Love the room and the set up. Lots of cubbies for storage. The room was updated. It looked like they painted the cabinets, which unfortunately made them sticky to the touch. The decor was beautiful. Breakfast was mostly typical like a free breakfast, but had better yogurt than most. It was very quiet where we were. Would stay here again.

Toilet leaked off water and kept refilling every 30 minutes. Very loud and kept us awake. Refrigerator made a lond sound when cooling mode kicked on. Impossible to get any sleep.

The AC/Heat unit in the room ha a foul odor that never really went away. We were going to request a different room but had already unpacked and were too tired to repack and move.

I honestly didn't expect it to be so nice. The value and the price were unmatched for the area. The Kind lady with the short pink hair and the nice lady who was working the breakfast area 10/11-10/12 made our experience great!

First being on business and staying 3 days I was a not impressed with being given a ground floor room. They originally wanted to put next to the gym, they moved be down two room to 107. After getting settled and returning from dinner I discovered the TV wouldn’t work. After the front desk attempted to fix the issue he finally said we’ll get you and room. I was then moved to room 121, again on the ground floor. The BBQ/Lounging area was directly outside my window. For two of the three nights I got to listen to several different conversations from the people directly outside my window. To make things worse the toilet had a slow leak and the water would refill very 6 minutes. I had to keep the bathroom door shut just to sleep. Absolute worst hotel experience I’ve had in the last 10 years.

The manager didn't care about anything. We were there 7 nights and had our room cleaned once after my wife went to the front desk and requested it. Every day she had to go get fresh towels. She was told they only get chaged every 4 days. I would never recommend this or any other marriott location.

Our stay at Towne Place Suites was nothing short of amazing! We were in town for my son’s football tournament and everything was amazing! We ended up arriving a little earlier than our check in time and were able to go right to the property to check in. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always met with a smile! Our room was really clean, and the bed was SO comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, the location was perfect and close to everything, and check out was nice and easy. We’ll definitely be staying there next year when we come back! Nothing honestly, everything was really nice! Especially with such a large group of us traveling! If had to pick one thing I would say the view, but again the location and convenient proximity to everything we needed and more was worth it!

I was very happy with my stay at TownePlace suites at rock Hill. The only feedback I have is the pool was not open on the hottest days and then when it was open, It was the day before our checkout day put a damper on that portion of the trip. Thank for being accommodating.

We have been out of our home several months due to a fire and in some limbo after the apt lease had ended. This place gave 4 adults the room they needed and kitchen to work with. Even though the pool was going thru some renovations you could get ni the pool nextdoor at the other hotel. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were very frendly. The room I stayed in was nice. I didn't have any issues. I had a couple of questions that was answered in a timely manner. The floor I was on was very quiet. I would recommend staying here. It's close to restaurants, and shopping. If you like entertainment for you and your family Carowinds (amusement park) is close by.

I liked everything about it. Stayed about 3 weeks, the whole staff was very professional and polite. My room was the cleaned hotel room I've ever been in(been in a lot). Felt like home. And the breakfast!! Different options daily and its good! The very nice last who prepares the breakfast does a excellent job! Really enjoyed my stay. Safe area, a lot of things close by. Places you can walk and eat. Cant say it enough, great and comfortable stay.

Advertised breakfast far cry of what we expected. Trying to reach the manager for 2days, and when I finally got thru, she was very accommodating and nice. We booked thru Booking.com (which I would never do again), and local manager would not quote me a room rate. She said: It is what Booking.com told me in my confirmation. When we left, could not get a receipt, said we would get it in a few days. Never came. Booking.com billed for the 5 day original on April 26, and we did not use booking until May 9, 2025. In history, I have never seen billing before actual use!

Breakfast was bad, location is OK. Floor #2 smelled like dog.

Evrything is fine except hotel personnel who are working at the reception. They have been double charged my staying in the hotel without my autorization. I have booked and paid hotel in advance by Booking.com, but receptionist had charged again my credit card after I checked out and left hotel! Receptionist sent me an invoice by email. I could not do nothing about that because I am living in Taiwan. How I suppose to give recommendation for your service and hotel service after such an error or aciddent? I've sent twice complaint to Town Place hotel Customer service center, but nobody has not been answer about this issue! To whom I should complain? Should I use your service again? The tv The owners are unprofessional, couldn’t get in contact for my refund even though i repurchased the same room, cancelled the first one on accident. The shower wouldn’t close, it kept opening, didn’t have enough rags. Also got super hot at night.

My husband and I stayed for 4 days, I like the room and looks like a little apartment with the kitchen. Everything was clean and we appreciate the clean at hall. Breakfast was not good, options were very poor, unfrozen bread not tasty, eggs, bacon and quiche not so good. We asked for every other day cleaning at room and they never did it, even when I request it .

