The room had so much damage. Holes in the wall, toilet paper mount hanging out of the wall, torn comforters/curtains, looked like poop was smeared on a rod in the room, crayons colored all over the walls.

The rooms were terrible, crawling with roaches bedsheets burned by cigarettes, dirty and smells like can’t describe pictures on the website or probably like 25 years old. Nothing like in person they need to update photos. We moved to another hotel the same day.👎

Would not stay there ever again. The whole room smelt like pot and at 3-4 in the morning it smelled the same way. Lights didn't even work great barely could see what you were doing at night I. The room. One was plugged in behind the mattress and was just barely plugged in that if you hadn't been paying attention would have caused a fire. Definitely will not recommend this place for anyone at all. Bedspread had cigarette burns all over plus one of the pillow cases had cigarette burn. Sheets had stains all over them. Floor was "mopped" but still turned the bottom of your feet black.

They gave us a Non-Smoking room but the room smelled like baked in 2nd hand smoke. Plus the it just looked rundown overall. This is not the first time I've experienced this at an Econo Lodge. If you're a non smoker stay far away from Econo Lodges. I'll never go back.

I didn’t stay. The room was filthy and in total disrepair. I was disgusted and left within 5 minutes.

The breakfast did not match the pics online. Only waffles, juice, coffee and a few sad apples. No bagels, bread, cereal, or yogurt. Saw customers coming in and leaving without breakfast. Disappointing

Although the listing stated that pets were allowed, when you check in they have a huge sign saying that they no longer allow pets, this should be updated, especially after pre-booking there and the after 12 hours of driving getting turned away. All of the ice makers are not functional and the grounds were unclean with drug baggies all over the ground. Would not recommend.

The atmosphere around the property also felt unsafe. There appeared to be individuals conducting suspicious activity in the parking lot late at night, which made the stay uncomfortable. When I asked the front desk for an iron, the staff seemed confused by the request and were unable to assist. I ended up going to Walmart to purchase one myself. The only positive aspect of the stay was that the hotel did not require a deposit. Although complimentary breakfast was offered, I chose not to try it given the condition of the room. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

Roaches... Literally killed 5 roaches within the 1st 5 minutes of arrival. Went to front desk and told them I was leaving. Was offered a new room. I declined and she refunded my money. Didnt even think to take pics but will upload a pic of my refund paper where she put roaches as reason for refund..

There was a ironing board, with NO iron, no phone to contact office, there were live roaches in drawer and shower. The ceiling was opened and falling opened in room. The moment I walked into the room, I saw several roaches dart behind the TV console. The walls are grimey, there are stains on the sheets, lampshades had graffiti on it. The management here clearly has no care for providing even a remotely clean environment.

Every piece of bedding had stains on them. The towels had stains on them. The air conditioning unit barely worked. The only reason we stayed is because there was really no other option. The staff kept trying to barge in after only doing one little tap on the door. I would at least like to be refunded half of my money, due to the fact it wasn’t worth almost 400 dollars. I've never been to a place where is so terrible and disgusting, bed smell really bad, uncomfortable bed, bedbugs, said non-smoking room but you still could smell the cigarette, my kids and I couldn't sleep, i wouldn't recommend anyone to sleep there. First and last time.

My toilet would not flush, I ordered a non-smoking room and they put me in a smoking room, it looked like drug deals were happening across the parking lot from my car, my lampshade did not even have shades, and I had to clean my own bathroom upon arrival. I notified staff and they told me that it was already taken care of. Do not stay here!

NOT PET FRIENDLY!! Although it says it is, there is a sign upon checkin that says “NO PETS!” I drove over 500 miles to get there only to be told no pets. He charged me $25 per dog (no refundable, on the site, it said only$10/dog)

Issues with water upon check in, finally was able to get a shower 3 hrs after check in. Phone did not work, could not get TV to come on, toilet paper dispenser was not attached in wall you had to hold the dispenser to pull off the toilet paper, had a tub but could not do a bath b/c the stopper was taken apart and laying on the side of the tub, and they advertise pet friendly but do not allow pets. And lastly there were roaches. This is absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Will never stay there again.

