The bed is comfortable ,room is big BUT too dark. There's 5 lamps in the room and only one working.
- 3.5/5
The main floor of the property was clean The rooms were quite dirty and the staff was very bland and unwelcoming. The breakfast needed to be paid for by person and there was no variety. (Eggs, toast, sausage, yogurt) the staff did not know the hours of the pool. There was trash left in the room we stayed in.

I like the decor the room was very clean I like the fact that I had several channels to view on the TV ( no reception issues) I liked the breakfast bar especially the Omelettes We had a beverage cooler but no microwave

Great location and great staff....
- 1/5
There were several issues with this property. First, the closet had a strong musty odor that caused my clothes to absorb the smell. Second, although the pool was advertised as being open, it was not open during the posted operating hours. Finally, there was a general unpleasant odor throughout the hallways. I would not recommend staying there

Great bed, front desk late night guy was great. DC native AC unit in closet next to bed

We were supposed to stay for four nights; however, we decided to leave the following morning. The hostess was very friendly and understanding when we checked out after only one night.

This room was such an experience. This room was dirty and disgusting. The shower wasn’t cleaned nor were the towels. The managers are nasty and unprofessional. This hotel was the worst experience I have ever had.

Location. Room size for what i have paid. Old furniture and a dirty washroom. low-maintenance facility
- 1/5
Let's start with the room. Filthy carpet, mold in bathroom, iron that almost ruined clothes because it had black gunk on it, filthy walls, and stained towels. Breakfast was very limited and I was embarrassed for the poor girl who had to inform guests they had to pay... definitely not worth it even if it was free.overall this was the worst hotel stay in a long time.
- 3/5
It needs total renovation!
- 3/5
The staff was minimally cordial. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave. Crack in sink. Room was clean. AC was loud.
- 1/5
I found a bottle of urine under our bed when we were leaving
- 3/5
So the area was decent, hardly any noise or disturbance. The Breakfast was limited but the food was good. I would stay again.
- 2/5
The phone in the room didn't work. When I tried to see if the cord was connected, I found all kinds of gross stuff under the bed. The coffee maker didn't work. I couldn't call and ask for a new one because the phone didn't work. It was advertised as having a restaurant and bar. It had neither (apparently under renovation, but that should have been noted on the site)
- 5/5
Well worth the money
- 1/5
The room was not clean it had a hole in the ceiling and hair in the bed so they gave us another room that reeked of alcohol and also had hair under the blanket on the sheets
- 2/5
Waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in. Only two towels available for our family of 5. One towel was dirty. Bed sheets were dirty. Hair on towels and in bed sheets. Shower curtain was moldy. Overall, very unclean. Very dissatisfied.
- 1/5
Pillowcases with blood stains, hair on floor and drywall debris on carpet. Was top 3 dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed at
- 1/5
Room was NOT clean. Found several items that did not belong to me and bed was covered in black hair that was NOT mine. Staff almost seemed like it was annoying to ask a simple question. There is NO restaurant on the premise that serves dinner even though it claims it does. They sell a breakfast coupon claiming it's well made from a restaurant and it is actually a very small and disheveled continental breakfast. I do NOT recommend staying here I was on business and had little choice or I would of immediately left. Oh shower barely worked as well.
- 1/5
We’ve stayed here several times. This time the bathroom was dirty. Tub was filthy. There was one towel. The bedspread had brown stains on it. At 2am someone was banging on their door and screaming in the hallway. We called the front desk. No one came and this continued until 430am.
- 5/5
i have to assume this location has been acquired by Wyndham recently and is in the process of renovating. It needs it very badly, the rooms were clean and ok but the bathroom had mold and the vents were rusted so they need to take care of it. I didn't review the ratings prior to arriving and i wish i had or i may have booked somewhere else. Overall not the worst place to stay by far but you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Breakfast has to be paid, tvs are too old

- 1/5
Inside the room, broken phone, dirty bathroom, bedsheet, generally speaking not worth to stay.
- 2/5
You have to pay for breakfast, you have to get your own towels, there was mold on the shower curtain. The staff isn't welcoming.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but we didn't have any rolls of toilet paper beyond the one that was already on the roller. We also only had one towel, which is a strange choice for a room with two beds. Parking was a bit annoying. The lot was almost entirely behind the building, and there were no doors back there.

