I would like to give five stars but unfortunately it wasn’t the best stay. Upon arrival the staff was changing out a keg and he didn’t do it properly and sprayed my whole side with beer while waiting to check in. Then we were offered the 6th floor because it was a quiet floor but they failed to mention they had only one elevator working. Each time we used the elevator we waited 20 to 30 minutes. Breakfast staff was not the most pleasant to deal with, no smiles and grumbled when told they were out of food. Also paid for parking in the garage but when we returned in the evening there was no spots left. We won’t return.

The hotel was convenient in downtown Riverside. I like the text messaging for help at the hotel. But I wished I was told we had to pay for parking. If you stay here and have a vehicle, you do have to pay $29 per day for your stay. Breakfast was great!

The occupancy sensors that shut the tv off even though I am in the room, laying on the bed. This happened many times, and most times this happened, it was about every 15 minutes; incredibly annoying, especially when I am just laying there watching.

The only downside was some unsavory people lingering outside the hotel and some intoxicated guests lingering in the lobby.

Please consider labeling parking better for oversized vehicles. The parking structure does not have a height posted, just the main entrance, but not the parking structure itself. Maybe add where oversized vehicles could park near the hotel?

We stayed here for the final night of our honeymoon and out of all the places that we stayed this was my least favorite. Despite letting them know that it was our honeymoon they put us on a lower floor room which meant we had a ton of road noise. It’s on a fairly busy street and there were loud vehicles driving by frequently. In addition to this, when I got there, I was told that they charged for parking. This was not something that was obvious in the listing at all. They did end up pumping it, which I appreciated, but it was frustrating that there was some hidden charges. It’s a really nice hotel but I’m not sure I would stay there again and it definitely didn’t make for a great last night of our honeymoon.

It seemed like a safe area, but walking to the convenience store right down the street, I got catcalled more in those 5 minutes than in my entire life.

2. They charge for parking and there is not enough parking. I had to park on the street, and I did not sleep well. The night I stayed the clerk told everyone to park in the handicap and loading zone. The next morning cars were towed, but we were told to park there. I was very unhappy and left mad.

Had a horrible experience the people above made so much noise hard to sleep after having a long day. Woken up at 1130 pm again at 230 am then again at 5 am. Called the front desk 3xs. It was nice and clean just difficult to get rest.

Wasn’t able to check into my room until way after check in. Kids running everywhere making it a complete nightmare. Breakfast too many kids serving themselves and touching everything leaving a huge mess. Was told I was going to get my parking fee waived since we weren’t able to get ready in my hotel room. I get it they were understaffed but why wouldn’t that be known to customers. For the price I paid for one night it should have been ready at least by four. Kids running up and down hallways with no Parent supervision ver upsetting Not being able to get into my room until 9pm. Getting charged full price for everything. Not being able to grab breakfast comfortably. The noise level was terrible. I felt like I was at Disneyland waiting for everyone and getting bumped trying to get breakfast never again

The loud noise such as walking, talking and pulling furniture or something from upstairs has been bothered us around 2:00 -3:00 am. Other than that. The entire experience was the worst I have ever had when lodging, the hotel booked another person in my very room, we were sleeping when they opened the door! this place is not safe, nor is the security agents. I called police to file report as we did not feel safe. Avoid this property at all cost.

The staff shut down breakfast at 9 and was very rude to other hotel customers stating they placed a sign stating that breakfast ended at 9. They picked up all the breakfast items before other hotel customers could get any food.

But one thing I did not like was when I arrived it was really hard to find parking I felt like I took the last parking spot in the entire parking structure and what I didn’t like is that I had to pay for parking that was not optimal upon my return because there were cars that were parked outside of the parking structure all the way out around the lobby because there was no more space for parking so I had to park my car elsewhere other than that my stay was very comfortable, but I feel like if you’re going to charge for parking then you should have a guaranteed parking spot in the parking structure.

Had to switch rooms and rush. Still missed our dinner reservation with all my husbands family and had to show up quite late. We had limited time with family. Time is the most valuable commodity that you cannot replace and you wasted mine by your negligence, indifference, and incompetence. Do not think I will ever return. I am a Hilton honors member. I will not be using my Marriott bonvoy app much more. Always a good experience with them at any destination. DO BETTER.

The staff is friendly but the fact that there is no self parking and was advised to pay 29.34 valet without anybody given us the option of self parking is a violation, the website did not state we had to valet no matter what.

It was great and love the location in downtown Riverside. Room was great and felt clean, spacious, and new!

The staff were so nice and accommodating! They went out of their way to make our stay nice. I requested an extra lamp and they were happy they could accommodate, me too! The sundries shop was out of my soda, but they gave me a can from their own supply! So nice! Beds were comfy and clean. It was a great stay.

Everything was great except for the facial tissue and toilet paper, which were thin and scratchy. Please invest in paper products that are softer.

