    The entire property felt worn down and poorly maintained. The carpets throughout the hotel were heavily stained, and there was a strong musty odor in the hallways, stairwells, and our room. While I assume the room had been cleaned, it never felt clean. We found hair on towels and bedding, and many surfaces and furnishings looked old, stained, and in need of replacement. There were several maintenance issues as well. The air conditioner was extremely loud and struggled to keep the room cool. The light under the microwave stayed on constantly, and none of the vending machines we tried worked properly with either cash or card. One night around 1:20 a.m., the fire alarm went off and guests had to evacuate the building. Thankfully it didn’t last long, but it was still a frustrating experience in the middle of the night. The final disappointment came on checkout day when the elevator was out of service. Staying on the third floor meant carrying luggage down multiple flights of stairs in several trips. The location was the hotel’s biggest positive, but the cleanliness concerns, poor maintenance, and overall condition would keep me from staying here again.

    YET DOES NEED A LITTLE EXTRA LIGHTING IN ROOM FOR READING. DEEP CLEANING I RECOMMEND FOR ALL HOTELS AND MOTELS AND EXTENDED STAYS … A UV MATTRESS CLEANING AND NO POWDER YET A GOOD SPRAY 2-3 times per year and Antibacterial wiping walls, beds, ledges and pretty much everywhere. Also Curtain washing and steam cleaning carpeted areas…I don’t mind a few reps or tears in the bedding and linens which were there and chair by sofa tabled area but the deep cleaning I think might be needed soon. Was very itchy day three after laying in bed healing sore ankle and knee… but kept washing myself and still itchy on my back and red spots (so no worries no during or anything - staff was super friendly)(corporate just needs to invest in deep cleaning services I suggested above in this passage- ty). But other than that very friendly and was a very nice experience! Thank you!

    The hallway carpet was disgusting. The room floors were dirty. Hair found in my bed which made me wonder if the sheets were changed from previous guests. Cops investigating something at the hotel nearly every night I was there.

    I did not use the laundry. I came off the road today register. I needed a bathroom. I was told there was no ladies room. After waiting as long as I could because there was a person registering, I had to get in my car and drive to Publixs. During my stay Leaving the 1st side exit I saw a man and a woman bringing in plastic tubs one after the other big enough for me to lie down in. My boyfriend would not allow me to walk my dog alone. We were on the 3rd floor. The night before checkout it sounded like someone on the 4th was moving heavy objects in and out. I WILL SAY MY BED WAS CLEAN. THE FREE COFFEE AND FRESH TOWELS WERE EXCELLENT.

    I recently stayed at this property while attending a professional recertification course in Tampa, and I have to say — this was one of the most disappointing and frankly alarming hotel stays I have experienced in years of travel. I will be as detailed as possible so that future guests can make an informed decision before booking. Mold and Humidity Odor — Pervasive and Unmistakable From the moment I stepped into the hallway of my floor, I was hit with a strong, musty, humid odor that I immediately recognized as characteristic of mold or mildew growth. This was not a faint smell or the typical staleness of an older building — it was heavy and persistent throughout the corridors. The same odor carried into my room. As a Florida-licensed Mold Assessor (MRSA #2391) with over 12,000 inspections completed, I am professionally trained to identify the signs of fungal contamination, and what I encountered here raised immediate red flags. The combination of poor ventilation, high ambient humidity, and that distinctive musty odor is a textbook indicator of active or historic mold growth within the building envelope or HVAC system. For guests with respiratory conditions, allergies, or asthma, this environment could pose a genuine health concern.     I was looking for a hotel at a central location for the weekend and decided on this one. The front desk staff Myla was very helpful and informative. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my choice. I had a full sized refrigerator and a mini stove desk and sitting area for an incredible price. I will definitely be considering this one on my next visit.

    They put us in a room with lots of roaches. I left after the fifth roach bound the front desk of the night shift said that I will be refunded because he couldn’t put me in a different room and the morning shift would not refund me. I repeat do not go to this roach infested motel.

    Terrible service. I had called ahead of time to make sure we could do a late night check in a couple of days before our stay. We got there past midnight on Saturday for the BTS concert and they didnt give us any notice of our room cancelation until we got there! Tampa was completely booked due to the concerts and they didnt even offer to help us find another stay.

    also the bathrooms were not that clean, with build up everywhere in the shower. the walls, roof, and floors are so thin, you hear convos, steps and people dropping stuff all the time... even at 1 am... also someone from my party had a bad time due to a random guest (maybe? not sure if he was a guest but he was at the hotel)... so it felt a bit unsafe.