Found two condoms in the room and staff acted as if they don’t care nor do they come to remove it that was for one suite the other suite only one tv worked no one came to fix it the front desk kept hanging up on me horrible stay wouldn’t recommend

The peoples in the front seat was very rude
- 1/5
The rooms and the bed linen were dirty. The issue was reported to the front desk receptionist who told us that she could not resolve the issue. Stay away from this unkempt place. I would’ve given this place a ZERO if that alternative was available to us.
- 2/5
The deluxe suite was ok. The ice machine on the second floor was not working. The elevator, there were 2 banks but only one working. Then the only working elevator went out and we had to use the stairs. One of my guests had mobility issues and that was terrible for her! Then we had to lug all of our luggage downstairs. What a nightmare! I did ask the hotel for compensation. But because I booked through third party, she could not assist me at the moment of checkout. She is to email the hotel manager for that, we will see. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5

- 5/5
My stay was for one night only; this was my second time at the hotel. It is easy to reach and it provided a clean room.
- 2/5
The hotel lost its Internet access and it was a long wait at check-in.
- 5/5

- 4/5
The room was cold because I turn the unit off due to noise. Tv and tv reception needs upgrading.
- 4/5
breakfast was good, and parking good
- 5/5
Tanta at the front desk was kind and helpful. Great.
- 1/5
The rooms are very much so dated, cannot even get local channels such as fox, NBC or ABC, the shower/tub is just not clean and definitely does not scream for me to take a bath in, I had to clean the coffee machine and run hot water through it I believe at least 6 times before I could use it. And if you have dust allergies this is definitely not the place for you, the dust covering the lamps, coming from dirty heat and air vents and everything else made for my inhaler to be used more than I have had to or desired to use and rely on. And here is the BEST PART….. I GOT STUCK ON THE ELEVATOR causing me to have a severe panic and anxiety attack, ended at the hospital and am unable to leave and drive for the next 48-72 hours and that is after I see my doctor for a follow up before I get cleared. So I had to extend my stay Rockville Hotel Ramada by Wyndham. Which added to my expanses for additional 3 nights (so far) and all the other expenses that occurs simultaneously. DO NOT STAY here unless you have too.

- 2/5
Dirty, dark and noisy. Breakfast consists of a coffee machi e and protein bars you have to purchase.
- 3/5
Sofa in the room was very dirty but when I informed about it the young lady at the front desk got me an upgrade.
- 5/5
I did not breakfast at the hotel; parking was good.
- 5/5

- 3/5
Breakfast was overpriced! Black lady manager was superb. Snack shop stayed low on items. Staff was patient.
- 1/5
There was no one at the front desk when I came in around 9 pm even though when checking in online I said I thought I would arrive around 8:30. I had to call the mainline after waiting about 10 minutes. A young lady came out from the back room and didn't apologize for the wait. The lack of local stations on the TV was disappointing. For an older hotel it was very well kept and decorated nicely for Christmas. The morning staff at the front desk were very nice.

The manager Sandy was so patient with this 76 year old man. I hope I got her name right. She was a heavy set black woman.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean spacious room, large bathroom, great location to visit the grandkids, good value!

