Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests appreciating the comfortable beds and friendly staff, but expressing concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, and breakfast quality. Some guests also mentioned issues with construction noise and outdated facilities.
- Comfortable beds
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Cleanliness issues, including mold and stains
- Maintenance problems, such as broken air conditioning and plumbing
- 4/5
Only complaint was that the shower water was not hot.
- 2/5
Could be a little cleaner. Staff was very kind and helpful.
- 5/5
This was and is THE BEST hotel in all of Richmond. The rooms were amazingly cute, and so was the lobby and the dining area and the staff were amazing, from the wonderful gentleman at the front desk named Kevin, who was just so professional and just THE BEST! Even the wonderful housekeepers were amazing. Everything was amazing and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
- 4/5
staff are friendly and the rooms are clean breakfast need improvement
- 1.5/5
Parking The hotel needs a makeover. Everything looks very old. Breakfast is very sparse; the only thing worth eating is the waffles. Breakfast is only served until 9 am. They ran out of coffee cups, and there’s nowhere to get more. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. A broken window facing the street. The linens are torn and damp, with an unpleasant odor. The pillows are small and dirty, and the pillowcases are the wrong size. The price is too high for a hotel of this standard; you’re better off finding something better for the money.
- 3/5
Breakfast was the best part of the experience. The waffle maker and breakfast sandwiches were good.
- 4/5
The overall place was a little dated but the room was large and comfortable. Worked out well for my one night stay. Close to restaurants, stores, gas station, convenient and parking easy.
- 4/5
The location was good. Kitchen and breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh and testy. No comment. I liked Everything.
- 3/5
Only 1 elevator the hotel was older but nice. The chair in my room for the desk was rickity and dated. I used the iron which leaked and the ironing board was as old and rickity. The room was small the bathroom was tiny but the room was clean and the bed was comfy so all in all my hotel experience was ok.
- 2.5/5
The hotel staff were very friendly. The shower in the room was not the cleanest and the pillows were small square pillows, like the ones you find on a sofa.
- 5/5
A wonderful find! I needed a place to stay after a long day of airplane flights. I didn’t want to stay by the airport but knew nothing of the area around it. Based on others recommendations, I chose this one. I was happy with everything.
- 4/5
I think the breakfast could of been better. Waffles were good but there could of been more selection. Not enough selection at breakfast bar.
- 5/5
Sleep Inn was so comfortable! The staff were incredible. Very caring and friendly. They really wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. The beds were super comfy, everything was clean, and the 12 pm check out time is clutch. The hot water and water pressure were also fabulous. I’d stay here again!
- 3/5
The elevator was constantly out of service and I was on the fourth floor. This is not a good thing when you have a bad back.
- 4.5/5
the sticky floor
- 4/5
I love the fact that they had breakfast in the morning always fresh and clean would recommend to my family and friends and would stay again in the future
- 5/5
The bathroom was a good size. I wish there were a few handicap grips to hold on to. I don’t think it’s too safe to have the shower door open both ways with nothing to grab on too. I have a bad knee and lost balance and went to grab into the shower door and hurt my other leg. But other than that our stay was fine.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and hot and cold breakfast! No parking fee and it’s in a great location across from a Walmart and a Food Lion.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular. I would stay again.
- 4.5/5
It’s convenient and exceptionally clean. N/A
- 5/5
A wonderful budget experience with nice clean comfortable beds and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly helpful staff too!
- 4/5
Easy to find, staff was very kind and accommodating. Great area for my pets. Wasn't notified there was additional fees for my pets. Wasn't super expensive, just wasn't aware at booking so it made the reservation less economical. The breakfast was very limited.
- 4/5
Slightly dated, but otherwise very clean, decent budget hotel. Great Mexican restaurant right next door. Friendly, professional staff.

- 3/5
Hotel was extremely noisy guest running in and out of rules in the hallways very loud. Had to call down to front desk and noise still continued
- 5/5
Tina was awesome per usual. She made sure I had a great room and comfortable stay
- 5/5
The receptionist was very helpful and assured me the hotel and area were safe
- 5/5
Tina is awesome. She greets me by my first name when ever I arrive and she goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean hotel. Would stay again. Lora the manager is super nice and very helpful
- 4.5/5
Parking limited and parking lots difficult to maneuver (turn around in when no parking places found).
