Very clean room. Shower was great. Breakfast was as expected. Bagels, cereal, yogurt, muffins. All good.

I like the style of the rooms. The rooms are clean, and the amenities are nice. The gym is also nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The check in process was lacking.. Just got asked to see my ID and then got handed my roomkey without even telling me my room number or where the elevators were. I wouldnt say they were rude but not welcoming or friendly at all.

No coffee or hot water machine in any of the rooms. There is a microwave and small fridge. But if you want coffee tea late at night or early in the morning, you have to go down to the breakfast area to get it, hoping they have a fresh pot of hot java or hot water. Breakfast was worse than no breakfast. No eggs of any kind, no waffles, some pre-packaged muffins and silos of cold cereal but that was about it. Very spartan breakfast. On the plus side the room was nice, the beds and pillows were super comfortable, the TV was huge, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the desk area had lots of connection points. Desk chair, though, was plastic and uncomfortable with round rivets on the seating area sticking up on the edges. Solved by putting a pillow on the chair.

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. Our issue was that there was no ice machine,no cups in the room, the lighting was poor. Also, there were a refrigerator and a microwave, however they were not plugged and had to be moved to reach an outlet. The breakfast was very basic and the yogurt machine was not working

Very bad check-in experience, the lady at the front desk was rude, the first room was occupied, had to go back to get the other one, the lady said nothing. Don’t recommend the hotel

What a surprising stay! Just came in randomly while driving to mass and could not have been happier with our stay. The woman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming who worked the evening of June 2nd 2026 (can’t remember her name) and our room was spotless. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the tv had Netflix which was another bonus. Would absolutely return and highly recommend!

We had an absolutely excellent stay! The rooms are amazing, super clean, super big which was excellent with my 5 year old, comfy beds. From check in to check out we could not have had a better stay.. except 2 things and it was absolutely not a deal breaker. 1. Have pay for parking 2. Have to pay for wi-fi. So many other hotels have both free. If not going to be free, it needs to be better stated when making reservations.

OUR ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY KIND, POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL!

It was a late arrival (around 9:00 pm). I waited in the lobby for over 25 minutes. I attempted to call the front desk multiple times to see if I could get some service, and although I could hear the phone ring in the front desk, there was no assistance. Finally someone showed up and I was greeted with “were the one calling?”. Needless to say the lady’s attitude was combatant and insulting. The agent changed her attitude once I mentioned that I was a Hilton honors member. I understand this is a budget option to the Hilton brand, but it reflects poorly to their standards. Throughout my stay of 4 days, I noticed lack of up keep in the common areas (trash in the floor, and trash cans overflowing and not being emptied). As a retired airline employee, I can only think this is location mismanagement, my experience with Hilton properties has always been a positive one, however I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The new look was great! I had no hot water the last day. I was told by the desk that that happens a lot in the morning. Had none up until checkout.

They over charged me by $50.00 dollars, whiteout any valid reason.

More thorough cleaning and addition of a hot continental breakfast foods would make a significant difference in ratings. Staff is nice. Access to laundry service is great.

We got in lare adrer a delayed flight. Christine checked us in she was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was okay abd the room was ckean and we had a good night rest.

Great stay. Clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff. Great location to downtown Roanoke and to visit the Roanoke star (it’s beautiful at night. Gotta get there right before dark). Ample amount of parking space. Only downside, had to pay a $5 parking fee for booking through a third party. Fee was in total for both me and family member rooming with me. That was my error for not reading fine print before booking. Would still come back and stay. Thank you for a great stay for my family and myself

I loved my time at the Spark! I had to extend my room several nights on a day by day basis and they were so friendly and accommodating! I loved my room, very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend, especially if you are spending more than a night or two in Roanoke. It’s very affordable for the quality of care you receive.

There is not a lot of parking, so plan accordingly. We were lucky enough to get the last spot when we got there after going to a bar late at night. The door is a really hard close even on the accessible room my friend stayed in. The amenities were great, you can tell the building is very new! Most of the staff were amazing, and everything was very clean!

Property is very clean and staff was super friendly. Only issue was we were told at checkin that Expedia oversold the 2 queen bed room we selected, so they offered us a suite which was a king bed (super comfortable) and a full size sleeper sofa - unfortunately not comfortable for my daughter and teenage granddaughter. Would definitely stay again and hope to get the room we select.

Roanoke Airport.

This was a great place to stay for a reasonable price. It was very clean, no issues in the room, breakfast was sufficient and better than most continental breakfasts. I appreciated the "menus" with ideas for mixing items for a creative breakfast.

Worked well for our weekend at a dance competition held at the Berglund Center. Clean room, nice bathroom, room size very nice, adequate breakfast and close to a variety of restaurants.

I was told 2nd and fourth floors when we were going out to dinner When we got back I went to our room to get the ice bucket to get ice and I couldn’t find it anywhere I then called to front desk and then was told buckets were at front desk Why wasn’t I told that originally Had to go back down to get it and then look for machine on 2nd floor Wasn’t told where it was so I walked up and down hallways and then found it right by elevator Then we went to take pills before bed and guess what no glasses. Then was told they were also at front desk Certainly wasn’t going down again Very inconvenient

We were led to believe we were getting a digital key and could forego the front desk. We checked in online, and yet had to do it all over again at the front desk.