Upon check-in, I stood in line for a solid 10 minutes while 2 employees stood behind the counter talking. Only when I said "can someone check us in?" did they then do so. Quite odd, as the hotel is very nice. HOWEVER... STAY AWAY!!! The hotel is built with some BS energy savings safeguards. The TV, AC unit and overall power goes off in the room if you're not constantly moving around in it. I kid you not!!! The front desk confirmed it. You cannot watch TV in bed nor use the AC or heat while sleeping!!!

It was bad. There are sensors in all rooms that go off every 5 minutes. Everything goes out including tv internet and of lights. When working in a room, it is impossible to do anything. Would not recommend to anyone this property

The room was great, perfect amount of space including room to stretch, do yoga. Pleasant colors and decor. Large shower, perfect water pressure (that’s important to me!) Absolutely clean, very nice toiletries. Only annoying thing was the light sensor shut everything off every 10-15 minutes, including the TV. I appreciate energy conservation, it’s just not great for sitting quietly reading a book or watching a movie. But otherwise would recommend. Staff was great, too.

We used the valet for the parking, which was very convenient because we were there for the mission Inn run. Overall, the hotel was very beautiful as well as the rooms were very clean.

Stay was great

The Hampton Inn was very clean and staff was friendly; however, my room faced Market Street and I could hear traffic noise all through the night, and I was also above the toasted sandwich shop, so my room smelled like hamburgers all of the time! I would recommend if you plan on staying there, ask to have your room not face the main street!

The rooms appear clean and tidy and has amenities but check your bed our bed had bed bugs.

1. lights as well as TV goes on and off throughout the night. Cannot get a good rest when TV goes on by itself. 2. Guest room is not cleaned daily, will not recommend for long stay.

Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The location is in the heart of Riverside's historic Culture and Arts District with several good museums, dining opportunities and shops within easy walking distance. A solid choice if you are planning a trip to Riverside any time soon.

The only inconvenience at the time we visited was the construction they had going on to add another wing extension to the hotel and parking structure in the back but I’m sure this will make it much better in our next visit once is complete.

Parking wasn't perfect (ok, so it was only a block away), but everything else was great. I loved the convenience and being right next to a cool neighborhood.

There were a lot of shades looking people hanging around and due to the construction there was no on site parking. The ice machines were not working and in 3 days there were no maid services that came to the room.

It was an overnight stay to drop of the child to school. Parking is far away due to construction and the pool does not work. They should let people know at time of booking. Hotels by Costco in another town is closer to campus.

Even though there was construction nearby, it was not distracting. We had a great view of the cross on Mt. Rubidoux.

Hotel parking was not available due to construction, extra $29/day for valet, very inconvenient. Rooms were average, expected more from Hilton. Bathroom was looking shabby. Breakfast included was very basic. Pool atea was non-existent. Overall experience, was just somewhere to stay, nothing special and disappointing.

.For a 90 year old failing mind, I woud have liked a clear explanation on hw to operte te elevator. Got in and punched floor and nothing happened. Little frightening as I though I was trapped. Appreciate the convuloted manner to operate the elevator, but staff should be alert for old people getting into a elevator that has gizmos before operating.

They had no on site parking due to construction which was fine…the staff was NOT clear they charged for this major inconvenience which was the hotels issue. I was charged a standard fully refundable security deposit of $100 which was explained as such, so when I only got $70 back I asked why of course and they said they charged me for parking at $29.90. That was the price for valet service in which I did not use, I parked my own car down the street at an off site parking facility and I was given a QR code to park there overnight for FREE! They told me after I called asking about the refund being light that everyone gets charged parking whether you use the valet or not! WHAT????

The valet parking was very convenient. The hotel was close to the freeway, close to the venue i attended and close to a variety of restaurants. All the staff i encountered, were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel was nice, but on a corner without easy access to parking. The room was clean. The water got nice and hot. The bed was amazing...super soft! The check-in process was slow.

There was no parking unless you wanted to at almost $30 for valet parking. That should have been free since they were doing construction on a new parking structure.

Delicious breakfast!

Cards for elevators and doors constantly stopped working. Breakfast was ok, no fruit put out. Got locked out in pool area because keycard stopped working. Never had anyone come replace towels and clean up a bit, yet they left envelope out to tip.

Th hotel is a very nice place to stay with clean rooms, breakfast, etc. However, the parking situation is problematic as there is no onsite parking with the construction going on. Allow PLENTY of time for the valet as the text system they use to get your car does not work well. Otherwise this is a great hotel.

Mattress was not comfortable. Rooms were clean breakfast was great but liked the sausage yesterday than the patties this morning. Valet service was great. Needed a night stand for both beds. No safe in the room. Elevators were great. Staff were great. Needed bottles of water in the room.

I loved that my hotel room was super clean and modern, you got a complimentary beer on tap and great door dash coupon. Checking in and out was super easy, and the area is super convenient everything is very walkable, would definitely stay again.

Roomy lobby with plenty of seating accommodated our extended family from out of town. Very nice updated decor, separate outdoor patio with additional tables & grill. Great breakfast setup with plenty of food options. Will definitely return.

Clean environment. Friendly staff. It felt like I was on a vacation. Had a really great time. You can only park underground in valet or a block away in parking structure or on the street. I recommend the valet.
