I was so surprised how different the actual place is from the photos on hotels.com. The room is very small, the whole building is just like a motel. I booked a room with queen bed but the bed was full size. The door of the bathroom has a huge gap from the wall so it doesn’t give the full privacy. There’s a tissue box cover but no tissue box in it. There’s really no amenities for the guest. The most surprising thing was there’s no staff at the place. Key was given from the device, only one card for staying there by 2 people. I had to return the key by the device for check out but it didn’t work properly so I had to call. I really don’t understand why other people are leaving such good reviews for this place. I really do not recommend this place especially for the price I paid, which was $260.00 for one night.
- 4/5
The property was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff a lot of free parking, very goog A/C and nice location in a good neighborhood
- 5/5
Great little affordable hotel. Why I was initially confused by the check-in procedure I found that once I got there, it was super easy and convenient. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Rochester.
- 3/5
The room door would not lock from outside The phone in the room didn’t work
- 5/5
Loved the heated toilet.
- 3/5
-Parking was easy -Great location -Room has a fridge Not good: -Literally every towel and linen in the room was stained, some had multiple different stains. They need bleach or something for the laundry -Floors were not clean -No front desk staff
- 4/5
Nice, affordable rooms. Check in process was confusing and the stairs and balconies on the property need work
- 1/5
Hotel owner/management very rude/
- 5/5
Easy check-in, clean room, convenient parking and close to city center.
- 5/5
Host was friendly and very helpful. This was my second stay and will stay again while visiting family in Rochester.
- 2/5
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were so dirty that after walking around barefoot, the bottoms of my feet were literally black. It quickly became clear that housekeeping had missed more than a few key steps. The shower was another challenge. It was partially broken and made showering feel like a test of patience rather than a basic amenity. Add to that flickering lights and a general sense that the room and facilities were very worn down, and the stay became more uncomfortable than relaxing. There’s a certain “vintage” charm some hotels aim for—this wasn’t that. This felt more like deferred maintenance and overlooked upkeep. I don’t usually expect perfection, but I do expect clean and functional accommodations. Sadly, this stay missed the mark on all three. With some serious attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this hotel could improve, but as it stands, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean but a strange “clean” smell was there. Bleach or lemon or both. A bit overpowering. Staff were on the phone. Very pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning worked well. Parking easy and available. No ice available anywhere. Ice machine in the lobby was off. Bathroom sliding door didn’t shut at all.
- 3/5
Check in was nice and easy but the room was dirty
- 5/5
Room was clean ansquiet
- 4/5
The owner is extremely accommodating and truely cars. Our dog enjoyed staying here
- 2/5
No staff on site at all for check-in or security purposes, or anything else. Lobby locked with no amenities. Insects in the bathroom, street level room access made me uncomfortable, safety wise. Property certainly not as attractive as the photos appeared. The place gave me a creepy vibe overall and I could not stay the night. Low-ish cost was not enough for me to ever try another stay.
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Charming remodel. Bed comfortable, very nice bathroom. Plenty of towels and hot water.
- 5/5
Big room and very clean. It will be better if you add a microwave.
- 5/5
All of the above
- 1/5
This is just a road side motel, not a best western hotel. No front desk, no receptionist. the room is small, noisy. All the pictures are exaggerated. Not real. I hate false advertising.
- 3/5
Advertised as a hotel but entrance to room is outside so it feels more like a motel. Had to call to get the key to the room. The heater/air conditioner is right next to the bed so air is blasting out onto the bed. The lighting is harsh since there is no lamp shade in the center sconce. There was mold in the sink opening opposite the faucet. There was mold and water damage on both sides of the shower stall.
- 3/5
The check in process was weird as they never texted me the code to collect my room key upon check-in. Additionally, the rooms are small, there were crack tiles in the bathroom, and they use single use plastic cups.
- 5/5
Very cute motel, rooms are small but still spacious enough. Beautiful bathroom with heated toilet seats, nice on a cold night. Beds are comfortable. Easy friendly check-in. Nice location on Monroe St with all sorts of shopping and restaurants close by and easy to get to highway. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay again when in town
- 5/5
Walks are thin and was woken by neighbors in the early morning.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and fixtures all brand new, minimal accomodations but comfortable for what they are. My neighbors were noisy one night but not the fault of the hotel
- 4/5
Very pleasantly surprised with how good this place was!
