same day we were staying. The hotel was not honest with us and could have done better.

There were some minor upkeep issues with our room: torn window screen, torn window shade, side of bed wall lamp had its shade improperly replaced and the shower door handles were loose.

The morning breakfast was very good. The woman staff of the breakfast room and food was just excellent. She was very friendly and very helpful. She made sure everything was clean, food always hot, tables were always clean and very helpful. It was the best part of staying at the hotel. Also the front desk was excellent. When we were there two different men were staffing the front desk and were both excellent. The noise. One night the people above us were very busy stomping and running in their room until very late hours. The traffic noise was also loud, but I know that has nothing to do with the hotel…is a location issue.

When I first walked in, I was impressed. The property itself is beautiful and the location is great. However, it did take quite some time to get in touch with a manager, despite leaving several messages a month in advance regarding a very important matter. I was traveling for business and had to bring my mother with me, who was recovering from breast cancer surgery. Because of her condition, I requested a late checkout and made it clear that I did not mind paying any additional fees. Unfortunately, no one initially returned my calls. I eventually reached someone through Hotels.com, who was kind and helpful and confirmed a 3:00 PM late checkout for a $50 fee. That part was handled smoothly. Upon arrival, I double-checked the late checkout details with the front desk agent, Jules, and she confirmed everything was correct. However, there were issues with our room assignment. We were mistakenly placed in a king room instead of a two-queen room—twice. Thankfully, a kind young man corrected the issue and got us into the appropriate room. The kitchen staff, especially Veronica, was wonderful—kind, professional, and amazing. On my final day, I again confirmed with staff that our checkout time was 3:00 PM. I explained that I would be unavailable due to business commitments and needed my mother to rest uninterrupted. I was reassured everything was in order. Unfortunately, I later returned to find that my mother had almost been asked to

We stayed in room 111 a the roof had a leak in it and the room smelled like mold. I reported to the first desk and the wrote in down for the manager in the morning. In the morning I walked to the front desk to speak about this and was giving a call and said they couldn’t do anything about it since it was booked on Expedia and that I need to speak with the General manager Ruth. I’ve called several times and left a message and no one answers the front desk line.

My only complaints were the sticky door hardware. Ours was very difficult to open. These should be either adjusted or replaced (soon). Secondly was all the noise. It sounded like our hotel wing was having a door slamming contest at 6AM in the morning. All the door slamming was very irritating (and almost a little comical). If not all the noise, we would have had a restful stay. Unfortunately we did not.

Booked a king room on booking. Pre paid. Went to hotel an hour and a half later and there was not a king room available. They said they couldn’t refund me and would have to wait to work with booking. It is almost a week later and the charge is still pending on my account. And it was a kick in the face because we had made the res as we left our dying mother at the hospital and needed a room. Instead we had to drive over 2 hours home after midnight.

There were ants everywhere in my room upon check in. I was forced to move rooms to a room that didn’t suit the needs of my family. Very little was done to accommodate this inconvenience.

The hotel overall is really rundown - it’s surprising Holiday Inn allows their name on this place! Peeling wall paper, a suspiciously jerky elevator, the overwhelming smell of fabuloso… Not ideal for most travelers. The woman at check in was very unprofessional, but later there was a younger woman who had EXCELLENT customer service skills and looked more professional as well. The housekeeping staff was also oddly rude. HIE must have bad management if the employees are so unhappy. Breakfast was not very good as others have said. The 24/7 coffee is helpful though. The TV should be able to connect to a phone for streaming but no luck getting it connected for me. Parking was acceptable. You could easily walk to a few restaurants or the walking trail next to the property. I wouldn’t stay here again but if you had to, it wouldn’t be the absolute WORST option.

Great location without all the traffic of other hotels. Pool was always cleaned and ready for use and the rooms were new and cozy. Pillows were amazing and the water pressure was enough. Staff were great.

We stayed one night to attend a party our rooms were clean, check in was easy and front reception staff was welcoming ..we enjoyed having the continental breakfast and having such a nice, kind staff member Veronica making sure our breakfast needs were met. Front desk was wonderful. Especially the young lady. She helped me decide what to do with my 19 year old son for Halloween night. We liked the location of the hotel. Very clean inside and out. The room was perfect. We’ll definitely return in the near future

The only issue I had was when I needed a late checkout. I asked if I could check out at 12 p.m. since I had to conduct an interview for my company, but I was told it wasn’t possible because the hotel was fully booked. I even asked if I could stay until at least 11:30 a.m., and they still said no. When I checked online, I noticed there were still plenty of rooms available for that day. Because of that, I had to take my interview call from the parking lot of the Holiday Inn. Even with that small issue, because of all the work I had to do in Sacramento, I ended up staying an extra day. Other than that, everything else was excellent, and I’ll definitely be back!

Cost a bit overpriced at 300.00 a night.

The breakfast was great; many options, good coffee also. The rooms were spacious and clean, nice showers/ bathrooms. The refrigerator came in helpful for leftovers, and the staff was able to store our cooler freezies in their ice box at the front desk. Extra supplies of towels and toiletries was exceptionally welcomed. And booking extra stays in the same room really helped.