The rooms had a king bed, sitting area and full kitchen. The closet set up was a bit wonky but it worked. The carpet in areas was VERY worn and the whole place could use a refresh. We booked 3 rooms for 5 days. Of those 5 days, 3 days there weren't any waffles available. When the staff working the breakfast area was asked, she just said we don't have any more. One time it was at 6:00 AM when breakfast started! Very disappointed! Two of desk clerks were super nice but there was one that acted as if we were bothering her to check out an item we wanted to purchase from the front convenience area. Overall, it was an OK stay but I think next time I go to Rock Hill, I will stay somewhere else.

The property was great. Expedia unfortunately made canceling the first night of a two night, fully refundable booking WAY more difficult than it needed to be. When I went to make the change on the app, it told me there were no available rooms. When I contacted them directly all they offered was to refund for the unused night AFTER I showed them a receipt from the property.

Beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good. Bathroom vanity needs replaced because it is dated. Only main issue we had and we let the front desk know was that the deadbolt to our room was broken. Otherwise this property served our needs for a one night stay for our travels.

The hotel room was not the cleanest, dirty dishes, the dishwasher was out from underneath the counter which was dangerous for a small child, dirty shower, toilet seat broken, flickering lights outside of the hotel, stinky smell from the dirty pool that WAS NOT open for memorial weekend, extra towel and washcloth request were strict and added as a cost to my room, pull out sofa sheet was filthy and last but not least, front desk attendant Caroline is very rude, uninviting, makes no eye contact when talking to you so it makes you feel uninvited. My autistic son even spoke to her several times waving and saying hello directly at the desk and she if ignored him entirely. Please get her a little more hospitality training as the evening shift she works is the busiest. Take good care, not such a pleasant stay.

Townplace Suites was a great find. The place was comfortable, desk clerk very friendly and professional. My room was very comfortable with a full kitchen and sitting area. The bathroom and shower were very nice. It is close to many restaurants and shopping. Visit the historic downtown for food and shopping also. This place will be my must stop every time I pass through Rock Hill.

The trip was made to visit family. Unfortunately, my wife had caught a bug and was sick. This had nothing to do with the stay. It was a very nice hotel.

I was visiting family and stayed for five nights. The hotel was quiet even though relatively full. It was nice having a full kitchen for morning coffee and evening snacks.

I was not able to connect to the WiFi...kept telling me that "no internet open". The clothes bar to hang clothes are set too high...I'm 5' and could barely each the hangers even on tip toes.

Night staff are OK, Day time was ridiculous!!!! Did not want to serve me, acted like it wasn’t their job to check me in, help me, would not let me check in an hour early, manager day time had major attitude and was extremely passive-aggressive hiding behind his/her desk forcing the front concierge woman to do her dirty laundry on a major power trip to harras guests like myself minding their business. Just disgusting behavior and the hotel stinks like a restaurant.

My husband is there on business and I came to visit him for my birthday. The room was perfect and comfortable and housed the extra dogs I brought with me.

The first room they gave me smelled strongly of mothballs. This place must have had a problem with moisture or mold. At any rate, the front desk was happy to give me another room, which was clean and comfortable. The grab and go breakfast was actually ready before 7 am, so I was able to get something to eat, and of course get some coffee. I would stay here again. Very friendly staff.

It was not as clean as it was previously. There was yogurt and blueberries in the fridge and the room had a slight urine smell but we couldn't pin point where exactly it was coming from. Otherwise it was a decent stay and being right at the mall is always a plus.

The property is not what I am use to when staying in a hotel part of the Marriott chain. As a Marriott member I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Although the hotel was fairly clean the appearance of the room especially the bathroom was very outdated and not as clean. The water pressure was not that great. There were several hotels to choose from in that area and if ever back in this area I will pick something else.

Friendly staff, clean facility. No restaurant or bar on site BUT multiole restaurants, shopping areas wihin a mile of the hotel. Applebees, Chili's, Longhorn, Panera Bread, Texas Roadhouse, Ryans, etc. the list goes on and on! Multiple shopping places as well. And YES all within a mile!!! Easy access to I-77

It was a nice place to stay with my family

The first room I was given had stains on the couch, spillage on the desk next to the couch and something else spilled on the headboard. The second room was okay. On the morning of the day I was supposed to check out, I decided to go to the front desk to get an extra night, and the person at the desk told me that he was new and didn’t know how to do that, so he said he would relay the info to the staff that came in later. I had to go to work, so I couldn’t procure another night. Now why would you have someone at the front desk who doesn’t know how to add another night to someone’s stay? As it turns out, my girlfriend who was staying with me went to the front desk later to add an extra day, and ended up having to pay for it because they didn’t have my card on file. This would not have been an issue if the front desk person wouldn’t have been able to add another day to my stay. From a customer service standpoint, this is a huge fail by the hotel. I called to speak to the manager later in the day, and left them a voicemail, but I haven’t gotten a call back. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel again.

My reservation # wasnt showing in the hotel system. So i had to pay for the room twice. Then i was given a room that was not clean so i had to change to another room. The carpet was badly stained. The microwave was broke. It was hair on the nightstand. Aweful. I have stayed at this hotel several times and this was my worst experience.
