Reviews
Guests generally enjoy their stay at Cambria Hotel, praising the spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel's location is also a highlight, with many restaurants and amenities nearby. However, some guests have issues with parking, and there are consistent complaints about the lack of daily room cleaning and towel delivery.
- Spacious, clean rooms
- Friendly staff
- Parking issues
- Lack of daily room cleaning and towel delivery

Cheap Sheets. Some sort of biting bugs in the beds. Bedbugs? There four nights and they didn’t clean the room. Unacceptable. I’ll never stay in a Cambria hotel again
- 3/5
Great location … Need to make sure room is in working order.. Shower broken and one of my family’s rooms was not cleaned before going in
- 4/5
Good location in Rockville, near the Metro.
- 5/5
$20/day for unlimited in/out parking in an attached deck.
- 3/5
Not the greatest. Staff pretty rude. My room was not clean. Floor had food on it. Hotel is ok. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
It wasn’t the greatest experience but the beds were comfortable and the shower was roomy and nice.
- 4/5
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Cambria Hotel in Rockville. The two queen beds and the sofa sleeper were perfect for our family. We also enjoyed the easy access to the Metro. Would definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
When we arrived in our room we discovered the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. The toilet was DISGUSTING. We were immediately moved to another room. We noticed the next morning there were no extra blankets and pillows for the pull out sofa. Since we did not need it, this was not an issue for us,be we notified the front desk at checkout.
- 5/5
Great Hotel!! 5 start the walls are a bit thin but a earplug can solve that issue
- 5/5
Rockville is right on the Metro Red Line, a short walk from the hotel. About 30 min to downtown. The nice thing about being towards the end of the Metro is the cars are empty when you board. Ask for a SmarTrip card at the front desk and buy an unlimited one day pass before boarding. Same price as 2 one way tickets. Hotel was clean, spacious, and in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful and parking access was convenient. (Note it is an additional $20/night with in/out privileges.) Disappointed the Panera on the corner was closed, but there is a World of Beer on the other corner. Would definitely stay again!

