The room smelled like either it had been smoked in or the bedding had been used in a smoking room. It wasn't strong enough to be a problem, just an annoyance. Ended up not having breakfast. Got a cup of coffee and some fruit and went to a nearby restaurant instead. The person that was filling the bread box didn't have gloves on. Another guest pointed it out and it sounded like her response was "I washed them". Completely unacceptable. Some of the apples were badly bruised. The coffee was hot, but seemed to be watered down. Breakfast options were generic fruit rings and frosted flakes, the bread for toast (after watching just about every slice get touched, that was not an option for me), apples, and mandarin oranges. I didn't see any juice or beverage options beyond the coffee or milk.

This hotel was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The cleanliness was non-existent-dirty, stained sheets, foul odors, and a complete lack of hygiene. The room was filthy and poorly maintained, making it impossible to feel comfortable or safe. To make matters worse this disrespectful, distasteful was very unprofessional, and showed complete negligence towards us. Most alarmingly, this same employee threatened my son to a dual outside of the hotel, as if we lived in the 1800's and were going to take 10 steps and battle it out. He frightened us and this was unacceptable and appalling. This experience left us traumatized, and I STRONGLY advise against anyone from staying at the "Red Hood Inn". It is unsafe, disgusting, and poorly managed this place should be closed.

This hotel was so terrible. It has a bad bug no iron no hairdresser no soap in the bathroom very small rooms, metal bed and surprisingly you know telecom like we cannot even connect to reception if you need anything and reception is on other side of the building, the worst experience I ever had, we had booked for two days but we check out in one day. The reception is make us cancel two days and then he did it for one day and we paid there for one day so he canceled the Expedia booking. I guess I don't know. never ever go to this red roof.

The first room I was given was extremely dirty but I felt an urge to shower before requesting a change. The tub was clogged and I didn’t realize so by the time I finished showering the water was up my calf. Disgusting considering the tub was already dirty. The second room they assigned me was better but there were so many cockroaches. Especially at night. Air conditioner had mold. I spent 5 nights there and room service did not come once. I had to catch staff to request toilet paper or towels. The washers and dryers were out of service. Overall a terrible experience.

We had reservations for 2 nights. No where on their website does it say you must be there by 4pm for check in. We arrive later in the night due to driving 4 hours and couldn’t leave until in the evening due to jobs and kids activities for school. Once we arrive we were told our reservation was canceled. We got no phone call about this or anything else. I’ve worked in a motel you can arrive at any time for check in, your reservation is still booked regardless of the time you arrive. They just needed the room because someone was there right then and there so they just gave away our room. So we ended up having to find another place to stay with 2 children so late. We travel ALOT for show choir events and stay at a lot of hotels and often don’t arrive until late however our reservation is still available once we arrive!! This place was just rude and very unprofessional.

It was horrible, one of the bed was disgustingly dirty. The mattress had a huge piss stain as well as the mattress pad and sheet. When I asked for it to be changed I was told I waited too long and it had only been two hours. Then I was told that she was the only one there so nothing can be done because they were booked completely. Mind you this was the owner telling me a patron that I had to sleep in a dirty bed. She then brung me sheets to change it myself which is all I asked for in the first place. The fact that the bed was not properly cleaned prior to my arrival is disturbing. How many people assume they are sleeping on clean beds just because the sheets appear clean. The bathroom door did not close because the latch was stuck in the door. Their customer service is horrible. I was there for a funeral and just simply wanted to rest after traveling six hours but there was no way I was sleeping on a bed like that.

Roaches, roaches and more roaches. The property was filthy. Dog poop stacked outside hair all over the floor like it hasn't been cleaned and roaches everywhere. I let the guy know at the front desk and he tried to move me into two other rooms which both had roaches, I made sure to catch some in napkins for proof but even after seeing the dead roaches he questioned me about roaches being in the third room when it's clearly dead roaches in the tissues. Never go here unless you have no other choice.

