Easy access to hotel and restaurants very close. Beds comfortable. Hotel Coffee is very dark roast. Breaskfast: more than continental - didn’t include gluten free. Better than average juice selection.

Appears to be a place where those addicted to meth stay. They say no smoking but I smelled smoking everyday. No one ever cleaned the room, broken furniture, no sitting area, view of a fake beach scene on a screen when lifted, view of the parking lot and expressway. Staff unhelpful, paid for an extra day so I could check out late the day I was actually leaving. Lady at the counter told me I could not check out until the next day. I left the room key, walked out and drove to the airport. I will never stay here again.
- 2/5
I like the location of the hotel it was super convenient There were a lot of things that didn’t meet our expectations, the cleanliness of the hotel, the price jump from the different days, the breakfast was not good and was often repeated.
- 3/5
The day and evening managers were very accommodating.
- 2/5
We were given a room that had not been made up. The next room we were given was atrocious. Previous tenant had smoked profusely in the bathroom, and the smoke smell lingered throughout the room. A full can of Lysol barely put a dent in the smoke smell. We were too exhausted to move to yet another room, and decided to live with it. Door did not lock without slamming it. Real safe.
- 0.5/5
Honestly nothing First of all, I was waiting 30 minutes for check in at front desk but nobody was present, I called and ringed many times but nobody answered. Second, after long wait, a person came and asked a lot of personal questions which was unrelated and disgusting. Then I got my room after almost 45 minutes. Finally, the breakfast was poor, the room smiled too bad, there were not toilet paper, no towels and the customer service was awful.

Comfortable beds Carpet on floor. Ew. And the room stank of cigarettes.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Room very clean
- 2.5/5
The elevator made a scary sound
- 2.5/5
- front desk guy was great - the mattresses were quite comfortable - for a non smoking hotel, the entire place reeked of marijuana - ice machine was moldy - elevator felt as if it could stop working at any moment - dirt on carpets and staircases, garbage in hallways - how can paid employees day after day just walk by broken fixtures and such in the rooms and throughout the building? Maybe it all happened the day I arrived?

Good hot breakfast (could have been hotter), spacious room, helpful staff, convenient access to goods and services

During a stay of four nights my room was never attended to/cleaned.

No hairdryer

Very nice staff and good breakfast
- 4/5
This may be the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the pillows, which I found uncomfortable and which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. This seems to be a common issue at many hotels. If you're particular about your pillow, it may be worth bringing your own just in case.
- 3/5
It was quiet.

The staff woman in the morning was very helpful. She actually brought up a replacement for the broken microwave and came back to help me get it put in the right place when I called back and told her I couldn't get it plugged in there. She also brought up coffee cups when I reported that there were no cups in the room. At least the bed sheets seemed reasonably clean, the blackout curtains worked, and the noise level wasn't too terrible most of the time. The room was very dirty and many amenities were broken or missing. There was really gross old moldy food in the freezer of my room's refrigerator. The microwave was broken. The night staff did not even try to replace the broken microwave when I called down and reported it. They said I should call back in the morning about a new one. I had to go down and heat up my dinner in the breakfast room microwave. And when I brought the moldy food downstairs to show them, the night staff disdainfully said I should report it to the manager in the morning or to the health department, like somehow it should be my job to do that. One of the night staff helped me with my bags, but then stayed in the room and talked my ear off for an hour when I had gotten in very late and just wanted to sleep. There was no "do not disturb" sign for my door, and I had to go down to the front desk to get one from the staff, after I had already reported the broken microwave and gotten no replacement. By the time I realized there were also no cups with the coffeemaker, just lids, I was too tired to go downstairs again to get cups. There was dirt in corners all over the room and bathroom, and a bunch of trash behind the dresser when I reached behind to plug in the replacement microwave the next day. It was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in, not up to the brand's standards at all, and was definitely not worth the over $620 I paid for two nights. The only reason I stayed at all was that there was no alternative during a college graduation weekend, so I was stuck. Because of that they got away with charging me ridiculous rates for an absolutely substandard room.

Extremely clean, when AC didn't work they immediately gave us a nearby room. The only concern is there are no safety bars in the bathroom

- 5/5
The room was ok but in desperate need of updates and repairs. The toilet in the bathroom was 1980s vintage with extremely low toilet, I am guessing a 13 or 14 inch high toilet seat, much too low for senior citizen’s comfort. The double toilet paper roll was hanging the was as if someone had tried to rip it out. There were poorly done shower repairs. In all, Not a welcoming experience.
- 1.5/5
location room , smelled moldy
- 2/5
1. The bathroom is pitiful- the toilet and sink are sized for midgets- the heights of each fixture are oddly way below the norm- I thought I was in an ADA room. 2. The bathroom fixtures were loose- connected to the plumbing only, and not the wall. 3. The bathroom needed a makeover. 4. The corridor smelled. The problem with Best Western is that it should be called Worst Western. The room decor is so out of date, worn and dirty looking. Next time- I think I'll take a pass.