Nice
- 5/5
I had a great time on my first trip ever to Rockville.
- 4/5
The gym has not enough equipments
- 3/5
Good location
- 4/5
Room was great. Pillows very bad support. It was weird being told there would be housekeeping done after the third night, and then no housekeeping materialized. Make sure to communicate with the front desk if you want it done.
- 2/5
Elevator was done for a day and a half. Had to use stairs 4 flights down. Normally (last 4 times I stayed) parking was Free. This time it was 80.00 Someone should have told us when I called front desk there’s an extra charge. Carpet has a musty / corn chip smell. Had to leave windows open. Desk was very nice,
- 5/5
We did not have time to visit the pool and gym so I cannot comment on that.
- 2/5
From was noisy despite request and he people yelling outside while trying to sleep. They never changed towels or did up bed
- 5/5
Everything went smoothly. The room was nice.
- 5/5
Clean room and facilities. Fridge in room wasn't working, they changed it quickly. Would be nice to have a free coffee station available in lobby. Some lower end hotels have this. Still not crazy about the $20 per night parking. Neighborhood is walkable.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was extremely helpful. We got there late and check in was a breeze. Had really looked forward to the hor tub the next day. Which never got warm or hot. It was a beautiful room but 2nd floor was noisy. Could t tell if it was outside or just people in that floor... all hours of the night. Over all would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
My room was pretty clean. The staff were amazing and helpful. My solo trip was great.
- 5/5
Great staff.
- 3/5
Disappointed in the fact that there was no guest laundry as advertised. I would have stayed elsewhere had I known that.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. The staff was friendly, everything was really clean, and the location was perfect with lots of spots to eat and walk around. The bed was super comfortable, and the room felt nice and spacious. We also loved the indoor spa and pool. We’d definitely come back.
- 5/5
The hotel has great service and a wonderful staff team. One of the best ones that I've stayed with in the past few years of many business travel trips. Nicely done Cambria!
- 5/5
Location and luxury property
- 3.5/5
The location was very convention to the metro, the area is safe and we could walk to many eateries and shops, there was even a grocery store within walking distance. We were told that our room would be cleaned on Wednesday, it wasn't. So we called the front desk and requested it to be cleaned on thursday, as we needed new towels. It never got cleaned, our trash never got taken out. I understand trying to conserve water and energy by not cleaning it everyday. But to not clean it at all for the duration of a six day stay seemed somewhat unreasonable to me.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Very convenient location and clean property.
- 5/5
Clean and convenient for a work trip
- 2/5
No Services as described in Hotel Info.
- 3.5/5
Room temperature is an issue as the thermometer does not really work well. Laundry machines not working. Cleaning services only available a day in advance alert.
- 5/5
For a business-trip hotel, breakfast should be included.
- 5/5
Convenient location and tge
- 4/5
Did not eat breakfast. Parking garage a littlevconfusing
- 5/5
Travelled to Rockville with 2 young children (4 & 6yo) and enjoyed the stay very much. The location was excellent, walking distance to restaurants and pedestrian mall etc. The room was spacious for a hotel right in the heart of the city. Everything was great except for the parking garage smelled like vomit.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel in the perfect location! Close to the Rockville town square that has tons of restaurants and a Trader Joe’s. Room was clean and bed was comfy. I was disappointed that breakfast was not included. Also, the shower was strange. Just a partial glass wall with no door which meant water could splash out and I was freezing unless I was directly under the water. Kind of noisy being downtown with sirens, traffic and dogs. Other than that it was a wonderful experience!
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
The bathroom didn't have a fan so there was paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling. The shower had some black stuff in the grooves but the water pressure was great. I don't like the $20 per night parking fee. Why not just include it in the room price and say free parking so it doesn't make people mad. Would have liked free water bottles and/or coffee.
- 5/5
Super Layout of our room, comfortable, quiet, easy to hangout.
- 4/5
Good, but room service missed the cleanup
- 4/5
Location Air conditioning unit in the room constantly made noise that kept us up instead of getting much sleep. The parking garage wasn't fully lite. Body wash in the shower was empty but housekeeping was quick to supply a new body wash. Food was overpriced.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 5/5
It was a really nice stay for one night with my family. Everything was clean and the staff pleasant.
- 5/5
Beautiful clean spacious room and very nice bathroom.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Easy to park, room was very clean and the beds so comfy! Just wish the pool was open later than 7.
- 5/5
Great location near the Metro. Convenient and safe parking worth the extra charge. Staff very accomodating. We bought breakfast at Panera. Limited morning hours at the hotel restaurant.
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Great parking.
- 4/5
Good stuff
- 5/5
Clean well serviced hotel.
- 5/5
Clean well serviced hotel.
- 4/5
This info was not explained upon arrival for a 5 night stay. The information is written somewhere in the room. Needless to say, my room was not serviced the whole time. I emptied my own trash in the halls and got fresh towels from the desk on day 4 when I realized my error. Recommendation is that after 3 nights the room is automatically cleaned unless customer requests it not to be. I loved everything else, but this definitely affected my stay.
- 4/5
Nice location, clean room, great bathrooms, comfortable bed. But
- 5/5
everything gusippis honey mustard sauce
- 5/5
We stayed here to visit Washington, DC using the metro. It’s about a 45-minute commute, but we were totally okay with that considering the price and the easy metro connection. We didn’t use any amenities other than the room, and we didn’t request housekeeping, so I can’t say much about that. However, I know you have to request it 24 hours in advance, and it’s available every 3 nights. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Nice place good location would recommend to stay there
- 5/5
clean and pet friendly
- 3/5
SOME kind of illuminated clock in the room. It does not need to be an alarm clock.
- 5/5
I stayed here 2 nights to have surgery nearby at Montgomery Surgery Center and the staff were so lovely. When I asked about noise level so I could get some rest after surgery, reception offered to move me to a room on a higher floor. Rooms were clean and spacious.