- 3/5
Limited menu in breakfast, hallway was dirty
- 5/5
The manager Sonya was outstanding and very compassionate with this 76 year old man. Give her a raise now. She was on top of my every request.
- 2/5
The over night staff was so rude to us after she told us that we could come check in at 2 am we waited two hours in the car and we come ask to check in she says she need to do the audit has us wait and 30 min to by and we go ask again she was really rude and tried to act as if we were getting aggressive which was no where near the case and the cameras caught everything. She was the worse person I’ve encountered.
- 2/5
Great staff! But with a stained bedspread and carpet, napkins behind bed and a hair in the bathtub, I won't be returning
- 4/5
The room was ok to the most part. The room only had less than an half roll of tissue and no additional ⁴
- 2/5
I'm not sure what is going on with this hotel because it should be much better than it is. It is in dire need of improvement. The room smells really bad, funky, like it isn't clean. It seems like it's coming from the carpet. The pillow cases were dingy. There weren't enough supplies for us and we ran out of soap, towels, and toilet paper. They couldn't give us anything in the evening because housekeeping locks the supplies up after they leave for the day at 3pm. When I asked the front desk for supplies in the morning it took about an hour and when I called the front desk to check on it, the person spoke rudely even though I had been very polite. They do not have any regular coffee, only decaf, which I think is strange. We didn't have enough pillows and they couldn't give us extras when we asked. It seems like they are struggling as a hotel. I don't know why. This could be a very nice hotel, especially if it was cleaned more thoroughly and had enough supplies available. The atrium in the lobby is nice. We didn't have breakfast because it was an extra cost. Most of the staff were nice, except for one. I thought the price was good, but I don't think I would stay here again in this condition.
- 4/5
We arrived at 10pm and had to park in a dark lot in the back and walk all the way around the building to get in. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived.
- 3/5
Carpets were filthy. Room smelled like old man bo. Pillow cases were stained. Bed was too hard. Hotel smelled like marijuana. I complained about shower head leaking and water barely coming out maintenence came said he was going to change it i waited 2 hours called front desk and said he will have to fix tomorrow and never came back my whole stay.
- 2/5
The room was not clean, had cobwebs, broken curtain rods. Staff wasn’t very helpful, forgot something in my room post checkout, called them and asked them about it, they told me it was at the front desk, but when I got there they said they didn’t have it anymore. Would not recommend this place.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Preety quiet place. Looks like locals may live there long term?
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay and staff were excellent. The carpets in our room and the halls were not clean, but it is an older hotel. So that is understandable. The bathroom was clean and housekeeping was attentive. We were grateful for the lovely staff and appreciated the free parking and great rates.
- 5/5
Very professional clean
- 4/5
Desk staff friendly but not sure they were comfortable in their job.
- 1/5
Just don't stay here. No wifi, terrible water pressure.
- 5/5
Large rooms, clean
- 2/5
Room was dirty, hair in the sink and disgusting shower curtain. Hallways were gross.
- 5/5
Very classy.
- 5/5
Large rooms, clean room, luxury hotel.
- 2/5
The property was very old and very run-down. The bathtub had rust and cracks.
- 1/5
One of the worst housekeeping services I have seen. No bathing towels available to replace even after multiple calls to housekeeping, front desk. Expedia should disassociate with this hotel.
- 4/5
Not much in the way of food... The place is a bit worn out, but clean.
- 5/5
everything
- 3/5
the beds were not the most comfortable but luckily the lady upfront was very nice
- 1/5
I would not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
some room lights did not work. TV very old and could not stream any apps. Asked for more towels and never received. Phone to front desk did not work and had to walk down. No food service or restaurant after breakfast. Will not go back to this hotel and probably not anymore Wyndham's
- 4/5
Service was excellent! They didn't have a microwave, and the restroom didn't have a working fan to turn on after showers; you had to open the doors immediately. breakfast choices were limited. The bathtub appeared to need replacement due to staining from years of use.
- 5/5
The hotel meet every need at the right time.
- 1/5
Not a good experience
- 4/5
We came in around 11pm and our first room could not be entered. Staff were understanding and gave us a new room with a free breakfast. Breakfast was fine; room was clean.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I’ve stayed at all week. There were no bath towels provided. Only a few hand towels that 3 people had to use as bath towels. Went down to front desk and they said they didn’t have any towels & that each room had none. Empty tissue box- 2 in there before it was empty. When you are tired & are hoping for a comfortable stay where you can shower & sleep. This is not it. If I had known before I got all my baggage in the room without a cart provided I would have left and found a place that would at least have towels & not ration tissues
- 1/5
Not enough towels, black mold behind curtains , stains on couch and floor, over grown weeds around pool
- 2/5
Check in was smooth. Unfortunately, there were multiple rats that we saw outside, garbage overflowing, landscape was completely overgrown, elevators hardly functional, no available bath towels, uncomfortable beds and cheap bed linen. It has such potential for being a nice place but is very neglected.
- 4/5
The room was not cleaned properly before my stay. Tnere was broken glass in the carpet, and rhe refrigerator wasn't cold
- 1/5