- 2/5
Comfortable beds. Mirror was dirty. Sounded like very heavy footsteps above our room—maybe because of no carpet? Not enough water pressure in the shower. Had a waffle machine, but not in use. Had a sign not to put boiled eggs in the microwave, but no eggs available. Only had breakfast bars, dry cereal, and instant oatmeal—not really much of anything. No one available at desk for checkout.
- 2.5/5
Beds were very comfortable. Relatively good location (Mexican restaurant 20 feet away was convenient). The floors in the bedroom were sticky. Shower water pressure was non-existent. Little black (rodent??) things scattered along wall. Though I indicated I'd pay at the property, they ran my credit card early.
- 4/5
old property, not enough tower, my husband tried to call front desk for extra tower, the phone in the room didn't work.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. All the staff were very nice. They all gave you eye contact and spoke good and kind. The doors in rooms from hallway. You could hear when people were coming and going. So the door could be sealed better.
- 2/5
Our neighbors were very very very loud from 2 am to 345 am. With Music and (Other Things ) going on in the room. We couldn't get any sleep on our last night there so we decided to leaves at 4am. Not peaceful at all.
- 4/5
Hot water handle at the sink squeaked loudly! The concrete floor was cold for bare feet.
- 3/5
It smells chemicals. The AC is hardly working.
- 4/5
Free parking, decent location, very friendly staff. Breakfast was kind of poor, but overall a good stay and for the price really good.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 2/5
Hotel was outdated, dirty, and in need of repair.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 3.5/5
Bed was very comfortable. Shower dripped, water marks on ceiling, cleaning staff talked outside my door. I took pictures of ceiling to show front desk and the response was “I don’t inspect rooms”… that really needs to change!
- 2/5
Location
- 3/5
The bed was hard and not comfortable. Shower had mildew/mold. Tv did not work.
- 1/5
The check in personnel was extremely rude, there were unexpected charges where the amount was not mentioned anywhere. The pillows were very small- oddly shaped pillows and the linens didn’t look clean at all with some dirt we wiped off. The cleaning was dome but everywhere was sticky. The shower was leaking and theshampoo quality was very very low.
- 5/5
The atmosphere they create is warm and positive, which really makes the hostel feel like a home away from home. It’s clear that the team truly cares about the guests and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. On top of that, the space was clean, well organized, and in a great location. But honestly, it’s the people who work here that make the biggest difference. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable place to stay. 🌟
- 3/5
The room was ok and the staff were very nice
- 2/5
I contacted the front desk to request a room change, but unfortunately my request was declined, which was disappointing and affected our stay. Breakfast was also below expectations. The waffles were the only good option available. There were no bagels, bread, hot eggs, or sausages. Some frozen sandwiches were provided, and there was a microwave to heat them, but the selection was quite limited.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Room was clean, area was quiet and staff was friendly. Breakfast was a bit lacking, mostly junk food but coffee was good.
- 4/5
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable
- 5/5
The hotel smelled clean all though out. The room was nice. Bed comfy. Only came in town to spend some time with my babe so it served its purpose.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, Front Desk Agents was very nice and Food & Stores was very convenient. Highly Recomend.
- 4/5
Comfortable, clean, and helpful
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
clean room , nice breakfast
- 1/5
I actually paid for two nights, but I left after the first. When I checked in they reminded me it's a smoke-free environment which is what I expected. The hallways smelled like weed so obviously they don't care. My toilet had a hard time flushing and they asked me if I flushed it completely? I got annoyed, at my age I know how to use a toilet. Their breakfast options were terrible so I'd rather they didn't even bother with offering one. I would rather lose out on the time I paid for than stay another night. It seemed sketchy and one night was enough.
