Unfortunately, in the second room, there were visible signs of water damage around the faucet and on parts of the flooring, which was concerning. That said, everything else about our stay was excellent. The beds were comfortable, housekeeping did a great job, the pool was clean and enjoyable, and the breakfast was outstanding. Those areas definitely deserve five stars. I hope the hotel addresses the water issues because the staff and amenities were otherwise great.

AC couldn't keep room cool. It was so humid they brought a dehumidifier in our room. They key cards would deactivate and we had to go get them re activated 4 times. The card readers on the outside doors and the door to the pool didnt work because the batteries were dead. We couldn't get into the pool because the staff didnt have a regular key to the door. Once someone broke into the pool door, they used towels to keep the door from shutting

Shower would not work only the tub. Went to the front desk to ask and she picked up a small laminate card saying you have to reach under the faucet and pull down on an attachment ? Says didn’t I tell you that ? Really ? Blame it on me ? Total rip off don’t stay here please…

No coffee pot in the room.

This was a quick overnight stay for me so I did not get to use all the amenities. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hot breakfast in the morning was a bonus.

They had to give me a new room after the first day. There was no hot water. Remote for TV did not work. Second room did not have hot water at first but did have hot water later. Tub drain would not plug so water kept draining out. The staff was super friendly and very apologetic but overall the rooms are in serious disrepair. The faucet handles in both rooms were all janky. The drain is the first room was all rusted. I expected rooms in much better condition for the money.

The front desk had wonderfully friendly staff both morning and evening

The check-in lady was great and fast and accommodating. The place was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was good as Holiday Inn as it is usually.

Kinda older

We booked this room because the app said it was handicapped accessible. That it had a seated shower. That was a necessity in our travels. It had neither. If I would have known this, I wouldn’t have booked. When we mentioned this to the lady at the desk ( she was very helpful and polite), she said that the app has been told that it is not handicapped accessible and it hasn’t been changed. Being handicapped during travel is already hard enough. When you check into a room late at night and the only thing you want is an accessibility shower, and you find out that this isn’t possible. Ugh! Very very irritating.

Would not stay there again or recommend it. Avoid if possible. Also on Holiday Inn internet site room totaled $340.00! Ridiculous!! Had to book on Expedia for 270.00...still too high for this hotel...and received no points because i didnt book through Holiday Inn. Not my best experience!! Hope the Holiday Inn Corporate sees this and does something!!!!

Right off the highway, clean. Only 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and the Aquarium. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The pillows I could not get comfortable with

The property was okay. The room was lacking some things. As a couple who travels, we appreciate an additional chair. This room has a sleeper sofa, king bed, a chaise lounge of some sort that looked uncomfortable, tiny bed side tables (i use a cpap machine with oxygen bled into it, so this is a big issue for me), limited lighting, communal soap, lotion, etc (meaning a big bottle with a pump instead of individual use), a refrigerator that did what it was supposed to do, but rocked horribly and was not level, no blankets except the duvet on the bed. Perhaps there were some hidden in the pull out sofa, but we didn't want to go through that effort to find one. Everyone we encountered who was staff were very kind.

Nice stay

For the second and third night, our waternin our room ran dark brown, the color of tea. The desk clerk didn't seem worried. We let it run for a while until it seemed clear, but didn't drink that water just in case.

Night staff was not very friendly. No hot tub and the fitness room was closed.

Bathroom badly needs renovation. Cracks around the shower need caulking, bathroom needs paint. Bathroom fixtures badly need replacing they are corroded

Even though we had the do not disturb sign out housekeeping decided to start knocking at 9:00 AM and came in. Left an AirPod and when we went back the front lady was as rude about it as possible. Said the room was already cleaned and it was probably gone. I pushed back and got in the room, it wasn’t cleaned and we found the AirPod

The lady & gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to the Interstate and plenty of late night food options were available within walkable distance.

Hotel’ staff was very welcoming. The hotel and room were clean. Good hot complimentary breakfast. Ringgold is a small town full of history. Great local restaurants. It was a great stop.

It was a good stay convenient right off the interstate. Rooms were clean just needed some remodeling. Plenty of places to eat right by the hotel.

We were not at the hotel but one night. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. The only complaint is that the bed was not at all comfortable. We had a long drive ahead of us and my husband back hurt pretty bad when we woke up so he was fairly tired all tired. We would stay here again if we ever drove through Georgia again.

It was clean & quiet. I liked that they had liquid hand soap, instead of those tiny soap bars. Nice Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash mounted on wall in shower. Employees were pleasant.

Dirty bed , dirty shower absolutely the worse and they will charge you a $75 pet fee.

My wife and I stayed in the king suite with a jetted tub for 2 nights during winter storm Cora. The only issues we had during our stay was with the jets automatically shutting off after about 15 mins and wouldn't restart for another 15 mins or so. Many jacuzzi tubs have timers/reset switches that are accessible. This one did not. Not a deal breaker, just annoying. Also, the hallway and lobby/breakfast area was rather cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the check-in/out process was quick and easy, the breakfast was good, and the bed was comfortable. But if you are allergic to feather(down) pillows, please check your pillows. My wife's pillows were filled with down and she woke up sneezing the first morning and she had to take Benadryl. They do also have poly filled pillows. We will likely return.