    The place is dirty, the carpet and walls are filthy. There was no housekeeping available, the room smell horrible, the hallways smell like pets. The furniture was dirty. I don't advise anyone to stay at this location, don't even waste your time.

    This was without a doubt the worst stay ive had in years. They canceled one of the rooms. The bed was hard, dust on the walls, tv not programmed, we were lied to by the staff. Also informed that they had no toilet paper. Maintenance a ghost. The front desk clerk when we arrived was the only bright spot in this entire experience. The front desk continuously hung up on us. Absolute trash of a place to stay. I couldve paid 60 a night somewhere else and got a much better experience. The rooms smelled stale...i wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

    The entire building was a disgusting, stained filled dump. Every inch of the hallways had stains on top of stains which continued into the rooms. The paint from the walls were peeling. There was a constant smell of heavy duty cleaning agent, which I guess meant they tried to clean the place, but they clearly failed. Then there were the other guests; loud and obnoxious with the tv on all night. The photos must be from 20 years ago. The place needs a total renovation. I left a day early and would avoid if I were you.

    The pros were that Titus was very helpful, the room was clean and had a small kitchen that was very useful. I appreciated the glass enclosed shower instead of a bathtub, the AC kept cool and everything worked. The things that need improvement are that the hall carpets outside of the rooms were dirty and stained and need to be steam cleaned. I think this is why the hallway had a smell. I also suggest someone examine the cleanliness of the room doors both interior and exterior. They had visual hand dirt building up on them which made them feel unsanitary. Overall a good experience though and will return.

    Where to start? The shower curtain would not stay closed, causing water to go everywhere. The tile in the bathroom was smashed and puddling water in it. We left our trash in the hallway (not smelly!) and they just put it back in our room. This has never happened anywhere else. Even the low budget hotels would take it. The bathroom door would not shut because it was broken and falling off the hinges. The beds were fine, not the queens I booked and paid for. Noisy people at this hotel and ceilings are paper thin. Metal frame work and shelf around the bathroom mirror is rusting away. You can see overspray on the wall from where they tried to just spray paint over the rust. Maybe I expected too much, but assumed it was a bit nicer place than the Quality Inn and it was not.

    Not very clean. Had an unpleasant scent in the stairwell and in the rooms. Front desk was not friendly. One am shift worker told me I couldn't extend my stay because they were sold out. When I went back on Expedia I was able to book another reservation which cost me time, gas, and money. Not a hotel that I would give a good rating or recommend.

    There were fleas and cockroaches in my room and I told management but didn't get any response. Ended up treating the issue myself. Under sink cabinet in the bathroom smelled strongly of maple syrup and would not dissipate. I had to thoroughly clean and disinfect the room myself, and kept my luggage stored in garbage bags because I was afraid of infestation. Removed the bedspread and slept on top of the sheets after finding bites on my legs. This place will send you into a depression spiral if you're not already at rock bottom.

    The room was clean and the services were great. However, there was no hot water and the water pressure was so low such as no way to take a clean shower. We adressed the issue 2 weeks ago when we stayed there. When we came back last week, the problem was not resolved. Fir the price we paid, we expect that we have a clean shower .

    Our reservation was for two queen beds. The room they tried to give us had only one queen bed. We were three people. After much back and forth, they gave us two rooms for the first night, then switched is to a 2 bed room the next night. Out of our three total rooms, one of them had a terrible odor and two had bathroom sinks that would not drain. Dirty walls, stains on carpet, door handles that you didn't want to touch. I know we did not pay for a room at the Ritz, but having decently clean accommodations is a reasonable expectation. I could go on about the staff but I feel that is a waste of time.

We stayed a week and it smelt like cigarette smoke the entire time, even after staff came in and tried spraying something into the air conditioner. There were dried up boogers on the wall, right next to the bed. It looked like the room had not been cleaned prior to our stay. No issues with staff.