- 5/5
They kept up with the cleanliness including common areas and breakfast was great. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Room was great, breakfast was very good! The staff were all very helpful. Great place to stay!
- 4/5
Overall, it is a decent budget friendly spot with more than adequate personal hygiene supplies, proximity to food/drinks and link roads around town. I enjoy a quiet two night stay with included breakfast provided each morning. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, staff very nice and breakfast was good rooms were nice and cool
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean room
- 5/5
Very nice experience. Had everything a traveler would need in the rroom ready. And availability of meals in the premises was good for family visiting. Thanks for your kind staff too. I will not mind booking with you again.
- 5/5
Well it was a run of the mill best western nothing fancy nothing bad. Until the morning of checkout i didnt put a do not disturb sign up house keeping knocked and was coming in i quickly said he please don’t come in, and the person with house keeping was so friendly and kind about the whole situation that interaction is what set this best western above the rest.
- 5/5
Everything was good the room was clean the bed was comfy
- 4/5
Was a bit of chaos checking in a one a long wait. But the attendant was nice and the property was clean. Good central location.
- 4/5
Room was clean but old. This property could use a remodel. We booked several rooms for family. Several of the doors did not close well. The bathrooms are tiny and have old bathtubs and small vanity. The staff was very friendly and kind. Walls & doors are thin so you could hear everything going on in hallway and rooms next to you.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
I have stayed there several times. It was not as clean and the breakfast was not good with limited options.
- 4/5
Decent lodgings. Skip the breakfast—yuck.
- 5/5
Always a great experience
- 5/5
I have stayed at this location twice due to my son attending RIT. This will be the only hotel i will frequent for 4 years.
- 3/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. Very friendly people. The outlets in my room didn’t work, except by the sink and by the bed. The outlet in those lamps did not work at all. Also, the microwave in the coffee maker were not plugged in when I looked to see if there was an outlet near them now that coffee maker and microwave was on display like if it was Walmart because I couldn’t use them. However, I move the microwave and plugged it in to the outlet by the bed that was in the wall. Breakfast is really not up to par. We have those round premade eggs and a few bagels with sausage basket the waffle maker, but again the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff is friendly.
- 1/5
Bug in bed, microwave broke, toilet broke twice, constant pot smell, bfast not edible, I moved to Country Inn which was great.
- 2/5
Waited for over 15 minutes for anyone to check me in. Then there was no hot water.
- 4/5
Overall ok for the price but the elevator floor a bit dirty, a bit noisy in the morning and I don’t like house keeper asks if we r leaving. Other than that, it’s ok
- 1/5
Zero customer care. Cold and transactional. Unhelpful and dismissive. Poor attitude and poor service.
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Lots of restaurants close by
- 3/5
They rented us a room that was having work done in the bathroom that was not finished. Refrigerator was not working, it was running but was not cold.. We were planning on using it, but had to rely on ice packs. It was ok, but stayed at better Best Westerns in the surrounding area.
- 1/5
I checked into the hotel at about 11pm. I booked a room with a king size bed. The room I booked hadn’t been cleaned so they offered a different room with 2 queens. When I got to that room, there were pillows with no pillow cases on them all on a pile on the bed and there were no clean bath towels. I had to call down for the pillow cases and towels. The next night, friends I was traveling with that booked another room at this hotel found a live mouse in their room. We all checked out immediately! At the time we were checking out, there were others chatting out for the same reason, a mouse in their room.
- 3/5
The hotel is on a stretch of road surrounded by many stores and restaurants, which I liked. The room was decent. The biggest problem I had were that almost half the outlets in the room were either not working at all, or so loosely held the plugs that the plug would just fall out. I use oxygen and brought my machine for overnight use and the charger for my portable unit, and I had to make sure the oxygen machine was plugged into a secure outlet. The outlet I had to settle on meant the machine had to be at the bathroom sink, and even then it wasn't totally secure. Other than that, the shower was nice, the breakfast items were good, and my boyfriend appreciated the car chargers in the front of the building. There were other hotels on the same street, if I were to stay in the area again, I might consider a different one.
- 3/5
Clean room, outdated and small though. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice.
- 1/5
Rats!! Don’t stay here
- 1/5
I didn't eat breakfast. parking was fine
- 4/5
Clean room, hot shower
- 4/5
Didn’t like that sink outside of bathroom
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, even at 12:30am. Our bathroom was a very tiny toilet+tub room with the sink in the main bed area, was ok for us, but would be impossible to get ready if one of you was still sleeping. Nice sheets, very tall beds. The condition issues were all just maintenance, cleanliness was good. The toilet paper holder and toiletry holders were both broken.
