Great breakfast.

Breakfast was wonderful! Rooms and hallways were super clean and smelled good. King beds were very comfortable. Sofa beds, not so much. Keurig in the room for coffee. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was very comfortable and clean to use! Would stay again. 👍

Nice modern hotel, clean and comfortable room. The name of the hotel includes the ‘midtown’, which is in my opinion deceiving. The hotel is not near midtown or downtown. But overall, a great hotel.

Richard even brought cookies to our room when we asked and they were not out yet.

Convenient location. I stay here once a week. The receptionist was in a hurry to have me checked in. I wanted to ask about my Marriott points/ membership but felt rushed and decided not to. I asked not to be given an adjoining room so was moved to a handicapped accessible room ( She was trying to accommodate me so it is okay) but the room was not the cleanest.

The property and room was wonderful. The staffing in the morning was a little unfriendly but the afternnon/evening person was delightful, We loved having all of the ammenities of the room. We would have loved it even more if they had a hot tub. Very clean and comfortable Beds

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The basketball court, table tennis, corn hole, and pool table were great to have for activities for the kids. The room was spacious and clean.

Operational kitchenette. Hot shower and good amount of counter space. Large TV worked well. Breakfast is better than many other places because they use real eggs. Non-dairy milk is available too. Oatmeal had lots of topping choices.

Comfortable bed. Clean and has everything you may need. It was a busy weekend - hotel was almost fully booked and they were replacing carpets. Waiting to get into room and changed for event was almost impossible. Not a good time for carpet replacement. The breakfast is kind of sad. I have stayed in previous years and it was outstanding. The eggs were done at 8:45 and we had to wait quite a bit for more eggs. The night of our stay we wanted to purchase something from the refrigerator but there wasn’t anyone in the lobby. A note saying will be back in a little while. It appears not enough staff and not good management.

Staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. He had an issue with our room ac as soon as we arrived. However I called the front desk and they switched our room to take care of the problem.

This is my go to hotel when staying in Richmond. The location is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The staff is always courtesy and professional. The rooms are spacious and clean.

The space of the rooms was great and the amenities were wonderful for teens. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was better than the average hotel breakfasts. The only negative was parking. It shares a lot with another large hotel and parking was very scarce. So I parked behind the second hotel, which was next to a homeless encampment.

Great stay!

Room was spotless. Could not find anything to change or suggest, super comfy bed, quality bedding and tightly made bed, fresh pillow cases. These rooms have been used for longer term tenants, so smell was a bit lived in, but not offensive or overly perfumed which was nice. Suggest a room that's not on the light/street side if you like quiet in the mornings.

It was pretty good. Rooms were spacious and clean. TV is TERRIBLE, but a lot of hotels have horrible operating systems. Other than the cool mood of the gentleman checking me in it was good.

I'm verify satisfied with the hotel cleanliness and condition. The staff was great. The reason for the low rating is our room was not available after confirmed reservations through Expedia on the check-in date. We were forced to stay in a room smaller and less expensive that what was reserved. They were not able to refund the price difference through the hotel or Expedia. I'm highly disappointed about that and feel cheated.

Staff fixed a problem with the room being a little musty right away.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the fitness center had everything I needed for my workout routine. However, the absolute highlight of our stay was meeting Kimea (sp?). She is such a lovely person, and I am so grateful we had the opportunity to meet her. She is definitely an asset to this property, and I truly hope to see her again if we return to Virginia. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

My stay was a good one. I was there for 3 nights (Birthday weekend). The staff was friendly and the Complimentary Breakfast was good. The area had plenty of restaurants around so you shouldn’t go hungry. Other guests were a bit loud which was understandable because everyone were celebrating something. My only complaint would be the parking.. A truck and a pickup truck each took up 4 parking spots. Overall I was satisfied…

Very clean, ample parking, nice looking lobby. Room very large Our room was right above a basketball court where people were playing until at least 10 pm. Loud music in public areas, even outside. No lotion in bathroom. Very suburban location where you can’t walk to anything. We knew this but keep it in mind when booking. Trade off is free parking.

A very nice property with inviting lobby, outdoor seating area, and a small bar in the dining room. The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Rooms are very spacious with a seperate dressing area between the beds and the bathroom. Plenty of space in the living area, 4-top dining table and fully equipped kitchen (refrigertor, electric cook top, dishwasher, & microwave).

Very nice hotel but my specific room had the following issues: dirty towel in the bathroom, kitchen light not working properly, and the power went out in the living area, all lights. Even after the power switch was reset the lights did not come back on. When I booked this hotel, the description stated there was tub in this room. There wasn’t when I checked in and the hotel service desk would not change it!

The room was very clean, modern hotel with an excellent bed and pillows. Will definitely stay here again. It was like an apartment. I loved the set up with the bedroom separate from the living room/kitchen area.

The staff was exceptional! They were polite, friendly, and great personalities. The bed was very comfortable too. My only qualm was parking the 3rd night.. I had to park in a dimly lit area when I returned at 10 pm because there were no parking places.

The stay was very nice. Cleanliness and location where our reason for booking and it met those needs. Only downside is pet fee. $100 for a small pet for one night probably would not pay that again But for this trip location was more important than the extra pet fee

Geat hotel pretty new very clean professional and friendly staff front desk attenddes at both check in and discharge were amazing.

They allow dogs in this hotel. There was an adjacent room that had 2 dogs that barked all afternoon and into the night. After speaking with the front desk 3 times, they called the dog owner's cell phone. This is not necessarily the hotel's fault, but they allow dogs, so you may have to deal with barking.

