This place needs a major overhaul

Our toilet handle was broken. Flushing the toilet should be in the routine for house keeping. Kitchenette was out dated. It was doable for our one night stay but wasn’t worth the money we paid, we did not even offer any discount or comps for our next visit at any of their hotel chain. It was late and someone dog was barking really loud for a while.

Amazing staff, great customer service and always a clean room.

The location was decent. The room had a slightly moldy smell. The bed was clean and the kitchen.

The staff was very helpful and happy to be of service. The room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable.

As a result, you may receive only a partial refund even though you were unable to stay there because of their mistake. In my experience, this place handled the situation very poorly and cost me both time and money.

Over all good bang for my buck, and it was nice having a fridge/freezer at my disposal. I always suggest an upgrade to smart TVs, as well, so guests can just screencast or airplay with their cell, who wants to watch tv with commercials anymore? Lol

I didn’t like anything, the check-in took a half hour to check in. The breakfast was a joke. There was no coffee. The person above me was up all night yelling TV loud and walking all over the place pounding on the floor. The facility had cigarette butts and dog crap all over the place. The overall experience was just very poor and my bed was broken so I like nothing about this place. Everything, my bed was broken. The facility was dirty. The staff was very rude and poor and behavior. Homeless people all over the place will never come back.

This is a very bare-bones place. It’s a budget. Make no mistake about it. I only stayed one night so I was given a room with zero amenities not even a cup for the bathroom sink.. the bed was a mattress on top of a metal frame, no boxspring, despite that it was actually very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The area in which it is located is good because it has good access to the freeway and to shopping and if you’re staying for an extended length of time and you’re on a budget this should be a decent place to stay..

The property was in a good place near where we wanted to be. Alas the staff needs more training. It’s so discouraging to have to back to the desk because the room key was not programmed correctly. She also spoke so quickly and quietly I had to ask her to repeat herself.

Good location in a great neighborhood of Roseville.

The clientele were a little eclectic, and the rooms were in need of some updating. The best part of the room was the water pressure and warmth of the water in the shower.

Difficult check-in (20-30 minutes!). Dirty carpet in lobby and room. Carpet in room smelled like wet dog. Window looked over pitched roof. You have to go to front desk to check out anything/everything, including toilet paper. Even Motel 6 offers decaf coffee. Staff were nice but unhelpful.

The facility is dirty and has a weird smell. There isnt someone at the front desk the whole time they are always in a back room. The lock on my door didnt work so I had to rely on the swing latch. Safety concern. I wont be staying here again

The customer service was horrible. My key flopped didn’t work. I got locked out of the hotel. Met a a young lady on the elevator she said she felt unsafe and that the place felt weird to her. I asked for Internet Wi-Fi password was not given. I called staff downstairs to obtain it. No one answered phone. Was never told about the benefits on staying or any extras like breakfast. Poor communication skills through front staff. But day staff was a lot more friendly and kinder and more welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend to check in at night.

They had a room for us. There was shelter. The towels felt like Brillo pads. Didn’t really wanna take my shoes off. What you would call bedding was pretty much a joke. No one in the square block radius respects the quiet hours, let alone inside the building, and I was unable to get any sleep. Smelled like weed. The “breakfast” is not. It’s a vending machine muffin and diy oatmeal. The check in lady was kind.

The room cleanliness could have been better! Was not told there was not a hair dryer in the room. The latch lock on the door was not latching properly which left me feeling unsafe the first night and second night, when I arrived, there was a man that I thought worked there since he directed me to more parking in the back, then when I went to check in he was speaking to the front desk clerk she was asking me questions I preferred not to answer aloud but I tried to speak quietly. I had to go put my parking pass in my car and was told security was outside walking around, I did not see security either night! I made my way to the elevator and just when the doors were about to close he got into the elevator and asked me for my personal info and asked me if I needed help to my room I again told him no then he shouted out his room number and when I looked back he was gone! The next morning there was coffee and blueberry muffins to grab yeah coffee was not good so I didn’t bother with anything else. I mentioned to the clerk in the morning that someone was smoking in there room he said he didn’t smell anything but when you might get a contact high walking down the hall yeah you can smell it! The air conditioner was a waist of time. The second night I just hoped the dude from the previous night wasn’t there! I was there to be close to the hospital it was short notice I hope next time I’m able to pick wiser.

Our room was not cleaned and we were checking in at 6:30pm at night. The front desk had multiple people waiting due to the same issue and one person said that there were no sheets on their beds and handed them a set to put on themselves. We cancelled and went somewhere else.

Actually, I got there just over an hour early. It would have been nice if I could have checked in at my time of arrival. I could have used a bit of a nap before my event after driving most of the morning.

