Holiday Inn Rock Hill by IHG

I left my AirPods in my room and they were stolen by the housekeeping staff. Even after turning on protections where they could not use the AirPods, the staff yet still did not return the AirPods to the hotel. Very frustrating. Management was helpful in helping to retrieve but very frustrating to not be able to trust staff.

Location was convenient to the highway, shopping and an assortment of restaurants. The area was also quiet and looked pretty safe. The room was spotless and offered all the amenities I needed, including a Keurig coffee brewery. Overall it is a very nice option.

The hotel was beautiful, but we came for the indoor pool. It was freezing and didn't appear to be working great. Instead, we sat outside in the lounge area to get some sunshine. I am staying elsewhere for my next volleyball trip because I purchased for the pool access in between games.

A bit over-priced but grateful for a good night’s sleep in this extremely busy location. Comfy beds and a clean room is what we needed and received. Breakfast was a total joke. The property are obviously very proud of it, but it’s the same standard buffet as every other hotel who does the bare minimum. 5-6 people on staff and yet when I was there at 8:00am they’re out of everything… they surely had to make sure I had a coupon though. Wish we would have gone to Denny’s because this food was NOT EVEN Denny’s quality. IMO, powdered eggs & frozen biscuits = failure (thus my 3-star rating). Breakfast should be free, never again.

Everything was good. They gave us a refund for our stay because the first night there was a fire alarm and the third day we had to be rescued by firemen because we got stuck in the elevator when the power went out. They went above and beyond to make us happy. Breakfast was not free.

Breakfast was extra and it looked like the regular free breakfast at other IHG hotels. So we got back on the road and had breakfast elsewhere.

I was super upset that I booked two queen beds then when we got there, they only gave us a king bed so that was not very suitable for the amount of people we had.

The beds were comfortable and convenient to shopping and interstate. The pool wasn’t heated. We didn’t get a free breakfast. Overpriced. And no one was helpful on how to make this right

I love the decor and cleanliness of the property. My initial room was changed due to noisey guests above me but the staff immediately changed ny room and my stay was wonderful after that!

Air was a bit difficult to achieve proper temp seemed to shut off then become very hot before starting back up

Cons: The keys kept not working which I had read in a few reviews before we went. I didn't think it would be a big deal but when locked out of the side door and having to wait on someone to let us in and then having to wait at front desk (which was empty) and then hunt down an employee to get someone to make a new key was quite irritating. Also the toilet seat was loose and that was an annoyance.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms very clean with some of the most comfortable beds I have slept in recently. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

the check in process was a hassle for our crew, all though our company followed all of the necessary step to avoid this inconvenience, so we're forced to use another sister hotel instead of this one, to accommodate our workers needs.

Very clean and updated. The prices were expensive for the amenities. The pool was not open and this was not advertised on the website. There is no free breakfast and other hotels do offer this at lower prices and just as nice rooms.

The hotel overall is nice. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, they have food and a bar. I give this hotel a 1 star because at 9:25 housekeeping opened my room door. Checkout is at noon. There was no reason for them to be at my room let alone open my door. For a woman traveling alone that is scary to be awaken to this when I'm the only one with a key. For this it felt unsafe.

Going to start off by saying I have been staying at this Holiday Inn once a year for the last 3 years around the same time due to the United States Disc Golf Championships being in Rock Hill every October. This is the first time that I have had any type of issue. I stayed there for 3 nights this time. Saturday morning I went down stairs for breakfast. No issue Saturday. Sunday morning I go downstairs for breakfast. This time, I was asked for a breakfast coupon. I informed the girl that was working I was never given any sort of breakfast coupon upon check in, they usually just ask for my room number and last name, verify it on their list, and that’s it. She tells me I need a breakfast coupon or I’ll have to have the breakfast charged to my room. I mention to her that this is my 3rd time staying at this hotel and this has never been brought to my attention. Why am I just now being told this. Her response, I don’t know but do you want the

Great hotel- will be our go-to in the future in this area. Our room was updated, clean and comfortable and the bathroom has a fan which is important to me. AC worked well. Pool was warm and perfect for the kids. Courteous staff. Only downside was no free breakfast but that’s because you can pay for a really good one at the restaurant.

We were told our room was not clean and it was 4:15 before we were able to check in. We were not offered any type of discount. This was my go to hotel when I am visiting Rock Hill but that will no longer be the case.