Entire lobby smelled of heavy marjauan uses. Needed handicapt room,( which was in the booking) when I checked in they said they had over booked and had not rooms. When they did finally get a handicapt room, it was right by the front desk, which would have been great if it wasn't for the massive gap on the side of the door that looked directly into the main hallway. The door know to the bathroom was broken, floors were dirty. Handicapt parking was conveniented to 10min parking, with the lines still on the pavement, but the signs switched. Overall this Red Roof doesn't match the quantity of other ones and it's room pictures are not representative of the rooms.

First, the bathroom in the room was dirty. It appeared that the floor was swept in a pile, but not swept up, which included a piece of eye lashed and a dead roach. Second, the bathroom was filthy. The microwave, should have been through in the trash. The next day, they bought in a brand new microwave. That let's you know how nasty the microwave was. I know this wasn't the Taj Maj Hall, but clean is clean. I did take pictures and complained to the manager at check out, that the first I saw him. The very inexperienced you boy at the counter had a bad attitude. He worked the counter everyday of my stay. The manager try to excuse his behavior, but that was not justified nor excusable.

I knew this was a lower rated hotel but even if I stay in a cheap hotel the room is usually clean. This was not the case. This room had piles of what I could only hopefully assume was pink and white powdered soap in EVERY corner, against every surface, on the bed, in the bathroom, and around the fridge. I pulled up the layers of sheets to check the mattress and although I didn't see any bedbugs, the mattress was ALL SORTS of stained with brown splotches and cigarette burn holes. There was a woman's razor left in the shower, and I don't normally check the toilet but something was telling me to, so I lifted the lid to the tank and there was a bottle of KY jelly floating in the water. There was also a very weak spot in the floor in front of the window about 10 inches in diameter, as of there was a hole under the flooring. And strangely the front casing and handle to the microwave was missing. The beds had very little give and the pillows were flat. The room did look to be newly updated with new furniture, new TV, new floor and new bathroom fixtures/tile. So that was nice. And breakfast included a waffle maker, a coffee machine, dry cereal (couldn't find any milk), bread for toast and little muffins. So a warm waffle was good for breakfast. I didn't bother telling the man at front desk about the room because I feel like other rooms would be the same quality. I took pictures of everything but it's not letting me upload them here.

It’s an old building that’s been heavily used…banged up fridge (but it kept our food cold), door that scratches the floor and is hard to shut, stains that don’t come out (but it’s been cleaned). It looks rough on the outside and inside, but if you can get past that, it’s a safe, inexpensive place to stay for a night especially if traveling with a pet. The parking lot is well lit so I felt better that our car was safe. Room was clean, although it did smell like it used to be a smoking room. AC worked great. Breakfast wasn’t much, but they had coffee, OJ, toast and cereal. It was enough. I would stay there again if I was on a budget.

The 1st room we checked into had unattached toilet seat and broken sink, we changed to a different room which had sewage water seeping into the room and finally checked into a third room which was just dirty. There is only one staff and he was not helpful nor pleasant through the process.

The outside door wasn't attached & it BANGED everytime one would enter. Our room 212 door was so hard to open at 1 point I couldn't get in. Front Desk young man wouldn't speak up so I could hear even after I told him II'm deaf in 1 ear. Only 3 things to choose at breakfast. Bathroom floor & tub were dirty. Never will I stay there again! Never!

The hotel was extremely dirty and unsafe. I was hoping because of the area we would be fine but I was clearly mistaken. There was blood stains on the walls everywhere. The shower had black specks and hair all over the walls. Even the wash rags were unclean. The headboard looked greasy. I tried my best to disinfect the entire room but was terribly uncomfortable. Many sketchy people were coming in and out of the hotel. Thank goodness I only was staying for one night or else I would have left. I would never come back. I’ve never had so many complaints for one hotel and would never return. Also, I didn’t see any continental breakfast. I would have never eaten anyways since it was just a dirty place with a weird smell.