The room lacked nightstands and dishes. In earlier stays, there were always pots, pans, and dishes available. This is my second stay at Extended Stay in the past six months, and I’m disappointed that these basic amenities are missing. I’m not sure what has changed with the chain.

The room was okay. There is still a little hole on the wall. Free breakfast are muffins, snack bars, tea, and of course coffee.

Person at the front desk was very nice and friendly. It was loud, people coming and going. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night from someone cooking and not turning on the fan.

He was very kind and explained to me to watch my account and my deposit should be back in my account in about 2-3 days from that day.

If you do plan to stay there the only thing in the rooms are 2 little bars of soap and 2 plastic cups so if you need shampoo you have to ask the front desk.

When we asked at the front desk, we were told that there's an ice tray in the freezer in the room. However, we would have to fill the ice tray with water and wait for it to freeze in order to have ice. We were hoping to have a cold drink upon arrival, but instead we had a lukewarm drink. Was very disappointed overall and would not recommend this place at all.

I walked next door to get some drinks at the gas station and there were a lot of homeless people next to the hotel side entrance and up and down the street. The hotel is pet friendly so the elevator, and room, had very strong smells of dogs. The elevator smelled like a litter box.

This hotel was so gross. Right when I walked in there was a slap in the face smell of musky wet mildew. It seemed so stale in my room like no one really stayed in there. The remote on the tv barely worked as well. I had to press and hold the button I wanted until it worked. Took about 20 minutes to flip through 10 channels. Will never stay here again.

Our main double window in our room, however, had a 3" x 4" hole in the curtain backing. You could only notice it during the day. It needs to be repaired/replaced. Info cards in our room talked about the kitchen set a guest may borrow, & later in our stay we did ask for one. We were asked if we could wait while another one was being sanitized. We replied yes.

I paid $125 for a room through Expedia. When I reached your location, a security guard was managing the desk and he could not pull up my reservation, I paid another $104 directly to your hotel. He assured me I would get my Expedia credit. That did not happen. Expedia has always worked well for me, this is the second time I've been double charged because a hotel does not know how to transfer my reservations from you directly to them. I pay less going directly to them anyway, if I need to deal with this, I'll just stop using Expedia

Outdated and dirty hotel. Took a 100$ deposit and never refunded me. Checked in on a 7 day stay and left because of the conditions of the property on the second stay. You get what you pay for.

It was equivalent to a motel. "Signs for accommodations" but when I called the front desk I was asked to pick them up myself. Breakfast was cheap single wrapped muffins and packets of oatmeal. I would much rather pay an extra 20 dollars a day for better service.

We booked a room with two beds. Unfortunately, they did not have a clean room available for us when we checked in at 7 PM. Instead, we were given a king size bed for three people to share. The floor, where our room was located smelled like fried food because somebody had cooked in one of the room kitchens. Overall, the hotel was dirty and I would not staying here again.

The room also was not what I saw online. A lot of repairs were needed. The closet area had holes in the walls and just the bottom part of the closet was what was left. I think the top part might have fallen off of the wall? It was not what I saw online.

This day was OK. They upgraded me because they had no choice and they charge me for it. Other than that I have no complaints. It’s mediocre nothing special.

I was on a overnight business trip. The first room they gave me the key did not work. I had to try it twice then I told them just give me another room. There was no room service had to go and get my own dishes from the front desk.

This property is in desperate need a deep deep cleaning. The only good thing about my room was that the bed sheets were decently clean, but the room and the hotel itself is a smelly dump. The chair in our room was so dirty I had to put it out into the hallway because it looked liked someone literally had an episode of explosive defecation on it. The hallways smell like dirty gym socks and sweat. The hygiene level is so very poor. It is a shame because the location is ideal for shopping and eating. It could be a great place, but it needs to be cleaned desperately. It is gross. The only think that saves it is that the staff is very friendly. The phone in our room didn't work, the clock on the night stand was not set, there was 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 guests. On the outside it was like an ashtray with cigarette butts all around the building. I will never stay there again.

Nearly all door locks were tampered with, our door wouldn’t lock unless you lifted it while locking and then only half of the locking mechanism worked. Complained about other tenant noise every single day and nothing was done about that. Burn marks and strange smells. Free breakfast was only oatmeal packets and granola bars

We had a reservation and our party got there after midnight and they would not give us a room. How do we go about getting a refund?

We made a last minute reservation without checking reviews first so there were some surprises... service at the front desk was difficult to access. Also you MUST have an ID for each adult in each room, not just the one paying. The cleanliness was okay. The furniture was very run down. The office chair had so much visible dirt and other mystery substances on it we couldnt set anything on it. There were ZERO toiletries in the room but you could request them from the front desk. No one answered our calls. I eventually headed down to the desk with my list of needed items such as: a coffee pot, coffee, creamer etc, utensils, cups, and 2 extra pillows and toiletries. They didnt even give us cases for the pillows. The expectation was since it was an extended stay suite they would already have the basics stocked in the room, which wasn't the case. The freeway is right there so noise levels are up. There also were a couple of rooms with barking dogs in them.