Single elevator very slow, ice only on main floor. Shower/bath faucet almost impossible to turn. Very corroded.

The property was clean and fresh BUT the beds were not the most comfortable. I would consider staying again but would hope the beds are upgraded by then. The breakfast was good and the lady handling the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful.

The front desk people were super polite. She did a demo of how to get the shower to work. Which is brilliant

Bathroom, dirty door key didn’t work

The hotel smelled of sewage, the bathroom shower and around the toilet were dirty, and the genereral upkeep seemed to be ignored.

I learned I should have booked through the actual hotel. Could have saved myself $30. Expedia did NOT give/have the best price.

The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!!!! The beds were super comfy and not noisy like some spring loaded beds. Overall experience was great, although I will say that the tub needed to be refinished. It was super gritty and felt like sand under your feet. Would still stay here again.

We were only staying there for one night. There was a very distinct odor when you walked in the building. It was not pleasant and when you went up the very slow elevator to your floor, the room itself smelled like mildew or just stale moisture. There was a dehumidifier in the room that wasn’t built for the size room so halfway through the night it starts beeping that it needs to be emptied. Even the pillows smelled like mildew.

Air conditioning unit was not functioning properly. This most likely accounted for the slight musty smell. Was not able to figure out the shower system, and there was no attendant in the lobby area when I went to check on that.

This is an old, worn-old property that deserves a poor rating. We booked a "suite" and our room was not even close to a suite. Just a big room with some extra old furniture in addition to the best. Gloomy and dark. Bathroom terrible. Metal items rusted. (I took photos if property doubts my review.) Shower head about 3' off the ground. Holiday In Express shouldn't even offer this location!

The phone wasn't connected in the room. I wasn't able to access the internet, with wrong directions from the front desk, until the third try. The remote on the television only worked sporadically.

The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I will likely stay there again when I am in town as it’s a good value for the price; i’d rather deal with the minor annoyances, then pay considerably more for a different hotel.

Clean and easy to find

The property was convenient. The price was outrageous 300 plus for one night. There was very limited seating in the breakfast area. Our room was 214. The bathroom had a constant sewage smell to it. There are no plugs for phone chargers so make sure you have a block. The drawer in the nightstand was held closed by a piece of Scotch tape and popped open multiple times during the night. Hit my knee on it once during the night coming back from the restroom. There was a dehumidifier in our room that was dirty and ran all night long. The prices were basically doubled because of softball tournament but the property was definitely not worth the price. Staff was friendly and breakfast seemed decent.

I liked the area. The key card never worked- constantly had to go to front desk to get a new card. Front desk staff stated several times they have reported issues. The property listed an indoor Pool when booking, however upon arrival the pool was closed for repairs. Rarely saw anyone working on pool.

Pictures does not match what property looks like. Property is a very run down motel . Smells of mold. Bugs in bathroom.

Internet was difficult to connect, the in room phone was inoperable, was not notified that the pool was not operational. Price should have been modified.

At check in front desk was watching a soap opera blasting on tv in Libby. On check out morning room keys all over the place were not working. No one at desk from 6:55-7:25. Had to find a cook who got mater key to start letting guests back in rooms

The front desk staff when we arrived was super. Made us feel so welcome. The room was clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was great...lots of choices.

A horrible experience

Door key would not work and had to have staff mechanically open the door. Pool CLOSED for renovation, which would have been nice to know before booking and check in as it was 101 degrees out.

I would def recommend to a friend

The shower control was about to fall off and didnt work properly. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. At this price everything should be immaculate and work perfectly. We will certainly consider this when choosing a hotel for our next trip.

Stayed on a pass through trip. The lobby was clean and organized; the staff was friendly and efficient; the room was clean; the ammenites were decent; and the morning breakfast was tasty. Will stay agin if through that way.

The bathroom had a severe smell like a men's room at a gas station. The remote would not turn the television on or off. The ice machine was at the complete opposite end of the facility. The pool was closed. The workout room was closed. The breakfast was barely stocked, being out of butter and milk. That's enough.

Nothing unique just a nice hotel

We had a dog with us so they put us at the end of the hallway next to the door. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The TV remote did not work to change the channels. The tub did not drain properly, but overall a nice hotel.

The hotel was VERY nice and extremely clean. The only suggestion I have relates to the bedding. Holy cow, the down comforter was so soft and comfortable, however, I was either uncovered and cold or covered up and pouring sweat. The mattresses were comfortable, and we were pleased with the selections available at breakfast. Would definitely stay there again but might bring our own blanket next time.

We were traveling to Florida with our grandkids. We paid extra to stay at a high end hotel with an indoor pool but we’re very disappointed to find the indoor pool was ice cold. After a long travel day we were looking forward to a nice soak in the pool. Very disappointed to let the kids down

Very clean and comfortable beds. Wish they provided water all day. Breakfast is served for VERY limited hours. Common area is welcoming. Front desk staff were efficient but not overly friendly. Great easy location for our activities. Check out could stand to be a bit later.