    I contacted the hotel before I checked in to confirm that cars were allowed and the person I spoke to said yes and allowed me to pay the fee over the phone. We checked in fine and they knew we had pets. When the cleaning lady came on Wednesday to clean the room we weren’t ready so we told her to come back in a few minutes. Next thing I know someone is knocking on our door and it’s the lady who works the front desk telling us they don’t allow cats, only dogs and that we either had to board our cat or check out. We decided to check and get a refund for the remaining 3 nights we had left. When I went to the front desk to check out the woman told I was only due a refund for one night, that it was showing in their system we were checking out the next day. That wasn’t the case and I had the paper they gave me when I checked in showing my checkout date as January 17th, but at the time since all my documents where packed in the car I couldn’t show and the lady wouldn’t do anything. It’s obvious that they changed the date we were supposed to checkout. Before we checked out my mom spoke to the manager and he assured us we would get a full refund for the 3 days that were remaining. To this day I still haven’t gotten a refund and every time I try to call and speck to the manager about this matter he never there. I tried called Expedia about this the same day and they called and spoke to the manager and even they were told I’d get a full refund yet I I’m out almost $300. Terrible!!!

Stains all over the walls, no water pressure, shower head was gross, carpet was dirty, found trash under the bed; hallway and elevator reeked of cigarettes and weed; it was a convenient location and pretty inexpensive, but I won't stay there again; I would rather pay more for cleanliness and good water pressure.

    I reserved a room online for Friday-sunday. I arrived to the hotel around 3am on that Saturday . DJ told me it was too late to check in and that he couldn’t give me a room. Even though I had already reserved and paid for it. He said I should have received a call from the hotel asking if I was going to be checking in late. I never did. No one told me I wouldn’t have a room if I arrived late, even though I had the room for multiple nights. I’m pretty sure DJ is the one who was supposed to call me. I had to keep insisting that there was some way for me to still have a room to sleep in since I am a young female traveling from out of state alone at night. And I had already reserved and paid for the room. After going back and forth with DJ and his rude/lazy attitude he finally said he would be able to fill out some paperwork to get me my room back and that it would take 15 minutes. Why was that not his first response??? His first response was to tell a young female at 3am who’s alone that he just can’t help her and she doesn’t have a room anymore. And while he filled out the paperwork he was huffing and puffing like it was the biggest burden of his night. He is clearly not fit for that job. I have never had such a horrible experience. Someone that lazy, rude, and who hates their job that much should find a new job.

    The room smelled horrendeous. I was given a bottle of odor spray but it didnt fix the issue. Claudia Morales (receptionist) was notified and asked to switch my rooms. I hadnt slept in 3 days as my mom had a massive heart attack. I just asked to be accomodated and she had a horrible attitude between her eye rolls and shoulder shrugs. She suggested I check out (at practically midnight) instead of just changing my room. I offered to pay a difference in upcharge and she told me i had to pay for the an additional room when it wasnt my fault. The entire floor smelled of marijuana as well. Upon speaking with manager Maila following morning she confirmed there were plenty of rooms available and it just reflected Claudia's lack of work ethic, professionalism and customer service. It was an extremely disappointing and unfair experience.

    the keys to the second room and she tells me there was only 1 room available with a max occupancy of 4 and there were 5 of us. There was another guest who had not checked in with my same last name and she didn’t realize we were 2 different guests. I asked to her to give me the other guest’s room and she refused because they had already charged the guest’s credit card. Hotel was sold out. I was told there was nothing she can do and to find another hotel. The front desk clerk was terrible. No sympathy and with an attitude. I asked for a manager and she said she was the only one there. I asked for a refund and left. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott instead. Lesson learned- you get what you pay for! They still billed me for the stay. Don’t stay here!!!

    There was an unusual Smell in my room room. and a weird smell in bathroom. A Cockroach appeared while i was taking a shower!! next day i tried getting a refund and they didnt give me one! i wanted a refund for at least one day since i went to work early in the morning and came a bit later than checkout time but because i came later than checkout time they charged me for the whole day! I technically didnt even stay in my hotel wednesday and they still charged me! Avoid this hotel at all costs! I asked to talk to the manager but he was apparently in a “important meeting” in the back room. I think he just didnt want to talk and lrovide me the refund.

    We drove several hours to get there and were contacted on the way to ask about our arrival time. Shortly after, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled because the hotel was “sold out,” despite having a confirmed reservation. We were told that having a reservation did not necessarily guarantee a room, which was very surprising. We were also informed that other guests were receiving the same notification. There was no manager available at the time to speak with, and no immediate solution was offered. We later received another call saying a room had become available, which added to the confusion given the earlier explanation. Additionally, the room was not serviced daily, staffing seemed very limited, and the bed did not feel clean or comfortable. Overall, the experience was disappointing and very stressful. I would not choose to stay here again.

    The outside grounds had litter all over on all sides and behind bushes . The doggie litter cans were overflowing and never emptied during are whole stay . The interior was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. The $20.00/night dog fee was high in my opinion since not one time was the 3 pet trash cans emptied out during our stay of 4 nights .