- 5/5
The room was old and outdated. The hall had a bad smell and so did the elevator. Elevator was dirty and needs repair.
- 4/5
Property is clean and front desk clerk was very helpful when my original room had a running toilet. She set me up with a new room right away-no questions asked.
- 3/5
They give me broken room the 1st night
- 1/5
Shower was slow to drain, toilet did not flush the first time. We stayed two nights and expected the bed to be made and have fresh towels but were told that when they are too busy they do not do that! What am I paying for them? Breakfast and coffee were horrible.
- 3/5
No one at the desk to check in. Had to wait for him to finish cleaning windows. The mattress needs replacing. The side was broken springs. Had to sleep in middle. Wash clothes were hard to come by. Housekeeping did not tend to our room the entire time we were there. We finally put the trash in the hall. Had to ask for additional towels. Breakfast was not appealing at all. Found an ice machine on floor 1 and 3. We were on 2. There were construction men outside our window with a bucket truck the entire stay. Noisy. Parking was limited. Too many spaces taken up for electric. Everyone who wanted to go to the chicken place next door parked in the hotel lot.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 1/5
There was a rat in my room on the second floor. Nightman said no other rooms were available but he found one when I went to sleep in my car. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
- 4/5
The room was good. The shower surround needed a good scub, very curious as to why that isn't done everytime a guest checks out. THe breaksfast was very good, but the breakfast attendant literally had a countdown of when it was over. 9:00 am! Her phone alarm went off. Prior to 9:00, she was putting everything away, very rushed. Parking was good, safe, lighted.
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable, microwave and coffee maker were unplugged. The internet cable on the tv was broken so we couldn’t relax in the evening if we wanted to watch tv
- 4/5
The staff was great and the rooms were clean. We were on the third floor. The bathroom is extremely small and the water in the shower never got hot. At best it was like warm.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel didn't look run down or tired like I felt.
- 5/5
you
- 2/5
The room said it had a microwave but there was no microwave. The refrigerator was barely cold, no way of adjusting it. There were only 2 towels despite the room able to hold 4 people. We had to ask for an extra towel. There was no body wash in the shower. We had to ask for more. When I called the front desk he was no answer. I had to walk to the front desk and while I was waiting the clerk came from outside. The elevator is disgusting and smells. The bathroom was very tiny with the sink outside the bathroom right by the door. Very strange. The room was clean enough but one night was enough for me.
- 3/5
I was told I did not book a larger room. After showing them my confirmation they still did nothing. The next day I asked about it again and was told that they did not have those rooms do to construction. Not once did anyone offer to refund me the differance. The room is what you get for the price. Made the mistake of looking under the bed. There was two miss matched shoes and a pack of Razors plus other junk.So that tells you how well they clean. Once again you get what you pay for. Unfortunately my work does not give us enough money to stay in nicer places....
- 5/5
Wonderful and Friendly Staff. Great Accommodations, including breakfast daily!!!!
- 1/5
Tv did not work in room, low on staff, front desk phone never answered, trash around the property my entire stay, room was decently clean
- 2/5
There was a constant smell of weed, the room had the shampoo holder off the wall, no clock in the room, the lamp that had the outlets didn’t hold the plug, the mattress did not stay in place. There was garbage that sat outside for 48 hrs. Just cancelled my future stay.
- 2/5
Breakfast was ok and room was not clean when we arrived.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, clean room very nice people.
- 3/5
Very basic hotel. Needs to be updated. Good location. Room was clean.
- 5/5
The room and bathroom were clean and free breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Clean hotel. Near a lot of stores and restaurants.
- 3/5
Place was fine for the price but certainly not nice.
- 3/5
Walls were thin and bathroom was very small. The room and lobby were very clean and the staff was exceptionally nice.
- 2/5
Bathroom was NOT GOOD. Toilet paper holder was not attached to the wall...just shoved into the WHOLE in the wall where it should have been. Shower was not working properly either...will not stay there again.
- 3/5
Not great
- 3/5
Didnt use them
- 3/5
Towel replacement was an issue, housekeeping does not replenish towels…you have to ask the supervisor to give them to you if you’re staying for more then one night, sink was not draining, maintenance did not fix it even though it was reported on the first day
- 4/5
Thank you
- 3/5
Room was decent .... mattresses are junk... almost went to Costco and bought a double mattress but it was too late at nighr
- 2/5
very noisy, doors slam hard, very noisy other people staying there was in and out all night, party 2 doors down till 2am, worst coffee ever, breakfast was gone by 8am, will never stay there again
- 4/5
Excellent stay, Bathroom remodel was very modern. Bed was very comfortable with 4 good comfy pillows. Told management about toilet handle sticking and running all night long unless handle was jiggled repeatedly or top of toilet tank removed & flapper put down manually. Also one of the electrical outlets on the lamp didn't work so my phone didn't charge overnight.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Staff were all very nice. My only complain is that there was no hot water during my stay, but they told me is was due to a problem they were fixing.
