    It was so dirty the bathroom was so dirty we didnt want to stand in it so we used the dingy towels. Which got so dirty with one swipe on the floor they were black. Like they don’t clean anything. My ac didn’t work, she changed the room but wanted to check first. I told her I drive 18 hrs to this hotel to relax and she gave me an attitude. She also gave me another nasty room and charge me a deposit for my dog. The pool area is a dump of construction and random tomatoes and corn that they are growing. When while the landscape is un cut and garbage all over the parking lot. Scary and nasty hotel never again!!

    - The Beds were in very poor condition and uncomfortable. - Although the property was advertised as non-smoking, there was a strong cigarette smell throughout the building and in the room. - The towels appeared unclean and had hair on them, raising serious concerns about the hotels hygiene standards. - The customer service was poor, and my concerns were not addressed adequately. The conditions of the hotel did not meet reasonable standards, Front desk and staffing ignored every word you said, and had arguments with everyone stopping at the front desk. Please if you are traveling with Kids DO NOT STAY THERE, its NOT for Families.

    Didn't like anything about this place Paid for the room online ahead of time & took them 45 minutes to find my payment. Room smell moldy. Internet is trash & slow. Phone n their TVs kept losing signal. Water underneath the bathroom room tiles which gave off the moldy smell. Housekeeper key card kept resetting Everyone's door so kept, having to go up to the front office every day to get my key car reprogrammed to my room.Beds uncomfortable and could barely sleep. Her complaints from other customers about their room air conditioning, not working And the property, not willing to refund their money back or switch them to a different room. This hotel had a better review than the Red roof in arlington heights which I don't see how because the red roof rooms were much better And starting to believe that the good reviews for this hotel were A.I.Generated

    Other than this issue of weird chemical smells at night, my stay was good. Great location! Has an ice skating rink just up the road, quiet area but you have the highway just outside so would depend on where your room is located. The hotel staff are great! Do an internet search for “weird chemical smells overnight in rolling meadows”. This issue has been happening for over a year without authorities finding a source. Best of luck to those who work in this area and for the staff + motel guests and residence.

    Neighborhood is super safe driving around and walking around etc.!!! Unfortunately, we did get noisy next room neighbors, violently pounding at 1am cause they got mad for getting locked out so prepare for that possibility. No shower amenities, but its a motel6 what do you expect. I won’t dock a point for that. Things to note, hella sketchy people frequently loitering parking grounds but if you keep to yourself you should be ok. Hotel is decent, staff is nice, rooms are clean, just unfortunate it attracts loud groups of people so I don’t recommend for the elderly.

    One of the better run Motel 6 in Chicagoland area - rooms well maintained to high level of cleanliness and overall the property seems well managed and operated. Housekeeping actually show up and clean the room during your stay - staff are professional and honest. Expectations were exceeded at this location - so well done to all involved.

    Easy to find, friendly staff, low price, comfortable bed Not very clean. No bugs or anything, but blankets had stains on them, there was a cigarette burn hole in one of the blankets, sheets had a couple of minor stains on them. The bath towel was okay, but the hand towels were not very clean- they had hairs on them, I did not touch them. The surfaces were not cleaned well. The curtains were old and tattered.

    They keep property very clean and it's great they allow pets but they need to keep a better watch on pet owners. I brought my pet but I am the few that actually clean up after my dog. Also they want to service room every other day not everyone needs that maybe twice a week.

    They kept my deposit because "the room was messy" which seems criminal to me. I don't travel with a mop, and its not like they have garbage cans for you to use (they do but you can only put small items in them, if they're not already full). I was there for two weeks, and there's no microwave on the whole property, so sometimes when id make food id leave a little mess, but I cleaned as much as I could before I left. There were numerous times my room key stopped working and I needed help from the front desk staff. When I went to the front desk there was no one there and no one was answering the phone so I couldn't get into my room for like 20 minutes. This was like 10pm I dont know why there was no one there. But the worst part is the attitude of the staff. If you dare complain about any of the horrible things going on at the hotel they will make you feel like you have no right to complain or be upset. I dont have a place of my own right now so things are tough, and I currently have no money to my name and motel 6 is keeping my $60 because they didnt feel like cleaning or whatever BS excuse they wanna give to justify stealing. Trust me, stay somewhere else

    It's nothing—just a terrible dump. I travel a lot across the United States, and this was honestly one of the worst motel experiences I have ever had. First of all, I specifically paid extra through Booking.com for early check-in. When I arrived, the receptionist told me I had to pay another $60 for early check-in. I showed her my Booking reservation where I had already paid for it, but she said: “We don’t care about Booking, we are not related to Booking.” That was extremely unprofessional and rude. The staff at the front desk behaved terribly. The room itself was absolutely disgusting. Dirt, hair everywhere, strong smoke smell inside the room, and the overall condition was unacceptable. The bathroom looked like it had been painted over many times just to hide how old and damaged it was. The sink barely drained, and the toilet barely flushed properly. Honestly, even homeless people should not have to live in conditions like this. The smell in the room was terrible, and staying there for two days was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. Unfortunately, I had nowhere else to go at that moment. People considering this motel should seriously reconsider. There are much better hotels nearby for similar prices. In my opinion, this place is not even worth $10 per night.