- 5/5
Room very nice. Owner was great and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room. Super helpful and kind staff.
- 4/5
Clean, pet friendly room.
- 3/5
The room area service were great, but the towels were really dirty
- 2/5
The key . No internet . Cable for tv wouldn’t work . And no coffee available in office anymore .
- 5/5
For the price, this hotel was truly excellent
- 4/5
Easy, affordable, clean
- 5/5
This is a nice little hotel. I only had 1 minor issue and the owner contacted me immediately. He was very kind and resolved it. My room was clean, has a mini fridge and the area is quiet. I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room, easy-to-use self-check-in after hours.
- 1/5
I thought the affiliation with Best Western would make this hotel okay. However arrived before 10 and there was no attendant. Luckily I managed the check in process only to be very disappointed with our room. I went to use the restroom and a pregnant type spider was in the toilet paper roll. Then I pulled back my bed covers to find a stain on the top sheet. The next three layers down to the mattress was a large stain as of no one changed the sheets. The mattress pad didn't protect the mattress either. I was told I'd get a refund. I do not see it on my account and it's been over a week.
- 1/5
This is a motel with very little service provided. It is not a hotel. When I arrive at 8pm, the “so called” “office” is locked. I was instructed to pick up the room key from a locker but it was the wrong key. I called the phone and get the key from another locker box. I got a handicap room although I booked a regular one. The show is a disaster! The towels
- 5/5
Attentive and the staff were incredibly helpful.
- 5/5
Very safe area. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Everything was great. Convenient parking.
- 5/5
Okay
- 5/5
The room was very clean, comfortable and up to date. Great location. Silas was very accommodating during our stay.
- 4/5
It is a pleasant room. I had to call the help number to ask where the ice was located. Its at the restaurant next door. From 1 AM until about 2:30, there were people moving what sounded like furniture outside the door and talking. That wasn't management's fault, just clueless people. Unfortunately, i didn't sleep and had to wake up at 4. I like the hotel, it's a little different though because you're pretty much on your own. That's the way they operate and I don't mind too much, unless I need something and they do answer the help line. If you're an independent person who doesn't want to be bothered, you'll be happy.
- 4/5
If price is your priority, this would be a good choice
- 5/5
The day was fine. It is an unstaffed hotel. There were no people to interact with, but everything was fine. It was easy to get the key card for the room.
- 3/5
This was such an odd stay. There is no person at the office... just a locked door and a number to call to have them unlock a key box for you. Okay, no problem, but it is unsettling to not have someone onsite if problems arise. The hotel itself is called part of the Best Western "Signature Collection," presumably because they have done a lot of upgrades to the flooring, the walls, and the doors. It also had a heated toilet seat. Again, that would all be great but then, in contrast, we had only 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper left on the roll and no other rolls of toilet paper available. Fortunately, there was a box of Kleenex and we were only staying one night so we endured. Also, there were no wash cloths or handtowels... only bath towels and one of them was covered in stains (it clearly had been washed but was still dirty looking from all of the dark spots and rust-looking stains). There were stains on the bed linens as well (photo of my pillowcase is shown). So gross. Even if it has been washed, it needs to be thrown away if the stains don't come out in the wash. No clinet paying $200+ a night should see that when they lay down to sleep. And the pillows were cheap and super uncomfortable. The bed mattress was fine, though, no issues there, but the pillow quality was awful, the linens and towels had stains, the sink was clogged up and would make weird noises in the middle of the night like it was trying to unclog (like gurgling sounds). TV glitchy. We had to laugh or we'd cry.
- 4/5
I liked the room and the Turkish cafe next door. Unfortunately, when i arrived at almost midnight, there was no hot water and i really needed a shower. I called the customer service and the employee was very apologetic. He said they weren't going to charge me for the night. Im not sure if that's true because the room was already paid for through Expedia. He said the hot water would be repaired around 10 AM. Im hoping that's true because i have an event to attend today. It's 9:40 AM so im just waiting.
- 4/5
Had some problems with the key system. Both initial retrieval of our key and then it wouldn’t work mid stay. The staff were very accessible and helpful. There was strong pot smoke in the area every night. The room and bathroom was very clean and maintained.
- 4/5
The makeover from a former BW was superficially good. Fresh paint accentuated the updated mid-century vibe but broken window frames created security concerns. Although there was no staff on site, ( self serve entry), when my door key stopped working, the owner quickly arrived to replace batteries in the key card reader.