I made a reservation three weeks in advance for a two-night stay at this hotel in Maryland, while traveling with my husband and three small children from New York. Expedia stated that I had until 6 a.m. to check in, so I notified the front desk through my cousin, who was checking in earlier. I arrived before midnight, but the clerk charged me an additional $221, claiming he didn’t see my booking. After exhausting delays and a six-hour drive, he told me they gave away my room for the second night. For the 2nd night they offered two small rooms, splitting my family, which was unacceptable. I ultimately decided to just stay the first night since we were so tired and it was after 12am. After a sleepless night and not being able to find another hotel in such short notice. I asked the front desk for the complimentary breakfast that was offered and informed them of my situation, yet again due to their mismanagement. I was then promised a full refund by a different front desk clerk, but ultimately, Expedia informed me that the hotel denied the full refund, offering only a partial one. This entire process cost me more money, separated me from my family, and left me deeply disappointed. I would never stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone, especially for a family trip. This level of disorganization and disregard for customers is unacceptable in today’s hospitality industry. (The $221 charge is also still pending on my credit card although it has been 5 days)
- 5/5
Excellent location in downtown Rockville with restaurants nearby and a short walk to the Metro. Great for getting around the DC area. Paid parking was reasonable and convenient. My room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and efficient. The pool was clean and pleasant. N/A
- 4/5
Gas issue and fright upon arriving, no baggage support, expired coffee within room, limited custom services, no washer/dryer in service, pool OOO, no lifeguard support. Front desk disappears and lock front door entry without notice and/or proper notice.
- 2/5
Parking wasnt bad
- 5/5
The rooms were big and nice and clean
- 3/5
Clean room, ok service.
- 4/5
The room was really nice, love the long shades for the windows, a lot of amenities inside the rooms I couldn’t get in to the pool it close to early. And we have loud people next to our room
- 5/5
Clean room clean building everything amazing area loved it
- 5/5
Staff was great, Brian was super helpful and friendly
- 3/5
Very comfortable bed and pillows! My room was on the 8th floor and the shower water pressure was very low and the water had a strong sulfur smell. Hotel lobby was nice but room and bathroom needs an update/refresh. Parking for the hotel is underground level 4, takes a while to get in and out of garage. $20 overnight.
- 5/5
Spacious rooms
- 5/5
We as a family loved our stay at the hotel. The front desk was great, they welcomed us really well, upgraded our room and gave us a bigger room as we were 5 in total. My kids loved the room, the only thing that was a concern was the ac,we had hard time figuring out how to put it on heat and to have it stay warm. But besides that all was great.
- 5/5
Everyone was great

