Motel 6 Rosemead, CA - Los Angeles

We saw at least 4 bugs if not more , in the room during our three day stay. Bathroom smelled horrible. The bathroom curtain smelled awful we couldn’t even shower. There was mildew on the tub and the room looks nothing like the pictures in the description. If I could give this motel a zero star rating I would. Will never come back here and would not recommend to anyone. Housekeeping doesn’t even come in until you leave.

There was no aminities, just 2 small soap from motel6. Besides, they always put 1 set of towels even you booked for 2 beds, no housekeeping since Covid 2021.

Inconvenience for people with disabilities and staff do not care they offers only upstairs room even you requested a week ahead for lower floor room with refrigerator and microwave. They said it’s nit available. Yet they are not trying harder for customer’s needs.

We have been living here for few times, the facilities are getting old now, not clean. Bed is not comfortable. But the price is cheaper than other model, that’s why I pick it for 1 night.

Room was clean and the location was convenient and accessible for someone with arthritis disabilities. The HVAC was easy to operate and there were enough towels, soap, and toilet paper in the bathroom. The bed was lumpy, the springs did not support my back and made lots of noise. It was uncomfortable to lie down on the bed and I couldn't sleep, even with 2 pillows.

Great staff no issues with property besides some roaches in the room. That was the only bad thing. Everything else was excellent with staff being friendly at all times and providing what we needed. Surrounding area looks safe and very convenient with a gas station, a Dennys next to the parking lot and fast access to the freeway

It is Motel 6. You get what you pay for. There were no bed bugs (or any others) in the room. The mattresses looked like they had murder stains on them, but the sheets were clean. It was quiet the two nights we stayed. The pool looked clean, but we did not use it. Hotels and motels charge way too much for pets anymore, so as long as Motel 6 can manage to allow pets to stay for free and not be completely disgusting (just kinda disgusting). I will stay there when I have to.

Easy check in. We checked in at night and did not notice how dirty the room was. Female hair in the bedding, dirty floors, dirty sink and shower. Nice enough to allow me to do early check out as we were supposed to stay another night.

Good area and great front desk people. Ana and Nick were helpful and friendly that made my stay welcomed. Front desk people and cleaning ladies that worked all day long even nights.

First the office staff were friendly and helpful, but the room sucked! Motel 6 Company needs to invest in upkeep and remodeling the rooms. Terrible rooms! The price of $90 per night stay here is not worth it, more like $30 bucks. The AC/Heater gave off a strange sour odor, the heater didn't work, The floors haven't beem swept or mopped. The floors are worn out and lifting from the ground. The shower is cramped and small and the water kept leaking onto the floor even not matter what I did. The toilet was clogged prior or never checked, I had to unclog it. I felt dirty even while taking a shower. The sheets NOT good, yuk! Parking NOT good, you will park far. Usually Motel 6 has decent room, but I think this was the worst room, I have experienced in 40 years. TERRIBLE ROOM!

The staff s very kind and the area is so pleasant. I slept so well actually extended my trip by a few days bc it’s so comfortable. My room did not have a microwave and a refrigerator but that was fine for what I needed. I kept my drinks in my cooler and just got ice from the machine.

Every time when I booked 2 beds, I only get 1 set of towels. By the time I go to the office for request additional towels, not available. If you ever get the towels, they are very old. It doesn't look presentable. They should replace them.

This room comes with almost nothing. No necessities even. Even the spare towels had holes in them.no real access to anything they claim

I have no idea how this place has good reviews. The room was practically a breeding ground for bugs and insects. When I complained, the front desk moved me to a different room, but it smelled so absolutely terrible I couldn't stand it. I ended up leaving immediately without even getting a refund. That’s how awful this experience was. Save your money and avoid this place.

Not the best area. Walking distance to Denny’s and buffet. The inside of the room stinks, staff said it’s coming from the outside. Zero insolation. Can hear the footsteps and bed above us. I had to get my own aerosoles to spray in the room. Table and chairs feels sticky.

