Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are frequent complaints about the lack of refrigerators in the rooms, the cost of parking, and issues with the shuttle service. Some guests also mention outdated facilities and problems with the air conditioning or heating.

everything was good. the only thing was that I was not able to check in early. the location was clean and close to everything, and the staff was very friendly. I will be back next time I travel to Chicago.

What turned me off the most about this stay though, is the price gouging for pretty standard amenities. Need WiFi? You’re going to need to fork over $9.99 / day. Even the 2 small bottle of waters in the room are priced at $3 unless you enroll in their loyalty program. Luckily we found free filtered water in the gym. Positive: They do provide a free shuttle service.

Granted it was a very busy convention weekend, and the hotel construction may have influenced this, the hot water in the room was very spotty. No microwaves or fridges in the room either was disappointing.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the hotel is clearly dated and worn. They are undergoing a renovation, but our room was one of the older ones. The room was still fine, but the sink water pressure was very low. They did offer to have an engineer look at, but since our stay was so short we didn't bother with it.
- 4/5
The room was in a good location for my boyfriend and I to get to the convention center across the street. The trip to and from the airport on our arrival and departure is a great location. For Anime Central we have been staying in the Hilton since 2022! N/A

- 3/5
Noisy under construction, old in need of updating bath products and amenities are horrible. No extra anything, and all in large built in containers anyone can tamper with so I had to buy product for my stay. Had 12 rooms all billed to me and received no receipts for any of them. Billed rooms to those I had already paid for. Just a bad Hilton experience altogether
- 2/5
The property is under construction so ALL DAY there is power tool noise from two floors above my room and ZERO quiet to make calls or watch TV. Don’t stay here unless you are out of your room all day. It starts at 8 am and goes til 6 pm. The hotel should really do something for their guests to compensate for the disruption. You seriously can’t think and the noise is very nerve wracking to constantly have to listen to. Horrible stay
- 3/5
Stay was just okay. The room I was initially assigned had no thermostat control and the heating system was pumping way too much hot air. (It had to be over 80 degrees.) It was also not very clean and worn down. I’m grateful to the staff that took steps to correct the situation, but it didn’t occur without some convincing (and really pleading) that the accommodations were not acceptable for anyone. My next room was an improvement, but the hotel is showing its age and they’re undergoing a renovation. Might be willing to give it another chance after the reno.

Beautiful, clean, nice rooms, great bar & starbucks

Close to the airport with a shuttle, can recommend if you have a short stay near the airport
- 5/5
If we end up in Chicago for a stat again, we are coming back here! Thanks so much!
- 1/5
Parking is $40 no negotiations, I felt bamboozled because I had already booked the room and parked. Don't add on breakfast. I pre ordered breakfast through expedia, 2 people for $43 and we were offered eggs choice of bacon, sausage, potatoes, and toast. The breakfast was so whack for $43 never again!

Second time staying here.

The room was extremely hot and very outdated. The staff was not friendly and didn’t have any solutions for the hot room except for a fan that didn’t help at all. I asked to speak with a manager, and none was available. I would give this place zero stars if possible.

The staff was outstanding. The room was very clean. The hotel was a little cold and it could’ve used vending machines on each floor.

I was given room 710 and I got all unpacked, I had had surgery 2 days prior so I got everything all put away and was sitting in the room freezing after 3.5 hours I called down and told them I am freezing they said they would sent uop a portable heater they never knocked on the fdoor so I waited at least 1.5 more hours and i went to go down stairs and I i opened my door and it was this tiny thing, so I plugged it in 3 different outlets and none of t hem would start this heater it was 8 degrees outside and it was so cold in that room, Ibrought the heater down and the man came to my room and said my motor was broken from my furnace in my room , he then got me a different room but I had just had surgery 2 days prior and he left me to go pack up my stuff that I had already unpacked. so I had to do it all again and I got a room with heat finally,, Then I was trying to do some work, my laptop and tv went down not just mine Everyone's for like over an hour, it was so annoying and boring to have silence, I went down and told them this is not ok, they offere me points, I don't even use points, I don't travel that much so not sure what will help me but they did not care I had been miserable for 4 hours. I had to a busy time, restaurant wasn't bad just pricy and didn't have much to choose from and the christmas decorations were nice, Shower had great pressure and my bed was very comfortable. when things were working they were great. I would have been great to have some help to move.
- 3/5
The room and staff were extremely friendly, but I specifically requested a room with a bath so I could soak my leg after a surgery. There was absolutely no water pressure when it came to the bath and the drain wouldn't close all the way. For how much I paid I feel like I should have been able to take a bath

They gave our King room away as our flight came in later in the evening. Ended up on a double murphy bed in the most empty bizarre room ever. Giant garbage can and tiny side table. No remote for TV. Nowhere to sit or eat. No mini fridges to hold leftovers. No microwave. Didn't have coffee machine or even drinking glasses. We did complain next day because i paid for a King room. They did some switching and did get us into a king room, however no bar or handsoap was kind of weird. Did get a coffee machine and drinking glasses, but still no microwave or fridge. Service and location are good. Just a disappointing first night after traveling all day and not being able to relax properly due to no amenities in bare room. No refunds or coupons were offered to reimburse me for first night of Hell.

