Staff was great, very welcoming and helpful. Left something in the room upon check out, received a phone call from hotel and said they would mail the item to me, or I could pick it up. Room recently redecorated, nice looking, very comfortable beds and linens. Nice to have the extra counter space and microwave and refrigerator. Parking area well lit, felt safe. Would stay there again. Seemed close to most everything we wanted to do.

Stay was perfect! Very clean, roomy and bed was almost too comfortable as it was difficult to get up in the morning! This will be my go-to if I ever need to stay in Rockford again! Thank you!

Only the price and even then was not worth it No amenities exremely basic with some other rather questionable guests around who appeared to be lodging long term there.

Room was perfect for an overnight stay. I checked in early evening on a Saturday evening and it was pretty noisy from the street and nearby businesses. But all that pretty much comes to a halt after 9 pm as these are businesses that close by then. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They do not serve breakfast but the coffee is excellent!

Staff were friendly, responsive. The location was convenient to anything you might need including a nice breakfast/cafe across the street. Grounds were well-lit, secure and free parking.

The first day was not so good. Was put in an accesible king room for handicapped. Smelled musty & made my allergies asthma bad. Requested another room which was better.

Really outdated dirty rooms. Didn't mind rooms being outdated it was food and other things stuck to the wall that could be scrubbed off but never was that did it for me.

Rooms old & outdated. Carpet in room was very dirty & worn out. Refrigerator unplugged & very stale smelling when opened. Water was yellowish/rust colored when attempted to use in bathtub. Marijuana smell when AC unit turned on..

We are doing a cross country driving trip from the east coast to CA. We chose the Alpine motel for the price since we are paying for hotels for 21 days. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and the room had a large TV on the wall. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner, only bar soap, which seemed a little strange.

Staff was nice. Shower tub - slow drain so ultimately standing in dirty water. There was a slight slope so I could stand farthest from pooling water and turn the shower off while sudsing and let the water drain. Clean sheets on bed. Bed was fine as far as comfortable. Floor was nasty throughout. Parking was plentiful. Heat worked well. Toilet was clean.

Large suite, comfortable King-size bed, located on State Street with plenty of dinning + shopping options.

The room door (which is an outside door) seemed flimsy enough for a 5-year-old to kick it it)…felt unsafe. Beds were lumpy. Carpeting needs replaced, as did the broken toilet seat.

Dont go here! The mattress felt like it was a hundred years old, and the pillows felt like folded towels with a pillowcase on them!

A good value for $65. The staff is very friendly & helpful, and some new carpet & cleaning would make a big difference. Based on the location and the friendly staff, I would stay here again.

Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Not clean, in fact disgusting bedspread, cracked sink, did not provide shampoo or body wash, bed too soft (very old), staff not welcoming

I'm just a guy that likes space and comfy bed. After being in 10 states this year anddd when taking in consideration the price of this room. This was the most comfortable stay for me all year..... again.... I am just speaking on the things that I care about, value, comfort and space. Kudos Alpine I like your bed and pillows

My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised at the wonderful condition of this humble motel! I’ve stayed at corporate-owned hotels at corporate rates that were dirty and in terrible need of refurbishment. However, the alpine inn is not one of those places. Clean paint, clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Good locks and comfortable beds! Also, the tv and cable both worked! We will definitely stay again.

Very well priced for what you get. Not the most updated, but for the price a very good value, and most importantly it was clean. Exceptionall friendly staff, both upon arriving in the evening and departing the next morning. Our only complaint was the coffee was pretty terrible. But not a deal breaker and still give it 5 stars!

Front desk was super helpful in getting me checked in after a 5 hour road trip. Super easy and quick. Room was big, and the bed was huge! Room is clean and well maintained.

Unsafe bathtub almost fell, toilet seat not screwed in, bed frame was coming apart, run down in need of updating—- the staff however was extremely helpful and polite!

We like the property, the room was musty and worn and bed was ok , but for the price it was fine. We have stayed there twice. 1st time the room was great newer carpet and not musty.

We were originally given a smoking room despite having reserved nonsmoking (staff were apologetic when brought to their attention and made the adjustment). The second room was fairly rundown - though clean - and had an unpleasant odour. Also, the door had a sizeable gap around the seal which affected the sense of privacy as well as let in significant noise from outside. Also no interior lock (e.g. chain slide) was present. That said, staff were pleasant and parking was easy.

the work desk was too tall to work at especially since the chair was broken and couldn't be raised. The sink didnt drain well, the bathroom exhaust fan made a loud noise when turned on. the bathroom was large and generally very clean, adequate lighting options in the room

The room is large with plenty of drawer space and surfaces. The bed is cozy. The covers are short for a tall person but maybe the bed could be made less tucked at the bottom. Vry pleasant place.

The motel was comfortable and priced right. Could have used stronger bulbs in the lamps (i think one had about 10 watts). And it could have had 2 chairs in a king-size room. One of us had to sit on the bed. Staff was great.

The room was as nice as more expensive places. The weekly rate is a nice option. Nice to have coffee in the lobby all the time. One could have as many wash cloths and towels as one wants. Beds very comfortable.

The manager was rude and made fun of my wifes disability

Well the manager was rude and told my wife she look like she was drunk or on drugs because she was walking but actually she has a disability from a. Accident

The room was ok, but the bath tub was very dirty. Had dirty foot prints in it. Found trash under the bed. When I layed down in bed I found it was busted. The bed sunk down, where I felt I was in a taco because the sides folded up around me. We opened the window because it was too hot in the place.The blinds fell off because they we're just barley hanging on. The window lock couldnt latch because when they repainted it. They left too much paint behind, so it caused a lip.So you can no longer latch it shut.It was a very unsafe place.

Aleigha at the front counter was super nice; we had a nice chat while we waited for the reservation to come from Expedia. I don't think she was supposed to be there that night, but she was still pleasant and attentive. The room was spacious (we stayed in an accessible room) and the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and CLEAN. The only issue was that the sink was a little backed up and the fan didn't work, but very minor issues. The property felt safe and was surprisingly quiet for being right next to the main road. We slept soundly. We'd definitely stay at Alpine Inn again the next time we're in Rockford.

This property looked well maintained, was convenient to the interstate and with many dining options near by. It was quiet at night and I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Though the carpet could have used some cleaning, the rest of the room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were clean and without stains. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean. The bathroom was big and enough to fit my wheelchair. It has a mini fridge and microwave which was very convenient. My weekend get aways will be at this location moving forward. 🙂

The staff was nice, check-in and checkout smooth, no issues. The property is dated. Not great, but not "bad". The bed was not luxury, and bordered on uncomfortable, could be better. Interesting there was no blow dryer, thought that was pretty standard anymore. Met very basic needs for our one night stop.

Very dated property in "sketchy" area. During check in the police arrived to check on a potential "domestic" incident. I was a solo traveller and stayed for only one night as I was just driving thru so I managed with no issues however I would not recommend this property for families.

Room was dated, but clean. Old carpeting had stains but sheets and comforter were newer. For a one night stay for a cheap price, it was worth it.

There were 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen. I woke up at 8:28 am on my own.....I never got my call from the front desk. If there was a free breakfast, I never saw it or heard about it. When I turned in my key at the front desk it was un-manned.