This property took $215 from me. I checked in at 4 o’clock and checked out in less than one hour because of it being very dirty, the property said that they would not charge me and sure enough they took $215 from me. I contacted the third party and they told me that the hotel has my money.
- 2/5
Staff was rude during check in. They ran out of extra towels and shampoo. We were charged three different times on top of what we paid through Expedia. Any time I called about the additional charges I was hung up on or told the manager would call me back, which never happened. Will never recommend or stay there again.
- 5/5
I booked a 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights and was very happy with my choice. It was like a 1 bedroom apartment, nice kitchens, separate bedroom and sitting area, plenty of space. King bed was very comfortable , I slept like a queen and a baby. I will book again, pleasantly surprised.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice staff. Breakfast is $10 a person which was the downfall for me.
- 4/5
There was chewed up gum on the ledge in the bathroom and a needle in the rug went up my big toe when I was walking around barefoot. The needle didn't come from me. It was located near the trash can by the table and it has me a little concerned. Aside from these things, the place is nice.
- 2/5
The staff was poor, they didn't answer any questions. Did not greet warmly. I wondered why my multiple night stay only include 1-2 days of continental breakfasts and not my entire stay. The staff did not explain and I had to pick up vouchers for the breakfast.
- 3/5
We were given 2 towels for a reservation of 3 people for a 2 night stay. 2nd night we asked for more towels and was told they were out.. out of towels.. borrowed some from “next door” and ran out again…. Ok….
- 1/5
Disgusting. No towels. The list goes on. Do not stay here if you can help it.
- 5/5
This is my 5th perfect review for this hotel in June of 2025. I have mentioned that I have spent days at both the Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn nearby. In my opinion, the Ramada by Wyndham is clearly the superior hotel. Read my other reviews for my reasons. One thing people say is that this hotel is older. It is, but my basic room had a modern 4K TV and other modern features. There is plenty of space between rooms at this hotel as well. The Sleep Inn is next door, and the Comfort Inn is down the street on Shady Grove Road. I stayed at both of those hotels in 2025 and back in 2018. The rooms the two are close together, and they have older equipment. The price for the Ramada by Wyndham is comparable to those hotels. I myself have stayed at each for days or weeks at a time. You can read my reviews from 2025. Clearly, the Ramada is the superior option. I gave a review back in 2018 when this hotel was the Radisson. Then I gave it a 4 out of 5. It seems that since Wyndham Hotels took over, the hotel has improved. The room equipment is also newer. A lot of the bad reviews might be from when it was the Radisson. On Shady Grove Road, between the Ramada by Wyndham, the Sleep Inn, and Comfort Inn, take it from me, someone who has spent time at all three. The Ramada by Wyndham is the superior choice.
- 5/5
This hotel might be older by there is good separation between rooms, blazing fast internet (for those who remote play PS5 or Xbox Series X) I never had a latency issue. The TV is new and big enough to have a better expirence with the actual console. The room also had a modern refrigerator. The Ramada and Hotels.com app must be in sync. Because I renewed my stay 3 or 4 times in my 16 days. House keeping seemed to be aware as I didn't get that annoying knock you get at the Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn. The Sleep Inn is next door. The Comfort Inn isn't far away on Shady Grove Road. Both of those not aware of multiple day stays. I would get a knock after 11 and have to remind the housekeeping that I was booked for multiple days. Btw the house keeping at Ramada is among the best. The Comfort Inn and Sleep Inn are a similar experience. If you can't get a room at the Ramada. My second choice would be the Sleep Inn. The Comfort Inn isn't worth the extra. Plus the Ramada and Sleep in share a pool and a gym.
- 4/5
Great stay!!!
- 4/5
I appreciated the location close to major sources of travel and had ample front door parking. The room was okay. It took a long time for hot water to reach the room for bathing or shaving. The television was without any source of information to allow the guests to know how to operate for the greatest enjoyment.
- 5/5
The Internet is faster than the Hotel next door to this building. I was able to remote play my PS5 without any latency lag.
- 3/5
Great place with lots of future potential to be even better. Note we are their Sunday Monday breakfast and all of us got violently sick from the food.
- 4/5
Clean room and nice receptionist
- 5/5
I had a better experience here than at the Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn, both on Shady Grove Road.
- 5/5
Front desk staff are superb!
- 5/5
I stayed for several days and put my leave in a peace sign on the store. Housekeeping left me in peace. :) At other hotels I have stayed at, I would get a knock around 11 a.m. Housekeeping wasn't aware that I had booked more than one day. The room was large and had plenty of space and lights. The TV was modern that I was able to playmy PS5. The Internet I believe was 100 Gigabits Per Second. I love the staff became friendly enough to have some laughs. Many of the negative reviews you might come across are from when it was the Radisson hotel. The hotel is much better now. I experienced the Radisson in 2018. The staff was different. The gentleman that worked the front at the time was so rude I called Hotels.com and canceled my reservation.
- 5/5
I had a nice time. Check-in went smoothly, the room was very good.
- 3/5
Dead and live roaches in the room. Before I arrived in the room.
- 3/5
dated grimy room
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