- 2/5
There was no hot water for a shower. There was only one person working the desk at check in and then again at breakfast the next morning. Definitely understaffed. The bathroom tub had mold all along the under side edges. You could hear people in the hallways very easily. Would not recommend.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room. Service folks were really nice. I would go there again. (The larger room is especially comfortable; I'd recommend it)
- 4/5
Put in a handicap room in which I didn’t ask for and for someone that is not handicap it was quite awkward. Breakfast was good friendly attendant.
- 2/5
Rooms were very dirty. If it wasn't so late when we checked in I would have looked for another hotel and demanded a refund.
- 4/5
The room was clean and well laid out. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast room "coffee" is a coffee product from syrup and hot water - horrible.
- 3/5
The room was OK, but I saw a couple of ants crawling on the night stand and the hotel phone! Also I got a room at the end of the hall, the WiFi reception was really bad that I couldn’t get connected properly and couldn’t do my online meeting, that was really frustrating. Lastly, when I reserve this place I saw the “free 2 hrs late checkout”, that’s the only reason I picked this place over others. But when I checked in they told me they didn’t get any information regarding that, on the next day morning they told me they can only do one hr. late check out, because they don’t have to honor a third party booking! After I made this reservation neither the hotel nor Expedia contacted me with this information. So my plan of the day got all mess up.
- 2/5
The bathroom was fine at first but on day 2 we started smelling a strong Marijuana odor coming from the vents system. Unclear where it was originating, but when I brought it to the attention of the front desk I got mostly brushed off. Not surprising since the lobby reeked of it most of the time as well. It was significant enough to affect the rest of our stay, and I would NEVER stay there again because of it!
- 1/5
It was just a misunderstanding and they didn't show proper hospitality.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond. The breakfast was better than I expected and there was ample parking. The location was very convenient. An incredible value for the rate! Will stay there again
- 4/5
Greg was very friendly and efficient during check in - even though the room type we booked (a larger room) wasn’t available.
- 5/5
Great Service and nice breakfast
- 5/5
Room was nice, breakfast was good and staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing and friendly. Room needed work as the light over the sink didn't work and the toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet, miscellaneous things. Otherwise a great location and a good, comfortable, quiet stay.
- 5/5
If it had a pool it would of been perfect 👌
- 5/5
It was great!!, very clean… enjoyed the breakfast. We will be coming back for our next visit
- 1/5
There was a mouse in our room.
- 5/5
Room was clean and relatively quiet. The free breakfast was good.
- 1/5
Upon check in front desk staff member was sitting in the lobby scrolling on his phone, no gave us keys, wifi password and we went to our room. It was clean but very worn and dated, stangest set up for a bath I've ever encountered in a hotel. Tiny little room held the toilet and shower, and outside was the sink which was incredibly low it hurt my back brushing my teeth. Tried to comnect to wifi, didnt work but didnt think too much about it as we were heading out for dinner. Returning to the hotel, I waited in the lobby to make sure i could connect with no luck. The front desk man told me it wasnt working but nothing to do with the hotel, it was provider's issue. Absolutely no information on a fix. This was extremely concerning to us as we are from out of the county so no cell service, and only rely on wifi. This should have been mentioned right at check in and given the option to cancel. Nothing was resolved the time we were there and speaking to another guest they said it had not been working their entire 5 night stay. I had family to contact and some work to get done and zero way of any communication. Went to take a shower and water was lukewarm at best. Called front desk and they offered to change us rooms but we were already unpacked and not going thru that later at night. Clearly no maintenance people on site. Turns out all rooms had the same issue anyway speaking to others the next day. Just a terrible experience right from the start and would never stay here again
- 1/5
Absolutely terrible stay! Initially put in a room with the smoke detector beeping. Then was transferred rooms to find no hot water (and no working phone to call the front desk)!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great room and staff
- 5/5
Everything good.
- 4/5
Room was clean.
- 1/5
We left -- there was visible mold on the ceiling and in the tub. The lever to move the water from the lower faucet to the shower head was missing. soap scum all in the soap dish in the shower. Water damage behind the toilet with wallpaper that was bubbling.
- 4/5
The hot breakfast was cold.