- 5/5
No frills but great for a quick business trip or if you just want an easy in and out experience while visiting the area.
- 5/5
It would be perfect if there was a small fridge and microwave.
- 4/5
First time we have ever checked in over the phone with a locked box providing us our key. Unique experience. The hotel is worn, but clean. Stain on bedspread.
- 1/5
It was ok
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Would have liked a mini fridge though.
- 4/5
Everything we needed was very convenient.
- 5/5
Staff is uber friendly! I will say the bottom floor can be noisy unfortunately we had really loud people at 3AM above us that was not okay. Everything else was perfect.
- 4/5
Unique hotel in a serene & quiet neighborhood
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Quick check-in, clean room/property, many dinning/shopping options in the immediate area, pet friendly.
- 2/5
We stay at hotel rooms around the Midwest at least 40 or 50 nights a year and have been doing it for years. This is the first time I’ve ever had a hotel that did not have a staff member physically present on the property. In trying to register, I had to call a phone number and try to talk to the property agent over a very poor phone connection. He directed me to a little pop-up window that had only one copy of the room key in it. He said look for room O over the door at this two floor facility with no proper direction and gave us no other information that would have proven to be important later. No elevsI had to walk around the entire property to find room O on the second floor and walk around again to try to find the stairway up to it. I picked one of two stairways and ended up having to walk all the way around the hotel again on the second floor and then had to walk around to move my car over to the stairwells. Luckily, it was a nice night and not a frigid winter night. Entering the room, we saw they had the mini fridge on the floor and to put items in and take them out, you had to get down on your hands and knees, as it was not on a stand. they had no microwave and no breakfast which we weren’t informed until I had to as about it during registration.. The person said just go next-door for breakfast, which was not open at 7 AM upon departure. The bathroom door was a barn type and was able to be opened but could not be closed so we had no bathroom privacy the entire evening.
- 5/5
This hotel was a great find. Conveniently located near the expressways. The rooms are very clean and updated, the price was reasonable, the staff was all very friendly & accommodating. Silas, the owner, even created a "courtyard" outside our room with tables since we were staying for 2 weeks. This hotel will be our "go to" when we visit Rochester
- 5/5
Easy
- 3/5
Extremely limited breakfast. Also the signs in the rooms regarding "do not remove/steal TV" made us question what types of a neighborhood we are starting in. Otherwise the room was nice and big. I think price was extremely high for what it offered.
- 5/5
Our deadbolt didn’t work it wasn’t lining up properly but thankfully there was a door stopper but that should be fixed. Overall great stay!
- 1/5
Took money than cancelled my reservation. With no type of information on why . Now I’m waiting on a refund days later . Terrible a never be spending money again
- 5/5
The Manzara Cafe right next door has the best Turkish coffee!
- 3/5
Newly renovated property. Convenient location. Still finishing things up. Need to address minor housekeeping issues. Owner is on property, was very accommodating to our requests. Great value.
- 3/5
Very good location to stay for quick access to airport. Generally good spot, responsive service. But our toilet was out of order and that’s no way to have your hotel room
- 5/5
We stayed at this property with our dog and felt it was a great, clean hotel that allowed our dog.
- 3/5
Ok place for travel
- 3/5
This seems like a property in transition. The good points are that the room and bathroom were very clean, the shower was phenomenal, the heated toilet seat was fun and the location is good. The negatives are the beds - hard as a rock - and the way too soft pillows. I thought there was a refrigerator in the room and indeed there was, but it was still in the box in the bathroom! Glad we travel with our keurig, but for those who want coffee in the room, there is no coffee pot. The restaurant next door (same owners?) serves coffee, but I was up about 3 hours before they open! Would I stay again? No, but only because of the beds.
- 5/5
Room was great. Minimalist but nice. Loved the welcome chocolate!
- 5/5
Great location for a short stay in Rochester. I really like how they’ve updated this motel. It’s very clean and comfortable. The only hiccup was when we arrived and it took a bit to figure out the key locker thing - the linked directions were not super clear and then the key pad didn’t respond at first. We managed to figure it out pretty quickly, so no big deal in the end.
- 5/5
Comfortable room and, overall, stay !