The staff was very accommodating. The continental breakfast was coffee (no tea or hot chocolate), juice, white or wheat bread, corn flakes and a waffle maker. The rooms had old furniture, but the beds and linens were OK, and the rooms were fairly quiet, and the hot water was plentiful and very hot!

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. We didn’t even stay and they would not give me a refund even though I purchased the booking protection. I also contacted hotels.com and after spending over an hour on the phone with them I got an email days later saying they cannot issue the refund.

That property should be removed from the site. They had burn holes in the bed sheets, roaches crawling everywhere even in the bed and microwave. The area is unsafe I didn’t even stay in the room I just took it as a loss because I couldn’t get my money back. The people were hanging outside smoking weed. I left there was a couple outside fighting no one bother to call the police. The worst hotel experience in my life. I ended up sleeping in my car at the rest area I felt safer there. The roaches on the bed was just too disgusting

That property should be removed from the site. They had burn holes in the bed sheets, roaches crawling everywhere even in the bed and microwave. I stayed for 30 mins, then slept in my car. Hotel was disgusting - cockroaches, bedbugs, holes in the blanket. 2 people were screaming outside my room for the entirety of my stay, and the hotel staff did nothing. I switched rooms, only to get more bugs and noise, then left and was refused a refund.

The minute my boyfriend and I took 3 steps into the room we had killed 3/3 roaches while we saw and continue to see more scattering. Not only did I take pictures of the insects I also went to lobby where the attendant said hold on a minute and he never responded back till following afternoon to give me a useless roach deterrent. The sheets were soiled and stained and a washcloth was so dingy that I was scared to use it.

Roaches, dirt, hair, thick cigarette smell and burn holes in the bedding and I got bit by bugs while I slept. I wanted to cry. Truly all the things you don’t want during a hotel stay. Not sure how they’re open cause it’s baaaaad. I came here because I didn’t want to sleep on the CLT airport floor but it definitely would have been worth it had I known what I was walking into.

Room was terrible. Walked in and bed had cigarette burns all over. Multiple full grown roaches crawling on the beds.

Went to McDonald for breakfast. It resolves to spend 1 nihgt, but no more.

This property was nothing like i have ever seen. The room appeared nice enough in the pictures. The toilet ran the entire time we were there. Something tgat housekeeping should have noticed but being as though they only servicesd the room once in a week beside changing the towels. One day they took them and didnt leave us fresh ones. Garbage was only taken out once and they didnt even really take it out. They took it from the room and pushed it into the gangway beside the community garbage, or what we came to know as where all the "residents" smoked weed. Which somehow due to its location to our room made the room smell like weed almsot everyday. One day tgere was a homeless woman knocking on doors asking fir food and money. I informed the front desk and she told me that she had been asked to leave but was lingering around. Later on that night she was sleeping on the bech infront of the office. The freezer door was broken off the fridge so everything we put in it froze and went bad. The bed and pillows were awful....... the list goes on. With a world cycling event going on we had. O choice but to stay where we were as anything available was over 300 a night. We did check out early and were told to contact expedia about a refund. Expedia said it had to be approved from the facility but were unable to contact them sonit was declined. If i was homeless and needed a place to stay like several others there would be the only way i would ever step foot in here again.

The pictures online have to be severely old or from a different establishment. The sheets had cigarette burns in them and there was no continental breakfast as stated. The whole thing seemed shady.

My room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There was space in between the door and the door frame at the bottom, which caused all the smells from outside to seep into the room

This place was the worst motel I've ever stayed in. First I arrived at about 4:00 pm and couldn't get into my room because it wasn't clean yet. I left for couple of hours and returned at 6 and my room still wasn't cleaned! The clerk relocated me to another room and the neighbors were so loud arguing and constantly opening and shutting the door. I walked in the bathroom and there were 3 bugs in the tub and on the sink. I killed a total of 6 bugs, (not roaches) during my entire stay. I left for about 20 minutes to get something to eat and the police were in front of my door evicting the loud neighbors I spoke of earlier! They looked like they were homeless disabled and on drugs! Please don't look for the cheap way out and stay in the Best Western next door if possible.

