I phoned the desk and was told someone would check in the morning. We left in the morning and I asked for a discount which was denied. The girl at the desk asked how I would know if it was urine and stated, That's unfortunate but it was probably dry by now so it did not matter. No one checked the room. As for breakfast, nothing for people with food allergies.

This place never disappoints when visiting family nearby. Sunny at the Front Desk is the absolute best too. Good breakfast and nice happy hr M-Th free beer/wine and fresh baked cookies.

Great staff! Friendly and helpful. Very clean. Will stay there again It was a bit louder this time but that’s because there was rugby teams staying for competitions. Otherwise it’s always been a pleasant stay. And have stayed there multiple times already.

Ever year I visit Illinois and this is my favorite hotel to stay at. Staff are super friendly and it's easy to get around town from there.

The only small downside for us was that the pool was a lot colder than we expected, but honestly, that wasn’t a huge issue because our kids still had a blast swimming and we had a great time overall. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

For my wifes Mother's day gift my wife wanted to get a hotel with our 5 daughters age 12,11,10,6 and 1yrs old for 2 nights so our girls can play and swim and she didn't have to worry about cooking breakfast or waking up early..... well day 1 was good we woke up next morning I took girls down to eat breakfast and bring wife food and coffee so she could sleep in. She ate and we all decided to go swimming and only my wife brought her phone down to the pool area but her phone wasnt charged and ended up dieing bout 30mins before we all were ready to go back to our room to change and go out to eat but...... then our key don't work for the hotel room our cash car keys and phones are in the room except my wife's which was dead the lady at front desk kept trying to get it open but didn't work so after about a hour the baby pooped in her swimmers diaper and all our diapers were in room my wife asked if she could use a charger to door dash some and wipes but they said they didn't have a charger she could use So we wiped her and had to wrap a towel around her for a diaper the.n kids were hungry and started arguing then the lady gave up some snacks amd drinks while we waited for a maintenance guy shift Changed new lady working wouldn't give kids snacks we waited for over 5hrs trying hold a 1yr old who wants to craw amd trying walk so she crying no bottle no food they didn't even tell us room key paid was fixed smh. Spend over $400 for horrible experience we didn't even get discount

Sunny was amazing a perfect host and I loved the fire pit and delicious breakfast. The only downside was that the chlorine in the pool and hot tub were to extreme levels that made your eyes burn. The reason we booked here were for the pool and hot tub but unfortunately they were very uncomfortable to enjoy. Once the hot tub jets were on it was almost unbearable had to stop them after a few minutes. The water was also a bit too green, maybe that’s why they used so much chorine. We did let the front office know and Sunny said he would let maintenance know. Would have given this place an excellent however we will think twice before cooking just because of the pool issue. Hopefully it was just that one time.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. The hotel is surrounded by different restaurants and activities which is a nice touch.

We stayed at this same hotel in November 2025 and the Breakfast included "Turkey Sausage" and it was even shown in the photos on the website & is a BIG reason we returned there. Well, there was No Turkey Sausage, nor was there any Apple or Orange Juice?? The Bathroom fan did not work in room 238, so it steamed up the bathroom. at around 9:10 pm Saturday Night, I called and requested a Wake Up call for 6:00 am Sunday and the guy that I talked to said it was set up. NEVER CALLED, not even a Late call, NEVER RECEIVED A WAKE UP CALL. I'm certain we won't go to any more Holiday Inn joints again. Too much DECEPTION & UNFULFILLED "AMENITIES

A little disappointed in this stay. Thermostat not working, double charged on card, no late checkout again, my kids unable to charge pantry items on room, pantry selection much worse than previously. 😢

booked here due to the advertised heated pool, the pool was not heated. although the hot tub made up for it i guess. everything else was fine. friendly staff, clean rooms

Police kept showing up when we were in the pool. Then they had no towels in the pool room so I went to get some for my kids who were already in the pool. Front desk said they have a situation they are dealing with first and then will put towels in the wash. I asked for bath towels and they said not allowed to give bath towels for the pool. People in the room next to us were having a party. I was downstairs and kids were in the room and one of the times cops showed up was because of them. They were still partying till around 8 in the morning. I called front desk ariun 3am but they never did anything. And we only had 3 bath towels in our room even though there were 4 people staying.