When I got to this motel they gave us a room that I have push my mom on her wheelchair around a ramp. Meanwhile all the other ground level rooms was just a straight walk to the rooms with no steps. I was also told that I am unable to park at the handicap spots because I didn't bring my moms handicap tag on our trip. We had no microwave or refrigerator in our room. Theh had roaches in the bathroom ceiling lightbulb fixture and a few that was crawling around the room. The room also had a certain funky odor to it. I definitely do not recommend anyone wasting their money and staying at this motel unless you're totally desperate. It was a horrible stay.

Just do not expect any extra service here. No breakfast, very basic coffee in the morning. Everything which you need is on your own. Over all, I was happy to stay there for 2 days.

The room is very small and the air conditioner is right next to the bed. The air conditioner is seriously worn out and keeps humming when it's working. It's impossible to have a good rest at all!!!

Let me first say the staff are very friendly and helpful it’s just the accommodations were really run down . Worst in my experience at a Motel 6 and I’ve been a loyal customer since before I could talk. If it’s literally just a place to sleep to hold you over just pop in the bed and you’re good to go!

When booking 2 bed in a room, most of the time, they offer only 1 set if towels. This is happening all the times. One if the showe hose was hanging in the shower room. There is no room cleaning g since Covid year 2021.

They are short if towels. Even thigh we booked 2 bed with 2 people, still give you one set if tiwels and you have request for additional set.

No house keeping, booking for 2 beds for 2 people only gave me one set of towels. This happened very often. No one answering call at front desk around 1:45 a.m., when try report the loud music on 4/1/26, rang for multiple times, no one answer the call. When asking for clean towels, they always ran out.

We got a horrible room at first, super old, dirty, smelled as cigarettes, he furniture was all messed up, we ask a room change, the second room wasn't that great either, but I didn't smell bad at least, it was dirty, hairs every where, was a disappointment, I trusted the reviews, what a scam, first super bad experience with a stay

We requested non-smoking and the room smelled of stale cigarettes and smoke; it was a very overwhelming smell. One of us had a bad asthma attack. The room was filthy, we booked 2 nights and stayed one. I took pictures; there appeared to be feces on the walls, curtains, and food. The sink had blackmarks and the toilet lid and seat had been chewed on, I am guessing a dog. That is just some of it. I was afraid to go outside to the office to let them know and get the roomed changed. Bad neighborhood and towels for one, though i booked it for 2 with one handicapped person. Worse night of my life.

front desk ladies are nice and let us check in a little earlier, room was clean and bed was comfy, the shower couldve been cleaned a little better and wifi didn’t work on the tv but it did have cable which was nice! plenty of parking and there’s a dennys in the same lot as the motel so that was super convenient! As this was a last minute trip, the motel 6 was perfect for what we needed and I was able to bring my dog for free and also there’s no deposit!

The room was dirty they didn’t do A good cleaning. Pillow case had blood on it and it wasn’t ours. One the beds had dirty sheets and than we found a baggie that had drug residue in it. Told the front office and they were no help. Just said we will tell our manager about it and he’ll call you.

Was deceived by the rating. Absolutely terrible experience. After checking in, the first room offered had stains and hairs on the sheets. We returned to the front desk to exchange rooms, only to open a room that was already occupied with luggage present. We tried again, three times, each time opening a room that wasn't cleaned after the last guest (ruffled sheets, trash not taken out, etc.). We finally found one that was only mildly stained, spent the night and cancelled the rest of our reservation to book elsewhere. We were willing to accept the last-minute rebooking price hike because this location was that terrible.

The parking was safe. The room was ok, only it would be better if the pillows were fluffier and harder. The room could use a new mattress, this mattress slumped when you lay on it. Also, I got bitten by some kind of bug.

