Staff was wonderful, kind, genuine, helpful and positive! My bathroom light clonked out before dark. I didn’t bother the staff that night as I was only there one night. They were deeply and authentically apologetic in the morning. I just moved a lamp into the bathroom.

This place is a terrible. The windows which are supposed to block noise are so flimsy. Couldn’t sleep because of noise from highway. Breakfast at this place is a joke. At least they could warm up the scrambled eggs. No sausage, no patties, just eggs and some oatmeal. The elevator is so old, the starting noise is crazy and I almost thought it was gonna crash. We booked here looking at the high reviews but at this point I think those reviews are fake and paid ones. Never going to this place again. Stay away ! You will thank me later.

This is our go to place every time we visit family in the Bolingbrook area. Delicious coffee 24/7 and friendly staff. Breakfast is okay but the eggs and potatoes could be a bit better.

There was a cockroach in our room. My friends in the room had a towel completely covered in someone's hair. The maid just folded it with clean towels. There was almost nothing for breakfast, as there were a lot of people. And there was nothing to eat. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the omelet to be brought. We didn't even have coffee, we had to ask. Usually we stay at this hotel and were satisfied, but this time something went wrong with them. I guess we'll have to change the hotel. And yes, I forgot to say that the pillows are terrible. It's impossible to sleep on them, they seem to be puffing up.

My problem was NOT with the property - it’s with YOUR WEBSITE. I booked this room - I KNEW I BOOKED A ROOM - a couple weeks ago. When I was leaving for my destination, I could not find a confirmation anywhere. I could not remember the name of the hotel I reserved, but I logged on to Hotels.com to see my upcoming trips and it told me I had zero trips coming up. I started to question whether or not I actually clicked the final button to reserve the room. There was absolutely no sign anywhere that I had actually booked this hotel. So I ended up having to sit in the parking lot of the gas station before I left for my destination and urgently book another hotel. Imagine my surprise when this charge showed up.

Great front desk staff and housekeeping keeps the place really clean. They only missed some details with dusting and things like that free breakfast is good. Location is great. Vending machines aren’t easy to work with. Get quarters at the front desk.

It was semi clean

Our first room we were given smelt bad like a locker room. The bathroom was not clean and the bed/ bed sheets had different hairs and stains all over. Our second room was better but there cleanliness need to be improved.

Best hotel out of all in the area it’s not even close

The kitchen door was propped open with large cans of sausage gravy! Yes, that accurately describes our visit in a nutshell. The property appears to be on the decline, with lots of patches and holes in the walls, black mold on the ceiling, and a general sense of disrepair.

Entire stay was awesome…from room to breakfast and friendly staff.

Everything was great except the 7am scare from a fire alarm! Jump scaring everyone out their sleep ~ definitely not a great way to wake up. Front desk said it was from “burnt toast” in the kitchen, which I didn’t see any smoke. Guess it was a excuse so no accommodations would be given out- 2 stars feeling frustrated

Everything was great. I had a room on the top floor. It was very quiet and everything was very clean. I had requested no room service and I left everyday to visit family and came back and everything was right like I left it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful too. It is right off the interstate so it was easy to get to !

This hotel has been a go-to for us in recent years when visiting relatives for the holidays, but the condition of the property has noticeably declined and we will not be returning. The towels, tissue and toilet paper were very rough and we kept stubbing our toes on the raised ledge in the entryway to the bathroom. The hotel is in need of a refresh.

Check in was easy arrive early front desk said room was not ready {it was early) we said not a problem did an errand when we return room was ready very clean hotel and room, will be back.

Friendly staff but the bathroom and toilets needed a good cleaning.

Our cards didn't work when we checked in and it wasn't until the next morning that the new front desk worker got them working. I also wasn't very happy with the front desk agent when I checked in and told him my dog was an ESA and I had the paperwork with me and he didn't believe me so I had to pay the $60 fee for my dog because I wasn't about to stand and argue at midnight with him about it. So beware if you have an ESA with you... they will still make you pay. Our sink was also clogging in the bathroom, and there was leftover food in the fridge still. The best part was the woman who worked in the breakfast area. She was sweet and helpful and so very nice.

We had 2 reservations, the one we reserved for 2 nights, we stayed on the first floor- we rented another room for our son Saturday night, he was on the 3rd floor. It smelled like smoke so bad. It was terrible

The rooms need updating and the room and hall carpeting is really old and dirty. Especially the stairs leading upstairs from the front door. The very nice breakfast has always been quite tasty so that’s a nice perk. The staff is top notch, very friendly.