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
The only bad. They take you $50 deposit , never happened that to me in any other hotel

For such short notice to get off the road, they welcomed us with open arms. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
- 3/5
Room was pretty good and breakfast was what i expected. Overall stay was good.
- 1/5
I was denied a room in payed for and the lady at the front desk violated the Americans with disabilities act. She also threatened to call the cops when I called and a refund. Avoid this place.
- 5/5
Nice place to be

- 4/5
Respectful staff Good breakfast Good air quality
- 5/5
No problems here!
- 3/5
Courteous staff and accommodating for a very late arrival. Room was fine but the vent in the bathroom smelled like sewer.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Definitely enjoyed the stay with my kids.
- 5/5
Breakfast wasn’t nothing like advertised
- 5/5
Clean room friendly front desk staff.
- 5/5
The greatest staff- very nice and considerate
- 5/5
Staff was so nice and caring. Great people.
- 5/5
Nicest staff ever
- 5/5
Greatest staff. So nice
- 5/5
Fabulouse
- 5/5
Yes it was spotless. The managers are the nicest people. I was working on cleaning out a house in the area, came back late ( and dragging) they gave me a soda knowing I always went to the machine ( and it wasn’t working) - they had one waiting to give to me. Nicest people:)
- 3/5
Good cheap option but be aware that the bedding and bathroom are dirty. The linens were old and the bed was stained. We brought our own blankets and cleaner to disinfect.
- 5/5
Nice and pleasant stay, the management were very courteous. Would stay again, thank you!
- 5/5
thank you for the stay
- 5/5
Staff was courteous, room was clean, plenty of breakfast choices
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was very gracious host.
- 5/5
Great front desk and staff
- 3/5
Needed a room fora softball tournament
- 5/5
The little interaction I had with staff was good. I like the option of being able to pay in cash.
- 5/5
Great staff good breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Room was fine just need updating. Food was okay too
- 4/5
It was good except for the fact that their credit card system was broken all weekend! I had to put down a $100 cash deposit for "incidentals". I did get it back when I checked out, but it was a good thing that I had paid in advance. Why they could not get their credit card system repaired in a timely manner is beyond me.
- 3/5
Had a friendly & attentive staff, plenty of parking near the front entrance, and a clean room with nice amenities (microwave/fridge, shampoo/conditioner). Condition of the room could have been better, and the hair dryer didn’t work. Temperature control worked, but the room seemed a little humid or damp through most of our stay -- it was raining outside one day but not overly hot. Breakfast options were great, and the prep and dining areas were kept clean. Overall decent place for the price!
- 4/5
Comfortable bed
- 4/5
Overall a decent place, breakfast hours were over too early in my opinion, staff was very helpful though.
- 5/5
The Continental breakfast had a variety of selections. The muffins and danishes were stale and the orange juice was horrible. Other than that the stay was amazing. I would definitely stay again
- 4/5
Nice quiet area. Facility and surrounding area clean. Bed Pillows too small. Did not like the condition/look of the shower floor. Did not like the discoloring of some of the towels/wash cloths.
- 2/5
Room smells
- 2/5
The bed linens were clean and soft. Pillows were very soft and uncomfortable. We were asked for a $50 incidentals deposit when we checked in. We left the room in great condition, no refunds as of yet, nor did anyone let us know when to expect the refund. This is more like a place you'd stay if you were by yourself. It was loud (no carpet in the room), you could hear someone's door closing halfway down the hallway. Again, no carpet to absorb sound. Breakfast was not great. Crappy selection of items. What we paid was definitely not worth $100 a night.
- 5/5
Fantastic. I already wrote a review about my stay higher. Will definitely return!