- 3/5
Now for my experience. The person at the front desk wasn’t overly friendly or welcoming upon check in. I didn’t take it personal as I checked in at 9 pm. Our room was at the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor. I could smell marijuana in the hallway and coming from the stairwell. It wasn’t strong in my room and my young teenager and I just wanted to get to bed. We got settled and around 10 pm a man tried to get into our. I said, “What do you want?!” and the guy said, “Oh, wrong room” and I heard him then knock on the door across the hall, voices of other men and a door close. Then my room started to smell like marijuana. I went to the front desk to report everything and the man at the front desk downplayed everything. He insisted I was safe because no one could get in and it was probably kids with a hockey team. He offered to move us but I had to move my luggage to the lobby first and turn in the old room keys before I was given a new room. The man seemed annoyed to do his job but after I moved my luggage into the lobby he did apologize. I didn’t sleep well because I could hear people going in and out of rooms near mine all night.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Beds were very comfy.
- 5/5
Great stay will return
- 3/5
The room needs updating the toilet seat was round on an oblong toilet bowl they had the wrong lid on the toilet back. No shampoo. The room itself was a nice size .
- 5/5
Clean room. Great stay. Front desk was super sweet and accomodating.
- 2/5
When we arrived, the room was not ready. I had to wait. When we got to the room, it didn’t appear as though there was a complete cleaning that was done. There were hairs on the bedsheets and they had to be completely redone. It didn’t look like they had staff to do it and the front desk person and another person had to do The ref fitting of the beds. We have stayed there in the past and it was a good economical option, but I’m not sure we can go back now.
- 3/5
Room wasn't bad, there was some small details that could be cleaned better but sheets and room were clean and comfy and room smelled nice when we walked in. Breakfast wasnt bad
- 5/5
Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean..the breakfast was a great way to start your day.I stay here often
- 1/5
Rude staff.
- 3/5
Overall stay was okay for what was needed. Room I was in previous guest smoked - the room was stink of smoke residue. For somone who has respiratory issues, the night was terrible, even with window open. Was not able to change rooms!
- 5/5
Best Western Marketplace is always my go to when I visit Rochester. As always, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff are always nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Room lighting is too dim. Three of four tabletop power outlets do not work. Only one outlet was available to charge three devices. Bathroom sink in entryway is weird. Will not stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, easy parking
- 1/5
I changed the room due to Bathroom ceiling was leaking. In addition, I found a mouse day after I moved to new the room. So I vacant the room at 7:00 am. Bathrooms were not fully functional in both rooms.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff were absolutely great. The hotel is not very new but overall it was clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Typical breakfast with plenty of choices. Great value and great people. We recommend.
- 5/5
fresh breakfast and free parking. Clean property and large room size
- 5/5
Like always, it’s great
- 1/5
Our laptop was stolen from our hotel room when we had a privacy sign on our door for no one to enter while we were out. This happens on 11/29/25. We filed a police report. All my husband's data was on his laptop.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful, but when we arrived at the room, the fridge had leftovers from previous guests.
- 3/5
While the hotel shows its age and there was a slight smell of cigarette smoke, the staff were exceptionally friendly, patient, and accommodating.
- 4/5
Spacious room, comfortable bed overall good experience
- 1/5
Microwave didn’t work and toilet flush was very weak.
- 4/5
The hotel was located on a fairly busy , sometimes noisy street. The area has plenty of stores around it as well as restaurants. The property has a fair amount of parking encircling the bldg. and numerous electric car charging stations out front. Inside is clean and neat , downstairs has a gym with barbells and machines with multi- stations and a stepper and treadmills. The breakfast area is large and offers juice , coffee , cereals , bagels and beads to toast , a waffle machine and hot food featuring sausage ( link or patty ) eggs ( omelets, scrambled) and usually potatoes. Biscuits and gravy one day as well. My suite room was a decent size and had a pull-out sofa couch although the cushions were worn and sank a bit. A frig that kept my drinks n food quite cold I appreciated ! The bed was firm and adequate, the water pressure was strong and the water hot as long as needed. The only demerit was the elongated toliet with a small "round " Toliet seat !! The toliet tank lid also didn't sit flat as the plumbing stuck up out of the tank...The staff was friendly and accommodating and overall I did enjoy my stay.

So good with this price! the room is clean and staff are polite and kind.
- 5/5
Didn’t eat breakfast there
- 5/5
All was good
- 4/5
Compatible to other motels in the area, facility reasonably clean. Above average updated furniture, comfortable bed, very good hot breakfast included. A+ for hospitality; well managed and staff works hard to accommodate. Places to eat nearby walking distance.
- 3/5
Toilet was not clean.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable.

- 4/5
The staff was courteous.... the room was a good value.
- 2/5
Please was a dump. Asked if there were any different room/ I was told they were sold out of rooms- but there was literally an empty parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, front desk ok
- 1/5
The bathroom ceiling collapsed during the night with water leaking down into the bathroom and running into the rest of the room. My husband had to be relocated in the middle of the night. We would like a refund.
- 5/5
Aniche, Robin, Cynthia and rest of staff were so friendly and welcoming!
- 4/5
Clean good staff

Bathroom can be more cleaner.