    Bad service. I stay at toom 339 for 2 night. At 2nd day morning, i asking for a new towel to receiption, and she said the newtowel will be change by room service when they make up our room. When i get back there in the night, our room still mess, no one make up that room and no new towel. When im complain to receiption, instead of they deliver that towel to my room, she ask me to go to receiption room to grab it by my self. Will never back there again

    i've stayed at hotels that were $30 more a night that were filthy and disgusting. Motel 6 is not anything fancy but for the cheap rate it's worth it. However I noticed this recent time, there were more straglers at the location. since the last time I was there they're bedding is a lot better - super soft and way better pillows! (although I don't like the bed pushed against the wall. I just automatically freak out that there's gonna be bugs crawling on me! The AC/heat unit was too loud for me to run all night so I had to turn it off! they really do need to invest in New ac/heat units in the room! (but at least it did not smell!) TV size is OK it had white round burn marks from the bulbs on the screen affected the TV watching a little bit but nothing major as long as I can see what I was watching I'm OK. microwave and small fridge was sufficient for my trip. anyhow this is my go to place because of price point and location when I go home to visit.

    Keep in mind this is a Motel 6, so you should have aligned expectations. However, that also doesn't need to be negative. Our experience was just fine. We stayed overnight since it was closer for us to fly out from ORD early the next morning. The location was handy, check in was quick, front desk was friendly and kind, the beds were comfortable, parking and area seemed safe, and the room was spotless. Is it an older building? Yes. Does it have elevators? No, so don't expect that you are guaranteed a first floor if you can't do stairs. Would stay there again.

    My car was stolen from this parking lot three days ago along with contents of mine and family members. I had cash, all of the clothes that aren't on my back and everything else needed for a road trip. The clerk said he watched it happen on the monitor but didn't bother to alert me when my handicapped pass and room number were on the dashboard. I'm still here, the manager still has yet to even speak with me. Three entire days and nights!? As far as I'm concerned these people had my car stolen. Why else would they still not be doing anything about it??? Please help!

    The shower handle and a screw were on the dirty shower floor. I called the front desk and they told me they would come by. They also asked me if I can pretty much fix the handle?! In addition, there will bugs all over floor. We found at least 5 and it is the middle of January! They offered to change rooms but it was 10:30 at night and we were tired. I am not cominf back.     The staff was pleasant. Nothing extraordinary. I did come in at 12:30 trying to get a room early. They said it would be a $30 charge for early arrival. Another $20 I would have got a whole night ..The bed was comfortable..but noticed a smoke burn in the sheet later.The shower was very tight close corner no room to move.The shower style was like something you would see in an RV. There was nowhere to put any of your shower products. The water pressure was great.. my room did not have a microwave or refrigerator that cost extra which I didn't pay attention when I was booking the room The security lock on the door was a little funny.     I knew what I was getting into when I booked this room at a Motel 6. I appreciate the chain as they have allowed us to travel with our cat! (the "Pet-friendly" label other hotel chains use is false advertising; they should use a "Dog-friendly label" and I'm talking to you, Hampton Inns!). The problem with this stay was that despite there being security cameras, they allowed a group of young people to hang out in the stairwell outside our non-smoking room, smoking, drinking, and making noise until 3:00 a.m. We finally got up and left early. My husband has asthma, the smoke drifted into our room, yet we needed a good night's sleep for driving safely.

    staff was cordial and respectful. not sure about the cleanliness I killed a roach I saw crawling across the floor. only one I saw. the shower was not great. I would bring a pair of sandals for the shower. reminded me of a prison shower. Also, There were holes in the sheets and the drapes.

    We had to switch rooms because of mold, urine, holes in the blankets, crusty toilets, bad odor, pet hair everywhere, stains on the linen. Door latch is broken. Because we are traveling, we settled for the second room due to it being 2am. We will sleep a few hours and then leave. Hoping for a severe discount.

    There was nothing to like. The property was poorly maintained. It was loud. My room was not ready when i arrived. I went through two different rooms because the first had burn holes in the blankets and the second smelled of dog urine. The property was outdated. The people that were cleaning were not professionals. I am sure they were related to the office staff. It was a horrible experience.

    It asked me how was my check in. It was terrible. So I’m not a smoker but they put me in a smoker room as it was the only room available. The desk worker was cool and super nice so that was a plus. The bedsheets have cigarette holes and the room obviously smells like smoke. Other than that, it’s clean and cute.