- 5/5
Breakfast is ok, modest- waffles, fruits, yogurt, coffee ( great) , muffins. Biscuitss with sausage ( frozen for microwave), also breakfast burrito. Parking lot is good. Strollers for luggage available. Restaurant FRIDA just outsede the building. Also there is Macdonalds, Food Lion, Dollar Tree. MINUSES 1. 100 DOLLARS CASH deposit for a room. Its 50 through the card but after not receiving it back a lot of times before I refuse to pay that way. 2. Room is not of the big size at all. ( For me it was important to have some space cause I make exercises each evening). I d love it to be a little bigger. 3. The mattress is comfortable, but way too light and it slides. So if you stay there for romantic meeting I dont know))). All in all, I am bery happy and will definitely return again.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Experience was great. Everything was lovely. the one downside was a squeaky bed.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 4/5
We went to watch the Nascar race and it was a place to stay. The bed was comfortable. A/C comfort was so so. Room fridge didnt close, towel rack in the bathroom was loose and parking was tight.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good , room was clean , everyday new towels , front desk person was available till late hours around 11p.
- 5/5
The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout my stay. The front desk staff were excellent, friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. One of the highlights of this location is the convenience. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a Walmart just down the street, which made it easy to grab anything I forgot to pack. Overall, this hotel delivered great value, comfort, and service. I’d definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
This place was ok to stay in. Smells like mildew but it’s not the linen on the beds and the floors aren’t carpet so I don’t know exactly what the smell was, and it didn’t have any roaches or critters and the staff was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Very dirty and the maids evidently don't check night stands
- 3/5
The property was very convenient to my in town activities as well as to shopping and eating options nearby. While I did not like the fact that the air conditioning was not working properly in my room, they did come in and replace the entire unit while I was out between my first and second night stays, which speaks well for their maintenance staff! My daughter's room, however, had a stained shower stall that she and her roommates were disgusted at.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Glad I came to stay here room was nice clean bed pillows comfortable
- 2/5
A bit run down
- 5/5
I think it's the best Inn I've stayed. The staffs are friendly and I felt convenient and comfortable
- 3/5
Unfortunately the bathroom was a mess we found the toilet dirty plus man hair around the toilet.
- 5/5
Bathroom was small but it was nice and clean. Would stop here again.
- 2/5
Its supposedly a non smoking hotel, but is that just cigarettes because we smelled strong pot ALL NIGHT in our room. I would highly NOT recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
There is no sleep to be had. No insulation
- 4/5
Easy access off on 95. Good stay for the price!
- 2/5
The bed and pillows were worn and lumpy. The towels were threadbare. Shower was an unusal shaped, small pod and slippery. Shampoo, and lotion dispenseres were empty. Elevators were dirty. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Good for the price.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and friendly and attended to any needs swiftly
- 5/5
Everything was clean and satisfactory.
- 4/5
They were very very accommodating. I left the bag there and they put the bag up for me and waited for someone to come pick it up with an ID.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Overall it met my needs for getting a good sleep but some basics need attention. TV image didn’t even fill the screen, mini fridge had a puddle of water at the bottom (freezer defrosted), WiFi signal very poor - couldn’t stream on my computer without it freezing.
- 5/5
We have a nice stay in this hotel. We'll stay in there every time while planning our travel.
- 4/5
Room was clean, everything worked. Breakfast on the minimal side...more like breakfast snacks.
- 5/5
Super clean hotel!! Close to the interstate without all the noise. Great breakfast selection!
- 2/5
Everything was good up until the next morning of our stay. The toilet was clogged and the person at the desk said we would have to plunge it ourselves unless we wanted to wait until 9am. I had to go down to the lobby to use the restroom. It was clogged as well. Ended up going to the McDonald’s next door
- 5/5
I have stayed here multiple times and this place is normally really clean.
- 5/5
Lovely accessible room with desk, chair, plenty of drawers and closet space, fridge and microwave, tv, radio/alarm clock, nice bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, and a heater/ac that worked well. Nice breakfast served 6-9am. Affordable.
- 5/5
Front desk guy was amazing and helped me remedy a mistake in dates.
- 4/5
This is a quiet hotel, conveniently located for my purpose--visiting gardens in Richmond as part of Virginia Historical Garden Week. There's a choice of fast-food places nearby, which suited my desire to grab something and retreat after an 8-hour day of sightseeing.
- 5/5
The front desk clerk approved my refund as I had booked the next day by accident and not today. Very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was great, staff were friendly
- 4/5
On the older side, but spruced up and clean. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet.