Everything is fine, but after they changed the pillows at the hotel, it’s impossible to sleep, they inflate, my head and neck hurt, before there were good and comfortable pillows, but now it’s simply impossible to sleep, I’ll probably have to look for another hotel.

There's an overpowering scent of some sort of soap or insense lingering in the lobby and entryway. It gives an instant headache. Although the room seemed clean, we woke up with spider/bug bites on our arms, back and legs. The pillows were completely flat and very poor quality.

Its part of Business district well connected by road 33 miles to Chicago attractions via I-55. Have good eating options in 3 miles and gas stationd. Breakfast options are hot and good. Hotel is decent neat with friendly staff and safe surroundings. Good staying experience for 5 nights. Thank you

It is a decent property no doubt but we were really bothered by this one thing, the parking lot had some random people having a party of some sort. They played extremely loud music, apparently they were having some food, drinks and chatter that went till 5 in the morning which was very disturbing for me and my family. I personally had to call the front desk for someone to take care of this situation which I don’t think was addressed because they took their time to finally end it around 5 AM

Check in was great. Very professional. No coffee in the morning. Area around the coffee was dirty. Out side in the patio area was also dirty. Trash over flowing. Two people working there in the morning. Nothing getting done.

Bathroom ceiling fan is under powered the ceiling show water damaged. Door slamming which was disturbing as well as heavy foot steps from the room above mind me.

The side door is a little iffy with cards when trying to get back in. Other than that it was a fantastic stay and I would stay again and recommend it. Staff was very nice. Hotel was clean and quiet. Pool was clean and nice. Access to ice and vending mechines was great. Parking was great. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and easy access to the express way.

This is my favorite staycation hotel. I am a little sad they are getting more popular causing dates to be sold out and rates to be higher, but they definitely deserve the popularity.

Room had a weird smell to it and carpets not the cleanest. But everything else was good and i was comfortable staying there

The stay was alright and price point is great for the area. You get what you pay for is true with this one. Housekeeping doesn’t do the best job cleaning rooms. There was hair in the shower and toilet from previous guests. The TV stand was moved aside and the power cable and coaxial cable were unplugged from the wall when we walked in. The free breakfast is not good at all, but can get you through in a pinch. This hotel is right off of one of the busiest highways in the area. Windows on the building are old and you will hear loud highway traffic and sirens all night long. Truckers camp out in the road outside of the hotel. Shady people roam the parking lot asking for “favors” like jumping their cars and whatnot, clearly a setup to rob you. Keycard access does not work on the side exterior doors and management acted like it’s always that way. Owners or managers do not care about upkeep.

Great location and breakfast! The Country Inn was clean and met our needs. It could use some light updating. The tub could have been more modern, the towels were worn, some light stains were on the covers, and the toilet seat needed to be replaced. Everything else was great though!

Great atmosphere

This is usually my favorite hotel, but on the last visit I had some hiccups. I paid for a certain room and got the wrong one. I just said it was whatever, but then I went to get into the bed and it was a blood stain on it. I called the desk and they changed my room. The room was smaller, but nonetheless they changed my room. I've stayed at this hotel 20+ times and I have only had this one complaint. So overall, I'd still recommend this place.

I liked everything. It was hair in the tub but overall it was nice.

Overall I liked this hotel, but there are some things I would like to correct. These are the very hard pillows and the fact that during our 3-day stay they did not take out the trash.

Property was well kept and was very clean inside. Staff was welcoming and kind. Breakfast was extensive, lots of options. Coffee, water and hot chocolate in the lobby all the time. Beds were firm and pillows were too but linens were clean and crisp. Shower is narrow with a swing out bar for more space, but was snug. Ample parking options and the pool area looked really great even though we weren't able to use it during our stay due to our schedule. Would definitely stay again.

Solid stay for the price, comfy beds

Really liked the breakfast and i’m a breakfast person. Main courses change everyday and the bacon amazing and sausage gravy biscuits. Would have been 5 excellent all around but we had to evacuate at 630am for fire alarm ( faulty alarm) but fire truck came twice in 30 min so two alarms. I had to drive 6 hours home after our event and i hit no sleep at all. No offer of discount . Another alarm then went off at 10 and i was woke again !

Washroom and shower is dated needs a refresh.

This was a clean hotel. I will return.

Bed was horrible and had stains on the sheets and pillowcases. Hair everywhere on the floor in the bathroom and in 'clean' towels. Peope in rooms next to us and above were up all night. It was overall disgusting.
