Had a very early flight so no breakfast, shuttle was great and very happy there was coffee available so early. It would have been nice to have a little spot to sit outside in the shade to have a drink, eat or relax.

Over night stay and proximity...

We had our truck broken into right in front of a camera that they had on the side of the building. The staff member on duty who looked like he was lucky to be 16 did very little to help us. Didn’t even call the police for us we had to. And the manager couldn’t be bothered to come in so that the police could try to look at the surveillance footage, which most likely we’re gonna find out the cameras, don’t even work.

Best Western Inn at the Rochester Airport is an ideal place if you are travelling from far off countries. This place is located not only 10 minutes from from the airport, but also it has a delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, plenty of household appliances, a large parking, a high-speed internet, and very supportive staff. Guys, safe a bit water, please! it was to strong in the show, so I was afraid to use to much of water.

The Best Western is located right across the highway from the airport. Great location! Left car parked there while on trip. It was $5 a day cheaper than the airport. Shuttle to the airport was on time and very convenient. Staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating! No dislikes.

Breakfast was the worst for the amount of money you have to pay for your stay. The microwave. Was located in the hallway outside of my room was filthy!!!! I’ll never stay at a Best Western and won’t recommend any of my associates

The place was clean, friendly and on par with everyone else. I would stay here again. We used the shuttle to and from the airport and that went flawless. There are jets going over. They are low enough that the pressure wave moves the curtains slighty. . Pretty funky but I did planes so I slept just fine.

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights! Had breakfast ( eggs, sausage, waffles ect) and they even let me and my partner stay past checkout for a fee. Staff was extremely helpful and kind!

When we called for clarification, the staff were dismissive and said they couldn’t help, suggesting we book a different room with one king bed instead of the two queen beds we originally reserved. When we arrived in person, the receptionist told us our room had already been given away. The manager refused to properly listen to our concerns and insisted the only option was to upgrade to a Premium Suite at nearly double the price. We declined and requested at least the remaining available room, as we were traveling as a family. This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional hotel experiences we’ve had. I would not recommend this Inn.

Extremely convenient location if you need to spend a night in the city before a connecting flight. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A great bonus: you can call them and they’ll pick you up or drop you off at the airport.

I don’t know if it’s some kind of cleaner or deodorizer that they use, but the whole building smells like men’s cologne. It’s so overpowering, I couldn’t stop coughing whenever entering the halls. The rooms were dated, which is fine. But could be cleaned better. There was black hair inside the sheets on both beds. The comforters were stained. The tissue holder had some kind of gue or something sticky on it. We were only there for a quick overnight, but I expected a little nicer for $200 a night.

Our room was dirty. although it was made the towels and sheets had stains and smears on them. our toilet paper was on its last few sheets and just overall dirty we were nervous about even going under the sheets when we slept but for convenience the stay wasn’t terrible just not cleanly

The airport shuttle was easy to use even if you arrive super late. Call upon arrival. Location to RIT is not bad, short uber. Our room felt musty and smelled full of cleaning chemicals. We ended up airing out the room and running the fans. I would not recommend if you an afford a few extra $.

Parking was easy and free which was good. Breakfast was good just needed a non pork item for meat for travelers who don’t eat pork.

Nice people taking care of patrons. Very close to the airport. I could walk over my first night and get my rental car the next morning. The bathtub was big and hot and clean, and the bedding was comfy.

Breakfast was a joke in itself … ive been to many best westerns and this was by far the worst …. Also my roommate got severly sick after running the air conditioner … and ended up forcing himself to sleep in the car

The breakfast was only served from 7 am - 9 am. A short amount of time to serve breakfast. Hotel was clean and smells clean but the building is a little old. There are 2 or 3 steps into the first floor from the lobby, it was a struggle with all our luggage. It is cramped getting on & off the elevators, not much room with 3 suitcases in tow. I appreciate the hotel transportation to the airport. When we stayed at this same hotel last year, the parking was free but we had to pay for parking to leave our car there for the week.

The room was ridiculously small, run down and just a disappointment. We could hear the airplanes all night and had flashing lights from the runway. The beds were covered in some plastic sheet that made noise all night, the pillows were tiny along with the beds. The shower was old and no shower pressure. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was very watered down. It was clean.

What stood out the most for us was the kind, welcoming gentleman working the front desk! The hotel was economical comparatively and good for a night stay pre and post our flight. The shuttle service and parking were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the setting was quiet. Free breakfast was a bonus. Some of the furniture in rooms were torn or stained...need to be replaced. We would definitely stay again.

The breakfast felt like something was missing but it was good. The semi-frequent sound of airplanes overhead was hard to miss while I was awake but wasn't an issue while I slept. There was plenty of space for parking. The room was nice, but my room's hair dryer didn't work. This wasn't a big deal for me so I didn't bring it up with the staff, but I feel confident that they would've accounted for this if I mentioned it. Check-in and check-out were both seamless.

