Comfort Inn Airport

It was clean and convenient location. The front desk was kind and efficient. Check in was seamless. I arrived later than planned and called ahead. They assured me that our reservation was secured. I actually requested connecting rooms and I did not get it. It would have been easier to assist my daughter with her infant.

Nice hotel. The room was clean. AC worked great. Good water pressure. Breakfast was basic fare but good. The carpets in the hallways need replacing & the towels need to be fresher. But otherwise a decent hotel.

Victoria was very helpful with a reservation issue we had which was that Booking.com had the property as pet friendly, but that really met only dogs at this property. We were traveling with a cat and one member of our party and the cat ended up at a different hotel. Except for the cat issue, the rest of the stay was very nice.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and provided with delicious, warm chocolate cookies. Our room was spacious and quiet. The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate and it's dining area was comfortably arranged. The location was perfect, directly accessible from I-581. And the cost was reasonable.

The receptionists were all very kind and helpful! I didn’t care for the eggs and sausage every morning. It would have been nice to have a little more variety for breakfast.

Enojyed using the awesome pool available. It was nice having an umbrella available with table and chairs and lounge chairs. The breakfast was very good with a hot breakfast available and other options. Bed was very comfortable.

What's told breakfast was from 6 to 9am at check in.. we had to leave by 6:15.... breakfast was not ready and was told breakfast didn't start till 6:30

Airport shuttle!!

My room had ants crawling all over the furniture. The got into my bags and luggage. The front desk was indifferent about the problem and offered nothing. The thermostat did not work properly leaving the room too warm.

up, A young lady at the at the front desk who claimed to be the manager, extremely rude and in a nasty tone, said it’s only for national flights and since I’booked with a third-party on Expedia, it was Expedia fault for not telling me there was no international shuttle.It is really bait and switch. microwave in the room was so old it barely functioned. strange sound coming from the sink area that woke us up. Couldn’t find what the sound was coming from around the sink area, loud tapping noise. do yourself a favor don’t go to this hotel, it’s cheap but by the time you pay for the transportation that you thought was free, you could’ve stayed at a nicer place with a real shuttle service, and not be scammed by a rude so called manager. on the plus side other staff was kind and polite. And if you’re just looking for a cheap one night stay before you catch a national flight probably not a bad deal. but if you’re flying International stay away from this place.

We stayed for three nights and never had any staff service the room! No clean towels, no trash removed, no light cleaning at all. Will not stay here again!

The staff was excellent! The facility is aged - carpet stained, walls and doors dinghy and poor TV options (no ability to cast personal streaming). Breakfast was a C - focused on items that can be stored, nothing fresh. Coffee was good.

The front desk staff (including the woman being trained on desk processes) were extremely warm, welcoming, and very efficient. Always a good sign that the choice of hotel was the right one for our needs. The women managing the morning breakfast service were also friendly and welcoming ... great job, all!

Brenda and the rest of the team here are a friendly, attentive bunch. I had a little trouble with the treadmill in the exercise room but everything else was pretty solid.

The upkeep of the Property is not at its best. Staff was OK. One of their employees are not gay friendly. The breakfast sucked the attendant kept running out of everything. It was a mess worst experience ever. But other than that, the room was fairly decent just a little old.

We stopped on our way from our daughter's family to go to our son's I checked out all the ratings and this 9.0 stood out. We have stayed at Comfort Inns before and for the most part they have been enjoyable. This was no different. The check-in was smooth, the room was clean and in good repair, the bed was soft and comfy. The breakfast was very good, with hot and cold choices but the best part was the cappuccino/hot chocolate machine. I love a good supersweet gas station cappuccino when it's cold and this fit the bill in the morning.

The room was spotless, staff courteous and our stay was very comfortable! Breakfast was good and everything appear to be fresh! Staff was readily available around breakfast to assist!

The room's condition (air conditioning, beds, furniture, cleanliness, bathroom, etc.) is very good, The staff members were all nice and helpful. I suggest that this Comfort Inn improve its breakfast offerings slightly (if this is possible).

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the past 2 months. The first time I thought it was a fluke but after the second visit, I realized that you need to let the shower run for at least 20 mins if you’d like hot water. Both times the first person to shower around 6am had cold water for the duration of their shower. The water only heated up midway through the second shower.

The staff as well as management were the most awesome people that I have had to deal with in recent years. I travel a lot for work, I stayed in a lot of hotels, this is one of the better ones that I’ve been in in a long, long time, any future trips to Roanoke Virginia will be spent here without question

• not really anyone’s fault, but since it’s right off the interstate it was very noisy with loud vehicles. • the common bathroom on the ground floor was filthy at 7am. very, very, dirty. toilet dirty and trash full to the top. breakfast room had zero ambience. the hot food was just lukewarm, and we were there right when it started as we had to get back on the road.

