For the amount we paid for one night ($200) the room was just adequate. The best thing about it was the large mini fridge, size of the room, and the excellent A/C. Parking was limited.

The grossest place I've ever stayed. Floors in the bedroom felt like the kitchen of a fastfood kitchen. Greasy yet sticky. The bathroom was worse some how. Whispy black hairs everywhere. The floor looked like it had been mopped with dirty mop water. Their seemed to be a poop smear on the wall. I don't want to think of what the mattresses looked like under a black light. Forced to stay there as our flight was cancelled and everything else was booked solid. Never again.

Where do I start? The dirty floor? The dirty shower with low to no pressure? The stained comforter? The cigarette burn holes in the sheets? The toilet paper jammed into door eyelet? The mold on the ceiling and shotty wall patchwork? The overall, humidity in the room? OR should I mention the lack of security when I asked to get a new room key and was never ID’d or verified? Didn’t feel very secure after that. The breakfast was lack luster at best. I can’t imagine the staff being proud of this property. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry before, this location is sub par at best. The cleanliness alone was a nightmare. To say I hope this was only the experience from this specific room would be a miracle. Would not come here again. This property severely needs an uplift.

Trying to overcharge got bit up by bed bugs and taking me through hell about my refund after I showed them the bites and brought them the pillow with the bed bug on it at 5 in the morning

The staff was friendly and the property was clean. The breakfast station was impressive and was kept very clean. The room was huge and the property was clean and quiet.

it was a clean room and the staff was quite pleasant(Jay), there was ample parking however the breakfast was lacking. I suggest possibly some fruit like bananas or oranges and maybe some yogurt. But if you’re looking for a no-frills hotel for the money, it was fine.

Turning into the parking lot is a bit tricky, across two lanes of traffic, but no problem finding a spot. Be aware there is an outside staircase and no elevator; the desk clerk carried my suitcase up for me. I liked the vinyl plank floor - it can be MOPPED, unlike carpet! Spacious.

Fairly close to Chicago O’Hare Airport Rough clientele- shouting in the parking area. Drama between guests, rooms were very thin walls- could hear people in other rooms. Felt not too safe.

Breakfast had a lack of options and the coffee was poorly brewed. They also ran out of a lot of stuff relatively early on in their Breakfast timeframe.

The hotel’s location was convenient, especially being close to the airport, which made it easy for a quick stay or early flight. For a short sleep, it served its basic purpose. The hotel is in a very busy area, and the noise level was a major issue. There was constant traffic throughout the night, along with people coming and going at all hours, doors slamming, and groups gathering in the parking lot. As a light sleeper, I barely got any rest. On top of that, the amenities were limited. The towels and bedding were thin which made the overall stay less comfortable than expected. I felt the price was overpriced.

The room was clean, except for some model on one corner next to the shower. The shower was accessible, so water could leak onto the wall, hence the mold. With that kind of shower, it is kind of inevitable. It wasn't a problem for me, but doesn't look good appearance-wise. The motel is an older one and the checkout process took a little longer than what I am used to. There was no airport shuttle, which cost me quite a bit in Lyft fares.

This was my first time in Chicago and I had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, safe, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was easy. Worst hotel ever. Hard to believe it was a branded hotel. The mattress was stained, the blanket had burned holes, the walls were scuffed up, lights were out. I needed to call the front desk due to noisy neighbors and the room phone did not work! The rubber matting on the outside steps was partially missing and i stumbled down the stairs on exposed screws. The only bright spot was the guy working on the cleaning crew - very helpful - they need to give him a proper uniform so he looks like he works there. I am pissed that such an awful hotel was avaiable in hotels.com. Clearly there are no standards at this hotel, and it was a waste of money. You dont have to take my word for it, I took pictures. And have more than I can submit in this app.

There for a nearby convention. Staff very accommodating. Walls proved to be a little thin first night with arguing next door. Next night was fine. Nice neighborhood adjacent to walk in. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Room definitely dated and not the prettiest.

The carpet was very dirty. The furniture was stained/broken. I felt very unsafe in the room as it was open to the outside and it is located on a busy intersection. I had to ask about the wifi, and I was charged $50 more than what was advertised, to $123 which they said was a deposit if anything was destroyed, but it was never credited back onto my card. Also, the water pressure was so low and the tub was slippery. I also smelled of the room odor the next day.

Carpet was NASTY! Left ur feet black! I think I would have been cleaner walking through mud! Defiantly could tell up keep just wasn’t a thing! Maybe carpet clean! Now customer service! Joke! Apparently each room only has 2 pillows!! Asked for another one cause they were flat as a pancake! Yea! HARD NO! I was told “we only have enough for 2 per room” The next night I asked for a clean towel around 9pm when I got back from my day. House keeping didn’t provide any…I was told I could have one “tomorrow at 11am” when house keeping gets in…when I pointed out I check out at 11. He then said “let me see what I can do” proceeds to look under the desk as if that’s where he was gonna find them!!! Comes out the side door and hands me 2 damp towels! I don’t know where he found them but I wasn’t using those! I wasn’t expecting the Ritz’s Carleton! But I’ve stayed in a lot better places! If you don’t care if you’re well rested or clean, book a room! Not kidding one walk across the room and your feet will be nice and dirty!

If you have a vehicle about 25-30 minutes to Downtown Chicago main attractions. Save money definitely on stay,15 minutes from the airport. Staff is very accommodating. We checked out in the morning and the gentleman in charge agreed to keep our bags for no charge till evening. We picked the bags before going to the airport around 5pm.

It served its purpose visiting family and having our own place to sleep. The room was spacious, ac worked great. The breakfast had everything you need for a quick breakfast and a great addition. The rooms need updating but for the price they charge it’s understandable not to make the investment. Safe and convenient location!