Elevators so thin cart almost didn't fit in it. Column in front of elevators blocks getting cart in on right side. Bagels and one muffin at 8 am. Asked if there were more muffins and she said no. Horrible. Charge for parking, not like they were in the city, plenty of spots. Pillows on bed too soft and had a mini fridge no microwave. Had a steel chair at desk, not comfortable. Pulled out ottoman which was too short for desk but better than a steel chair. Put the chair near bed for phone, wallet etc. Desk opens up but it blocks thepath in front of the bed. Design of room was horrible. Room was very small. Outside building looks like a cheap commercial building. Will not stay in a cheap Hilton hotel again. How can you not have enough food for all of your guests. Shame on Hilton or the Management that runs that place. Do not recommend this hotel.

They charged $5 for parking. Bedding smelled like old perfume. i e. Filthy. Online they advertised a good breakfast as well as coffee. But when we went down for breakfast, you had to buy your breakfast at the front desk if you wanted anything besides cereal or bagels. There is no coffee maker in the room, even though the picture made it look like they had it. NEVER AGAIN.

I had a problem with the reservation. The expedia show correctly and bill me, but the hotel said it was cancelled. I had no make a new one and was billed twice. Please make a refund of the extra reservation charged on my card

The AC won't go down past 68 so the room wouldn't get that cool. Water pressure in shower was low too. Rooms are smaller than I expected.

The hotel and staff were rally nice, the breakfast bar was limited, and the area was a little more remote and it seeemed just kinda stuck there, but overall i would recommend this place. Just beware there is a $50 hold that is returned if no damage but it wasnt mentioned on the site or when i checked in. I had to go ask why my bill was $50 more expensive then it was supposed to be.

i was only there for a quick overnight stay to break up a long drive. the room was mostly clean, but there were water bottle caps on the floor, hair in the sink and the tissues had been arranged to make it look like a fresh box but there were only 4 in there. other than that, it was fine and i’m sure i’d stay again.

This is a very nice motel. It’s clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this motel.

Lovely stay

Stayed at Spark by Hilton for a quick trip and it was exactly what I needed. The room, hallways, and common areas were very clean. It’s not full of extra bells and whistles, but it was perfect for a short stay and quick turnaround after my flight. The shuttle service to the airport was super convenient and made travel stress-free. Great option if you’re looking for something simple, clean, and easy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Spark. The desk attendants were very friendly even when we checked in at 1:00am. The hotel is pretty new so everything is still in great shape. The room was comfortable and perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

All new rooms and very well renovated

Arrived at 1800 to a sign at the front desk saying “be back soon”. Waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive at front desk to check us in. Called front desk number and it just rang. After 15 minutes 2 women came out from the back office. Not very friendly and seemed very annoyed to be doing her job.

Very loud door closures. Mattress and pillows were average. Lobby and breakfast very clean. Limited breakfast with nothing hot FYI. Strange hallway smells. Good value, safe, good staff, fast check in, and clean.

Receptionist didn’t inform me about anything except room number. No info about breakfast, WiFi, checkout etc. parking lot was packed, people were parking on the grass etc.

Amazing hotel to stay in, the cleanest hotel I think I have ever been to!

I enjoyed my stay at Spark. It was close to the airport, I81, and several shops and restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and I had no issues at all during my two night stay. The tv even was on with my name and welcome when I first arrived in my room - that was a first. Perfect for a one or two night stay in the Star City.

Overall, I liked my room. Both the room and the facilities seemed very clean. My biggest issue was that we couldn’t find a way to properly regulate the AC. It either kept getting too cold or too hot in the room. And even with the AC running all night, I somehow sweated through my clothes - which never happens. I needed to be up early for an exam but my sleep was disturbed because I was so uncomfortable and sweated so much.

Great place to stay very close to the highway and away from the hustle and bustle. The gym, swimming pool, laundry room and free breakfast were very nice. We also loved the room and friendly staff.

Hotel was very convenient with it's location and price. We have to travel to Roanoke yearly for my child to see a specialist at the hospital and this facility made our trip this year so much easier.

While the hotel was clean and comfortable, with a friendly check in staff, we were most disappointed by the breakfast included, as it was not up to the usual standard for a Hilton. There was no hot or prepared food at all, just a gluten intolerant nightmare of bread, bagels, breakfast cereal (and a mediocre fruit selection) - we went down at 9 (breakfast was until 10), and even the danish and muffins tray was empty/not restocked, giving us even less choice. As my priorities are a clean room, comfortable bed. Generous, hot water, and a good breakfast, I will not be staying there again, even though everything else was to our satisfaction.

The front desk host was AMAZING! I didnt catch her name, but she was so helpful & patient with me getting checked in. I loved her! The only thing i have to complain about was someone banged on my door and ran around midnight. & then check out was at 11am. The housekeeper was already knocking on doors at 950 am when i was asleep. I had to get this room overnight to help take family to the airport . So I was very tired & barely slept. So next time they should have the house keepers wait to knock on doors when it is check out time.

My family had a wonderful stay. Ot was quiet and secluded. Very clean. My only complaint would be not to expect anything for breakfast other than cereal and toast. I will also add my husband forgot some brand new shoes. He called and the cleaners set them aside and we were able to pick them up a few days later. I appreciated their honsety in returning our items.