When we checked in, we had to wait 15 mins since no one was at the front desk. There was a line of people trying to get placed in their rooms. Checking in online did not expedite the process, in fact it was useless because it only checked in 1 out of 2 rooms. Next the rooms, 1 of the 2 rooms were "cleaned". I use the term cleaned loosely here because its subjectively clean. There were debris on both rooms carpets and the bathrooms as a whole aren't as clean as they should be. Specifically, Room 219 had a stale musty odor and the couch looked filthy. When I inquired about a spray for the room to freshen it, house keeping told me to ask the front desk and the front desk said there was none in the building. The front desk moved us from room 219 due to the state of the room. In both the rooms, there were not enough towels to accommodate the number of guest staying in the room. Furthermore, when I inquired about extra towels, I was informed there were not any extra towels. Which is pretty ridiculous given that there was advance notice of how many people were staying in each room. Room 219 also had a bug in it. When I inquired about a bug spray to kill it, there was none on site. Also kinda ridiculous given the size of this hotel, the rooms
- 1/5
However, my new room was also in an unsatisfactory condition, as the shower was not working. The bed comforter had stains and never heard back from the general manger.
- 2/5
Rooms unclean and not good smell
- 4/5
The key/cards doesn't work properly. Elevator stops working, and we were inside with small kids. Room was so dark, lights were working partly. And the main inconvenience for me is this one- I need to check-in so earlier and ask to do it even I was ready to pay. They told me that room is not available and I booked another room for another day. But in final a come and settled in one room from early morning.
- 3/5
The person who checked me in and out was professional and nice. The place was old but decent. The exterior is surrounded by thick, well kept bushes but at night, it's inundated with rodents. I didn't receive service from the cleaners, had to ask for towels.
- 3/5
Hotel is stingy and cheap with shower water. Took me 30 mi s to take a shower because water was not coming out slowly..
- 5/5
Very good breakfast was good the kids loved the environment and the fridge was more than convenient would definitely stay again
- 2/5
The shower was sketchy. Not the cleaning peoples fault. I thi k they did a great job. The shower couldnt turn all the way on, the ceiling paint is cracking, the shower bottom is stained. The chaise lounge had very suspicious stains on it. The bed was clean and comfortable. The air vent was black all around it and blew directly on the bed.
- 3/5
Dirty bed sheet. Blue LED on refrigerator very annoying.
- 5/5
Amenities and customer service were great!
- 3/5
room was fine, but no wifi and no local tv channels (compensated with free breakfast)
- 3/5
Unfortunately, I did find bugs in the bathroom the morning I left. Perhaps it was because it was 3:45 AM
- 3/5
The hotel was clean. The air conditioner in our room completely broken.
- 1/5
This might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was dirty and in disrepair. The walls are paper thin and there was a party going on at 4AM in a neighboring room and we could clearly hear everything. We had to switch rooms because the TV remote did not match the TV in our room. There are only double beds available for 4 people - staff said that the queen bed rooms are only for those with mobility issues. There was no food option as apparently the kitchen was closed on a Saturday morning. We were supposed to stay three nights and checked out after one.
- 3/5
Pretty good but wanted extra pillows and front desk said they were the only one there and was booked. They were not at all busy just lazy
- 4/5
You all need to maintain the tubes. They may be old, but it sure did look filthy. the tube floor, which made me think that the rest of the hotel was unsanitary.
- 3/5
Staff showed no hotel hospitality. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming energy to my family and I yet they were very friendly amongst themselves (staff) constant fraternizing.
- 3/5
Impressive hotel, limited staff help to access Metro subway.
- 5/5
Plenty of parking, was worried at first but the back parking was so large and well lit
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Abdul was great
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers - staff made us feel welcome
- 5/5
The desk clerk was so nice and gave us a good recommendation for dinner.
- 5/5
The desk staff were so attentive to our requests. They never made us feel like a burden! Friendly staff, will definitely be back!!!
- 5/5
I had an early morning meeting. This was a wonderful hotel. Everything was nice and quiet, I was able to make my meeting on time and well rested!
- 5/5
The parking lot was lit up and made everything feel very safe.
- 2/5
It was stains on the couch. Noise at all hours of the day. Room was too far from the front. Breakfast wasn't included even though stated it would be. Floor was filthy and needed vacuuming.
- 2/5
Wanted to Watch a game and was t available only cable channels the guy at desk said they where working on it
- 4/5
The only issue was the poor snow removal efforts, which left us slipping and sliding on ice or hard packed, icy snow, getting in and out and to the parking lot. Serious fall risk that wasn't addressed at all from Saturday through Monday morning. To make matters worse, the door closest to the parking lot wouldn't open with the key card, so we had to traverse even more snow and ice to get to the next available door. Please buy a snow shovel and some ice melt or someone is going to get hurt. Aside from that issue it was a good visit and we were pleased with both the accommodation's and the price!

The only thing was two bugs crawling across the floor when I returned to the room. I was offered to move to another room but I declined because it was late at night and I didn't want to pack up all my things and my grandkids. after that I didn't see any more bugs. It was a very comfortable pleasant stay.

Front Desk was wonderful.

The service in the hotel was OK, however pointing things out to them such as chicken bones being all over the desk just outside the elevator garbage being left on the floors is garbage all the way down the hallway and it remain that way for over two days before they decided to clean it up was a bit gross to see on a continuous basis. Every time I exit the elevator, my room was clean and tidy when I checked in, but the hallways had a lot to be considered.