Very clean and the breakfast was great
- 4/5
Good budget hotel close to RIT and restaurants & shops
- 3/5
Price gauging for local events at the colleges - terrible business model. I paid $400 for a night when it is normally $150-$180. The breakfast menu used to be better with healthy alternative like yogurts, fruits, bakery items, and more selections. Now, its simply sausage, eggs, and potato fritters. Changed for the worst. It's horrible to be charged more only to get much less than before. This may be my last time staying here unless the prices and services get better.
- 5/5
Clean room, just no shampoo and conditioner this time, we only stayed one night, so it's not a big deal, overall it's a comfortable place, we will stay in this hotel again when we in Rochester
- 5/5
The room was good, could be updated a bit with brighter paint. The breakfast was good, wish there was a fruit mix out. Cantaloupe, pineapple, Mellon mix maybe.
- 4/5
Our room was not cleaned while we were there and we did not get fresh towels . There was a large clump of hair we had to remove from the drain in order to shower. There were some technical difficulties while checking in, however the front desk worker made it right.
- 2/5
The beds were comfy enough and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast looked decent, we had other plans. For the cost ($237/night) we expected a clean room! We understand mice can be a problem but make sure there’s not traps and dead mice in the rooms before you rent a room out!
- 2/5
We had chocolates in the room refrigerator and disappeared. Also the mattress was damaged and the shower had the drainage damage.
- 4/5
It was ok for a quick stay
- 4/5
close to airport
- 1/5
Mattress was very old and spring was coming through the sheet. Air conditioning was cold, heater only worked to get the room to 65 and then it would shut off. Again no one answered front desk phone. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Shampoo and conditioner was empty so bring your own because no one answers at the front desk. Walls are thin and you’re able to hear conversations from your neighbor. So use white noise to drown out the sounds. Breakfast was okay but staff was concerned we came 45 min before closing and told us frequently they were closing. I would not recommend
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Our 2 night stay (Saturday and Sunday) at the Best Western was what we'd expect for the price we stayed in that local area. The facilities are older and while clean furnishings were definitely dated. Our bathroom facilities consisted of a 5' x 5' room with a toilet and small tub with shower. Diverter didn't work so shower was on whenever water was running, small sink was in the bedroom. Coffee and juice were food but rest of breakfast just OK. Hot items unattractive. Same items could have been better warmed - definitely sub fast food chain fare. In the local market it was good value and we would return.
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 4/5
Clean room, neighbor was very loud at 9pm
- 3/5
The beds uncomfortable. The toilet lopsided. Needs a major bathroom upgrade. Good location. Staff were pleasant.
- 4/5
Very easy to find from the airport. No flight noise, but the busy street noise was apparent until 9:00. Then, everything settled down. Good stay for the price.
- 5/5
Staff are very friendly.
- 4/5
The place was conveniently located to the comedy club we went to the area for. There are also a lot of shops close. The elevator wasn’t working for some of our stay there. The walls are pretty thin and we could hear everyone around us. Bathroom was a little dated but not a terrible place to stay for a night.
- 4/5
Shower was great!! Room was clean. Decent. Will visit again
- 3/5
The toilet was so low to the ground, my wife had all she could do to get up off it. My wife and I found the room sub-standard. We have friends that are young people and they got a better deal from Expedia than we did. Just sayin'
- 4/5
It was a comfortable stay. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great and delicious coffee. It was easy to find and the staff was very helpful when we had questions would definitely book again and recommend.
- 2/5
Rooms and bathroom were not cleaned. Ripped sheets. Unfriendly staff.
- 5/5
Parking and restaurants in walking time
- 3/5
I stayed before but this time my niebors were so noisy and couldn'tsleep... Other then that everything else was good...
- 4/5
Good value for money
- 5/5
I will admit I was very skeptical after reading all of the reviews, but I took a chance, and was pleased with my stay. The rooms were clean, staff was professional, and it was quiet. I would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
I would stay again
- 3/5
It was good enough for a couple of nights, but had to listen really rowdy and vulgar college students with no consideration for others
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly and helpful! All day and night coffee. The breakfast was also hot, freshly made and good! I wish they had non pork meat! We are both Allergic! We loved our stay!💜😇💜
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Hotel is older but was clean, staff was short but hardworking and efficient
- 5/5
I loved it here. The staff was so nice and it was very clean and cozy
- 5/5
It was nice and clean
- 5/5
Wonderful staff and breakfast.
- 5/5
Gregory was the most excellent staff person!
- 3/5
Stuck in the past .. like for 20 years… breakfast was barely breakfast…
- 5/5
All goid
- 5/5
I was super comfortable at this hotel, thank you! My room was situated on the ground floor just off the lobby, which made it convenient. Parking was always available right by the front door. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, CVS, Starbucks. Clean room, friendly staff. Only downside was the breakfast wasnt real flavorful. But it's there.