It was same as usual. Half the light bilbs dodnt work . The tv wouldnt connect to the wfi so i could link my tablet and phone ,so again i wasnt able to stream anything to watch .

There was a crack in our window, and it didn't have a screen. The breakfast was okay, and the front desk person was polite. Overall, fairly close to what we expected for the price. It wasn't located in a nice neighborhood, but it also wasn't a super scary neighborhood. I felt safe enough knowing I was staying there with two other people.

Room was clean and quiet. Highway noise was not audible and bathroom blower was not audible to anyone in the adjoining bedroom. It was a surprise that, for just a two-night stay, housekeeping came in and cleaned and changed everything after the first night even though we had not requested that. However, some items were not up to par: the hot water was not really hot enough, the hair dryer was inoperable, microwave had to run for 6 minutes to warm one cup of coffee, and the refrigerator needs a shim under one of the corners as it rocks on the floor when you open/close it. The cooler was set at a freezing 61 degrees and was blowing feverishly when we arrived. We re-set it to something more comfortable but housekeeping set it back to 61 after their first-night housekeeping! There is only one (Indian) restaurant within walking distance, but the lobby has brochures for many other local eateries that deliver. Free breakfast was simple but good, including waffles! Not a lot of variety but it is a small motel so wouldn't expect a large spread. Coffee in lobby upon request. Unfortunately, no elevator for carrying heavy luggage up to 2nd-floor room, but it is an older building.

Horrible location... there's only one entrance and when it's Rush Hour there's a line of cars a mile long and you have to pick your way through them to get into the property that's if can find the actual driveway...bare bones rooms...but its a super 8...

We stayed overnight and it was clean & comfortable. We ordered pizza and it was delivered right to our room. Professional staff too.

No coffee machine in the room, but there is coffee in the breakfast area. Breakfast was good. All in all, it was good for the price.

Check in was smooth but about after an hour the desk called and claimed my companion needed an ID as well. It was recently stolen so she currently doesn't have one so they made us check out.

This was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The carpet was not vacuumed. The toilet moved when you sat on it. The tub had some strange stains on it. There was no hand soap or bath soap provided. The "closet" had a rod in it that was 3 feet off the floor and above that, there was a piece of unfinished plywood--I suppose for a storage shelf. The furniture was very old and dirty. Ick! Learned my lesson!

They had a dirty carpet. The washroom door knob was broken when i checked in but they charged me an incidental fee for 150$. They refuse to give my money back & the staff was very rude about it. They wouldn’t even offer a free night or something to compensate. Overall it was a bad experience

THE ONLY THING THAT MAKE ME FEEL ANGRY WAS THAT IN MY 4 NIGHTS STAYING, I HAVE TO TOLD FOR PRIVACY THAT THE HOUSEKEEPING CLOSE THE COURTAINS AFTER CLEANING AND NEVER DID THAT, SO EVERYBODY THAT PASSES COULD SEE MY PPERSONAL STUFF. BUT IT WAS JUST 1 PERSON, THE MAN FROM THE FRONT DESK WAS ALWAYS A VERY HELPFULL PERSON.

I rarely give reviews but I just had to, to help people decide if they want to book a room here. When stepping into our room, the first thing we noticed is the room air is moist and kind of smell like moldy (don’t know if there’s mold around hiding or covered)? I turned the TV on and the screen already cracked so I took a picture in case they think i cracked it when i didn’t, also my sister witness it with me, so I have proof. The bathroom switch already broken, hair in the bathtub, and rusty shower head (took pictures as proof). Door looks busted (also took pictures of it). Went to report to front desk about everything and the first thing they said is did i broke the tv? I said no and showed all of the pictures to front desk including telling them my sister witnessed it with me. I don’t want to be scammed for something i didn’t do so i took pictures and luckily my sister saw it with me. They offer a new room but i declined and checked out. They said they will refund me 100% and let the manager know. I asked them to give me their email and they did in case i don’t receive my refund. And they said to call them if I don’t receive it. I hope they answer their phone calls, because i tried to get a hold of them before and no one picked up, even though there is a person at the front desk, so i don’t know if it’s on purpose or not?? That’s just my sister and I experience at the place. My advise is, always take pictures as proof if something happens when you didn’t do it.

Hot shower god working fridge and the front desk was very helpful to book me a few more nights. The only thing is if you have trouble sleeping get room on back end of building. River Road was busy all night.

Toilet seat shifts 3" on both sides, changed room now tv remotes does not work, so shown a hidden on off switch with 2 complaints. parking spaces intersect so difficult to get out of or totally blocked, nasty frozen hard boiled eggs or egg discs for breakfast, stick with yogurt or very small juice 1/4 cup. Very pleasant desk staff, thank you.

Sadly this property needs some major upkeep. A mildew and mold ridden bathroom was the worst of it. A broken lock on the door and broken drains in both the sink and shower were present as well.

The room was not how the pictures described, it had a moldy humid smell, I check around the beds and behind and found trash, a pair of shoes and empty cups, also a couple was arguing outside the office, the woman was terrified and a group of guys were yelling and had music super loud .. we decide not to stay it was very disappointed.

The room was a good size and the bed was clean! Appreciated the mini fridge and the microwave though the microwave had 2 keep movin 2 fit in the wall plug! Bathroom COULD use a bit of an update, definite need 2 up the water pressure a bit but its a super 8! Definitely good for a 2-3 day quick stay, id stay again!

We were disappointed with our stay. The Lamp fixture on the nightstand was broken. As a result there was only light from the one working lamp on the opposite nightstand and fewer outlets. The shower had holes drilled into the wall. The freezer door cover was broken. The plastic door on the TV remote was missing. The small 1"x1-1/2" soapbar was too small to be useful, so we supplied our own soap. The room and the beds were clean.
