Homewood Suites by Hilton Rochester/Greece, NY

We stayed for 3 days. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a great start to every day with a wide variety of food choices.

Staff was congenial and helpful. Breakfast was excellent- fresh, healthy options and super clean. the room was perfect. Our home away from home.

We enjoy staying here every time we're in Rochester. The staff makes us feel at home.

Us thou was terrible, yelling, kids hitting walls and screaming etc. Had two future trips planned there but cancelled s fast as I got home! I couldn’t wait to leave! Beware !

I loved that it was kid and pet friendly, hotel staff was very nice and inviting. I was calling the front desk and nobody answered.

The only thing we liked was the location to the Kodak Center and to TC Hooligans When we arrived and dave our name, the women at the front desk could not locate the booking even though I had confirmation numbers and a secret pin. I booked the room months in advance. She was a bit rude about it all too. This was after she tried to accuse me of trying to book a new room in the moment when what I did was have a new confirmation email resent to me so I could show her, which didn't work anyway because she still couldn't locate our booking. Luckily, they had a room available for us to book in the moment but It costed $70 more than our original booking. Ugh! Then we finally get to the room, good size with fridge and stove and couch, but the dang sink is outside of the bathroom right next to the bed. So ZERO privacy there. Also the light switch for the toilet/shower room is located outside the room, weird amd inconvenient. The bed was uncomfortable and we could hear everything from every other room surrounding us. We were awoke at 7:30 am by our neighbors singing and shouting in the shower, together. We could hear them through our shower vent!! The shower also leaked all over the floor from the bottom of the door. We will never stay there again.

The overall stay was great. The room was clean, was provided sheets when asked and the staff was accommodating for the most part. We were really impressed with the staff at breakfast; everything was organized, fully stocked at all times and very clean. The only issue we had is that the area around the AC unit in our bedroom leaked during the rain storm, which is right next to the bed. It wasn't very pleasant to have barefoot stepped on cold, wet carpet just before climbing into bed. When speaking with the associate at the front desk, they said they were aware of the issue already and treated the situation as if that's normal for a paying customer to deal with.

The hotel was extremely clean. The room was so spacious and had everything we needed. It was quiet and the pool was empty both nights so it was nice to take a night swim. Good snacks and drinks at the little market. Would stay here again!

The suite was very nice & clean along with the entire facility the staff was really friendly and breakfast was amazing many items to choose from The trash bins in the suite was extremely small there weren’t enough trash bags and toilet paper for a family of 5

We had a wonderful stay. The one bedroom King suite was very comfortable for our family of 5, the breakfast was excellent, and both the pool and the gym were well maintained. Everything was very clean, and the staff was truly fantastic. Highly recommended. The sofa-bed was quite old and partly broken, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. In addition, although we booked a room for five people, there were not enough towels when we arrived. With a few small improvements, this could easily be a perfect stay.

My room was beautiful from the kitchen to the bathroom I traveled with my son for the weekend to go to the strong museum we didn’t have a long commute there maybe 10 min the room was a great price the staff was beyond amazing from front desk so courteous to food service that served a great breakfast & a special shout out to housekeeping staff my room was so clean my son was able to run wild with no worries & thank you for not tucking the sheets under the bed to tight lol definitely making sure I stay again in May when I come back Nothing nothing at all everything was great even the pool stayed open till 10 I found that amazing most hotels closed at 8

Staff was extremely friendly! The rooms were clean we just had an issue with the water not getting hot along with the lights and tv turning off by themselves after 15 mins they did send someone up to try t fix it but no luck… I didn’t get any compensation for the inconvenience

We especially liked the breakfast. Plenty of variety and it was delicious. The pool was heated, the gym was clean, and the laundry facilities were readily available for use. Parking felt scarce but we may have been staying during a busy period.

Check in was pleasant and the room was spacious, updated, stocked, and clean. Tech was up to date which made it easy to connect your streaming services. Liked the separated bedroom. We didn’t use the pool but it seemed popular with a lot of the families. Breakfast was also nice to have each morning. We had a great stay! Only thing to mention here is eggs were out the first morning and yogurt and potatoes ran out second morning, but there was still plenty of food to choose from so this isn’t even a complaint. The attendants were nice - it’s just busy on the weekends.

There was a mouse in my room!! I had just unpacked. I called the front desk and they told me to pack up and come to front desk. They gave me a new room but it was not as nice as the first one. Had a king room and they gave me a queen and the shower was not as nice and modern as the first one. The staff was good about it but offered no compensation.

Stripped our bed sheets for the maid to discover lots of dried blood underneath. I have a photo which I showed the front desk and emailed, however the property manager has yet to respond after 4 email attempts. I will email daily until I get a response, and will update this review to let paying customers know if I ever get a response about sleeping on a bloody bed

The lobby and hotel room smell wonderful, but there is a TERRIBLE sulfur-like smell in the hallways and elevator.

We liked everything. Except the sweet sound sof traffic all night long. This place was clean and within walking distance of at least two bars. One of which being an amazing Mexican food place. It's great for visiting Rochester but not wanting to stay in a busier part of town.

Stayed at Homewood Suites Greece while we were in the area to visit family. The hotel is clean, well-appointed for the category and our room seems to have been recently updated. The common areas are in good condition, breakfast options are limited but OK and other options in the area. We would stay there again.

Elevator was broken and had to either walk up 3 flights of stairs every time I went to the room or walk the entire distance of the hallway. Also ice machine was broken on my floor.

The included breakfast was better than expected and my kids loved the pool. The fitness facility although small had newer equipment that was in very good condition.

Had a wonderful experience until i went into the lobby to check out and return my keys and another person staying on property was behind the desk cursing and theeatening to harm the staff. I know this wasn't a fault of the property but I am super happy that I didnt have my kids woth me when this all happened.

Beautiful property! Under renovation, but gorgeous accommodation.

Overall, great stay! Our room faced the highway which was a bit noisy at night and early in the morning. But, king suite was a great option with a preschooler and we enjoyed the pool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little bit older but still clean and very quiet. The breakfast was good had a good variety of all sorts of things. Overall would stay there again. Had a lot of things in close proximity which was a bonus also.

The property cleanly condition overall is good. The mattress on the beds were beyond horrible. It was the most uncomfortable sleep I ever had. For that I would not choose to stay here again

On the day of check in I booked a room using the Hilton Honour app and was confirmed. When I arrived at the hotel I was assigned for another room and there was no reason given why my original reserved room was changed.

All staff were friendly. We were super impressed with the Wednesday night dinner and estatic the pool was open til 10pm. The bathroom was small the door hit the toilet. We had to turn off the air conditioner in the bedroom and turn it back on for it to continue to run

Beds are horrible, floors dirty everywhere broken furniture in room. Staff not helpfull. Didnt care about our concerns and no manager on site like usual.

The pool was nice, outdoor sitting and breakfast was also very relaxing and better than expected with the quality of food options. We used and enjoyed the kitchen items in our suite, the room was comfy and couch mattress also better than expected. The elevators made a lot of noise and were slower than I thought was usual so we used the stairs, that was our only negative critique.

We are a family of 8 and stayed comfortably in the 2 suites. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. Parking was very close to the room and entrance to and from the hotel room was very convenient. Staff was VERY accommodating and breakfast was great.

They canceled our reservation for no reason and never told us. We were forced to find another hotel at 10pm on a Saturday night. It was a nightmare. Desk clerk was clueless and very unhelpful.