Having so many places so close to shop and eat was wonderful 😋. Staff, GREAT!! From Victoria (check in), Vicki (breakfast), and Tracy - Front Desk Man. Were simply the best⭐️⭐️⭐️

It wasn’t the cheapest place but it was cheaper than the ones beside that were $200 a night. The staff were nice enough but a little ghetto. The room smelled so strong like mildew but they didn’t have anymore so I couldn’t move. There is no where within walking distance to eat. We ordered domino’s delivery and it took them 50 mins even after it stated it was on its way. I know that has nothing to do with the hotel but just as a warning. They put us in a room right by the breakfast/lobby area so anyone coming in or around there you heard them. The room is 111, if you need sleep and can’t sleep with noise ask for another room. Even the staff were so loud when talking to each other. No respect for people sleeping. We had asked for a shuttle to the airport in the morning and they were saying well she leaves at 9am … I’m like our flight isn’t till 11am can she take us at 9:30 at least the said yes. Well around 7;45am the phone rang in the room and it was someone at the front desk asking me to leave earlier if I wanted the shuttle. I told her I’d think about it. But after being woken up by the loud ring and all the people yelling we decided to go. The shuttle lady only takes you or picks you up before 9am. The lady was very nice and I felt bad she comes in early and leaves at 9am. She was apologetic and kind. But they really need to hire someone else for the next shift or take the shuttle part off their listing. I wouldn’t stay again.

Each stay was clean and staff were friendly. My room was clean and had tons of space. It is not fancy - it is not luxury. It is affordable, clean, neat, friendly, well run, and they take care of guests. When I arrived early and planned to go out to eat, they stowed my luggage, even showing me which security camera was directly on it. That is a little above-and-beyond and reflected the intentionality of the staff.

Elevator didn’t work, for two breakfasts coffee and juice machine not working, and vending machine broken (we had to go next door for vending).

I wish to have more breakfast options like hot oatmeals, banana. I also wish that windows had curtains that closed. Wish the room at a tv guide. I had a blast and awesome stay. Wonderful staffs.

The fan in the bathroom was VERY loud. No lights went on when I hit the switch after entering the door…had to go around and switch the desk lamp on to see.

I didn't like the elevator "Out of Service." I was on the 4th floor, and had to limp up and down those steps on numerous occasions. I should be "refunded" something for the inconvenience. It's a safety hazard as well.

Beautiful on the outside of building. Main lobby bathroom not clean nor welcoming. Room sub par compared to other "Comfort Inns" . When we asked front desk if we could grab and go a breakfast item because we needed to leave at 6:00am, she said no. Then at 6:00am we noticed bananas were out, and some breads were out. Rude. Even so, the bananas were over ripened and the breakfast room was dark and unwelcoming. Will not stay again.

This hotel is in a quiet area near the airport. There is a mall nearby. We stayed here 2 separate times during our trip. The first time we stayed here our room faced a busy road which was noisy at times. Our second time our room faced the parking lot which was much nicer. The beds and pillows are really comfy, the staff are all really nice and the breakfast was great. We also utilized the fitness room, which was well equipped. I would definitely stay here again.

No fluff, just basically clean and comfortable.

I was disappointed to have no airport pickup upon arrival. I was told the shuttle only runs certain days of the week. Then when asking for a 9:00 am shuttle discovered the last shuttle of the day on a Wednesday is 6:45am. I don’t think I’ll be returning. There are other low cost hotels nearby with airport shuttles.

Very nice hotel within easy reach of the airport and town of Roanoke. My room was huge for just one person but clean and cozy with everything I needed including a microwave and a fridge. I would definitely choose them again.

Both rooms did not have soap (hand or shower), only shampoo, conditioner and bodylotion. One of the rooms (with broken toilet) also had shampoo completely empty and bottle broken. I guess all in all ok for short overnight stay but defo will book different airport hotel chain next time!

I had asked for some compensation for my stay. My room was on the second floor so needless to say- That didn’t make me happy.

I ordered this hotel in a hurry because we lost power due to hurricane Helene. It went off 10am Friday and was not expected until 11pm Sunday night. My mom is a double amputee, diabetic, uses oxygen and when we got to the hotel and she’s being unloaded from the only handicapped vehicle I could find in the city, I’m being told that they don’t rent to locals. Nowhere on the Hotels.com, their website or anywhere that it said they don’t rent to locals. The clerk at the front desk said she’d call her GM, but it was past his bedtime and didn’t answer. I managed to get another hotel, but I wouldn’t have wasted my time if yall don’t rent to locals. What’s going to happen when a major emergency or disaster happens? We going to let people suffer while there’s all those empty rooms that people were looking to “rent” for a couple days for health and safety reasons. I will be taking this further. Unacceptable and despicable behavior knowing what the city had been thru the past few days with the wind and rain and flooding. Horrible way to treat people.

I was only there for 5.5 hours but the room was nice , dark and quiet.

The staff was amazing from check in to the cleaning people. Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast was good. Had an issue with the ac and it was corrected immediately with no push back at all. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Everything was great during our stay! The desk staff were very friendly and the room was clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the loud traffic from the road behind the building. Request a room on the front side of the building!

This hotel offers shuttle from/to the airport. But don’t have the service.

Requested handicap room with walk-in shower but received handicap room at the end of the hall which made for a LONG difficult walk for a disabled person. Was unable to shower as could not get in tub even though it had a chair but does no good if you can’t get in it.

The elevator and pool were broken and no info ahead of booking that this was the case. To their credit, they got permission for us to use the pool next door. Room had a smell. Really disappointed considering the favorable reviews for this hotel.