On Monday night March 9 I needed help understanding Uber. I went down to the front desk and ask the desk clerk for help. I really appreciated his help he explain to me how it works where i understood the app. I don't know the name but I wanted to do a shout out to him. My Uber trip was very successful.
- 5/5
Great service and clean hotel.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Had a great time! Wonderful hotel!!!
- 4/5
everything perfect but shower drain had hair in it
- 5/5
Rooms were comfy we really enjoyed the hot tub. Very quiet peaceful experience
- 0.5/5
NO WATER AND THEY WON'T YOU UNTIL AFTER YOU CHECK IN. WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW SOMEONE TO BOOK THEN WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE THERE TO THEN SAY THERE IS NO WATER. I BLAME MYSELF, THE REVIEWS SAID IT BUT I READ THEM TOO LATE
- 1/5
I booked this hotel specifically to enjoy the hot tub with my fiancé only to find out that the hot tub was broken and won’t be fixed for a week or so. Our shower had no water pressure the first night and had to be fixed. The pool hours were ridiculous for a hotel and the lifeguard was pretty much pushing my daughter and I out before closing time so he could leave and he gave me the creeps staring at a close distant our entire swim which was very uncomfortable I would not stay here again
- 5/5
Room was clean, safe, and totally acceptable for us and our baby.
- 5/5
Clean friendly!!
- 5/5
Clean and safe The toilet was not working when we first got in the room
- 5/5
Big clean room. Great air. Fantastic bed and shower and linens. Hotel squeaky clean. Near the metro.
- 5/5
Great, convenient place to stay.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect except water in hot tub was cold
- 3/5
The pool closed early without notification then I wasn't extended a later check out
- 1/5
I reserved two queen beds and when I arrived at 3pm, I was told none would be available for the night. The desk person was not helpful and did not seem to care.
- 3/5
The bathroom had mold in the shower, and all over the bath products.
- 4/5
The staff at the front desk were very helpful.
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
Noisy environment at night Very close to amenities
- 3/5
The coffee pot in the room 189 bucks for less than 24 hrs in a room.... still want me to pay 3 bucks for a small coffee and cant get it till 7 am
- 5/5
Spacious room, comfy bed, friendly check in, proximity to garage, and areas where we needed to go for our trip.
- 3.5/5
N/A The room's internet is not secured. When I discussed with the staff there, I had conflicting answers. While one person said that's how it should be, and I needed a VPN application online, another said that the IT department was doing an upgrade. I told my family members not to connect to the room's internet. We had to roam our phones and use our own internet (that was an extra and unplanned cost). Travelers should check whether this has been resolved before connecting to the internet in the room; otherwise, your information might be stolen.
- 4/5
Some towels were not changed/had hairs in them? Had to request new ones. Shower water pressure is slightly low. Also reception only ever had one staff so for checking in and out the wait could be long.
- 3/5
Nice room nice bed and couch Staff said if my handicap dad wanted a chair brought to him we would need to book another night
- 5/5
The place was nice and clean, beautifully decorated the accents lamps and bedside tables were modern and the free standing mirror was a plus. The only thing I will said is that they don’t give water or toothbrush or toothpaste. They do have a hair dryer, ironing board and ironing machine, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap the other plus thing was the coffee maker and small refrigerator. No purified water though. But I managed to buy some.
- 5/5
Modern fixtures
- 5/5
Didn’t dine there so have no opinion.
- 2/5
Front desk understaffed housekeeping understaffed. Anything i needed I had to go back down and get and had to wait while the one person who was there tended to everything else
- 5/5
Attentive staff. Comfy beds. Nice amenities. Quiet.
- 5/5
Wonderful sraff
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 3/5
After taking a shower during my stay, I noticed mildew in the shower area, which indicates the bathroom had not been properly deep cleaned before the room was assigned. This raised concerns about how thoroughly the room had been cleaned prior to my arrival. After staying for three days, I requested housekeeping. When I returned later that evening, my room was in the same condition as when I left—dirty bathroom towels were still on the floor, and the bed had not been made. I was then moved to another room; however, that room was also unsatisfactory. Food was visibly lying on the floor underneath the sleeper sofa and could be seen immediately upon entering the room. There was also hair in the bathroom near the soap dispenser, further suggesting the room had not been properly cleaned. Additionally, garbage was left overflowing in the hallway near the elevators for more than 24 hours, which is extremely unsanitary and creates a health concern by attracting insects and rodents. I do want to note that the front desk staff were polite and professional throughout my stay.
- 5/5
very nice room. Spacious, very nice linens, super clean