The bed was sloped inon the right side, and the bedding was not changed before we got there. It had a bad body odor on the sheets and pillow cases. We had to go down to the front desk and get all new sheets and bedding and change it ourselves.

The service on the 800 number was terrible- incorrect info and no interest in helping us.

We had conjoined rooms for three moms and three kids. One of the rooms overwhelming smelled like cleaner so much so that it bothered our allergies. Pretty sure there was also mold in both rooms. The staff was fine but definitely not overly friendly. Luckily we only stayed one night. We left with my asthma which is usually great in California completely flared up and only stopped when we had been out of the hotel for a couple hours in fresh air. I never write hotel reviews but this one needed to be done. I would never stay here again.

I went to check in after we called around 1pm to tell the staff member that we would be coming in late due to a festival going on and apparently the card declined due to a new card and the hotel called while we at the concert without leaving a message I called back 4 min later and phone kept ringing without an answer they canceled our room we are now stuck with no room at 1am not a good feeling

I had a good stay

The best biscuits (and gravy) I’ve ever eaten at a hotel buffet. The rest of the breakfast wasn’t as delicious, but the biscuits were exceptionally fresh and tender.

The shower was amazing. My best friend loved the breakfast. We will stay here again.

More than a week later and they are still holding my deposit for one night stay.

This was the perfect location for our trip. The air conditioning was great as it was hot in Roseville. The staff was friendly and the breakfast offerings were better than most.

Moved room due to the clog and being unable to sleep due to noise. Was treated rudely by Brett at front desk who also charged me $$ for complementary bottled water after I complained about room 214. He wouldn’t look me in my face until he asked for my drivers license to change rooms If you ask for a manger you’re given a card which number rings to the hotel per Brett The new room’s pillows smelled like multiple people and smelled sweaty Horrible stay for the money!!!

Overall the experience was good. One night there was shortage of parking, but the desk clerk let us park near the entrance. We did spot a few ants in the bathroom.

Location of hotel. Quite and close to everything you need. Waterpark, restaurants, and a variety of stores.

The breakfast was great and the water pressure was amazing in the shower. The pool was just about close to perfect. Unfortunately the bed was a hole on one side and a ridge on the other. First night I slept in the hole in my neck went out. The second night I tried to balance on the ridge but still couldn't sleep for two nights in a row. The hotel overall was very well taken care of and maintained. Again the breakfast was very good. Just wish I could have slept

The room wasn't ready when we tried to check in at 3:30 pm. The bed was very noisy when we turn around. The breakfast was cold, scramble eggs and potatoes. Other than that good. Thank you

The person who checked us in was so nice and friendly and was able to honor our request for a room away from the elevator. The room was spacious and clean with minimal road noise (although you could hear vehicles every once in a while). The bed was comfortable, the shower had ample pressure and good temperatures, and the breakfast was really good. We would stay here again if the need arises.

The air conditioner was so loud and the bar lock was broken in door. Parking was hard to find in the evening.

Additionally, they enrolled me in their umbrella companies rewards program, meaning they agreed to terms and conditions using my name and contact info. Again, fraud.

Very close to the hospital

We stayed here during a trip to help our daughter move into a new home in Roseville. The hotel was close to Highway 80 but far enough away that road noise was not an issue. The front desk staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional, especially Ray who was on duty during our check-in. The room was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely come back again when we’re in the area.

At that point the receptionist wasn't there for at least 10 minutes, not even for answering at the phone calls. Finally he arrived and without many excuses he gave us another key.

I had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was super clean, and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the person working the evening shift, he was busy helping other guests when I called, but he took the time to call me back, leave a message, and make sure my request was taken care of. The breakfast attendant was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I usually skip hotel breakfasts, but I was genuinely surprised by how good everything was. Great quality and a nice variety. I’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel is just ok. Not really a gym, just a few weights, and 1 treadmill. Pool was smaller than thought, breakfast was ok. Just a solid ok hotel.

Dirty sheets and ants in room!

The couch in our room had crumbs all over it when we walked in, so we know it wasn’t cleaned well. there’s only a light by the door. We had to use a flashlight to find our way to the back of the room to a lamp to pull a chain on a cord no lights in the ceiling. There was a crazy homeless person at the pool, swearing F words the top of his lungs the for hours and we saw another person from the parking lot come in and go swimming that wasn’t staying there when I told the front desk they didn’t run them off and he was still there that evening and the next morning we couldn’t let our kids out of the room to use the pool. No security or cameras that work and the staff at the time allowed it we had to check out and find a room somewhere else for the next night

However, the pool is not heated, and the bacon breakfast I was so looking forward to was replaced with sausage links! Good quality, but not bacon!

Traffic was so loud

Overall, this was a comfortable stay. The mini frig and microwave were a plus. The room felt spacious. The only downside was the AC unit was a bit loud and at times had a mild musty smell. But it worked well and kept the room cool. We would stay here again.

Breakfast was decent. They offered two varieties of omelet. Sadly, their only meat offerings were both pork. For those who cannot eat pork (allergies, dietary restrictions, religious reasons), there were no other alternatives. In the online photo, it showed turkey sausage. No such luck while I was there. Instead of a waffle iron, they have a pancake maker. It was quick and two pancakes were provided with each push of the button.