    My flight the next morning was delayed yet another hour, so when I finally got my rental car, I drove right to the Air & Water Show; I didn't get to the motel until about 5p. I was then told I was a no show the night before, so they kept 1/2 my money and cancelled my second night. They refused to give me a room at the rate I'd originally booked (AND FULLY PAID), saying it was Motel 6's policy and the man I'd talked to Saturday evening gave me bad information. Someone lied to me, and someone else stole my room. They further refused to refund all of my money. I still can't find on Hotels.com where it says Motel 6's policy is, if you don't arrive the first night THROUGH NO FAULT OF YOUR OWN, that the rest of your nights are forfeited and you will be charged for that missed night. I CALLED! I CONFIRMED THAT MY ROOM WAS STILL MINE! I will NEVER stay at or recommend this property. I love the Prospect Heights' Motel 6 and will never waiver from it again. I'm sure when I tell them about what happened, they will be dumbfounded at the criminals running the Rolling Meadows property.

    It was terrible the Wi-Fi didn't work there was no breakfast as was supposed to be included it was surrounded by a construction site and nothing but construction men the vending machines didn't work there were bugs in my room I had to have my room switched even though I wanted to cancel they didn't have any other rooms is a terrible experience there was no getting extra towels there was no shampoo conditioner in the room there wasn't even a Bible or notepad and did I mention that there were bugs four bugs in particular I took a video

    I went back to front desk.They informed me I had already paid, no refunds. I tried to stay, and for 2 dates. I’d recommend a good business move by you is refund my other two days from this hotel. For the 2 days not staying. I did inform the front desk, before leaving.

    There was no mini fridge no ice machine or ice bucket in the room if there was one. There was a TV in the room with no cable staff kept telling me to wait 5 minutes after turning the tv off with nothing then told she would let management know. That didn’t help me. I basically ended up renting a room with a bed and a shower. Oh wait the water was warm with no water pressure. This property needs a ton of work. Don’t know how it can even be open. Oh and a big gap in the door when it was shut. I will not recommend this hotel until they have it together.

    Bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain kept falling down. There were no shampoos but just this tiny little soap. Location was away from transportation and dining and shopping. This swimming pool was NOT working. Unless you’re desperate and penniless, do not book a room at this facility.

    Beds were so uncomfortable that I tossed and turned both nights. Literally the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on and that includes my time in Iraq where I slept on the ground by my truck or on the roof of bombed out buildings since that was cooler than staying inside. I didn’t dare take my flip flops off to take a shower due to the nasty shower that had scum and stains all over. Our TV also had bright white circles burned into it which made watching tv pretty annoying…….not that my son and I wanted to stay in the room long enough to watch TV though. We checked out after two nights of miserable sleep and when I asked the front desk about a refund, I was told that refunds are not allowed. Don’t ever stay at the fleabag motel……this place is bottom of the barrel, even for Motel 6.

    I usually have a good track record when it comes to Motel 6s, I completely understand that you get what you pay for, and I completely understand that you're pretty much taking a gamble with them. But I gambled and I lost with this one. I'll start with the good, the room served its purpose of being a room to sleep in and store mine and my friend's stuff while we went to Combo Breaker for the weekend. I am now done with the good things about the room. On to the many, MANY problems with it. First and foremost, whoever they got working the front desk either needs to quit or be fired because she, CLEARLY, DOES NOT care about her job. The bucket I dropped my keycards in at the end end of my stay did a MUCH better job than she did because it, ACTUALLY, did its job. Second, upon my arrival to my room, there were bloodstains and holes on the comforter, stains and holes in the sheets, the room had, CLEARLY, not been cleaned because the room smelled like, straight up, urine and got stronger as I got closer to the bathroom. Third, the TV just, flatout, sucked and had probably been there for a small eternity. It was too dim, except for, what looked like these orbs of light in a checker pattern, it would also turn itself off for, absolutely, no reason and the remote only worked when it wanted to. Fourth, the beds were super uncomfortable. You could, probably, sleep on the floor and be more comfortable, however, I wouldn't recommend it because the floor was, extremely, filthy

    To make things worse we were gone all day on Saturday May 17th and returned to see they didn't clean again. We had no clean towels or washcloths at all. When asking why this wasnt done when I checked out at the office they told me I was supposed to call them and tell them if I wanted it cleaned. We got back at 11 pm. No one was in office anyway. UNEXCEPTABLE. The most aweful and frustrating experience. Never again

    I didn’t get the room I booked which was a single bed instead got a two queen bedroom and it looked nothing like the pictures. The bedsheets had holes in them and were very thin. The toilet had rust in it, the shower floor was stained with something. They only offered a single bar of soap. The room smelled weird. The door to the room kept getting jammed. And the curtain wouldn’t close all the way. For the price it wasn’t that bad but definitely expected something else after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures.