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the restaurant and indoor pool. Extremely disappointed. We came back from an event at 8pm. I asked the chef and waiter if they were still open. They said yes. I told them we needed a table of 6. I told them we were going to change and would be right back down. In the mean time the chef took off. I was told he wasn't sure if we were coming back down so he left. Mind you we reserved the table at 8 pm. Restaurant closed at 10pm. Next-- the following morning I take the boys to swim before checkout and the lifeguard closes the pool. She told the kids get they needed to take a break after 30 minutes of swimming then she walked away!
- 3/5
The front desk staff was immensely helpful and responsive to our requests. My husband and I stayed for two nights, with our little rescue in tow. When we arrived to our room, there was only one towel, but once we called, housekeeping sent a stack of warm towels to our room. The king sized bed was quite comfortable and a selection of pillows with varying lofts made for a comfortable sleep. As sleepers that are sensitive to light, we appreciated the efficiency of the blackout shades that darkened the room beautifully. We found it odd, however, that we were placed in a handicap accessible room (we did not request this). The shower pressure was quite low and the holder for the shower nozzle didn't remain in place. Overall, a conveniently located hotel with good customer service.
- 5/5
Highly recommended. We've stayed her many times. They have a restaurant and bar that's open until 10pm - great for those weary travelers checking in late. The bartender is fantastic and their burgers are amazing. Our room and bathroom are always clean and well stocked. Location is great as well - there is a wine bar around the corner with outdoor seating, a Starbucks and Panera on the corner. They should be given a higher star rating!
- 4/5
Clean and modern.
- 5/5
I do look forward to staying there again!
- 3/5
Check in wasn't smooth, it took a few minutes to confirm my 2 queen bed rooms but it was resolved.
- 3/5
Rooms Great . Large and Modern Beds Terrible ( Used up / Lumpy soft/ Hard/ Weak )
- 4/5
Great place. Very clean and convenient. My only complaint is that the shower wasn't hot enough.
- 3/5
Huge room, but with very little in it. One thing that I’ve never seen before: the staff only come in to clean and/or make up the bed if you specifically request it and make an appointment for that. Room heating system is odd; even though there’s a thermostat, if you select heat on the thermostat it just gets hotter and hotter.
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 4/5
Boiler ended up going out while we were there so we didn’t have water for a couple of days. Ended up leaving early which the staff was kind about and didn’t give us a hard time
- 5/5
Spacious and clean room
- 5/5
The nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've been to a lot of them! Spacious room, the thermostat was adjustable (most hotels now decide the temperature of your room), clean, good area... couldn't ask for better.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Spotless and spacious room! Clean!!!! Loved it!
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Experience noise at dawn from people entering and knocking on doors around 2-3 am. I understand that’s outside your control. Pricey not to have the walk-in washer. I stayed here before. Other hotels provide make up removal single use toiletries was surprise not to find any at Cambria.
- 5/5
Great location and very clean and comfortable room. Loved how the space was arranged with the couch and bed, etc.
- 5/5
Bar well stocked, clean and great customer service
- 4/5
The room is good. The flow of water in the shower could have been little faster.
- 4/5
Everything went well. The room was great and staff was nice. There had been some kind of water issue and there were drying fans running out in the hall, but I didn't hear them in my room.
- 5/5
All good. Have stayed here many times.
- 5/5
Great location, comfortable room, helpful staff.
- 2/5
Emergenies happen, though a problem persistent for more than 2 days is not emergency but a condition. What completely disgusted me was the staff attitude - absolute nonchalance, indifference, duplicity. They didn't care, they didn't seem to call for emergency crew to deal with the burst pipe in the evening (they just cut the water and the earliest I noticed any work was the morning after), they didn't volunteer solutions or take immediate actions (like setting up portable toilets or helping guest to relocate). Moreover, when I was abruptly checking out in the middle of the crisis, I heard them talking to someone checking in - they mentioned the water disruption but tried to downplay it saying they hope it would be fixed by the end of the day when it was already obvious it will last at least 1 more day. Avoid this place at any cost!
- 2/5
There was no running water in the middle of my stay so I had to relocate to another hotel. Also the parking is very expensive for a hotel in the suburbs. Would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Did not like that an extra cost was asked for morning coffee
- 4/5