What we enjoyed the most was the staff in the dining room for both dinner and breakfast. They were so pleasant it made our night and morning. The drinks and food were great too.
- 4/5
Staff was great and they brought up a fridge when we asked. Very nice hotel but there was no temperature control in the room and it got very hot even in October.
- 5/5
Good hotel close to airport, with free airport shuttle, 7-10 min away. Quite convenient

What I didn't like was the fact that I wanted to extend my stay but I had booked through a third party. The rate to extend one day was SIGNIFICANTLY higher and the hotel was not willing to work with me on staying another night. Because of that, I went ahead and got a room at a different, nearby hotel. To me, it is poor business to let a guest leave when they stayed 3 nights at the hotel already and there was a chance for the hotel to get another day of revenue.

Needed a place to stay due to a delayed flight. Made the reservation on Expedia for the Hilton at O’Hare Airport. Walked to the front desk at the Hilton only to find out that I had no reservation at that facility and that there was another Hilton (Rosemont at O’Hare) 3 miles away. My reservation (non-refundable) at that location and would require a shuttle. After 45 minutes waiting for the shuttle we arrived. Check in was fine, nice guy. Told him about the confusion with the reservation and were told “oh, that happens every day”. Great. Outside was dimly lit and appears that it hasn’t seen any renovations since it was built. The drop off/pick up area hasn’t seen a pressure washer in a long time. The furniture was dirty and sticky and not a place you would want to wait for a shuttle or uber. Inside the room, the lack of renovations continues. The smell of mildew is first to greet you when you open the door. Again, dimly lit, dark, carpeted flooring that had a nice slightly adhesive texture to it. The noisy air conditioning unit had dust and spider webs around the ductwork. The small refrigerator, noisy too, resided on the floor next to the desk. In the bathroom, was a toilet fit for a kid. Low to the floor and would barely flush urine. Luckily we didn’t have to test it with anything else. The bathtub/shower combo was on theme too. The caulking around the tub looked like it was done by a child. This place is a dump. I’m out of space or I’d continue

The Hilton & Hotels.com messed up my reservation. Hilton says Hotels.com made rooms available on their website that weren't available. Hotels.com says Hilton overbooked.
- 5/5
I was close to the airport.

Good
- 5/5
Airport shuttle runs every 1/2 hour to O’Hare. No issues. Heated Pool (no frills) 2 fitness gyms too. Restaurant food was good. Walked to AMC movie theatre and mall. SAFE. Though Hilton provides a free shuttle for a 3 mile radius. Every single staff member I interacted with were friendly, professional and personable! I would absolutely stay here again.
- 2/5
Used all my onekeycash for a terrible stay. This should have been a room under $100 at the best. Had we not been on a serious time crunch, we would have relocated. Room was about 85 degrees and the air conditioner would shut off every 5 minutes so there was no relief. Toilet took 5-6 flushes before the water would go down, bathtub was all rusted and nasty looking, and the carpet felt greasy. Coffee pods in the room but only one cup was provided instead of two. Pods were also stale indicating they were not being replaced with fresh ones during turnovers. Very disappointing and Hilton should be ashamed they're charging so much for rooms like this.
- 3/5
The hotel was completely booked up which we learned when we arrived. I reserved our room for my family of four and there were not enough towels for all of us. When I went to the registration desk to inquire, they were very kind but all they could give me was two hand towels and two washcloths. That was all they had left.

This Hilton is located in a hotel district area. Lots is in walking distance including outlet mall, metro and restaurants. The only critique was that the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel never showed up. I shared this with the staff twice. As a Hilton Honors member the least they could have did since I waited a long time (after an international flight) and had to pay for a taxi was a credit for the snack bar or restaurant equivalent to the taxi.

Wonder location. Close to local restaurants

We went for the godzilla convention and staff gave my son a 3D printed godzilla
- 4/5
The check in staff member was quick, and offered helpful information. The parking is way over priced- $39 a day, ended up parking in the parking lot complex behind the hotel, only $15 a day. The room was standard sized, beds were comfy and brought us a roll away for our teenage son quickly. The room did not have a microwave or refridgerator, which is a big deal when you are traveling with children.

Nice property and rooms. Very nice staff!

