Spectacular stay, couldn’t want for anything more. Everyone super friendly from top to bottom. Breakfast buffet outstanding. Came for a small wedding gathering, would come back anytime. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Shower is a slip and slide accident waiting to happen and for a 78 yr old a bit scary! Parking under the building is very limited and it is a blind drive. We pulled in one night found no spots open and no way to turn around so we had to back out around two corners. We finally parked in a back lot that was poorly lighted…a little spooky! After arriving we were surprised to learn parking was $10.00/ night, then we noticed on the in room tv property advertising that parking was “complimentary”. After complaining we were credited back our parking fee. Our last night there the maid left no coffee in the room so I had to get dressed and go downstairs to get my coffee. The property is clean.

Super clean. Comfortable bed. Easy adjacent parking. Friendly staff. Very close to Carillion clinic if you’re there for treatment it’s walkable or super short drive to the parking garage.

Desk Manager terrible (Sherria), rude and not helpful. Unpleasant attitude and dismissive of any concerns particularly billing!. Charged me a 20$ fee and a $40 fee for what was suppose to be $20 nightly for incidentals? She is offensive and unprofessional...

Very comfortable bedding. The front desk young man was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was perfect! One thing that I noticed that was something that I didn't like. When cleaning staff worked in the mornings and afternoon, the hallway reeked of marijuana, very strong consistently during the cleaning. Elevators also smelled the same.

The hotel was convenient to our driving route and the are was cute. Our Mountain View room overlooked an empty lot. It seemed like some amenities were missing from the bathroom (hair dryer, hand soap for the sink) we only stayed 1 night so these were not a big deal.

We had to change our room twice because of mildew smell and a broken heating system (I am not the type who changes rooms very often). Location is great but we will look elsewhere in future. Linens were not changed when we got to the room, and staff took an action immediately. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was forgotten, may be!

Close to relatives. Food was good and staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Parking was difficult if you returned late, however it was Thanksgiving

Super close to the hospital. Every staff member i engaged was friendly and courteous. Ended up having to extend our stay and staff made our stay so much easier. From extending the stay to meeting an extra blanket.Everyone I encountered was super friendly , super helpful and we will be staying again as needed when we have to go to the hospital. They do even offer a shuttle service from the hospital to the hotel and back

I definitely liked the location,( family here due to family member being patient at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital). We are not familiar with the city so that was a huge help having something close by. We also enjoyed the breakfast & the options that were offered. Also we were able to Door Dash in the evenings & had no delivery issues. My only disappointment was the internet. We were not able to really stream on laptop/ipad. It didn’t really work either on the television in the rooms. With such nice rooms/location/views, upper management really need to push for getting better quality internet access.

Room was big, bed was comfortable, trundle was great for our 12 yr old instead of pullout couch & loved the windows in the Mountain View room. Cons were lack of supplies - there was a nice little kitchen area but offered only 2 tiny plastic cups, no soap or towels for the sink, trash cans had no bags & too ring for takeout trash, internet painfully slow & bathroom nice size but 3 towels only, needed a full scrub down & working exhaust fan. For the price it needed to be fully stocked.

Spacious separate living room. More warm lighting options, as the overall space (living room specifically) felt cold and sterile. We had to talk to staff several times to solve room assignment and billing errors, but every staff member was extremely kind and helpful.

The hotel was upgraded and smelled fresh. The grounds were clean. The breakfast station was really eye appealing. Overall everything was good. However the pool was so cold. I feel the heater was not working. All the families were shivering in the water. I did not like the fact the water was so cold in the pool area. However the pool was clean and gym area too.

Well convenient was key as i was there for an appointment with carilion. The room seemed like a generic room as it needed updated, the desk was wrapped, the carpets needed cleaned as we found food under bed and heating unit, very loud as they're doing construction inside and out. Everything in lobby was the highlight. Probably wont stay again until completely remodeled and construction was completed. I definitely don't feel was worth money as i stay in Roanoke twice a month. Definitely will go back to another hotel.

Arrival was efficient and very friendly. April at the front desk was super. Every hotel needs an April. Great, clean room. Parking deck on the ground floor made it easy to bypass the lobby upon returning to room. Breakfast had a good variety hot and cold items. The bar I. The sofa bed was horrible! I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it. Disgusting! I asked for another room. No rooms. Just a sorry and do I need more towels! Will never return to this dump! Total waste of money!

We thought the room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was tiny but still nice for the kids. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good as well. We would definitely stay again.

The bad. One of the treadmill was not working. No out-of-order sign on machine. Spent 5 minutes wiping it down, then tinkering to input desired workout only to realize machine doesn't work. Reported it to front desk. No sign was put on machine so someone else will spend time wiping it down to learn after the fact that it doesn work. Switched to other treadmill. TV on the working treadmill powers on, but something doesn't work so no channel comes on. Kept telling me to press a button, but nothing happen when button pressed. Reported it to front desk. Still wasn't working rest of my stay (6 days). Gym was icy cold, perfect for workout. It also had two yoga mats which I used for post-run stretch. Water with orange slice next to elevaor (close to gym) was refreshing post workout or after an outing where temps was warm. Decent breakfast. Didn’t use the pool, but saw other family (children) enjoyed it. Would definitely stay again. My family stayed at another hotel. They checked into hotel I stayed at because of flight cancellation. They preferred this hotel.