- 3/5
The room was good, however, I can see why multiple people commented on the barn style door to the bathroom, the door does not stay shut, the minute you pull it over to the side to close it the door slides back so if I was sharing a room this would be an issue. I also found hair all over the toilet seat and inside the toilet bowl, it's like someone sweeped it up in a hurry and then didn't bother flashing it down. The towels had many yellow stains and that was probably the biggest issue I've had with my stay, I was too grossed out to use towels with so many stains.
- 5/5
Updated decor. Simple and comfortable. Nice large bathroom and walk in shower. The price and cleanliness was great!
- 2/5
Only thing I didn't like was they said my dogs peed all over . They did a little but I cleaned it up.
- 5/5
They use a key dispenser for check in. Haven’t done that before. It was clean and quiet. Thanks
- 5/5
Staff is incredible. Bed comfortable and everything. A lot of thought, consideration, and effort into the renovation that absolutely paid off.
- 4/5
Cleaning service kept the room and towels fresh. After hours service was great, saving me when I got locked out at 2am. Check-in was contactless and easy using a key system. Note that this place has the typical motel configuration so your door is straight to the parking, which let some flys in at times.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. The owner was very friendly and helpful!
- 3/5
It was clean enough, and served its purpose for what I paid for. But the "office" that contains amenity is open only from 8am and I needed to leave before that, and I didn't realize there's no coffee maker or anything in the actual room. A portable fridge barely worked, and there was no freezer part to freeze my freeze packs. It was 90+ degrees and I needed to prepare for a work day outside. It was clean though, and AC worked. But I would call this a motel not a hotel...
- 4/5
Nice coffee shop next door. Floor was dirty, but beds clean.
- 5/5
Freindly Staff
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly and helpful. You could call at all times of the day and they were always willing to help. Room was clean and spacious. Very good bang for your buck
- 4/5
In general this hotel was just what we were looking for. But on the evening of our arrival we had a hard time finding a place to park. Another criticism is that, although the bathroom was fine and the shower was wonderful, there were no towel racks in the bathroom. Most concerning of all, however, was the very slippery surface in the shower. Absolutely dangerous. Still, decent value for the money.
- 5/5
2nd time at this hotel and it didnt disappoint. perfect hotel if you dont need any of the extra stuff and still want to be close to city. restaurants and shopping close by and right on a bus line or walkable to downtown
- 2/5
Check in is via phone app. No front desk. Was remodeled but not new enough. Still looks & smells old. Has desk phone but no dial tone. Could not call for a later check out time. Not worth what I paid for it, compared to other hotels in the area. Not saying which the others are for fear they will sell out when I need to stay there.
- 1/5
We called in the AM to confirm the room and was told we had room V and would get an email with instructions. The link we received did not work. Our room was changed to C but we did not get the text with check in instructions until 10PM and there was nobody in the office at 9pm when we got there. Flooring was LVT but felt gritty. Carpet at the entry door would have been nice. No full length mirror. Wardrobe rack was located in bathroom with no closet. No coffee maker or microwave in room. Lighting is super bright and harsh. To turn on the bedside light you have to get out of bed and walk to the back wall. No switch that can be reached from the bed. Both lights go on at once and are very bright. Sink was clogged and would fill up. Only basic TV channels were available thru AppleTV. You had to have an your own account to watch on apps. The bathroom door is a barn door that did not cover the entire doorway and did not seal or lock so from the bed you could hear ALL the bathroom noises. The toilet flushing would wake me up. N Cars parked only a few feet from the room so in the morning when a truck was left running the fumes came in the widow. The A/C heating unit is only a few feet from the bed and VERY LOUD. If you need quit when you sleep bring ear plugs. The second level is only accessible from staircases in the back. Not convient if you have lugga
- 3/5
We were only there for one night and the stay was okay. In our unit the toilet seat would not stay up and I also noticed human hair in the bathroom.
- 5/5
It was everything we needed, no frills, but nice, clean, a great location and the owner and staff were exceptional.
- 5/5
Check in and out process is a tad strange but what a cool property! Very nice
- 5/5
Incredibly nice stay, perfect quiet location but still close to many things. Walkable and drivable. Nice new upgraded amenities.