Amenities were not provided. Only one towel kept in the room for 4 people. Had to go and ask for towels and we have to change towels / sheets ourselves by taking them to the front office. Even rubbish bins were not emptied. Wash basin was blocked and when complained I was told there is no maintenance person and they had only provide a plunger to do it ourselves. One of the beds had just blanket and a fitted sheet with no flat sheet in between. Microwave in the common area was not maintained well, always dirty with spilled food. No paper towels to cover food or clean. Never stayed in a place like this. Very bad experience.

Stayed here coming from Michigan until my apartment was ready. I paid every day, never any trouble. They basically put us out with nowhere to go and did not care that we weren't from here with nowhere to go. They waited by my room and kept calling as I was moving the stuff out rushing me. Spent over 2k staying there for the time period, and I'm disgusted. The manager Christina said we can only stay 14 days at a time after we’d been there a month…another couple I asked before I had to leave said they have been there 2 years and didn't have to check out. The rooms are mid, showers don't work that well, microwave kept going out, power went out one night. Not to mention a girl was staying there selling d***s and pi**s and said she was selling to the manager as well. It’s fine but I won't be back, and for visitors ill direct them to other businesses. You don't get housekeeping, so I bought cleaning supplies. Honestly for the price just go to a Marriot or Hilton, at least there's a chance you won't have to deal with nasty attitudes, broken utilities, and drugs being sold.

Horrible !!!! It should be shut down! I think it was honestly a homeless camp. The bed was horrible and caved and should be replaced . The toliet still had fecal in the toliet from previous. When we asked for towels the second night we were there we were told they had no towels. The cable was cut off the second day in.

The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that there were some shady people on site and smoking weed in corners and hallways.

I've stayed here a few times ... The cleanliness has gone way down . So many animals there . Right when I entered my room . The floor was covered in dog hair . Under the bed . In plain site . Shower had hair all in it .... probably last time I stay there .

I guess this motel is ok if you are just staying one night. The motel doesn't offer housekeeping - guests who are staying longer than one night are expected to carry their dirty towels to the office for fresh towels. Bed sheets are not changed. The room didn't have a portable fridge. I was staying for several days and no conviences of any kind were provided. There are too many better equipped motels in the Rosemead area, I won't be going back.

I made the reservation for 2 adults and I got a handicapped room with a full size bed. Very disappointed.

The first room was so bad with broken floors. The second room was good, but no lock to the bathroom. The shower was so small, not comfortable to shower at all. Coffee is only in the morning. Less towels and need to come to front desk for towels, very inconvenient.

Both parking and laundry are great amenities when traveling to this motel 6. Room is always clean and staff is always helpful.

We stayed 4 nights at Royale Inn. Very satisfied with the room. Spacious, and clean. The hotel staff, Tiffany and others, were very pleasant, and helpful. Will definitely come back.

The pictures look nicer than the actual room or motel itself. It's good just to have a place to sleep. The TV wifi wouldn’t work nor could I switch the HDMI to my firestick. Overall not too bad.

We stayed here for 5 nights and on 2nd day we returned all linens including the plush blanket, and when i asked where is the replacement for the plush blanket they told me there is none and told me to turn the heater on. Typical experience for a relatively cheap motel. The walls are a little thin so it's easy for sound to go through. Some sounds can be heard at night through the walls.

Yikes, I hope we weren't ingesting mold spores. I'm not above staying places that are not the best per se. Very rarely do I ever have to leave a negative review. A room smelled like it had mold had been wiped down and repainted. The air conditioning unit made the room muggy and sticky. We actually had to check for bed bugs because everything else seems so questionable. We noticed that it had a mattress cover, and that was good enough for us. Because we were exhausted; so far wee're not itchy, LOL The room had three curtains.Two of the panels were knockoff blackout curtains; the third panel, the center panel was like a thin sheet. We could hear the neighbors next door channel surfing;tose are some pretty thin walls. We normally have a decent experience with this hotel chain, but wow, this one could use some improvement.