- 4/5
Our stay was good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us. Great selection of breakfast items every morning. Room was cleaned every other day during our 5 day stay.
- 4/5
Nice stay for the price. Location convenient for U of R visit. Mattress not great, but good enough.
- 4/5
One of the drawers was not cleaned well.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and helpful, specially on 21st morning, morning shift staff Geoffrey (maybe Gregory)walked to the parking lot to help me find my car, since I parked my car in the night, couldn't remember where did I park and panicked thought my car got towed, I was really appreciate his patience and kindness.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
Everything about this property was excellent.
- 5/5
I always stay in this property when I visit Rochester NY. It’s not the most fancy property it it’s clean and the price is affordable. The staff are always nice.
- 3/5
Good area but not good service
- 5/5
Great location, close proximity to many things. Staff was quiet but friendly. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
Horrible all the way around
- 2/5
Pillows in the bed felt like never changed for years, mattresses are so bad we couldn’t have good sleep. Breakfast should be until 9 but at 8:30 half of the stuff gone, when we asked for
- 3/5
Found two hairs in bathtub, but otherwise clean & well kept up.
- 1/5
Beware of leaving a day or two early on prepaid stays. Once these folks get your money, you will never see a refund for paid nights not used. Manager was no help.
- 4/5
Overall good stay. Clean and comfortable, but the rooms were dated.
- 4/5
Was a last minute reservation and it was a good value for the price. Nice beds, quiet, places to eat very close. Easy highway access.
- 4/5
Convenient location to Rochester. Many restaurant options nearby.
- 3/5
Bathroom is small
- 4/5
Everything was good. Not great but good. Best I could find for the price.
- 4/5
Smoke detectors went off twice (someone smoking) elevator doors stuck several times.
- 4/5
The only downsides to this experience were (1)the check in staff person was a little unwelcoming (but did what was necessary to get me checked in), (2)my room was on the back side of the eating area, so it was a little noisy in the morning, and (3) the bathroom sink was in the main room with no storage area underneath, so amenities like the blow dryer were non existant. Everything else was really good.
- 1/5
Front desk no people. Find people to wait 5/6 min or more. Elevator is slow working.
- 2/5
Second room was ok. Got to ved at 1 am. 4 am super loud alarm went off. Went into hallway to see what the alarm was since it didn't sound like typical fire alarm. Other hotel guests doing the same thing. We all decided we should get our families and go outside. No hotel staff were around to inform of what was going on. Finally, 10 min or so later, fire trucks showed up. Still no one spoke to guests. Front desk clerk stepped out front door on phone then went inside and we never saw her again after that. When firemen went back to trucks we all decided it was ok to go back in. No explanation by anyone, including firemen. They loaded up and left. Some people had to wait around to get room keys from desk clerk. Luckily I had taken mine with me. Needless to say after 10+ hours of travel and very rough night, my kids and I did not have a restful stay.
- 5/5
The hotel was very convenient to wveything
- 3/5
Mattresses need to be replaced. They sag on.one side.
- 3/5
low maintenance and half the stuff in the room (like microwave) wasn't working
- 3/5
My room felt damp, even the bed sheets. Maybe it’s due to the humidity in Rochester, where I live it’s not nearly as humid, but it just wasn’t very comfortable.
- 1/5
I reserved a 3-night stay at this property weeks in advance. On the day before my scheduled arrival, I notified the property that I would be a late arrival. I arrived at the property after a long journey at 11:45PM. The front desk confirmed my reservation then told me that the hotel was already 100% full and there was no room for me; "you might try the hotel next door or across the street to see if they have a room available". That was it. No other assistance offered.
- 4/5
No comment at this time
- 1/5
Did not like staff that checked me in. He is chummy with people that are not staying in the hotel. These people were loitering outside on property. Had to move my car to safer area. They kept going in and out of the lobby. Feared for safety of my family checking on the vehicle
- 3/5
Stayed here for one night during my week-long trip to NY, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel compared to the others I stayed at. First, they didn’t even verify my credit card at check-in, unlike every other hotel I visited. Second, the breakfast was very disappointing — the waffles tasted sour, there were no eggs or sausages, and no juice offered. Other hotels like Holiday Inn and Sleep Inn had much better breakfast options. Overall, a very poor experience and I will not be returning to Best Western again.
- 3/5
Sorry but I've stayed at better places. No washclothes, dirty carpeting, refrigerator had to be cleaned out of frost, no soap at sink, cleaners were taking care of rooms till late in the afternoon. Not a very nice stay.
- 4/5
Easy stay with friendly staff.
- 4/5
Nice stay for money.
- 4/5
Room well-cleaned. Could use better fitting bottom sheet for king size bed as it kept shifting.