Clean and updated

This hotel is clean and is located in a place where getting around the city was easy. Everywhere we needed to go was within a 15 minute drive.The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping was non-existent after requests. Hotel doesn't separate humans and animals causing an allergic reaction to my wife from bedding.

I've previously reviewed this property. Stayed here twice and my first experience was sub-optimal. Second stay was superb. This location is among the top third of Residence Inn locations I've stayed at. Recommended.

Very clean and well maintained property. They are very twitchy about "third party reservations," whatever that means, here, constantly mentioning restrictions and rules that apply in that particular situation. Other Residence Inn properties that I visit up and down the east coast never mention this administrative distinction and I am never subject to any restrictions as a BonVoy member no matter how I book my room. I've stayed here twice. The first time I was rushed out of my room 90 minutes before checkout time. After complaining about this on my way out, my second stay two days later was exemplary. I consider it a mistake and not an indication of general practice. That having been said, there's no reason not to stay here. It's a typically comfortable, quiet and safe Marriott property.

All was well with our stay. Finding the lobby was difficult. Blended into the building without signage. Walking around I located it.

It was a good experience, the gentleman that greeted us at check-in was friendly and accommodating, and the room was as expected. Tidy and no bugs!

Only 1 issue that I don’t even fault the hotel for, but I’d like to make them aware. There was a presidential debate taking place that night, and the guy that was working the front desk when I checked in kept trying to force the lady checking in ahead of me to talk about politics when she clearly did not want to. He made her guess which candidate he supported. After a long pause, she gave in and took a guess, and he was visibly upset when she guessed wrong. Then, when it was my turn to check in, he had some unkind things to say to me about the lady guessing wrong before. This was uninvited and unprofessional, and it should be addressed with staff. Again, I don’t really fault the hotel for this, and the lady that handled my check out the next morning was very kind and courteous. While I was eating breakfast, I witnessed her going out of her way to assist a man with special needs in the lobby. She was great. Overall, great stay at a top notch hotel, and I hope to stay there again sometime very soon!

We stayed for my sons soccer camp. The beds were comfortable but the sofa bed is not. Our shower was not in good repair. The shower always leaked and the handicap accessible seat in shower had some issues. My daughter found trash under the bed when we first arrived.

I've traveled a lot during my life and this was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The King studio was very roomy, had a comfortable bed and full sized sofa, a desk area, a kitchenette and tall top table with two chairs and a large TV that rotated to the bed or sofa. The bathroom had a glass shelf on the wall for toiletries, which is a simple but great idea. There were many other nice touches throughout the room also.

Enjoyed our stay over memorial weekend. Room was clean and met all of our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast staff was a bit taxed over the holiday weekend and had trouble keeping the breakfast bar stocked.

It was clean, everyone was friendly, breakfast was great. It shared a parking lot with another hotel that was apparently hosting a motorcycle club. I was awakened several time by the extremely loud motorcycles. I realize the hotel doesn't have a lot of control over that but it was pretty unpleasant. It was also difficult to figure out where to enter the hotel.

Upon entering the hotel I was quite impressed with the look and feel of the lobby and hallways. Our room was very good size and comfortable. Did not realize until later that evening that it was on a busy road and you could hear all of the traffic all night. Was happy with the stay until I arrived home and received a bill for $14.95 for Wifi? Not sure if I missed this when I was signing up but seems absurd to be charging for Wifi today. Will not be staying again.

This place was awesome, stayed at a Hilton the night before and this place was first class compared to Hilton. For the same price you get a whole lot more value.

Employees were very friendly and attentive! Room was great, breakfast a winner and fun extras when the weather is nice out. Only complaint was the pool room was not monitored well so came in to no towels and trash on a table. Otherwise pool was heated and in great shape.

There was a slight delay getting our room ready, but the manager (Mr. Johnson) was so friendly and helpful it didn’t bother us. The pull out was super uncomfortable, but the king sized bed was amazing! It was quiet, clean, and I highly recommend this hotel.

So my stay was amazing. I had a 2-day business trip and my room was so comfortable with free parking and a lovely breakfast. I love the layout of the room, dining area, kitchen, and workspace. It's only about 10-15 min from downtown. This is my go-to place whenever I'm in Richmond.

Great stay, very clean hotel, breakfast buffet was filling. Enjoyed complimentary cookies and coffee in the evenings. Very close to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, which was enjoyable to visit.

My husband and I have stayed at other locations (across the street) that were HORRENDOUS. Residence Inn Glenside is our home away from home.

Awesome new hotel very clean good breakfast buffet, conveniently located. Short Pump mall 15 minutes drive. Many Restaurants and fast food choices nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Front desk staff very friendly.

The advertised king beds are actually imperial queens and smaller.

Great building night staff not professional. Worried about getting burger for myself and made me wait woth no customers in the lobby. Lobby too packed couldn’t sit down for a meal people used as hangout spot. Menu not appealing for the price. More leaner options should be available

Great hotel! Our room was spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. It, and the rest of the hotel, were very clean and nice. The breakfast that was included in the price was typical in terms of offerings, but everything seemed fresh, was tasty and it was well-stocked. My only complaint is that they need more parking. When we returned to the property around 11:30 p.m., the only remaining parking spots were for EVs, which our vehicle is not. However, when I informed the person at the desk of the situation, he said it was okay for us to park there. So that was a minor glitch in an otherwise very enjoyable stay. We'd definitely stay there again!