While the staff was great and welcoming, the condition of the rooms isn’t great, even given the price. Light bulbs out, corners of bathroom dirty, leaky faucets, pipes that whine when you shower, and towels so thin it’s ridiculous. The location is great as it is literally next to the airport though. A thorough cleaning of bathrooms and a slight upgrade to towels would make it a better value.

Noise and not good food

My flight was delayed overnight, so conveniently there was still one room available at this Best Western. The shuttle from the Rochester airport was quick and easy, but once we got to the hotel, the experience went downhill. Their system was down so there were no room keys and any time I needed to leave my room, i had to ask the front desk to open my door. All the vending machines were broken and there was no food or water bottles available. The shuttle driver/receptionist gave me a sprite, which was appreciated, but that combined with the room having multiple stains on everything and being on the dirtier side, is definitely overpriced for what they are able to offer. A place to stay in case of an emergency, but do not recommend staying here if you have the option to stay somewhere else.

Arrived downstairs at 4 am. No shuttle! No offer to provide taxi for those of us who had paid to park at hotel for week OR who had chosen this hotel over others that had shuttles that were not advertised as 24/7

Coffee bar is awesome lots and lots of choices! Night front office staff was so nice and personable. Now the room was one of the cleanest we'll put together rooms I have ever stayed at.

The place smells and is unkempt. Sink was dirty with toothpaste and someone’s facial hair. The shower also had a lot of hair by the drain. The best was not made property nor were the sheets clean. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. If it’s one night stay in the airport. If more find somewhere else.

We came into town late at night without reservation, after walking out of the lobby of other 2 star hotel due to cleanliness, we arrived at BW and decided to stay the night. It's an older hotel and shows It's age, but the way is maintained it makes up for it. From the room, through lobby all the way through the breakfast area everything shines! Even waffle maker was clean and caked up batter free. The staff was courteous and very pleasant. I will be back.

Choose this hotel because it was close to the airport annd had a free shuttle and we just needed a place close for a late arriving flight. My husband had called ahead to make sure the shuttle was available at the time our flight was arriving and we were told it is a 24hr shuttle service. I was traveling with my sister and my 11 year old daughter. When we arrived, no one was answering the phone at the hotel so we could request a shuttle from the airport. After about 20 mins of trying to call and talking to reps at the call center who were also not able to get ahold of the hotel staff,?we were about to order an uber instead as it was late and I had my daughter with me. Finally my husband who was back home was able to get them on the phone to request a pick up by the shuttle. When the shuttle driver arrived he complained about having to pick us up and told us it was his last day because he didn’t want to work anymore because he was 76. We tried to be polite and congratulate him on his retirement but he was very rude and seemed irritated by everything ( that we didn’t have luggage, when I misunderstanding a question he asked, etc) It made for a very uncomfortable ride. The person the person at the front desk was talking to someone in his earbud the whole time he checked us in so I couldn’t tell if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. The room was as expected and the people in the the morning were friendly unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

Room was in good condition. Mattresses were not the greatest but I've been to comparable chai hotels where they were less comfortable. Our room was at the end of a hallway; the reason I'm saying this is because I ran water in the shower for at least 10 minutes hoping to get some warm or hot water. I got neither. Tub was slippery while taking my cold shower! Lastly, I called the fron desk around 9pm to ask a question about local eateries that may deliver. I got no answer so a walked down to the front desk. The clerk was in the back room, came out when he saw me. I asked my question and he said I'd have better luck ordering thru Uber Eats or Deal Dash. Ultimately, I ordered using Uber Eats. Left at 6:30am so didn't try the breakfast; I don't think it was out yet. I was going to take some coffee to go but there was hardly any in the carafe and when I took a sip, it was cold.

Negatives: used towels were hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived (easy to miss when the door is open), front desk attendant did not have authority to make decisions about reservation changes and told us we'd have to wait until manager came back a couple days after we left.

Poor water pressure from the shower. The TV continually had a window pop up that blocked part of the screen. The breakfast was ok at best for this type of deal. Coffee was lukewarm and if you like the blue or yellow sweetener you should bring your own.

Good hotel, but it’s too close to the airport. You could hear the airplanes going and coming, and sometimes it was quite loud. This happened all day long most notably at night.

Stayed at Best Western (just across the street from the Rochester airport) last night to get a VERY early flight. Flight was canceled at midnight. Needed to reserve for an additional day. Seroto ( I am sure that I don’t have the spelling correct) at the reception desk was EXTREMELY helpful. He allowed us to stay in our room until the one we reserved was available. He came to our room to tell us we could move. Very clean rooms. Thank you so much!!

Booked 3 rooms, the king room was smaller than the twin room. Heat was stuck at 86 degrees in the room.