The accommodations were ok, however the elevator had a lingering order of cat urine that was blantly noticeable. I had to cover my nose everytime I was in the elevator.

All staff members were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The breakast selections were great, tasty, and plentiful. The pool and hot tub were a welcome amenity.

This hotel is new but very nice. We will stay here again and again. Beautiful king size bed was comfy. Breakfast was awesome and they had sugar free items that I could have. Great for a bariatric patient. Staff was on point!!!! Thank you for doing a great job and you could tell they care.

Everything was great, but the toilet kept running every 5 minutes until I turned off the water, and my key card couldn't open the side door so I had to go around to the front every time I took my dog out. The room was spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the amenities were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very nice. Room was pretty underwhelming for a "suite with multiple beds." Hot tub was so dirty we didn't even go in, and pool wasn't much better. Really bad smells in and around elevators.

My car was stolen as well as another car was severely broken into but couldn’t be stolen. The staff couldn’t offer any videos. There was staff there all night so very suspicious that no one say or heard anything. The parking lot is small so very suspicious on how this happened without anyone being alarmed.

The kids had a great time in the pool area and as always we loved the breakfast. Although they were a little disappointed that the pancake machine was broken.

everything about my 3 day stay was very excellent!. Have stayed in hotel rooms a lot and this 1 rates right at the top as far as value. Clean, great staff, and just overall at the top. if ever in the vicinity, would drive a little farther just to stay here!

I like the convenience of the area. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are nice. The only negative I was say is there’s always an unpleasant smell when walking to the elevators.

Access to the interstate is 👍, safe area with dining or drive thru options close by. Bed was less comfortable than I prefer but may be suitable for others.

I arrived at 10pm at night. The room looked good. Although, It had a weird smell as soon as you walked in and when I pulled back the covers just to check the bed I found two ants. Everything looked dusty, almost like they didn't wipe anything down. Other than those few things the room served it's purpose.

Pretty early. In the lobby there were alot of teenage kids and they kept getting louder and louder. They wouldn’t stop yelling and they all kept running all over the place. It was very disruptive.

The staff when I checked in were very friendly. The room was clean, spacious, and looked great. We signed up for their rewards program for a free late checkout. However, when we asked about it the next morning , the woman at the front desk told us she can’t allow a late checkout because too many people requested it. She was not apologetic or polite about it. That and the messiness of the pool area and strong bleach smell make me not want to stay here the next time we’re in town.

Only booked this place because of the hot tub was disappointed hot tub wasn’t hot at all.

I took off two stars because I was excited to use the hot tub and unfortunately when I went the hot tub was colder than the pool. Very disappointing. Also breakfast was a bad experience. Only one staff member working to keep up on all the food. Took over 20 minutes to make pancakes. When I asked staff she would not change out the bag. So we had to keep opening it up and resetting to try and get these small little pancake pieces. I believe she was overwhelmed. Please hire help. The room was great.

Huge teenage party held in the pool area , Hot tub and Pool were filled to capacity with teens/kids the entire time . Even tried to go down at 6am and yep kids already in the hot tub . Since this location does not limit the amount of guests allowed we will stay elsewhere

Nobody cleaned our room our entire stay. Dirty cup above the cabinet the entire stay so who knows how long it was there. house keeping the second day took the tip we left and roughly covered the unmade beds but left a wrapper and bottle other was knocked off the nightstand.

Fridge did not work . We asked for a 12pm check out and was told only members get that perk but was not asked if we were members.

My 1at day it waa No Milk or syrup. Pool & hot tub was Awesome. Rooms was ok. Not really spacious. Shower heads was amazing. Soap choice of Dove was wonderful too. Definitely will return.

My 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Romeoville was wonderful.The staff that checked us in was super pleasant and accommodating, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was extra clean and shower had great pressure. They even had full-size built in Dove shampoo, conditioner, Body wash, hand soap, & lotion. So much nicer than those tiny travel bottles. We had early mornings both days and were therefore unable to experience the breakfast service. But the on-site pantry was convenient for snacking too.The only negative for me was the fact that the main parking lot was on h Th e side of the building which meant walking in the cold every time we came and went. (It was around 15°F during our stay.

Stayed for one night because we’re attending a wedding. We were extremely happy with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel. Front desk clerk was also very friendly and helpful. We would stay again if we are in the area.
