The only thing I wouldn't change was not having a fridge or microwave, but we just loved their property. It's very welcoming and compared to other properties for rent, this was perfect for me, for someone who's going to have to come down once a month. I can't wait for next month. The mosaics are stunning.

Everything was decent all around, the carpets are old and ugly but atleast clean.

Internet didn’t work, not only the day I stayed there but in general they don’t have good internet connection according to the cashier. Other than that, is worth the price of the night.

It was located in the wrong address.

When we open the door to go into the room, there’s a heavy, small table that would prevent us of going inside the room with our luggage. The second thing is that why we went inside to shower the water was more cold than hot. The hot water was barely warm. There was only one toilet paper roll that was more than half used already, and the worst thing was that we could not figure out where a very bad smell was coming from, but I think it was the rug that smelled really bad so we kept the air conditioner on at all times to help with the smell, but we need to keep the covers on our head as well as as our body. We did not request another room because we were told that they did not have any more rooms available when we got there.

This is the best deal in Rosarito. Comfortable beds, hot water with strong pressure, super clean and somewhat modernized. Plus the rooms have a/c and a lot of them have beach view!

The blowdryer did not work and when I called if they had an extra one but they did not. Also, the sheets were not very clean because it had some stains and also the towels were old and discolored. Plus, when I first arrived inside my room, it smelled like wet dog, mildew like. I had to use my car refresher to make the room more stay able.

TV works and has premium channels, AC, window, queen or king size bed, can't tell but it was big. No deposit, no key issues, and very big 3 lane roads outside. Now, it's all cement, so noise in the hallways do echo, and they start working early so you won't sleep in after 9 am, but that Mexico for you. Your windows are thin, and you will here traffic in the morning. Nice restaurants across the street.

Room next to main street, didn't like noise... 2 drunk guys fighting next to my room and hallway from 2 am to 5 am.

We weren't expecting it to be as comfy and nice but it was awesome. Very comfortable bed and the rainfall shower with the strong pressure was the cherry on top!

The water was super hot and had strong pressure. The room was huge and fully renovated (it looked so much newer than the hotel did on the outside) and the furniture was super comfortable. ALSO, you can hear the ocean all night long, it's absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe how little they charge in comparison to the hotels at the same price all over Baja California!

We found this little place as a last minute resort to avoid waiting in the long border crossing line. It’s was very clean and secure.

They were not able to find out reservations and made us wait 20 minutes outside in the cold while they tried to contact hotels.com cs. I showed confirmation but still wanted to wait to hear from hotels.com. Finally decided to give us the key and deal with at check out

We checked in really late and we were woken up at 4 am by 3 ladies that were talking so loud in front of our room.

This hotel is actually a motel that also rents rooms by the hour to prostitutes from across the street at the strip club. It is not located where they claim to be located. You CANNOT walk to Rosarito beach from here because it is very unsafe. Please do NOT stay here with women or children as it is unsafe to do so, they will be thought of as prostitutes. I had to spend additional money to stay at the actual Hotel Del Sol in Rosarito Beach, the hotel that they claim to be. Once again, the photos and the location that they [post are NOT the actual photos or the actual location.

This was a nice little hotel close to Rosarito, Popotla, and Puerto Nuevo, just perfect for a get away weekend

El hotel en realidad es un motel, huele a lejía, no pude cancelarlo porque me lo iban a cobrar, queda lejos de Rosarito, hice 35 minutos caminando hasta el centro (porque no me aceptaba ningún Uber o Didi por lo “lejos”), la persona que atendió en recepción fue demasiada pedante y solo aceptan efectivo, en cambio la de limpieza fue súper amable. La cama estaba demasiado dura, pero por el precio, hubiera preferido pagar un poco más (lo que me ahorro en Uber o Didi y me quedo en el centro de Rosarito)

I could barely sleep during my stay here. At three in the morning I heard moaning and yelling which startled me and my 14 year old daughter awake. We did not enjoy this experience and will not be planning on returning here.

Paid $50 on the app, in person is $70. Kind of far from downtown, about 10 minutes but an uber charges $2 dollars so not bad. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. A good stay :)

Horrible experience going to this type of place , I was told to leave the place with no firm reason why when I had done nothing there . My guest for the second room wasn’t even allowed to go into his room . Costumer service was so bad I’d never like to stay at a place like that . People have no personality and don’t know how to assist or serve their costumers .

Arrived at hotel they didn't honor this Wed site. That I payed in full. Call this web site an got transfer around on the phone for an hour. Hung up went some were else an paid with my own money. The place on Google map is the wrong location. It's not across from th el nido restaurant 2 miles down the street were there not much this is place u whant if u whant be across the street from restuarnt8 is del sol inn. This place is in the location of Baja del sol inn claiming to be .I told the web site they need to put the right info .

The girl in the front desk said the check in is only before 5pm, and that she did not have any more rooms available, and I told her we reserved online, in Expedia, and there was not specification of check in before 5pm. She said, then talk to them to give you your money back, she was rude.

hotel did not honor reservations, had to pay 3 times the price in another city Playas De Tijuana. took us 3 hours to find another room.

It was fine - we've stayed here before with decent experience for the price but have noticed that the price has gone up. Nice staff but they don't speak English and do not seem prepared for online reservations. the air conditioning in our room on this trip smelled a bit. There was barely any water pressure. The hotel is old, not sure we will stay again for the new price.