M6 Rosemead is a very good property and rooms are nice and clean.

Room was clean & did not smell weird or anything. No shampoo or conditoner or body wash for travel in the shower. Shower is small, no bathtub.

Location was clean, we used the pool also and it was very clean. The front office does towel exchange and no room cleaning. The bad thing was you must exchange towels before 8pm and when I tried at 3pm they were out at that time.

The property was nicely maintained. The pool was crystal clear and nice and cool on a hot summer day. The staff were courteous and helpful.

2 The mattress is in poor condition!! The coil springs almost come out to the surface, and hurt my back!! 3 The staff didn't tell me they changed the Wifi password daily. 4. The dog next door was barking from 6 am until I checked out at 10 am.

Bugs in the room no iron or ironing board. No wash soap or hair shampoo.

Front desk is really friendly and professional. Facility is clean and parking isn't a problem. Definitely my go to , for a budget friendly stay. Plus, they've got a nice little dog run out back.

It was great

Mattress was not comfortable, but it did the job. Got this room for a family member who needed a place to stay for (1) night. Front desk was very nice and helpful.

Not as advertised. Room was not modern. Noisy. Lots of lighting outside that filtered into room overnight. Would not give this place over 2 stars.

Very convenient location. There is a Dennys and McDonalds if you’re having some late night cravings. Bed is okay.

I’m in recovery with cancer . The receptionist manager was being rude mad me uncomfortable. I booked the room on the wrong day . She couldn’t help me then I said I’ll just pay for the room and deal with hotels. Com and that’s when she said oh I don’t think you can afford the room it’s too expensive. That was so rude and mean

It was easy to get to. Central to our purpose of staying in the area for the couple of days we did stay.

My Maltese was stolen and the hotel staff lied in the notes saying that I had knocked on room doors which never happened and I had to leave the hotel when I did nothing wrong whatsoever

It wasn't my 1st time. I like it and usually travel clear across town. It's nice quiet and Denny's and a crab shop right there

Everything was great

We’ll never stay in this place again. Do not recommend it. The pictures on the website looks so much better than the place. I booked three rooms for me and my other two coworkers for a meeting we had with customers in the area our first room had dog hair on the bed. We asked to to get a different room they denied it and gave my coworker a towel to put over the sheets would not reimburse us so I ended up losing money and going somewhere else across the street by the mall paid $40 more on each room, but was way cleaner.

Cockroaches broken beds sinks that would not drain dirty uncleaned rooms my back hurts so bad from the bed that sank to the floor tweezers outside fighting smoke smelling rooms unsafe and unclean

Nice little get away well needed

Room 132, reeked of mildew. Mold on bathroom, paint bubbles and some missing paint on ceiling. Took photos. Bed was lumpy and so not comfortable. I advised the clrek in morning when I checked out. I only stayed because I was very tired. Many years ago this was a very nice Motel 6. I stayed on 5/29, the room was fine.

Convenient, affordable, clean, minimalist room with free parking. The staff is helpful and the property is well lit.

Place was filthy, insects crawling on walls and shell bugs on bed. Needles to say- didn’t sleep.

front desk was so friendly and accommodating. check in was fast. room was clean and cold! the pool was very clean.

The office’s staff very nice. And I don’t understand why they didn’t have a person for cleaning room & changing towel & we have to give the dirty towel to the office’s staff for changing the new one by our self.

Although it had been many years since my last visit (1994), I was expecting renovation and room changes. Other Motel 6 are more updated than Rosemead. The mattress was definitely in need of replacement. Great price and office staff.

Good location. Front desk was helpful and attentive. Room was clean, soap and towels were adequate. 2 Pillows were small and not firm enough. Check-in was easy, and plenty of parking.

I live it here

I got no complaints with motel 6, Customer service was excellent, they gave me everything I needed y make me feel at home. It was quiet and safe. It has excellent dining options open 24 hours. Very accessible for parking and walking. We'll definitely book it again.