- 5/5
I will rebook this property for sure
- 5/5
This small hotel was clean, and the staff was welcoming. They answered many of my questions. It was conveniently located to the gardens that I was visiting.
- 3/5
No USB plugs in rooms - was told to go and buy an adapter at local store! Breakfast was missing a toaster and bread for toasting. Otherwise was sufficient. Rooms were clean but dated. We were called to see if we had a cart in our room -we never used a cart! we were taking a nap. Would not stay here again when traveling from FL to PA
- 4/5
The stay at the Sleep In Richmond North was good. The beds were comfortable and shower size was big. There needs to be more hooks in the room if the towels are encouraged to be reused to be more environmentally efficient. There was only one mirror at the sink. It would’ve been nice to have a long wall mirror. The grab and go breakfast was great except for the fact that the microwave was not strong enough to cook the burrito/breakfast sandwiches provided. The kids enjoyed the waffle maker and there were lots of breakfast options to choose from. Check in was easy but Check out was challenging. We gave our key card to a gentleman at the front desk to check out. The next day I noticed they charged us for an extra night. When I called the next day, I was told that they will follow up on why we were charged an extra night and send an email. 4 days later and $145 short in my checking account, I have not gotten an email on the refund and when I called back to check I was told by the front desk person to call back in 2 days if it has not been resolved. That does not make sense when it was their mistake. The refund should have been resolved the initial time I called. Therefore the stay was great but the service I gave 2 stars.
- 3/5
Room was fine for a budget hotel. Didn't match what was described in the listing, but it was ok. Breakfast was above average, with microwavable sandwiches as well as the usual other budget breakfast options. Front desk staff were efficient.
- 1/5
The room was gross, there was food in closet and something sticky on the floor when we arrived. The shower floor wasn’t even so it was uncomfortable, drain cover wasn’t even attached. Breakfast included a waffle station, processed foods and frozen breakfast burritos.
- 5/5
The shower was ok but the water did not get very hot.
- 3/5
Cheap price and breakfast included
- 1/5
Went to check out the Bible and there was no bible but a half bag of pork grinds from the previous guests People in the parking lot getting high Room was not clean and in need of updating
- 4/5
The area around the property is a little bit rough but for its price, this is absolutely the best hotel I've stayed at in the Richmond area.
- 5/5
Great value for the price. Staff very accommodating
- 4/5
Good value for it’s price.
- 5/5
My stay was amazing best hotel in rva for a great price..it was so clean and peaceful and a nin smoking hotel wich even tho i smoke i love, i dont ever smoke inside and dont like the smell so i like that, the staff was great and the breakfast bar was full spread..hidden gem in rva
- 5/5
I was so happily surprised , this hotel is a hidden gen in rva, the water crisis had me in need if a place to stay for few days where i could shower and be comfortable , and i didnt wnat to leave, loved that it is a non smoking hotel, super clean and keeps the typical rif raf u see in rva away, super chill and quiet, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the 1et tine ive actually seen a full spread breakfast bar, anaxxing...i will definitely be back

- 5/5
nice quiet and clean room for a Saturday night stay. check in was quick and clerk was very friendly. convenient location and would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
It was pretty good. Nothing special. But adequate
- 5/5
Good place for a temporary rest during long road trip.
- 5/5
Nice stay!!!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Was great stay ..more drink vendumg options would be helpful
- 2/5
Construction next door. Loud noise.
- 4/5
Good value.
- 2/5
The first room we were given did not have a locking door. So we had to change rooms. The second room smelled like marijuana. The hotel was doing renovations at the time so the hallways were cluttered.
- 4/5
Older hotel, but clean and nice.
- 4/5
The side door card readers did not work, I always had to go in through the main door, but maybe this was for security reasons. The contractor that did the "update" did a poor job. The shower pan was not installed at the right tilt, so water pooled at the far end away from the drain. This was room #100. Maybe the other rooms wee OK.
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Good place to stay.
- 4/5
Confused about breakfast as I didn't understand the hotel clerk, so did not get coffee. Our towels were dirty when we arrived,so we had to get a new set. The staff was helpful and I would stay again.