- 5/5
I absolutely love this place! I’ve been to about 25 different hotels in NYS, and NJ within the last year. I’ve been to almost all of the hotels near Rochester NY. This one is by far the best out of all of them. I haven’t experienced uncleanliness, cigarette smoke, or loud noises out of the 3 times I’ve stayed here. I thought for sure I’ll experience at least cigarettes smoke once out of the three times but nope! I absolutely love that!! I hate the smell of cigarettes! Anyway, the rooms are just a tad smaller than most of the places I’ve been, but still by far the best. They send a code to your phone, follow the easy instructions at the illuminated electronic key box to the left of the office door. After you punch in your code, your key box will pop open with your key inside. Pretty cool. You don’t have to talk to anyone, and most importantly you don’t have to waste time standing in line waiting for someone to check you in. It’s a super fast check in. Very convenient!
- 3/5
My preference is to either talk with a person and get my key or have a mobile key option. I didn’t like having to get the key from a lock box that required a link to get to a code to get to the key. Call me old fashioned. Also, it was so confusing to use the TV in the room. It was some type of streaming device with multiple remote controls. As I type this I realize I might have turned into “get off my lawn” guy.
- 5/5
Reasonably priced, fun decor, very convenient to St John Fisher.
- 3/5
Property was clean however very small and the bed was clean.... but uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Clean rooms & excellent attention to service!
- 5/5
owner is friendly and accomodating
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Fair price for the area .
- 5/5
I love the convenience. You don’t even have to talk to anyone. They send you a code that opens a lock box with your room key inside. To check out they send you another code to drop the key off. That’s so dope to me! No interactions with anyone, no fake conversations. Super easy and fast. Again convenient! I absolutely love it. Last time I stayed here I was in room Q and it didn’t have a fridge so I had assumed that all of the rooms didn’t have a fridge. I stayed in room J this time and there was a fridge and a microwave inside. That was a much welcomed surprise!
- 4/5
Would definitely stay again. There was no where to hang my towel after showering. The sink made a weird noise when other rooms were using their showers like a back flow sound. Wish the Kuerig coffee was better than Dublin donuts and there were no tissues. Also would have loved a mini fridge. Price was great. Location convenient. Self check in. No staff m.
- 4/5
The problems were the following: the television did not work, the outlet near the right side if the bed did not function properly, you could hear conversations with people in the next room, the ved countinued to creak when you moved as you slept. While i understand, " you get what you pay for," my expectations were not met with this overnight stay.
- 5/5
This hotel is wonderful! Clean, modern room with easy contactless check-in. The beds and pillows were super comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous (with a heated toilet seat!). Additionally, I left a library book behind and the staff went above and beyond to call me and mail it back. Top notch service. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
It was my first time with accessing my room key from outside, Not a fan!!!! When I went to put it back in the box the women was not very helpful. I like people. I probably will not go back.
- 3/5
TV no
- 5/5
Pretty and cute! Love it!
- 4/5
I like how I didn’t have to rely on someone to provide the key! The key box was perfect! You just have to follow the prompts on the link that they send. The key box is right outside to the left of the entrance! I found that to be super convenient! The TV is is huge and great for gaming! If you’re a sports guy like myself it has all of the sports channels. I extended my stay because I really didn’t want to leave! The rooms are quieter than any hotel I’ve visited. I am a frequent traveler btw and have been to many hotels in Victor, Henrietta (I will never ever get a hotel in Henrietta if it isn’t “home suites”) and Greece. This is by far the best. The only thing that it lacks, is a fridge. A fridge is important because I always stay for at least 3-4 days whenever I visit!
- 2/5
The key thing wasn’t work for me Room clean great location Little weird smell in the room
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean room with a comfortable firm mattress. The heated toilet seat was a pleasant surprise!
- 5/5
Quick overnight stay while we were in town for a sporting event. We only spent one night and for that the Hotel was perfect. Good location. Nice and clean and a central location in Rochester
- 5/5
Great staff. Very clean.
- 5/5
Very simple and clean motel with modern “glow up”. Have started staying at similar hotels when I don’t need amenities and it’s a great way to find clean and newly renovated places that are affordable. Would stay again. More - no coffee but it’s halfway between two Starbucks locations each about a half mile away.
- 5/5
Excellent service, great location, clean, updated rooms— a great place to stay!
