    The rooms and carpets need real make over. Carpet was sticky and dirty. Furnitures were broke ripped off. Breakfast is minimal with no eggs or proteins.

    I stay at this hotel often for work. It's 1 of the cheapest in Richmond South. For your money it's what you'd expect. I've never found any bugs there which is a big plus. But there is usually a strong smell of cigarettes. The breakfast is free but there's never much there.

    You get what you pay for. The staff was friendly enough, and the rooms were clean as far as I could tell, but the property is not well maintained or kept up. Trash in the parking lot and grass, the back stairs hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks probably, many broken items and pieces of furniture in the rooms (to include the window which my child almost stuck her finger through). It is fine if you need a place to put your head down and get a night of rest. Not exactly the place you want to take your family with small kids to stay for a few days.

    There were only 2 small, flat pillows on each bed. The front desk man said they had no extra pillows. There was a large gap around the doorway that light shown through and loud sounds of people and doors slamming kept us awake throughout the night. The shower was the size of a phone booth. It was tucked into a dark corner of the little bathroom and had no working light. Of the 3 lights over the vanity, only 2 had working lightbulbs. There was no late checkout. A detailed notice of what will cause a person to be expelled from the property was posted on top of the front desk made it feel as if the property was unsafe.

    the bed is always comfortable batter for the waffles, muffins or danishes, cereal something to eat when it says breakfast included, the toilet was broke and leaked I called front desk to ask for someone to come fix it and the guy said we have no one and u can come use the bathroom down stairs , the closet door was broke , the shower was dirty you couldn't see thru the door , the toilet handle was taped on the tank, the ac was barley blowing out air cause the filters was so dirty, the tv was in and out big white lights on the screen , the soap and stuff was leaking on the sick from the bottles, we have never had a complaint all the times we have stayed there and bragged about it , we were even talkn of bringing family down to stay but I cant expose family to that .

    Room was terrible! The furniture has cigarette burns and the cabinets had missing hardware. Smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, there was also an outlet hanging out of the wall. Hairdryer had melted. The refrigerator had leaked and ruined my leftovers. And the last straw was when I was going to shower and it had grime all over it. I was going to try and at least stay one night. But the thought of them not properly cleaning the room worried I would be sleeping with bed bugs

    The coffee machine in the lobby produced really good coffee. The room had a weird capsule like shower enclosure. I really wanted a bathtub. The staff at the front desk has terrible customer service skills. I felt like a transaction rather than welcome. The carpet is older than Moses and had a musty odor, especially when we walked in the room. The furniture is in need of replacing. Much of the wood was chipped and the chair in our room looked like a dog had chewed it and was stained. Also, I was hoping for a coffee pot in the room.

    We get there and there is hair all over the beds, both of them!! There was hair all over the shower. They had a plastic bag covering the smoke detector so very unsafe!! And the TV didn’t work in the room. The guy at the front desk was so high (all you could smell was weed as soon as you walked in the hotel) but he wouldn’t help with the TV at all. Didn’t even try! And gave us sheets for us to make the beds but didn’t have any blankets for us to use. Terrible experience all around! Highly do not recommend this place at all! Motel 6 would be a lot better!!

    Checked into the hotel at 7:45 put my luggage in the room left to go to dinner when we got back around 9 PM. The card key would not work at the door so my girlfriend went and had the front desk redo the key we get in the room and there’s people in the room. They double booked the same room put us in that room by accident and took our luggage downstairs then they put us in the correct room in that room was dirty so we had to go to a third room, which was a lot better but it was still not very clean. Hotel needs new mattresses paint job cleaned up better Very unhappy experience.

    Overall, I’m not sure if this property has been taken over by new management and they’re trying to rehab it. Or if it’s just going downhill. There was some damaged spots on the walls and the trimmings. The air conditioning worked just fine. I would probably not stay here again.

    The hotel is getting a bit run down. The floral cleaner/incense smell was very strong in the room, but the hallway smelled like smoke. The room was clean, just old. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but I wouldn’t choose this location again.

    Don't think I'll be staying there or recommend, the breakfast coffee sucks not too much to choice from the wifi is horrible especially if you have kids that have devices, there's to many rules like no visitors, the price is high on top of that they charge you extra $50 for damages which the rooms already have tier/wear! Not the best hotel!

    Mold of every color growing in the bathroom. When we got there both rooms had the heat set to the mid 80s (it was 70 in Richmond, so completely unnecessary), and one of the rooms had a smell.

We were 4 pepole staying and the breakfast area was very limited to the bread items. Only had 2 bagels on a couple slices of bread and muffins. Overall dislike our stay.