    Nice hotel, seem to be friendly reception. However twice I asked for linen since we had someone sleeping on a couch and twice they never came. The service was with a smile but the buck was passed and no one ever came and it happened twice, two nights in a row. The response was "Oh but I told someone to do it" in other words they never took ownership. Bad move!

    The manager there stop me from using my hotels reservations. Every time I try to use it they say they don’t see it and they make me pay to their hotel and it was very rude the first week and kick me out and then let me stay again but today when I went to check back and they wouldn’t let me and say my room was dirty how can you say my room was dirty I took all my stuff off the bed and everything they have no proof of that.     This property was a big disappointment. Not the cleanest! Didnt reel safe , after checking in at 10 pm (i did call and let them know we would be checking in late) there was about 5 or 6 hanging out in the parki.g lot smokimg weed . Our room smelled like wet dog, the beds felt like sleeping on the floor very hard. There were potatoe chips all over the hallway floor for 3 days . Very unsatisfied

    Room is full of bugs. I checked out in two days after I was promised to get a refund for the remaining time, so far nothing. Basically they stole my money and expedia washed their hand and nothing. Never again to use expedia.

    Thank god I only had to stay in this room one night, I had to leave at the crack of dawn because room 425 I stayed in was all moldy musty smelling. The next day I had a headache and cough with a terrible taste in my mouth.

    So the property was very busy with people hanging outside in the parking lot. The lobby was presentable, But the room smelled like straight cigarettes, the lounge chair was stained and dirty looking, the bed was a thin mattress that’s is very uncomfortable, the walls are very thin I hear the people up stair stepping all throughout the room . I would definitely not recommend the hotel.

    BUT worst of all at the end of my stay they couldn't wait for the payment so they were attempting to kick my ill daughter out of the room, even though we made several different attempts to pay, and they couldn't process them because of their inability. I had to shut down my work sight an hour away to try to come take care of it, but they were attempting to kick my daughter out the room @ 11:30 when their website says payment must be made by 1pm or there is a $35 late fee. The staff is clueless and everyone gives different information. So, when my daugher passed out and an ambulence had to be called. Then I was then told we were no longer welcome to stay there because "the ambulance was too much" by Josh who may be the district manager, but refused to give me his name or title. I only know his name and he is the big boss from the staff.

    Nasty , roaches , mold peeling floor tiles . Room had stains on couches . People in stairs cases smoking it’s not safe . Management was rude dismissive and had the audacity to say this location people don’t have standards “ you probably the one person whose ever complained “ the guest here are okay with these conditions .     On the other hand the plastic tiles were coming undone causing me to trip many times. Even though the rooms have a stove a sink there are no utensils or anything to cook with. Also only had a small toilet paper roll and 1 tiny soap bar for a whole week. Plan on having to buy your own toiletries as well. Overall was ok for the price.

    I think the hotel is misleading people by offering many stars when in reality one is too many. I don't know where to start, but I'm fine; I called to request a bedspread and pillow for the room, since they don't leave anything extra, and they told me (lower, please, because I don't have time). As for the terrible housekeeping, like everything else, the bathroom was literally dripping diarrhea, and many other things I'd rather not go into detail about. I definitely do not recommend it!

    This property definitely felt like a place for transients. That didn’t bother me. I was in the area to get my hair done but I don’t sleep well. So I try to sleep whenever the mood strikes me. It was hard to sleep here with the noise, the weird smells and sounds from the AC & toilet. Someone was playing music at an incredibly high level at 2am. I guess everyone doesn’t have the same sleep patterns. The room could definitely use a deep cleaning!!!

    Worst stay ever. After checking in I was informed that my room would have a pest control treatment done the next day between 12-3. Was obviously not happy about that nor was I aware of it until after they had already charged my card. I informed the desk person that they would need to do the treatment after 1:30 and I was told that is fine and just let the pest control person to come back after 1:30 if they showed up earlier than that. Next day they are banging on the door at noon. I was in a meeting and my wife was the only one in the room. She told the guy to come back after 1:30 to do the treatment. A few minutes later the general manager came and attempted to force his way into the room and told my wife that if she didn’t let him in he would fine us and possibly ask us to leave the property. She would not give in to his intimidation and asked him to come back after 1:30. At 1:20 the pest control guy came back and my wife asked him to give her a couple minutes to get dressed. He was upset and just stormed off. Next day as we were coming back from the beach we find out that they locked us out of our room and refused to let us in until we paid the $50 fine. I told them that we would leave but we need to be reimbursed for the amount of nights we had already paid for but wouldn’t be staying there because of this and they refused any type of reimbursement. On top of all that the carpet in the room was completely disgusting and the flooring was peeling up. Stay away from here!!!