- 3/5
The room on the first night may not have been cleaned. The room was filled with musty and damp smells, especially the bathroom and the closet. There were long curly hairs on the wall of the bathtub. I moved to a different room the next day. The room smelled normal and fresh. For breakfast on the first day, I soaked Cherrios in milk and had a slightly bitter taste. I made a waffle for breakfast on the second day, but it tasted sour. The waffle I made on the first day tasted normal. During the two days we stayed at the hotel, the outdoor temperature exceeded 95 degrees. Food can easily deteriorate and spoil if it is not refrigerated. I have stayed at Best Western Hotels in different places, but I have never had such an unpleasant experiences.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Decent hotel at a reasonable price.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Great location close to everything.
- 5/5
Great stay! Lovely breakfast
- 2/5
No bar of soap at sink, dispenser in shower empty, no a/c in hallways or elevator, a/c in room good, but room had a pair of UNDERWEAR on floor by bed ,NOT belonging to us, so gross! Food just ok
- 5/5
It was perfect! Close to good dining, easy to get to campuses and shopping. There is even a wonderful natural health food store right outside which is perfect for me. We had cuisine from 3-4 nationalities over two days. The new coffee house next door is so amazing we almost missed our train grabbing cups to go!!! Try the Dubai Chocolate!!!
- 1/5
Needs total renovation
- 5/5
The stay was fine. Only thing that i wish was they offered complimentary bottles of waters
- 4/5
Lackluster breakfast, for a so-called hot breakfast. Dry little egg patties.
- 5/5
Good property. Close to highway when someone’s traveling from NYC to Buffalo and need a rest stop.
- 5/5
Nice clean room with microwave and fridge nice staff
- 2/5
Sticky floors, nasty smell, empty shampoo and soap bottles.
- 1/5
Not good at all i don't think i would go there again
- 3/5
Stayed four nights - no housekeeping. Asked about it at checkout and was told they don't do housekeeping unless you ask for it. Just tell people that when they check in.
- 5/5
My family and I stayed three nights and it was a great stay. The hotel offers breakfast with a variety of choices. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay again. The hotel is close to a variety of restaurants and not far from airport. We only wish the bathroom was bigger as it was small with no counter space, otherwise it was a great stay.
- 2/5
The room was not as advertised, Furniture was old and uncomfortable, rug was sticky in spots, odd smell, Bathroom tiny, Towel rack broken although the linen was generous and clean. I guess the upside was that there were no bugs/pests.
- 4/5
It was very conveniently located and easy to find
- 2/5
The front desk person was friendly but did not explain that they would charge 100 to the card I gave for possible purchases and you wouldn't get it back for at least 4 days. The bathrooms are the smallest I have ever seen. The items on the breakfast bar were either under or over cooked. The room was not very clean.
- 3/5
The check in was definitely a disaster, we were assigned a room on the first floor, given the keys and then walked into a dirty uncleaned room. We were given another room and itself was definitely awkward, the bathroom was like an RV with the sink outside of the bathroom in which that was also small. when we entered the room, it smelled musty.
- 5/5
Nice room
- 5/5
Perfect stay for 1 night in Rochester. Breakfast was good. The staff were so kind and helpful.
- 1/5
Not very good.
- 4/5
Room was generally clean and comfortable. Wash cloths were wet upon arrival, bath towels were missing and no bath mat was present. Shower was clean and water was ample and hot. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and serve yourself. Hotel location was great for access to RIT and restaurants.
- 5/5
A convenient place to stay while I was in Rochester from out of town for medical care.
- 3/5
Staff is friendly!
- 5/5
Very nice staff at this location, cleanly maintained, friendly staff. I would certainly recommend this place.
- 3/5
Only 2 bath towels for 3 people and very little toilet paper. Refrigerator did not work. TV was nearly impossible to figure out. Room was clean.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Good enough
- 4/5
Quick check in. Was able to get a room on the first floor as we were just staying one night. Bathroom shower was renovated. Don’t understand why there wasn’t soap for the sink. Bed was clean. Was able to get extra pillows. Looked clean. Gym had a station to get water. Breakfast was good. They should have healthier options though (no fruit). Hotel was near restaurants and stores - 10 minutes from Costco gas.
- 3/5
Location perfect; accessible to restaurants, shopping and the highway. Property average. Breakfast options are bare minimum.
- 4/5
The bath room needs work
- 2/5
There was a mouse in my room. There were other things I was unhappy about but I think having a mouse in your room really doesn't require more to be said.
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Great Stay!
- 2/5
Staff complained about everything from cleaning to refilling breakfast stuff to front desk check in and help, honestly I don’t know why you’d work in the service industry if you’ve a problem with serving. The linen were dirty and had to ask for new sheets but it came with attitude. Then there’s people from the chicken restaurant next door smoking weed behind the building doors on their breaks and blocked the side entrance for hotel guests.
