The establishment was clean and well taken care of. Heather checked us in and was very helpful. Breakfast was a little busy due to many events.

Goose poop all over, but being near water, you have to expect it...LOL! The TV needed instructions to use, a Smart TV being used by a DUMB human...LOL! I had it working after a bit though. Overall, great experiance.

Love this hotel. They have remodeled it since last we stayed. Looks great. Issues. The bathroom in the lobby. Someone broke the door off the stall. Not sure how long it was like that but no one was trying to fix it. There was a stained bed sheet by laundry room in the hall. Not hotels fault but someone should have not let it sit for an entire night. Lastly, hall by rooms 130s smelt like animal urine. If guests are extended they should clean after themselves. Hotel just needs to be more observant and get the folks who want to ruin the place to clean up after themselves

This is a great spot for a quick stay. Was here to look at colleges. I would suggest getting larger bed sheets to cover the mattress. The pool and the gym area was very clean. The breakfast was ok but they can offer non pork options.

Very well managed hotel. Staff was friendly and always busy keeping things clean and breakfast area well stocked. Site is convenient and loved the benches overlooking the small pond next door. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Was traveling with my dog and they were very welcoming, even gave her a few treats. Definitely recommend!

We've stayed at this hotel before and we loved the king suite -- for room size and value. However, the hotel has been remodeled and the suites do not have a separate sitting area nor anywhere near the amount and caliber of furniture as before.

Room was spotless & the staff was IMMENSELY gracious & helpful!! I had to leave my bags there for several hours after checking out & they locked up all my things for me without any question or hesitation whatsoever!

Rooms nice but I have two complaints. Shower caulking was very dirty with mold and areas around the building had debris and trash that could be easily cleaned up by maintenance but it doesn’t appear to be regularity done. Lost gloves bags mini liquor bottles etc..

Good value for money hotel

Our room was never serviced during a three night stay, even though the standard was already low at 'only every other day' being the policy. This was frustrating to navigate with a young baby and at the very least we would've appreciated a cleaned up room. When checking the Hilton website, there is only a small note which says 'Guest room renovations from September 1 until December 1', with no other information. Given that our stay was Nov 27-30, I can tell you that this hotel is nowhere near complete even with contractors working at all hours. We felt very misled and I'm sure many others did as well when they came and saw the condition of the hotel - the place was sadly packed because of American Thanksgiving and people having limited options. We would've never stayed here had we known about this. Extremely disappointing, especially given that the rate was the standard instead of being reduced or discounted.

Been there few years ago. Facilty has changed lots. Looks like new management downgraded the place and service.

The pool was closed and the building was under construction. There was not any notice of any of this when booking. The person across the hall also had a dog that barked sporadically throughout the night.

The hotel's breakfast was dud. They would not refill items and almost always would run out of items. We found the room was not clean. Overall, we would not stay here again and not recommend it to anyone.

The room seemed recently renovated but the Tub/Shower were dated, with the tub liner loose and moving underfoot. Breakfast was a 3 out of 10, I am not sure what the "cheese omelets" are made of but I'm guessing its not 100% natural eggs, they were terrible.

Wish there was a little variety in the breakfast. We stayed a week and by day 3, it was like groundhog day. Vary it a little each day. Pancakes rather than waffles, some scrambled eggs rather than always that flat omelet. Bacon once in awhile. Different muffins. The oatmeal was great!

Breakfast excellent. Staff Darlene was superior at her job. She made sure my husband and i were comfortable in our stay. The initial room we were assigned had a few deficiencies as the hotel is undergoing renovation. Thanks to Darlene we were moved to the fully renovated 4th floor making our stay most comfortable. Thank you Darlene for going beyond the call of duty. She even made sure our belongings were in the new room during our absence as we had to attend an affair.

The hotel and staff were all very, very nice!! Our room was nice and clean. Beautiful walk in shower. The King size bed was oh so very comfy, could have better pillows, way to soft, feather pillows smash like pancakes, no neck support at all. Breakfast Sunday morning was what i thought and looked like a delicious treat... I think the sausage was bad. Sunday Afternoon I became very sick, unfortunately not 100% sure it was that, however my partner and i had the same breakfast except the sausage. By reason of deduction. However it's a very nice hotel. One other glitch, we wanted to use the hotel pool, but the water looked very murky, like the filter needed to be run, but wasn't so we nixed that idea. For a 13 yr. old Hotel still in pretty good shape. Nothings Perfect.

Quick trip clean rooms

I would have given this property a lower rating because the first room we were given smelled strongly of wet dog. However, we were given another room immediately and it was lovely. We walked to a nearby restaurant and had a great meal. No complaints.

Every interaction with any worker was helpful (if needed) & met with a smile. 5 stars from a family.

Door lock on one ground door wasn't working

Room was old and dirty. Room had an odor- (smoking and or pets). Air conditioner had dirt/dust/mold on it. The mattress was so old that you rolled to the middle of the bed.

Room was smelly, we had to purchase plug in air fresheners. Air conditioner was full of caked on dust and dirt and was not working properly. The room did not have any hand soap, or toiletries as stated. We even had to go out and buy bathroom tissue. The sheets smelled terrible. The towels were clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Old, outdated, some areas were unclean, sheets were not freshly changed prior to my stay, significant light gaps from the curtains in the morning, poor quality pillows that flatten easily, towels were old. Never again.