Great hotel. I did not give the highest rating because the shower was set to warm. Someone needs to allow the water temp to go higher for hot showers. Unacceptable to only offer warm showers. While I understand the liability of scolding hot water, there is no need to max the temp to luke warm! Other than that issue, I did like this hotel.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Close to metro. Plenty of walkable dining options . Quiet safe area
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. It is also not far from a metro stop, which was a plus for us.
- 5/5
I was very impressed that there was actually a lifeguard in the pool area. Loved the Bluetooth bathroom mirror. Beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 5/5
very nice place to stay, easy access to the metro, great value
- 5/5
Spacious room. Only complaint was “air freshener smell was “cloying”. I noticed it every time I turned over in bed.
- 5/5
A great location within walking distance of restaurants, coffee and shops in downtown Rockville. You have to pay for parking in the garage. The room was spacious and comfortable.
- 4/5
Everything was great but parking should be free
- 5/5
All was good. Thanks
- 5/5
Check in was slow.
- 5/5
A bit far from downtown DC but still accessible on red line and quiet convenient area. Very clean. Good price!
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
Hotel is nice. My only complaint was that the pool hours are very short. 11a-7pm on wknd. Very limited when staying one night. The kind woman at the front desk, made sure my kids n I had time in pool tho. Thank you
- 5/5
Room was exactly what we book, no surprise and the staff both day and night were amazing! Highly recommended them to anyone staying in area!
- 3/5
The location and parking weren't ideal.
- 5/5
Great service
- 3/5
Pool area has bad hours. Opens later than other hotels and closes earlier. Nice when you can make it in. No complimentary breakfast at all. Parking is $21.20/day, which is cheaper than most hotels. Parking garage smells and is isolated, didn’t feel very safe as a single female. Room was average. Vents were filthy. AC unit was noisy. Many TV channels didn’t work. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels in room and down in pool area. No pen and paper or hotel information card in room. Room did have a functioning microwave and mini fridge, which was nice. Do not bring freezer foods. Overall, I’d probably choose another hotel for my next stay. Good for the price.
- 3/5
Check out was painfully slow. The woman at the desk spent an average of 5 minutes per guest to complete the process, so there was a line. Please implement express checkout with a key drop.
- 4/5
Room was nice, water pressure for shower was good. Check-in was a little rough there was a line and only one person working the desk.
- 5/5
Great staff and nice place.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay at the property. Looking forward to my next stay.
- 5/5
Wonderful! I love it here!
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
The room is clean, location is very convenient, but they charged me 78$ for no reason, can’t provide the receipt, called many times, always promised to call back when figured out but never.
- 5/5
Excellent stay except for issue with the door security jam malfunctioning. Staff was very good.
- 5/5
I came here on a thursday afternoon. Less than 10 minutes walking distance from Rockville metro station. Nice and quite neighborhood. Many dining options nearby. My room was large. Neat and clean. I wish they placed a bottle of water in the room. Out side there was ice mechine, but did not find a water fountain. Otherwise everyhting was excellent.
- 4/5
It was very nice and clean and in a good area.
- 5/5
Clean place
- 4/5
Fantastic location that allowed us to walk to lots of restaurants and the VisArts. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff we interacted with were all great. The room had a little bit of a funky smell that was more pronounced after the shower was used, which is the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars.
- 2/5
Took too long to check in. There was nobody at the front desk for 15 minutes. Almost finished a full beer before we got checked in
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
The overall stay was very peaceful and very convenient to dining. I would definitely come back again and refer to others when they come to visit.
- 5/5
Very convenient to courthouse. Excellent price and plenty of v close dining options
- 2/5
I called before booking to see if the hot tub was open, they said it was. It was not. This is the only reason I booked.
- 2/5
Come inside to the front desk so that they could handle it. Once I arrived, I waited patiently as the manager assisted another guest who seemed to be frustrated. When I t was my turn I let him know I was ready to check out and asked how the additional $24 I was charged for parking would be refunded. I was completely calm because I figured this could be corrected until the manager told said “ you should have brought the parking ticket in to us” the third party handles the parking garage and no refund will be given. EXCUSE me, rude! I told him how was I to know that I was never informed. He didn’t want to correct the problem he just said WE didn’t charge you and slide the parking ticket/ receipt back to me. I existed. I will never stay at that location again. This was poor customer service.. I couldn’t believe it I’ve never been treated like that and even had a good stay with my children while we were in Rockville overnight.