I would like a refund it was very nasty couldn’t even relax in peace

My stay at the Econo Lodge was relaxing and comfortable. My only problem is how the rate changes started becoming a issue i payed no more than $56 a night for weeks then the rates jumped to $75+ other than that excellent place to rest and relax

Found a bed bug and a roach infestation.

Cool cheap place to rest. Heat wasn’t working I woke up and could see my breath

The absolute worst place to rent from. Rented room for a friend, graffiti on the doors, no lock, dirty sheets, floor unswept…the list goes on. $30 for early check in, but was told over the phone $15-$20??? Rude front desk staff.

They have roaches everywhere. The service feels like a confrontational situation. I only stay because I’m homeless. The first room they gave me was occupied and nasty .

Roaches showed up around 3 am in the morning. The comforter had burn marks on it. I was only there long enough to take a shower but i found mold around the tub.

This was the most outrageous stay ever it was roaches everywhere and when I went to complain the lady told me she will get someone to spray the room for us and guess what…. We had nobody come to our door until that morning and it was housekeeping. That is crazy, we had to go to the store to buy bug spray just to kill all the roaches, and even after we sprayed they where still coming out… I’m glad we are out of that hotel 10 out of 10 do not recommend this place.

Goodnight stay

Extremely disappointed with this property. The bed linens had stains on them and it appeared that they were not washed. We had booked 2 rooms - 209 and 210. There were roaches in the rooms, in the washrooms and in the sinks. The floors were dirty and hadn't been swept or mopped. There was no coffee machine in 209. The main door had a peep hole that had been blocked with paper and compromised our privacy. The only item that was served for breakfast (Breakfast included) was Waffle and coffee. No tea, juice or anything else. The faucets in the shower had come loose. The toilet seats had come loose. The sink was clogging. I couldn't get the heater on in 209.

Drawer front on bedside table broken off. AC unit had what looked like sheetrock dust all over it. (dirty) Bathroom had 2 towels, 1 washcloth and one hand to. wel only. Ice maker kinda worked. We have stayed here 8-10 times over the years. This will be the last time.

It was a night mare stay. Bed bugs gave us rashes and itches. The bathroom was not clean. The carpet was stinking. My family could not sleep whole night. We ended up taking allergy Zyrtec pills for all the itching the next day. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. There were roaches in the room. The vending machines did not work. The ice machine did not work. I would have left after the first night, but my work required me to stay in town. By the time I got off work, I was too tired to switch hotels. I do not think that I should have had to pay for such deplorable accommodations.

To start with we didn't have enough rags nore floor towels nore hand towels for myself and fiance . Mainly for safety reasons it was very hard to use the toilet because the toilet seemed like it wanted to collapse to see it was loose and the back side it was scary and we're still here and I still need to use the restroom but I'm very resistant on having to sit down the toilet that wants to throw me off or I should say light off with the seat or the back collapses overall cleanliness very well good very well

The bed was completely comfortable

The nightstand was broken. The bathroom door had a hole kicked in it.The bedsheets have multiple burn holes in them. The fridge still had food items left in it from the previous guests. The main door to the room is jammed and very difficult to open. The bed has a permanent sunken spot in the middle. Pillows were flat. Just not a comfortable experience.

Poorly maintained. 2 of 3 lights in room didn’t work. Breakfast only waffles nothing else. Oh yes, coffee.

Pictures are way better than the actual place, smelled pretty bad even we asked for non smoking room, the microwave turned on at 3am on its own making weird noises. I would not recommended this place..it was a bad experience .

Good value for the price

I checked in, dropped our bags and left for the evening. We came back to get ready for bed. I killed 6 roaches in a matter of 5 minutes. Grabbed our bags and left. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!

The price was great, beds were clean and comfy, service friendly, quiet too and there was a lot around us nearby for food and necessities. The only down side was the room smelled of smoke even though it was non smoking and the breakfast wasnt a breakfast at all just cold coffee. Overall for a quick one night stay it was well worth the price.