On the whole, the hotel was lovely. What I did not enjoy is the lack of items at the breakfast. The woman who was in charge was stating how she had just come back from a vacation and things were not ordered. This is not my issue and we weren't able to have the full breakfast we were hoping for to start our day.

No hand soap or tissue in the room. Beds were terrible, two people will roll into the middle, time to replace them. Breakfast was ok. Adjoining room was unlocked, glad I noticed since it sounded like the neighbors were about to come into our room!

Hotel was located in a nice area close to shopping and food. Only complaint is that I used a third party to make reservation for an accessible room. When I arrived at the hotel I got a regular room and the accessible rooms were booked. I blame this more on the third party for the screwup.

The electrical outlets could be better located and more convenient. The lamp outlets do not fit the bigger chargers.

Quick stay here on the way home from the east coast. Room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely would stay here again.

We chose this place mainly because it provided breakfast. The room was spacious equipped with a fridge and microwave. It had every I needed but felt it was outdated decor and rug.

The room is very spacious. Its also very classy with nice finishes throughout for this price point. Its very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We usually look for Hampton Inns when we can because we know they are typically well cared for.

On arrival to the hotel we went to check in, only to be told the card Expedia sends to hotel for payment after the money for one night was taken out of our account, was declined. The employee stated she did not have the mind set to deal with it right now and gave me two keys for our room, stated she would deal with it later that night. Once to our room it appeared clean until the bathroom....the bathroom floor was covered in long black hair all over along with the shower/tub having curly hair all over it too, inside bottoms of the trash cans were also very dirty. No hand soap noted anywhere. Having a little one who is crawling/walking was very unsettling knowing the room may have not been actually cleaned. I had to clean the bathroom before use. Once it came to check out the next morning we were told by the employee that he could not find our room in the system that we were attached to. Looked under our name which then was able to find that was were in the system as a no show the night before but clearly we slept there and had been given two room keys. Money was already charged to my bank account on the May 23rd. The employee stated that we were all set because clearly we were there and had two keys which means we did not do a no show.

It was a very comfortable and safe stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

What I did not like was that the freezer portion of the mini fridge has a thick layer of ice, both inside and outside. I had difficulty adding two bottles of water.

Our stay went well. Staff was always aware of people coming and going I the entry and lobby area. They were all very friendly. We especially appreciated breakfast each morning. The hours made it convenient when we had to be up early!

We stayed for three nights and found everything wonderful; the room was clean and nice-sized, the staff was kind and helpful, the breakfast area was well-stocked. Will absolutely stay here again.

I I was unfortunate enough to have My house burned down and my New York state license was inside my burning house. In the dealings of the insurance companies and the fire districts and all the things that I had to do I had to check in late. The first night I was unable to get my paper work out in time and explain myself fast enough before I was kicked off the property by the overnight clerk. Ferron a. RPD Rochester Police Department shirt which I'm sure he's wearing right now, to show off his authority over the night people. The following night, day two of my reservation. He at least allowed me to show him my paperwork including my interim license from the DMV and newspaper articles identifying who I was. He then proceeded to call the police and have me escorted off the property because I did not have a New York state license leaving me with nowhere to stay for a second night in a row. When I called the next morning and asked to speak to a manager he pretended like he was the on-site manager in order to get away with his unfair practices and try to stay out of trouble.

We stayed from Wednesday through Saturday morning and no housekeeping services were provided. The bathroom door in our room stuck when opening and closing and was noisy when it had to be forced to move and one of the dresser drawers would not stay closed when items were put inside. We had to put a trash can against it to keep it closed. The furniture was somewhat scratched up. The beds were, however, comfortable, and the tv worked well.

It had a bench at bottom of bed which was nice to sit on to take shoes off and on. There was a comfortable arm chair my husband used to watch tv. The bathroom was huge and clean. There was a walk-in shower and not a bathtub. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

This is my favorite it the Rochester area. All of the staff is fantastic and accommodating. Anything i mention to them they jump on it right away. Breakfast is good as well. Stayed here 15 times atleast and have never been disappointed

The hotel is very dated. The beds were old and sank when you lie down. Not happy that critical amenities such as toilet paper was not in the room. Only stayed one night so I didn't want to make a big deal but as a hotel there are certain priorities should be ensured when people check in. The room was stayed was extremely spacious though. The coffee tastes horrible. I was just surprised for a Hampton Inn, the level of quality is so low.

I emailed the manager and it took him several days to respond- by then, we had left. He was not very helpful and offered me no type of compensation. I paid over $340CDN for a crappy room and bad service. I would not stay at this location again.

One end of the building, the end we stayed @ & where one would expect a staircase/fire escape to be, was closed and appeared to be under construction. In case of fire (obviously dismissing the elevators in the middle), one would have to go a lengthy distance to the opposite end of the building. I felt this was unsafe and hopefully this is temporary while the building is under construction.

Had to wait right until 4pm for my room. After that, things were fine

Everything we needed for just an overnight stay for a college visit. Would have liked to take advantage of the gym and pool but ran out of time. Room was quiet (except for the loud hum of the heating/AC unit) and bed was comfy.

Hard to judge because they were going through a remodel but the staff was nice and it's a good location for both CU and IC. Safe, good parking.

Disgusting. Blood on the mattress, garbage in the elevator and overall musty feeling. As soon as we saw the condition of the room, we checked out of the hotel and moved to a different property.
