Location. Rooms were small but very quiet. We were told we would get 2 twins and 2 bunk beds but ended up getting 4 bunk beds instead

The beautiful building as well as the artwork around the facility. Check it was a bit hectic but we were traveling internationally. Rooms checked in later than expected but when going inside they were already used! All bedrooms! Tried explaining to front desk staff but only was treated as if it was no big deal. The clerk lacked compassion and empathy. When finally getting rooms changed, my colleague in another room that we I booked discovered blood stains in her bed! Pics to prove everything if needed! Loft with zigzag stairway is beyond dangerous! Had a friend that fell down going to the bathroom! Interesting design, deadly fall!

This place has a nice pool near the restaurant. Staff were nice. There are lots of mosquitoes and they are hard to see because of the dim lighting throughout the property, you can expect many bites. One dorm room with 8 beds had one bathroom and the sink was outside where the beds are and you will disturb everyone just by brushing your teeth. Everyone in the room was disappointed. This hostel is also not located in any major neighbourhood and expect to use Uber all the time to connect with the rest of the city.

Cool place, nice staff, great breakfasts, multiple pools and a good location. Good value, I would go back for sure to stay again. and live music by the pool was Amazing! Lots of character to the property.

Breakfast was a bit expensive, I wish we could order items ala carteirinha Lighting in bunks was a bit dim, both pools were closed at one point?

Clean, convenient, great restaurant The door to my room (bed30) is so loud, needs to be fixed so loud every entry and exit wakes up room

The location, the neighborhood is amazing and is close to every tourist places. The rooms are cool and the beds are comfortable. The guest are friendly and help us in everything ⭐️. Sometimes the sounds for the next rooms are easier to hear.

Almost everything, the facilities and the staff are great! The people that stays there are also very cool and generally from all of the world! The breakfast is always the same, I prefer to not pay it and go out to eat somewhere else

Loved the location as we were close enough to everything we wanted to see and do but far enough from all the craziness of touristy places. The staff was super nice and friendly, love the amount of activities throughout the week as well. MOSQUITOS!!! the amount of mosquitos here is insane honestly the only negative thing about this place.

Hot pool mosquitoes

Overpriced for what it is. I had to wait a very long time to check in for no clear reason — the staff was disorganized and inefficient. Once I got to the dorm, there were no bed sheets, and I received no explanation about the room, the bed assignment, or how the hostel works. It wasn’t very clean, and overall the place felt chaotic and poorly managed. Not worth the price at all.

Breakfast was fine and location stunning. The room was way overpriced for what it offered. It was located right next to the swimming pool, making it extremely humid — it was impossible to sleep, nothing would dry, and there was a terrible smell. The staff was unhelpful and uninformed about the services offered — for example, they gave us incorrect information when we asked about planning a trip to Ilha Grande. There were also missing towels and bed sheets. We also got terrible insect bites — something that never happened to us in Rio. Overall, everything was a disappointment — even the service and the staff. Definitely not worth the price.

The facilities and food were amazing The room 30 that I stayed in was super uncomfortable and smelly. The bathroom and sink smell terrible al day, maybe its a pipe, septic tank problem but it was nauseating. And also far from the tourists places except for the train to the christ

I just didn’t find the attention to be great, it’s a huge place and no one helps you get to your room, they have a map but it was still a bit difficult. Also the bathrooms had soaps and things that seemed to be there for a long time. I think the price was too expensive for a shared room of 8 people, but at least it was comfortable.

The historical building is very beautiful
-
Everything was excellent The bed creaked a little, but nothing serious.
-
Stunning place and beautiful design, but the staff doesn't work like a professional! And they don't have the patience to approach the deaf..
-
Very comfortable and clean rooms, good mattresses, has a hotel feel Not very social, need to walk for a15 min to reach shops and restaurants