We stayed here for a week with our dogs and it was clean, the staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Our non-smoking room reeked like cigarettes. The bedding smelled like cigarettes too! There were burn marks on the bathroom sink. I’m pretty sure the smoke detector was brown due to the smoke. We asked for a different room and were told there weren’t any available. They didn’t have air fresheners either. Slept with the window open to try to air it out. Pillows and bed were not the best, almost like a pull out mattress, very uncomfortable. Water damage in the bathroom. When I booked it said breakfast was included. The breakfast was either a pre-packages muffin or nutri-bar. I will never stay at this hotel chain again.

The Check-in was the worst experience. Their Wi-Fi was not working and they could not check me in and ran me late for my 40th birthday reservation dinner due to this issue. The furniture in the hotel room was so beat up it felt unclean

I should have take it as red flag when Expedia called me to tell that this hotel is canceling my booking. My friend and his family is also staying so I told them we have to stay in this hotel. We checked in and when we went to the room, the housekeeper is still cleaning the room so we have to wait in the hallway for 20 mins. Then my friend who checked in after us was told by the front desk he will call him for late booking since the room is not ready yet. When he didn’t get a call and showed up in the hotel. The front desk said they’re fully booked and that there’s no room available. How could you do that to your customers who booked ahead of time. Beware this hotel overbooked. You might end sleeping in your car which my friend and his son did.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. We arrived on Saturday evening and got checked in (they asked for ALL ID’s for those staying in the room, which no other hotels have asked us for). Went down the road to eat, then got back to the hotel and into bed. At midnight, an individual had a key to our room and was trying to get in. We informed him he had the wrong room. Thankfully it was locked or he would’ve walked right in. A few minutes later the manager and security come pounding on our door. She immediately is screaming at us saying we should’ve checked out and shouldn’t be in that room. As we try to explain we just checked in and they gave us the key to the room that we’re in. She continued screaming and was arguing with us, then threatened to call the cops on us. We told her go ahead and call the cops. The individual that was trying to get into our room was wasted and looked homeless, no way he paid $225.00 for a night. So she demands we bring our ID’s to the front desk. We go up and she informs us their system has us in a different room. I inform her we went to the room we were told to go to, that the keys given to us worked for. We immediately left and drove home. I left stuff in the bathroom accidentally since I was so flustered to get out of that place. We went back the next morning to get our stuff out of the bathroom. As we’re there we notice it’s all homeless people. Multiple vehicles have expired registration. They partner with the state to provide rooms to the homeless.

It's an older hotel with minor damage to the furniture and weird stains on the floors. I stayed for 2 weeks and room service was supposed to come every 7 days but they never did. The room comes empty so you have to request amenities like soap and kitchen utensils. Some lamps didn't work. The full-length mirror was blocked by the dresser and TV that couldn't be moved. It was nice having a kitchen in my room for such a long stay but I probably would not stay here again.

Feel like the hotel has been run down. Used to stay here quite a bit but hotel just seems to need a lot of repairs. I had just one bar of soap in the bathroom no other amenities. Bathroom sink faucet was falling apart and very loose, room smelled old and used

Broken shower head so shower sprayer had to be manually held. When returning to hotel welll begore 9 pm nightly, staff was not at front desk when doors wouldnt open and had to bang on door. Non working electrical outlets. Will never stay here again or recommend

The room we had did not have a plug for the bathtub. The shower was leaking dramatically and spraying all over the room so we had to move to another room. The second room did not have a for the bathtub. The second room did not have a charger for the phone, so we had to remove the charger from the first room and bring it to the second room. The second room did not have any ice.

They charged me again at my arrival plus $100 deposit even though I told them hotels.com already charged my stay and they said they will refund the all the extra charges but they didn’t and the room was dirty and outdated.

Staff was very welcoming , check in was quick and easy. There were no hidden fees or deposits . This ESA is pet friendly yet i did not hear dogs barking constantly , walking the grounds there were no doggie messes anywhere . The staff was very quick and accommodating with all questions and needs ! My only complaint would be the stove . I wouldn't call it electric ? Im not sure what it is , it gets extremely hot very quickly and really cannot be adjusted ! I had too stand right over it and decrease cooking time constantly ! Not a fan of this type of stove ! I will say Hotel is clean, rooms comfortable and quiet . The price is very reasonable for all the property offers ! Wish there was an ESA in Sonora California .

House keeping never came to clean thhe room when i was gone

Hotel didn't have my confirmation on file so I had to pay for my room two times, there was a live bug in the bathroom, there was random hairs in the shower & refrigerator. My family was too exhausted to move to another hotel so we made due.