We had to change rooms three times. The first room had toilet issues. The second room, the bathroom door would not close because it had completely come off the hinges. The third room was fine. Room service food was horrible and we had to DoorDash something else.

The room was very clean as it is a remodeled hotel. But it is an older property. But again, I said it had been remodeled. They feel that their property is nice enough that you do not have a breakfast included. You can pay for it. I feel for the price and for the age of the property that breakfast should be included. And the back door by the pool was always open so anybody can walk in the hotel. That doesn’t seem very safe. But the area is safe. Anyway it felt that way.

We booked a room with 2 beds but upon arrival found that the room had only 1 bed. We made other arrangements and left the hotel. We did receive a refund for the non-stay on the first night. The second night the toilet did not work. We got another room. Next night we arrived and the key did not work. Quick fix at the desk. Upon looking at our credit card after check out we noticed almost $3000 extra charges. Returned and found that the hotel also had noticed this and had already corrected the problem. Every issue was addressed by the friendly staff and the rooms and beds were good. One complaint from us old people is the low toilet height. Difficult for people with hip problems.

One elevator out of service and carpets aren’t my favorite but a good hotel

When trying to check in i was given a room key, that didnt work for the room i was provided. So i had to return to the desk to get that sorted. Then when i got into the same room with a working key card, there was no bed in the room, so i once again had to return to the desk and grt assigned another room. The room i got could not be further from the elevator or stairs compared to the first room with no bed which was situated right next to the elevator. The issues compounded into a pretty negative experience. I wasnt offered anything for my trouble and im not the sort to ask for it. I dont recommend this place and i will not return.

Stayed for the end of come see me festival. We always stay here when we visit rock hill for an overnight trip. Rooms are always night. They had a basketball tournament and the kids were being kids other than that it was 100. Loving the breakfast!!!!

I had stayed at this Holiday Inn previously and had a good experience. This visit was highlighted by the wonderful staff. In particular, General Manager Marion Sheard and I had several interactions. His professionalism and enthusiam left me looking forward to future visits.

My expectations were exceeded in all areas.

Staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

We have stayed here for years on our trips back and forth from Florida. The staff is friendly and always courteous. They know us by name which a plus.

The bed was a little hard, and i wish the bar and dinner stay open a little later. Came back to the hotel for a drink and something to eat after the volleyball tournament at 9:30 and was told everything was closed.

The hotel was very convenient. Its near restaurants and shopping places. The staff were nice. Unfortunately power went out early in the morning for a few hours so we had to use the stairs.

The staff at the front desk welcomed us with a big smile. After a short conversation with the front desk clerk, she assured us our room accommodations would meet our needs. Breakfast was what I call the standard hotel breakfast and was well prsented and prepared. Location was excellent and yes I will stay there again

They have some type of air freshener throughout the hotel. It was absolutely awful smelling. If you have any type of allergies or trouble with smells it would be really hard for them. I would not stay there again because of that.

Tried calling weeks ahead of time to get a refund due to my mother having a heart attack, but was unable to get anyone to help me and ended up just having to not come and get no money back

It's clean, safe, and friendly staffed however the building is extremely run down. My bathroom door wouldn't shut, the A/C was janky, and the fitness area was non-existent (1 working treadmill and 1 curl bar w/ no weights).

Our room was not clean bed was messy not clean from last guest however we a got room not the we paid for a cheaper room not impressed and I had the feeling room was not well cleaned beds were messy with wrinkled sheets too bid for the size of beds we were disappointed

We are in this area yearly for a soccer tournament and will definitely be returning to this Holiday Inn. Desk staff was very friendly and attentive during encounters. I was VERY impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Also thankful for washer and dryer availability for washing uniforms between days.

The person who helped with check in was great however for check out there was a female who not helpful and had a rude and attitude demeanour when I asked for water for us as well to explain about breakfast. She made the check out and asking for info very uncomfortable vs when we checked in and out last week the gentlemen were very polite and appeared to go above and beyond. She definitely has me considering if I would return due to her non helpfulness

This property was better than I expected. I’m guessing it’s a newer property as the room was very up to date. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. I would definitely come back.

We were put in a handicapped room though it was not requested. There was only a drain in the shower and the water would travel down the ramp iand flooded the middle of the floor. The rest of the facilities definitley needed upgrades.