- 2/5
The sink didn't drain. The shampoo/soap dispensers didn't work
- 4/5
Overall this stay was fine for one night but it it seems like no one checks to see that the hotel is being properly maintained. The toiletries in the shower look like they haven't been replaced in months ( soap scum on the bottles, one of the bottle's pumps was broken the conditioner was separated like it hadn't been used in years). The toilet paper holder was rusty and the bathroom sink would back up and gurgle very loudly every hour. Bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. I didn't contact anyone during our stay for these issues bey there is no staff at the hotel and when these things were noticed it was late at night and cold and snowy outside. With it being New York and snowy the hotel doesn't provide any place to put your wet shoes once you enter the room so the floor was wet with dirty salty slush. Overall it could have been worse but it needs a staff onsite to help guests/ maintain a higher standard of service.
- 5/5
Well-run, quiet, and clean!
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
The location
- 3/5
The shower was a bit dangerous since the water was leaking outside onto the bathroom floor. I was very concerned for my family’s safety in the bathroom.
- 2/5
The reservation was for one king bed but we got 2 double beds. No cleaning staff. Although we put out the door sign each day to request cleaning. The room was never cleaned. The heater in the room is very loud and ran most of the night going on an off. This motel has no front desk. They send you a text so you can get the key from a lock box outside the building. One chair inside. No coffee pot, but there is a microwave and fridge. Pretty spare accommodations. No carpeting.
- 5/5
To use the TV, you need your own Netflix or Youtube account to log in to. There is also a conveniently placed HDMI plug on the wall that I assume connects to the TV, but i did not try it. This is a remotely operated hotel, so there is no one at the front desk, but I was contacted ahead of my stay with check in details and it was very easy to check in and out at the kiosk. My key did not work to open the lobby where the breakfast items were (Coffee, tea, granola bars), but someone from the cleaning staff arrived as I was checking out and welcomed me in to get something before I left. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Very nice and clean rooms. Checking in was easy. When interacting with the owners they were very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Good location and comfortable place. It used to be a motel but it is upgraded and renovated! Clean and comfortable
- 2/5
No carpets in snowy city. No coffee readily available.
- 5/5
The room
- 4/5
Bedding and towels were old and had some staining.
- 3/5
Has heated toilet seats- what a funny choice of amenity!
- 5/5
The hotel is nice and clean. All the staff are very friendly.
- 5/5
This is the most artsy hotel my husband and I have had the pleasure of staying in! The building is so pretty! The staff was helpful. Our room was clean and huge!!! We will stay at this location again if we are in town.
- 5/5
Clean and affordable
- 1/5
Run from this. The place is not clean. The room was used to store an old television. The area rug and furniture has stains. The window was covered with paper. I never met any staff there. I think it is operated remotely.
- 3/5
Clean, basic room. Limited amenities and nowhere on premise to get coffee at 7:20 in the morning. A disappointment for the price.
- 2/5
No staff on site majority of time no instructions on how to work TV or cooling system. Some of the plugs don’t work including one going to refrigerator. Price was high for what we got.
- 5/5
Was just an overnight stay. Cute and staff was super friendly. My daughter goes to college at Nazareth and we will make this our little place to stay when I visit 😊
- 5/5
Welcoming staff and great locations - rooms were clean and comfortable, too. Thanks!

It was a wonderful stay. They were very helpful. The room was clean and beautiful. It was a very quiet area to say the least. I would recommend and do plan and staying here for a future trip.

A retro motel with a lot of charm. Very clean, quiet and close to the U of Rochester. We had a great stay and will do it again.

Check in was a hassle.

I did not have any personal contact after being remotely checked in on arrival. Did not see a single person for first 3 days. Left a note there were ants in the bathroom. Was not addressed or taken care of.

There was no direction s on how to use the tv, they had 3 remote control s, the lights in room where way to bright, you had no way to control individual lamps on either side bed, so kept off and left bathroom light on

arrived late checked in through a window. The place was run down old carpet iron burn mark. The mattress was hard and stiff more like sleeping on the box spring. Asked for a new room was told full. We stayed because of the convenient location Never again

The tub had been refinished sometime in the past, and some of the coating was now peeling. That's the only reason the room got 9/10.

Reserved room w/ 2 queen beds (at extra cost), but was given a king. Next, given a room w/ 2 full size beds & broken TV. I accepted that the hotel is dated, but it also wasn't clean. I spent $-- for a dirty room that had no working TV. No refund offered.

The hotel was dirty and rundown. Considering how much the room cost I would have expected something much nicer. There wasn't any toilet paper in the room!

There were no hand towels in the room when I checked in. There was no spare toilet paper roll. I had to go the the front desk to ask for extra toilet paper and hand towels.