    The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The hotel needs some upkeep. The floor on the first floor was tore up and my kid tripped ver it. Its an extended stay hotel and people live here so there is a certain level of what I would call acceptable but... we did kill several roaches in our room, there were cobb webs in the corners of the room and I am not sure if it was the cleaning product or something else but the linoleum floor was slippery.

    Upon arriving the room 306 was not on great condition the room had mold on the walls next to the bathroom. The toilet didnt have any water nor was the television working. I informed front desk Donna and i was moved to room 218 which was worst from all the upstairs guest loud noise of stomping jumping baming and loud music. I also informed front dest Donna multiple times and ask her multiple times to come to my room to hear it for her self which she did come after ibhad to ask again. I requested another room on a higher floor which she stated she had no rooms and nothing could be done due to the general manager of the propery being on vactoon returing on Monday June 2 2025. I requested anouther stay nit a refund. I never once had any prior complaints about this property i love this location always a great experience. Im very disappointed which my issue wasn't taken care as promise by front desk agent Donna who was working nor did she email the general manager with my complaint and request for another night credit. I had to speak with Myla which she did contact her and emailed the general manager and contacted himnper my request. I was not treat kind not was my issue resloved nor taking seriously per staff. Also the condition of room 306 was not noted nor removed from being check into by another guest until i informed Myla about my experience. All im requesting is to be treated fairly and due to the lacknof sleep and loud noise i just wanted to be compensated with another stay.

    Check-out was even worse. A different attendant was nowhere in sight, and I had to call out repeatedly before she finally appeared from the back with a flat, disengaged attitude. No greeting, no courtesy. I had to initiate a hello twice before receiving a barely audible, indifferent response. If customer service matters to you, avoid this place. I wouldn’t trust either of these employees to interact with any customers in a professional setting. Beyond the poor service, the overall guest experience was disappointing. On my first visit, I had to allow an exterminator into my room during my stay—completely inappropriate and disruptive. On this recent visit, I walked out of my room and nearly tripped over a large blue tub stretched across all the doorways. It was unclear what was inside, and frankly, it was disturbing. While the room itself was clean and relatively pleasant, it’s shocking that an extended stay hotel doesn’t provide any basic dishes, pots, or utensils. That defeats the whole purpose of staying somewhere with a kitchenette. Overall, this hotel does not value its guests or

    The property itself wasn’t bad. The room had a little odor when opening the door and a couple of stains in the furniture I.e. the desk chair had a stain. The property staff was very helpful and nice. It’s more of the people who stay here that make it seem rough when there is a lot of people outside when you’re coming in at night to park. They do lock the front doors and it does need a key to unlock and let it open. It was a good stay for the price and I couldn’t beat that. I would stay again.

    Will never stay there again! On arrival there was no one at the front desk. A sign was left for you to call someone. There are people just lingering around the hotel as if its some sort of "turf" to hang out. It has people that seem to permanently LIVE at this hotel as its a shelter. Cleaning service for the 4 days I was there was only available the first day. You had to pick up your own extra towels if u needed. There were kids banging and running around on the floor above our room, which goes to people living there. There were kids in school clothes down the hall with laundry baskets and people with big dogs moving through the halls. Im sorry but I won't be back. Not the hotel the interner mad it out to be. False advertisement!

    This property was in very close proximity to our son’s apartment and convenient to restaurants and groceries. However our room cleanliness was subpar. Our feet turned black from the floor and carpet within minutes. We wore our shoes for the duration of our stay, and used a bath towel on the floor between the beds. Carpet felt damp as well. For being an extended stay I was shocked there wasn’t anything for the kitchen, not even a towel. No silverware or dishes of any kind. All bring your own. Very inconvenient for a traveler. The people above us were very loud and must’ve had a child that ran and stomped on the floor routinely. Only one evening staff member was friendly. I believe her name was Dana. The morning girl said “you have to bring me all the towels before I can give you any, and I will only do this for you one time” when I asked for a hand towel for the kitchen. Our room had 4 bath towels and only 2 hand towels and wash clothes with 3 of us staying in the room. Not sure what the smell was at the end of the hall in the entry area. Although convenient location we will not rebook here in the future.