I booked a King suite with a Mountain View. It was incredibly comfortable. I loved the tall windows. There is a ball field just across the way and office buildings, etc, so bear that in mind when you think “mountain view”. I did watch a bit of a little league ball game for a few minutes from my window. Lol. The hotel is just a few minutes away from great restaurants in town. I really loved the parking garage under the building! The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. The seating area very spacious. Breakfast was pretty good. I looked at staying at restaurants in town but to get this sort of spacious room would cost a lot more money downtown. I highly recommend this place. It was less than a 5 minute drive to Lucky restaurant which is fantastic. I would definitely stay here again. I might not pay the extra money for the Mountain View next time, but, I definitely loved the room. I imagine one of the other King suites would have suited me just as well. I came to the area for hiking, and the location of this hotel is very handy to the highway. I liked this hotel’s proximity to downtown for restaurants and yet it was not a terribly long drive to the McAfee Knob trailhead.

Well, for one, I was worried about sound as I could hear neighbors room outside our room. The noise disappeared inside our room. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound insulation. Friendly staff, the bartender was super friendly and personable. Tony was definitely a highlight of the stay. The front staff member was also very friendly. I think name was Ari.

Only complaint is the mattress needed replacing. It was not supportive and sagged in the middle. Manager was doing double duty as bartender and checkin, so there was a slight wait to checkin

Design of room was very nice, quiet, and in a great location close to everything. Room could have been cleaner. Cheese powder smudges on couch and someone’s socks from a previous guest still in the drawer. TVs and mirrors were smudged. More attention to detail by housekeeping needed.

Great spot for a walk after a busy day working in town. Close to hospital, rooms updated and food decent. Corners in bathrooms were dirty meaning they weren’t “ really” cleaning everything.

I cannot say enough about the accommodating, hospitable, gracious staff of this hotel. When we arrived, the water pump of our motor home, went out, so the front desk assistant, extended our stay until the vehicle was repaired. Then, my wife (who is recovering from 2 surgeries) had some swelling in her knee, and needed transportation to the emergency room. I cannot say enough about the accommodating, hospitable, gracious staff of this hotel. When we arrived, the water pump of our motor home, went out, so the front desk assistant, extended our stay until the vehicle was repaired. Then, my wife (who is recovering from 2 surgeries) had some swelling in her knee, and needed transportation to the emergency room. The maintenance supervisor, took her to the emergency room, while I waited at the hotel for the vehicle repair. Clean, quiet spot.

I have stayed here before and am always pleased. It is quiet and clean. Centrally located to easy to get around.

The reason for the review was because at 1 am the fire alarms went off. We all exited the facility and the fire department showed up. We were never told what it was or why the alarm went off. Definitely not a fun night and at least let us know what was going on.

I choose this Marriott because it was close to the Roanoke hospital i was visiting. Never have i stayed in such a perfect in every way hotel. The room quiet even on the holiday. I loved how very clean everything was. All staff were extremely helpful, I'm disabled. Nice breakfast. Was able to get shuttle to hospital. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here one night and that was enough. The first room we were assigned to was very stuffy and smelly. Although the second one was better, it was barely better. The sofa had stains all over it and the deodorizier smell was very noticable. Breakfast was nothing special but acceptable. We thought a Marriott would be better than this. Not sure how Hotels.com gave this a 9.2 rating. Nothing we experienced here warranted that rating.

Over priced

Small under hotel parking garage was nice but a bit crowded, only held about 20 cars so sometimes difficult or tight squeeze for parking. Staff was very kind, area is kind of out of the way but close to downtown Roanoke and within 10 mins of shopping center so ok location if you are driving. Pool was salty which was a surprise and smaller than it looked but was still ok for kids to play in and well kept. Breakfast was excellent each morning, very much worth it. Clean, friendly, and comfortable. Would stay again if I was in the area

The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. This was my second time staying there and both times were pleasant experiences.

New, clean and inviting! Shuttle service was much appreciated!

Seem less checking and room met expectations

Refused to take Corilion Ronoke Hospital voucher unless SpringHill was called first. Not made aware of this requirement when online seeking accommodation close to the hospital. Persons in hospital Help Centers were not aware of this requirement either. Without prior notification, people with valid reasons to be close to the medical facilities appear to being victims of an unethical practice.

Jim who drove us to and from our destination was awesome! He took great care of us

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very spacious and we liked the separate living room sofa area. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the breakfast bar was great. Lots of food options. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

This is the most AMAZING hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!! So amazing, I’m making this my #1 on my list of hotels. It’s spacious, very comfortable, breathtaking view of the mountains, clean, great breakfast, great staff, peaceful, just all together BEAUTIFUL 🤩! The front desk staff was always available to answer questions. The hotel was close to everything I needed to be at and easy to find my way. The room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was always hot with a nice variety. Tables were clean and the buffet counters were clean. The staff made sure the breakfast foods were always replenished.

Everything went great until after I had been granted late arrival someone called and was extremely rude to my spouse. I still had 2 hours left till the lady at registration gave me at checkin. No need to be so rude, not professional whatsoever.

This was a decent hotel to stay at. The breakfast was a good spread, complete with a waffle maker. The bed was lumpy and uneven but thankfully I can sleep well anywhere so it wasn't a huge issue for me. My room was very spacious with separate area for a couch and extra tv. The bathrooms were clean; the water pressure was low but it had the built in shampoo/conditioner/body wash, which was nice so that I didn't have to deal with tiny little bottles. It's about a mile away from downtown so it was still convenient to get around. Not much around the hotel so you'd definitely need a car or Uber if you want to get out.