Staying here was nice, but the wifi was awful. Keeping my laptop connected to the hotel wifi was a nightmare. If my laptop were to go into sleep mode I'd lose the wifi connection. To reconnect to wifi, I had to make my laptop completely forget the wifi connection and then re-select it. Sometimes the re-connection would drop my laptop minutes after I just connected it, to get a signal I'd have to re-connect again. I've stayed at the other hotels in the area and this hotel wifi was the worst.

Nice easy stay, and clean !

Noisy bc of airport and train near by. Very expensive parking. Hotel charges $3 for a small bottle of water if u r not a silver+ member...
- 3/5
Very over priced for a mediocre hotel

Will be back. Great experience
- 4/5
We stayed here for a quick layover. The hotel was affordable, clean, and quiet. For a Hilton it seemed outdated though. They could use some upgrades. We ate dinner at the Tavern and it was great! Our waiter was so nice and the food was good. I have a gluten allergy and the were accommodating.
- 5/5
I would stay here again!
- 3/5
The heating and cooling are not changeable in the rooms. Whole hotel is either hot or cold.. if enough people complain they switch it. . i wouldnt have stayed there had i known this.

Starbucks not open at night. Restaurant in hotel had long wait to be greeted or seated. When seated waited a long time to be greeted for a beverage. Ordered food twice and both times the presentation was sloppy, not very tasty and not worth the spend. Tried to hook up Netflix in room and the front desk said they were in the process of switching, so TV was very limited. They did have a shuttle to airport, staff was friendly.

.
- 5/5
Other things worth noting: 1. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but very good quality. 2. My room was clean and orderly, and in decent shape. My only “could be improved” item would be the hand held shower— it was not adjustable and came out in an intense fine stream that I didn’t find comfortable. 3. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and friendly. 4. Chicago is quirky in that there are a lot of expensive hotels way downtown (along the waterfront), and a lot near the airport that are more price friendly, and almost nothing in between. I went with the cheaper option but it is a 40 minute ride to get downtown. 5. All in all, I had a great stay and would go back.
- 5/5

I liked the location and convince of the shuttle service. I didn't like that i got in early and asked an associate to let me know when a room would be available (I waited in the lounge) and he told me nothing would be available to noon, that I just got to come up to the desk at noon and was not helpful about it and it felt like he did not want to be helpful at all. After traveling that was the last thing I expected, especially for my first time at a Hilton Hotel. I wated in the lobby for a couple hours before I noticed others going to the desk and getting rooms early. I was erked by this as I was told absolutely nothing would be available till noon. I went up and thankfully met Bouchiab. He was so kind and could tell I had a rough journey. He found a room for me and was so poliet. Bouchiab definitely made the experience a better one with kindness and willingness to help me. If it wasn't for Bouchiab my first time experience would of been irritating and not make me want to come back. No matter how nice a hotel is service is just as important. I am so thankful again for Bouchiab and it was nice to see him this morning before I left. :)

I just considered very expensive the hotel parking lot. $37 per night. Just too overpriced.

- 2/5
I didn’t like that the parking wasn’t included in the pricing of the stay even though I specifically placed that as an option I also didn’t like that I couldn’t order food and have it delivered to my door but it was understandable I guess due to safety I didn’t like that I had to leave my license with them in order to get a cart to take my things back and forth to the room service wise if it wasn’t in the morning you can tell it was poor it felt as though I was being watched by management just weird all around experience

We were there for a gymnastics competition and every one of the other parents we traveled and booked at the same time with got the double beds, but we did not. The explanation given was that reservations are not guaranteed; ironic? On top of this, our room was a sauna, we set our room to 64 degrees because it was so hot; our daughter took a cold shower to cool down and we could not hang out in our room without sweating. To top it all off, my husband and I had the worst night sleep with our youngest sleeping with us and 4 extremely flat pillows for our family. Simply put, this was the absolute worst hotel stay of my life and I am extremely disappointed that we were treated so poorly. I should be refunded entirely for our stay, not the $50 given for "inconvenience". So if you are traveling here on a "busy convention weekend", regardless of your reservation, you could get screwed like we did.

Could not get me checked, took the staff 30min to get me checked in even though they found my reservation in their system. They had the wrong room in their system. I was booked for 2 twin beds, was given 1 king room. After that took 2min to rebook me into the correct room. The staff was quite nice and friendly i will say that.

Rooms are feeling old and tired and needing freshened up.

The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean, my wife has neck pain, bed and pillows are one of the best I have tried in similar hotels standard. Good quality towels. We didn’t experience any noises, outlet mall and convention Center are walkable from the hotel. Swimming pool is heated and being on the 10th floor, lots of windows allows lots of sunlight which is a plus.