really satisfied👍

Nice place

Parking is not included in an already pricy hotel. Prepare to pay 20$ extra a day
- 5/5
Everything about the hotel was very good… except for the elevator malfunction.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Room was large. Very clean. And the king size bed was comfy.
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing and better than the last hotel we came from. It had very nice colors and a Keurig Coffee Machine. This is also a great location because there is restaurants in walking distance. We were traveling with 5 people and we all had our different spaces (It was not crowded). The bathroom door opened right up to the counter which was a little frustrating, but other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Pool was in maintenance so didn’t get to enjoy it. No restaurant or bar service on Saturday.
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
Noticeable trash accumulated in the common areas when we were there. Pool area also need some work, not a very pleasing for kids to swim.
- 5/5
Cambria is my go to hotel in Rockville. The price is right.
- 3/5
It’s an ice hotel. In the middle of a lot of things. My only disappointment was the pool not working. I only booked the hotel for the pool and didn’t get to enjoy that
- 5/5
Nice and clean. Great area. Had trouble turning the ac off as it was very cold and the thermostat didn’t change the temperature. I enjoyed the stay and found the area to be nice and inviting
- 5/5
Nice staff, easy access to the property, clean and well lit halls.
- 4/5
Very good experience.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the location.
- 5/5
We have stayed at this Cambria property multiple times over the years. It is located in a great area, convenient to roadways with many options available for food, drink and shopping. Definitely our go to when in the Rockville/Potomac area.
- 5/5
Everything you need all in one area
- 5/5
The room was large and clean. The area very quiet. There were a lot of families staying for athletic events so I thought it might be noisy but our room was very quiet. The front desk people were very pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
I go for business once a year in May and this is the perfect location
- 5/5
The only down side was parking. I was not expecting to have a $20 per night parking garage charge. I feel like that should be included in the room rate.
- 4/5
The only thing I would consider is looking into a disinfectant that cleans up with UV light body fluids and replaced all pillows in the room .
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Rooms very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful.
- 3/5
Quiet & friendly. We normally stay here when passing through town & they hardly ever disappoint.

Very nice hotel, we loved

Need some attention, room was not perfectly clean; dirty glasses, windows. Shower had hairs in it. Soap, shampoo and toiletries not replenished.
- 5/5
We got 2 types of rooms: 1 King bed and 2 Queen beds. The front lady was trying to arrange our rooms on the same floor which made us appreciated. The facility was new, clean, and spaciou. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The location was safe, quiet, and easy to find.

In the heart of the action. Hopefully, a restaurant goes into the empty space across the street.

This is our second time staying at The Cambria Rockville while visiting DC and suburban Maryland and we loved it again. Great location in a charming “town center” with dining, shopping, a fantastic library, town square, etc. Short and convenient walk to the Rockville metro station (Red line) which took us into the city in under an hour. Spacious rooms, excellent service, and flexible and caring staff. Couldn’t ask for more! Book with confidence!

Nice friendly comfortable stay.

I've been staying here since Friday and not once has anyone brought up new towels nor changed the linens and I'm renting two rooms . This is insane I'm never coming back.
- 5/5
Everything you need is close by, including the subway! Would stay again!
- 5/5
The hotel is right in the heart of the city, with plenty of cafes and shops just steps away. The room had everything we needed and was especially convenient for us with the small sofas for the kids. Everything feels cozy, stylish, and brand new. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

Room size and layout was nice tho
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel, staff is great prices are great. Would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Parking is $20 per day. No free breakfast - $50 for 3 of us and 2 of us split a meal.
- 5/5
Love our stay
- 5/5
Everything went very well. The staff is professional. The location is great, near the Metro, shops and restaurants as well as the movie theater and other entertainment.
- 3/5
No hot water in shower
- 5/5
Great hotel and area is convenient.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful!
- 5/5
Nice big clean room. Hotel is in the middle of a busy town center so goings on could be heard ie. Farmers market, music at night, etc. I sleep with a white noise machine which drowned out all the outside noise so wasnt a problem for me. I had a turo but metro is within walking distance. Staff was friendly and polite. Didn't get up early enough for on-site breakfast but there are tons of restaurants in the vicinity. Parking is $20/day with in/out privileges and was easy to find and utilize. Garage is shared with an apartment and people visiting the town center. Felt safe. I was alone and returned to the hotel after 10pm most nights and never felt unsafe. Overall enjoyed my stay would be happy to come back.