Overall it was okay for our one-night stay. The two different people we saw at the front desk were both on the phone taking personal calls for extended periods of time and seemed like they could not be bothered. Check-in is regularly 3pm and a room was not ready until 2:45, even with paying an early check-in fee. Parking was included and easy. The bed was comfortable and the noise from the nearby planes was not that bad since I had a sound machine for sleeping. The hotel was fine, it was really the service that was lacking.

The room smells like smoke and doesn’t appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. Things are coming apart (the edges of the window, and the seams in the bathtub, etc). I started to shower and went to wash my hair only to discover the shampoo was completely empty. I got out and stood, freezing in a towel, in my room to call down to the front desk. I called three times with no answer. So I got dressed and went downstairs with a towel wrapped around my hair, and waited at an empty front desk until the main employee guy came back from whatever he was doing outside. He got me a shampoo bottle and didn’t even apologize or say a single word about it. I resumed my shower only to realize there were two bottles of conditioner in place of any body wash. Overall I’m super disappointed and will never recommend this hotel to anyone, and my company travels to this area a lot for work.

With a procedure scheduled at the hospital for my husband - I needed to eat before we left. “Breakfast” was a joke! There were no knifes for the waffles or brea/ toast. When I asked, he just said no and shook his head. The “hot” water was cold and had a film in it. The donuts were old- glaze melted. OJ like water. Terrible!

Great for 1-night going to the airport early next day. Not a location that offers much more than that. On a corporate drive, right next to airport. Good room, good price. Extended parking $7 p/day. Flight leaves 6am tomorrow. Shuttle was available.

Worst Best Western hotel we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was served in dollar store paper plates and plastic forks. There were no ripe bananas, nor any other fruits. Not up to Best Western standards at all.

The hotel room is older and needs updating. Sheets felt itchy. Location is right across the airport so you hear the planes all the time (my fault). I often stay at Best Westerns, this one did not meet my expectations

This would have been a 4 or 5-star review except that: 1) The hotel manager changed my reservation without any warning. I had no idea until my family walked into our room and discovered it wasn't what we had reserved. We reserved a room that accommodated our specific sleeping arrangements, and they gave us something else that made our stay much less comfortable. The room itself wasn't bad...it just didn't align with our specific needs, and it wasn't what we reserved for that reason. 2) The hotel was missing the "easy to do" little things. For example, we had no soap in our shower, because the dispenser was empty. There was no pen or paper in the desk drawer for writing notes, so I had to run out to our car to find one. There were no serving utensils at breakfast, so we had to use our small plastic utensils to scoop the scrambled eggs and sausage (which is harder than it sounds). So, I'm subtracting a couple of stars primarily for changing my reservation without any warning (let alone asking me), and for being lazy with the little things after I was already annoyed with them for the bigger thing.

The worst! Filthy. Smelly. Disgusting. Never never again. Only merit is that it is across from the airport which is why we chose this hotel.

The hotel looked nice and updated, but there were various odors in the hallways and our room that made it less attractive. One of the vending machines was damaged and covered with newspaper, and the stairway from the second floor down to the dining area had alot of debris. This was soon after college graduation, so maybe that was part of it. The breakfast was ok. The eggs were powdered, and the bacon was precooked. But good waffles and cereal and other normal items. Lots of parking and very close to airport with a shuttle. note: the beds are possibly not quite standard sizes.

The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The van shuttle service to and from the airport was very efficient as the hotel is right across the street from the airport.

The shower curtain had brown stains. Blood stains behind the toilet on the wall. Toilet seat wouldn't stay secure and I asked to have it looked at, but no one ever did. I had to try to tighten the bolts underneath. It wouldn't stay. I'm 77 years old and it wasn't easy. Weird smell in the elevator area. Bed was very hard and we had trouble sleeping. Some of the desk attendants were difficult to understand. Vending machines were not working.

We had ants on the nightstands. We could not change rooms because they were booked. Housekeeping came and cleaned it as best as possible. We only had to stay for 6 hours. I hate ants.

There was some noise from the nearby traffic, which was a bit unpleasant. However, the room itself was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the simple breakfast was enough for a comfortable stay. One strange and frustrating thing did happen—one of my earbuds dropped onto the floor and mysteriously disappeared. I checked every corner of the room, but it was nowhere to be found, which left me both confused and annoyed. Overall, despite a few minor issues, my stay was good.

We stayed just for a quick overnight. Had to be up for an early AM flight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. My only reason for 4 stars is when I went to take a much needed shower there was no hot water,not even warm enough to jump in and out real quick. Beyond that the shuttle service was super convenient and they were ready as soon as we got to the front desk. I would stay again if need be.

Great place ,nice and very clean

Surprisingly one of the best stays EVER! I was only there for the night and I was very relaxed and felt safe. Staff were very pleasant and helpful!

Wont go again...very highly priced due to the graduation events in the area, though not worth even if it was much cheaper.

The property is currently under renovation. Excellent staff and services—I would like to mention the hotel's GM, Shri. Shri ensured that any issues were followed up on and addressed to the guest's satisfaction. We will stay when we visit Rochester in the future.