Overall it was good. I was a bit worried that it was going to be gross. But surprisingly it was clean and the service was good.

MOTEL, not hotel. NOT family friendly. CASH ONLY if paying upon arrival vs paying on line. Walls are thin and you can hear "everything" that goes on. Roach infested, not the small kind either. Expensive for location. Would not recommend for long family stay. Keep kids away from remote of TV if you decide to stay.

This place was available on short notice during a big booked up weekend in Rosarito. 4th of July weekend we needed a place and were able to secure a room here during the last week before the trip. The room was pretty much what we expected, pretty big. Not east to find at night because there are no signs off the street. Just look for a big sign that says 250 and that is right in front. Otherwise it was right for the price and right considering the timing of the booking. Expect to pay cash, they do not accept cards of any kind. The lady in front was nice about things, make sure you have a copy of your reservation on your phone because I don't think they have a working computer that can save those things, she had to go off the information that was on my phone.

The place is ok. Pretty clean. The only bad part is the shower. Low water pressure and temperature either cold or scalding hot.

The staff was amazing. Always willing to help and please the customer. My husband and I stayed in the room with hot tub (jacuzzi). It was comfortable and service was great. The girls there work very hard to keep our room tidy when we would head out for breakfast. Heater, fan, hair dryer, double bed, and parking is some of their features. I will be returning here. Price very accessible, only half of what the big resorts charge. Rooms are private and quiet. We loved it!

I didn't expect much for 29.00 a night and I got less. Toilet didn't flush, T.V. Signal was in and out constantly, and no water pressure at all. One thing I would say positive is that the room was some what clean and was close to everything. I never felt comfortable there. It felt real shady.

The room was extremely horrible. I had a hard time checking in due to the fact they rented out my room I had prepaid for, they ended up giving me a room that they typically rent out for 4hrs at a time which tells me it's a prostitution room. I was very disappointed with this hotel. I made a complaint and they took care of me.

It's an ok place to stay. Not too far from Rosarito. I liked the idea of the drive-through lobby. It's the same experience you get when you go to a fast food joint or bank, but you're just checking in. You can park off to the side or go a bit further for the carports with curtains. I decided to park my car in a carport and drew the curtain in. The room was standard fare. The bed was hard and the room I got faced the road. The road noise was unbearable during the day. I used a pair of earplugs, but only managed to get some sleep since Mex 1D apparently gets a decent amount of use at night time. I originally was disappointed that it wasn't located in the center part of Rosarito, but it worked out in my opinion because it's "outside the action", parking area was located inside the property, its located close to the beach and it's close to the on ramp to 1D north. My recommendation is a "maybe". If you don't care about looks, road noise, being outside the action and just need a place to stay then I don't see what what's wrong.

Horrible the map is incorrect and the hotel that is shown on hotels.com is hotel del sol inn. And the one that's your actual paying for is hotel baja del Sol inn which is 10 mins more of driving and 30 minutes to walking.

To my surprise this place was fine for the purpose intended which was sleep. Dont let the color and location of this place discourage you to stay there. This was the only room available and i was a last minute thing but it turned out fine. Hall in smoking rooms smell smokey but the room itself did not smell at all! Bed and room very comfortable. Best part of it all was the cost,, 23 bucks plus tax,, 27 total!! Can't beat that anywhere! Location not the best but definitely not far at all from all the action,, 5 mins away in a taxi and only 3 buck for the ride. Will definitely stay there again! Very pleased!!

Stayed for 1 night. I knew they rented out rooms by the hour and we all know what comes from that. We arrived around 9:30pm Saturday night had no problem getting our keys. The room was clean, as were the sheets and bathroom. The bed was comfy. This Hotel is NOT for children or bringing your relatives, unless you run in and clear a few flyers for items on sale out the way and do not turn on the TV. Not too many English channels, but there are 3 that are.. OK wow..

Motel is a $3 ride into downtown, be sure to eat at "cunados restaurant" right next door....best birria anywhere. It was our first time staying at this motel.....clean rooms,great price and staff made us feel at home as well as safe.

This motel is clean but is a motel use by hour rate if you know what that means so you see that all they long so hosekiping is there all day and all night so if you have your family with you this is not a good place to be... I wish I would of known this by the time I realized this it was to late because all the hotels around were booked!

terrible!!terrible, inclination! when you see a lady in a jail cell and behind bars trying to help you, there's got to be trouble every day, so we did not stay, it was a a good thing. that rooms were not clean yet at 3PM, we did not go back, cause rooms still look like ladies of the night were there. stincky. all in all we gave these place 0000000. no food, no bar, no market like we were told. Good thing we did had a back. they come up to the plate and had a good time.

Not a clean or nice place to stay. Staff is rude and uncooperative. Place has no elevator and it's two flights of stairs per floor so pack light. Place has a lot of bugs. I also don't like that they ask you to leave your keys when you leave the room. I didn't have anything missing but I knew they were going into my room because they forgot some tools in my room when I was out. Creepy!!!!!!

upon our arrival the clerk was real generous and helpful. Rooms were really clean. The best part (I don't think most ppl know but) was the hidden beach spot behind the motel! It was so beautiful! I would definitely come back just because of that spot and how everything was so chill all around. And the berriria the had next door, the best I've ever had! And even though it's a bit far out of the Rosarito strip taxis ALWAYS pass by I front of the motel and take you there for only 12 pesos! (Approx 80 cents)