The hotel was hard to find. The hotel room was so oddly configured that it was uncomfortable to use and relax in. The hot water was hit or miss and the grout in the shower was poorly done and crumbling.
- 1/5
Hot water was out for 2 days possibly more … was still out as I was checking out
- 1/5
The hotel's hot water system was broken down and we had no hot water for our stay. To say the least, that made showering very difficult. My family and I are here for my son's wedding and am terribly inconvienced by no hot water. I do feel that some form of compensation is in order.
- 4/5
I arrived very late, and had to go out in the middle of the night, as I left something for my trip. In the morning there were children running through the halls near the elevator very early which disturbed my sleep. Children will be children, however, maybe if I wasn't located so near the elevator after arriving late.
- 5/5
Great stay but my last day there got ready to take a shower no hot water
- 4/5
All amenities were out of order during our stay. I specifically booked for the gym and pool, but without warning, they were closed.
- 1/5
The reason we got a hotel instead of Airbnb is because we wanted pool access! The pool was out of service for our full stay!!!
- 4/5
Check- in was a bit of a long wait even with a reservation but the unlimited parking was great.
- 5/5
Lovely place its in a great area it has great rooms great staff from the front desk to the kitchen to the cleaning crew. There is a starbucks and tons of othe restaurants walking distance from the hotel if you and family want to catch a movie its movie theater five steps from the hotel. Its truly a 6 star stay me and family truly felt welcomed thank you Cambria for wonderful stay blessings to you all.
- 4/5
The service was wonderful and the room was in excellent condition.
- 2/5
Tv service didn’t wk, lamp was broken an plug sockets were broken
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room, check-in and parking in the attached garage were very easy.
- 4/5
Good moderate priced accomodation that was convenient to Rockville dining
- 4/5
beautiful room! was not expecting something so spacious and elegant for the price! was a little bummed that the pool and gym were not open but other than that amazing stay!
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay at Cambria Hotel Rockville, we could walk in the areas around, enjoy some restaurants and the most delicious french bakery close to it. The only “inconvenient “ we found at the Hotel is thar the breakfast time is very early and limited. So we enjoyed having breakfast outside.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming
- 5/5
Staff were very nice and accommodating
- 5/5
Room was spacious and very clean. Would stay there again sometime.
- 5/5
Walking distant to restaurants. Very clean and rooms spacious. Staff helpful.
- 5/5
Any mistakes made were fixed as I arrived
- 3/5
Honestly, I was disappointed. The room itself was okay and the fridge worked, but it still had leftovers from the previous guest, which was off-putting. While the room was somewhat comfortable, the overall cleanliness really fell short of expectations.
- 3/5
Gym and pool was out of service. They didn't really offer anything to help make up for it. Also the AC in our room was broken so they moved us... but didn't offer anything to make up for it which was kind of a bummer.
- 3/5
We booked the hotel because it had a pool It was very disappointing when we showed up and it was closed our entire stay
- 3/5
Not the cleanest hotel, apparently housekeeping is not always available on site. The couches had stains and the sheets on the pullout couch were dirty. When discussed with staff I was informed that housekeeping would only come when requested and requests needed to be placed 24 hrs in advance. Although they did supply clean sheets afterwards, this should’ve been addressed prior to check in.
- 4/5
Good to know that the hotel had a room for audio-visually challenged clients. Also the bathroom were equipped with grab bars, had built-in bath chair and wide enough space to accommodate wheelchair.
- 5/5
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and the location is close to many restaurants.
- 5/5
spacious. The staff were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me a little was there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morninng.
