The room was clean , and the staff was friendly

While I was in the hospital, my husband stayed with our dog. It was stressful and he felt very taken care of and it helped him be more at ease during a difficult few days. Thank you so much.

Staff was friendly overall and answered all of my questions. I liked that it is close to shops and restaurants within walking distance, with a wide variety of options nearby. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

I end up using the blanket from one bed to put under my other bed to make it softer and still slept only two hours the second night The bed linen and towel are so hard I don’t know how they wash it and dry it. It is so rough and scratchyIt’s hard to use. I definitely do not recommend this place, it is absolutely not worth it

We didnt get a breakfest me nu. They didnt have enough towels in the room for 4 girls to shower. Conditioner ran out. Had to call for more towels. They came in the room only changes trash bag. No new coffee or towels. No towels in pool area called they made us go get them wet . What does staff do. We had get out own stuff

Well one of 2 beds although made very neatly had a booger wiped on the white sheet Then I’m in the shower and there is absolutely no body wash in shower Can’t do anything about that but it’s probably due to no soap at the sink I was compensated with a free breakfast but still gross and I think the pool could be a lot cleaner seemed to have mold in corners

The room had no sink-related toiletries... Hand soap, tips, etc. Also, the arm of the desk chair was broken. Other than that it was fine.

The property is in a great location if you want to be close to the university and the hospital or even the airport Although it does get super loud with police cars and ambulances, this is what to expect when you’re this close to the hospital. The only thing I don’t like is every time we decide to stay the price is always going up.

Hard to sleep all night I was feeling vibrating some thing like heating or any thing making huge noise. Break fast not good also dinner was aweful . They charge high rate but not wroth it .cant get peaceful sleep

People in the hospitality industry should be hospitable, not outwardly tolerent of people. I would have asked to change rooms, due to the "splatter" up the bathroom wall, if it didnt require dealing with the front desk again. Paying $450.00 for two nights sleep and looking at a bottle of water with a $2.50 price tag hanging off it just made things worse. God help us

The King bed in room 209 was EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable. No mattress pad or pillow topper either, just a hard, worn out mattress.

Visited UofR and stayed here. Close to campus and medical school/hosptial. There are a few dining options right in the area. Property was sharp, and the room was perfect.

Wonderful caring staff!

The staff abs service were great. My only issue was the shower, it doesn't have a lip so the water runs into the middle of the bathroom, but there were plenty of towels, so, not a big deal.

Blood stain on comforter. Squeaking beds and door hinges. I have stayed here many times and it seems the quality of the facility is declining.

I operate two Airbnbs (in addition to my day job), so I am sympathetic to the challenges of cleaning. The shower had large clumps of long dark hair in the drain (in the center of the stall, so not easy to overlook during cleaning) and there was visible fecal debris on the wall around the toilet paper holder. I had two rooms reserved for myself and my son for more than $300/room (before tax). This was very disappointing and not what I expected.

My favorite hotel when I am in the city. Everything is five stars location is perfect. A lot of dining places in the area and there’s a lot of doing in the city on the weekends.

Hotel was nicely situated for a visit to UR. Property was very nice. One note would be that Elevators were incredibly slow for the amount of floors.

Overall it was a good stay. The location was perfect for our visit at Eastman Dental. The facility was nice but some of the details in the cleaning were missed. I always pull back mattress pads and sheets to check for bed bugs (which I did NOT find to be very clear). However,, one of the mattresses had body fluid stains on the corner and some odd crumbs under the sheet and on the mattress pad. I found those same type of crumbs on the sitting chair.

We reserved a room about 4 hours before our arrival after a long day of driving. When we arrived, we were first told that there were no rooms available - even with a confirmation. Then witnessed a weird and unprofessional front desk discussion between employees. Finally resolved by one employee physically verifying the room was clean and available. All told about a 15 minute wait after a very long day of driving. Then we were told we could eat any snacks in the room - complimentary because of our wait. There were 2 water bottles, lol. Think they were already complimentary. Thanks! Overall, the place was clean, quiet and in a great location - just need to work on their guest reception.

This place was beautiful and so clean the only problem I had was only one elevator worked so it took a little bit longer which isn't a big deal.

When in Rochester, I always stay at the Hilton Garden. The location is great, near UofR’s campus and right at the medical center with restaurants nearby. I had a room on the 4th floor and there was noise either above or outside, both fitting the day and at night. It kept me up at night. The room is well equipped with coffee maker and a microwave. I love that the hotel has a pool and a well sized gym.

The young lady at the reception desk was pleasant and friendly, but didn’t appear to know her job very well. She searched her computer for a while when we arrived, and informed us that our room wasn’t available yet and to return in an hour. We returned 2 hours later, and searched the computer system again for our room. This went on for a while. She clicked something finally, and said “oh there are all the rooms”. Like I said, she was very pleasant and friendly. Perhaps a little more training is in order.

We like this hotel. Helpful staff, good facilities. Nice property. We would stay here again.

Very close to the University and the restaurant is amazing. On site coffee is adequate but there’s a Starbucks nearby - we took full advantage of it.

Loved this facility. It's quiet, serene, and understatedly luxurious. We travelled from Las Cruces New Mexico on the way to Vermont and this was by far the best hotel that we stayed in our trip across the country. I highly recommend this property to all.

Only one negative comment (and it’s pretty minor) - the bathroom smelled of urine. Otherwise very nice experience and will stay here again when in town. Your staff is friendly, helpful, courteous, kind, going out of their way to help. Highly recommend!

The only downside is, we were greeted by a beetle of some sort on the bed! The hotel is also across from a large cemetery, if you are superstitious, it may not be for you.

These THREE ROOMS were absolutely disgusting! Had to request 3 different rooms. 1st room on second floor was soiled to include broken lock on door, phone did not work, foul smell, stained sheets and mattress with blood or stool on curtains. 2nd room the same, again, second floor and the last room was Fourth Floor, exact same dirty and broken lock! I CALLED HOTELS.COM to explain what was happening lady on phone was incredibly rude, argumentive and hung up on me after telling me to take my issue to the front desk for refund.I spoke to front desk, after also waiting over 15 min for someone to appear at the desk while i was calling the desk on my cell phone. He did not answer and magically appeared with a hood on his head! I left facility and drove back home 4 hours away(total trip 8 hours travel back to back). My medical test was not completed because there was no other hotels with open rooms! I was charged twice and ONE CREDIT! THEY STILL CHARGED $226.?? and change to my card! DIRTY, UNSAFE, POOR EMPLOYEES, RUDE 800 NUMBER, THEFT OF MONRY. GASLIGHTING. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Had to wait a while for the front desk person to open the door so we can check in late in the evening. It was super cold, middle of a snow storm and no one answered the phones. The rep eventually arrived claiming he was helping a guest in their room. After checking in, we called down to ask questions. Again no answer! Night front desk management needs to be upgraded. Room was just ok! Some areas were not clean.

Close to the hospital if you need to stay overnight. Clean and comfortable.

Room was not clean. My child has a nut allergy and we found almonds on the floor and in the couch. Also, found a random pill in the room. Not pleased with this Hilton experience. We left early.

Good experience. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Room was missing a remote for the TV. When one was delivered by the staff it didn’t work. I had to unplug the tv to turn it off.