- 4/5
Near everything
- 2/5
This place provided me falsified acceptance to my emotional support cat.It was very emotional and uncomfortable stay without my pet. The front desk representative told me no pets upon arrival. However, there was a dog there. I was interrogated several times, after telling him I had to keep her in our truck. A terrible experience for all of us. My worse stay ever.

- 5/5
The staff was friendly and efficient. When we checked in late in the evening, there was hot water, tea bags, and hot chocolate in the lobby. The room was clean and pleasant.
- 2/5
I went here last year and everything was fine,. This year??? Horrible! When we came to our room, the sheets had some stains on it and including the towels as well. My boyfriend spotted two roaches in our room near our bed and also the shower door was uneven. Somehow my boyfriend was able to fix that!. And the shower area did not feel/look clean at all! We were pretty much disgusted. Now the positive thing was the receptionist was very kind and allowed us to check in early with no fees! My boyfriend and I arrived to VA from Jersey around 11:30am
- 2/5
The Hallways smelled horrible very musky smell and extremely strong A/C made very loud noise leaked water on floor and rattle so much whole front cover fell off Shower door had a gap all the way up leaked water on to bathroom floor t
- 1/5
Water leaking from AC unit in the room after turning on the AC. Water goes every floor in the room. I asked hotel that need change room, but Indian front desk guy of hotel won't change room and try to charge more money if I want to change another room.
- 3/5
I stayed two nights and there was housekeeping during my stay. I won't be using this hotel again.

- 3/5
The bedroom was okay, but the hotel’s hallway stinks. Breakfast was mediocre.
- 2/5
The ace has ac problem
- 1/5
We arrived around 10PM as we tried to check in the clerk asked me for documents about my ADA Certified Dog. My Dog has been certified for 2 years and has all the markings of a certified dog but I don’t carry the documents. I have stayed at Sleep Inn before and that has never been a problem. The very rude clerk refused to let us rent the room because we did not have the documents. On top of that he asked personal questions about me that was none of his business and made me feel very uncomfortable. After arriving 2 hours later then we wanted to because of storms and accidents the worst part of the evening became dealing with this rude clerk and having to find another place to stay. What happen to us was totally unacceptable. Then they have the audacity to refuse to refund us after refusing us to stay.
- 5/5
Quick trip. Check in was simple and easy. Room and breakfast was nice. Didn’t go anywhere but I looked up things to do and there was quite a few options. Karaoke, poetry, etc. Looking forward to returning.
- 2/5
Dirty and not well kept
- 3/5
Room wasn’t in the greatest shape but it looks like they are remodeling. It could have been better. It was fine for an overnight stay. The hallways smelled like weed.
- 4/5
I have stayed at this Sleep Inn several times. It is not perfect, but no place is. I return because it is ALWAYS reliable. The place is always clean, everything works fine, and check in and check out has always been flawless. Can highly recommend the restaurant next door: Frida's.
- 5/5
Great room for the price! Comfy bed, good pillows. Towels were ok, could have been thicker. The refrigerator’s thermostat was broken so we couldn't adjust temp so lots of our things froze. The a/c had a very loud clunk when the compressor turned on, which of course was annoying at night. The shower floor was stained and looked dirty but it was not. The continental breakfast was pretty good! Had all the standards but also had hard boiled eggs and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Overall very happy with our stay.
- 1/5
Room looks updated however the smell is still there. Air conditioning did not work properly and sounds like a cow everytime it come on all during the night. Building feels unstable and you can feel it moving when others walk. No regular coffee creamer or Half and half. And the milk in frig was out of date. The only positive thing was the lady that checked us in Saturday night. She was so kind and welcoming.

Location is on the edge of a mostly abandoned shopping center.

In the middle of me checking in, the desk clerk answered the phone. Rather than put the person on hold, he carried on a lengthy conversation. I had to wait until he was finished. There were other people waiting as well. The customers in person take precedence over those on the phone.

It smells kind of bad, like dogs and cats. It’s an easy place to get to tho