    The first night I slept lake a baby, second night, in the next room someone was slapping the door every five or ten minutes none stop, but i did hear somebody calling the attention on him and he stop, so i will said is wasn’t the hotels fault, hotel is good. I like it.

    I knew this was a budget hotel but it is in a bad area and since there were people hanging out in cars in back and the back door does not lock I did not feel safe and checked out early but haven’t received any money back

    Every employee was extremely rude and couldn’t bother to help in any way. Our room had an overwhelming smell of weed when we walked in. We had to leave the window open for hours. The sink and shower were broken and things weren’t clean.

    The sink started gushing water just before 10pm so we called down to the desk for service, waited for a long time before we had to call again. We were given another room but we had to go all the way back down to the front desk to get the keys when the new room was literally across the hall. How embarrassing to have to go down 3 floors in your nightgown…. The next day, we returned to our room and the key wouldn’t work so we had to go back down to the front desk. It turns out the keys deactivate at noon everyday despite the length of your stay so we had to go to the front desk each day for four days to get our keys reactivated…. The next morning, housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:45am just to collect our dirty towels. Upon returning later that afternoon, we found they hadn’t emptied the trash or replaced any linens. Also, the towels they did give us were just placed on the tv stand instead of in the bathroom. Not a single person in this hotel smiled at us, greeted us or even apologized for any of the multiple inconveniences we experienced. Will NEVER stay here again.

    This property required a $50 damage deposit, which should have warned me that things were not good. Room smelled bad, mold on bathroom ceiling, missing one side table, bed very uncomfortable and low, hair on the bathroom floor. Doors banging all night long, people in hallway and outside coming and going. Did not feel safe there. Had little if any rest. Did not use shower as bathroom was dirty. Would not recommend to stay there. Area very sparsely occupied with other businesses. The one next door was closed. Not favorable area, won't use Sleep Inn again.

    The second time we stayed, the light switch was broken, pieces of the ac vent were knocked off and parts of the bottom wall were falling off in the bathroom. Our door was the worst! We couldn't get it to open with the key unless we ran it through quickly about 10 times. Breakfast was closed before we came down at 8:30am. It was incredibly noisy this second night as well.

    I had a quick getaway for 2 nights. It was a decent room and clean. My microwave didn’t work but the staff allowed me to use the one in the breakfast area. Overall not bad for the price. The staff was friendly and although I don’t really know the area we felt safe.

    The needs improvement: Smelled old so my travel air freshener came in handy. The first room I got had a bathroom light that didn’t turn off, part of the door latch was missing to close from the inside so traveling alone was concerning & several parts of the particle board furniture was broken & exposed. I didn’t want to be liable so they switched me to the room next door. I was located right to next to the first floor exit so the door slamming all night kept me up & made my dog bark each time. I didn’t sleep much. Too tired to change rooms again. The next night there was no issue with that. I had issues with my key cards not working a few times during my stay. That has happened at other places but this was more than most. It’s an industrial area close to Chester so I wouldn’t want to stay here alone again. I did ask for an early check in & they did offer it but there’s a fee. There was also another fee for having my dog there each night. I wish that was stated on the booking site. With the extras I paid, I would have just gotten a more comfortable nicer hotel elsewhere. Great if you don’t care about that last stuff but for me it suffices for what I needed.

    It is always a crap shoot traveling with large dogs and finding a place to stay last minute along I-95. This hotel still has carpets on the floor and just didn’t “feel” clean. Bed sheets had some stains and the shower had mold inside on the joints of the shower wall units.

    The woman checking us in was pleasant even after I expressed my unhappiness w/ the smell in the room (#101) that damn near knocked me off my feet as soon as I opened the door. The smell was a cross between food, dampness, and body odor- nauseating to say the least. The woman spoke w/ two gentlemen who came from the back office about needing another room for me. One of the men came to me saying there was one other double room available but the carpet closest to the air conditioner was wet but he’d show it to me just in case I wanted it. I literally had to ask him to repeat himself because I couldn’t believe what came out of his mouth was an offer to sleep in a room w/ a wet carpet. I opted to leave and asked that my reservation be canceled and refunded immediately. The owners clearly don’t care about the conditions of the rooms and ought to be ashamed of themselves for allowing guests to book rooms kept in such poor condition.

    It was a small, quaint hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that there was an enclosed shower with a door, which keeps the floor from getting wet. The overall appearance of the place was rather worn, especially the carpets in the hall. Also, the furniture was chipped. It could really use some sprucing up, but it was nicely decorated and clean. I would recommend it overall.
