Do not let them put you on the 19th floor on a weekend. The pounding music from the nightclub upstairs will keep you awake and the hotel staff report they can do nothing about it. Also, there are no security measures in the hotel or garage.

Location, ease of check in, access to parking garage, free breakfast. First room they gave us smelled of smoke, so Jacob at the front desk graciously moved us to another room which ended up being a larger space! While the room size was great, there were stains on the carpet, not enough lighting for the room size, and they short-sheeted one of the beds. The bathroom was large but no ventilation, and no towel bars to hang used ones. If we're to be more mindful of the environment and not request fresh towels daily, there should be towel bars to hang them to dry. Also, the luggage carts were a bad design and they only had 2 for the entire hotel.

Did not eat breakfast but Hampton Inn usually has a nice one. Crew at desk were trying to be helpful. Hampton Inn beds are great. Hard to find entrance. Room had NO usb ports or connections for devices......hadn't been in room like this in maybe a decade. The tv remote would not work. Told staff and they came to room (left tv on so we would know) and I am sure put in battery. When we got back to room, the remote was crappy and we gave up and went to bed.

Parking garage was great. seeing as it was in the city and knowing there is no need to look for parking outside the hotel. Only one desk staff, who seemed overwhelmed with no extra help. Also from my constant going in and out of the hotel, it seems as if the person had no break for at least 7 hours straight. Which I figured contributed to me not being informed that I would have to keep my keycard when checking out, to get out of the garage. Communication is essential to smooth running of a business. I had to return to an empty, unmanned desk and retrieve my keycard, which I had left there for someone to take care of. Unmanned desk=no information given. Terrible scenario.

Will probably try a different motel next time we come for this yearly event.

Shampoo dispenser was completely empty; so I asked the front desk to refill it. Came back to the room and had new towels but still no shampoo. Plus shower was barely warm; not frigid or anything but at full heat it barely could be called luke warm. Smoke detector near next to the bed was another interference with good sleep. Extremely bright green led light that lit up the room like a child’s night light. Luckily it was mounted so low that I was able to move an ottoman in the room in front of it and position my suitcase in such a way as to obscure the light.

We arrived at 4:00 and was informed that our room was not ready. Check in time is 3:00. The desk clerk told us it would be 10-15 minutes. We parked the car in the garage and returned to the same. We were given a comporable room. When we arrived in the room the temperature was very warm and the thermostat had a fault code and was not functioning. A call to the desk informed maintenance. No reply and no working thermostat. 30 minutes later another call to the desk clerk and we were informed that the problem was in the roof unit. The thermostat was reset and was working. We left for the evening. Upon arriving back to the room a few hours later we found ourselves in the same situation. We made more calls to the desk clerk and maintenamce reset the roof switch again (I assume). Fast forward to midnight. Awoke to an overly warm room with no air circulation. Multiple calls to the desk want unanswered. We were on our own for the duration of our stay in the room. I spoke with the clerk on duty in the AM and she was aware of our situation but did not provide us an explation. Maybe our room wasnt ready beacuse none of the rooms on that floor had working thermostats.

Such a nice hotel with a great location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, I gave it a 3-star rating because around 10 p.m. I realized the heater in my room wasn’t working. With the cold temperatures, I didn’t sleep at all that night. I would have gone down to the lobby, but I was already in pajamas and not presentable. I did let the front desk know about the issue when I checked out, and the staff member noted it. It’s a shame, because otherwise the stay would have been much better.

Our rooms on the other hand, weren't that great. We booked our stay with joined rooms, as we were there with a team for an event at the Convention Center. We were on the same floor, but at opposite sides of the floor. The cabinet that held the mini fridge, the cabinet door was falling off. There was severe water damage to the base of the cabinet from the fridge leaking for a long time. It was still leaking on our items, thankfully covered, as we used it. During our 4 night stay, one room was half serviced, took our trash and towels. While the other room was never touched. But, the biggest thing was that our AC unit broke down and was never fixed. It worked for the first night, but died by morning. We had gone to the front desk twice a day, once when we left for our event and once when we came back. Each time, the employee had no idea we were having problems. As for customer service, i truly felt bad for the front desk. They did try to contact maintenance to check our unit. They offered many discounts. And even offered to move us to another room, not joined, but couldn't guarantee that it would be any better. Over all, we did not enjoy our stay. The AC unit being the worst. As it made it very uncomfortable and we did not get any sleep or rest, hindering our performance at our event.

Our room was clean however incredibly dusty. The vent above the bed covered in dust the wall acroos from it, the lamp shades, the drapes by the bed. HILTON, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT CLEAN ROOMS EXCEPT WHEN REQUESTED! Stating you only respond to housekeeping requests unless you stay 5 nights is absurd. Hilton, a brand with billions of dollars is now cutting corners with cleaning and simply not making jobs available for communities in which you make money…shame on Hilton for this ridiculous change in CLEANING.

After decades of staying at Hilton properties, this Hampton In was THE WORST. Rude, unfriendly check-in staff (""NO - the parking fee not included. Expedia lied to you"") Street noise, sirens and ambulance noise was loud & intrusive on the 15th floor(!!), even though I asked for a quiet location. One of the blackout curtain chains was broken, so light & street noise came in at all hours of the day & night. The person who brought fresh towels & TP was not wearing hotel ID of **ANY** kind and I was very uncomfortable opening the door to him. There was NO decaf coffee at breakfast which was really pathetic. 2 staff members "hiding" in the coffee area to take a break. It was a TOTAL MESS there. The worst Hilton we've ever experienced - E V E R.

The staff and the room were great. However the problems we had were with the other guests and non guests . One family on our floor had lots of kids . They let them RUN around the halls screaming and getting glitter everywhere for hours. Finally a little after midnight I followed the trail of glitter to their room and asked them to please quit yelling and running.. after some attitude the mom made them quite down . I saw them again the next morning and all the kids were still coated in glitter leaving trails in the elevators and lobby . The other problem was that the rooftop bar has changed hours ( and names) and the information in our email from the hotel was incorrect.. also when we did go up there for a drink around 9 they told us they were full and there were no tables for two and we could order at the bar and seat ourself along the wall.ok that's fine...However it took a while to get the bartenders to help us and once we finally got our drinks there was no where to sit with them. Then later we saw most of the people that had been taking up most of the space and tables at the bar leaving the hotel for the night. They weren't even guests of the hotel. You should have space for your guests not the public.

Room was nice property needs work and couldn’t even check in at Hampton Inn. Had to go to the hotel next-door around the corner because there was no one at the desk at first we said OK. Things happen. Staffing is hard but then in the middle of the night, no one was there. And then again this morning during breakfast there was no one there. This is a nice facility but ran very poorly would not come back or recommend to a friend.

Everything was fine until early the next morning when the carbon monoxide detector went off. Multiple calls to the front desk went unanswered. We went to the desk in person to see if there was an emergency, but no one was present and phones were ringing off the hook. We wound up having to flee as we didn't know if it was safe to stay. Hard to recommend this hotel for that reason.

Other than miscommunication for checking in early everything was fine. The front desk person told me to call morning of reservation and ask for check-in early status it was based on availability. So I called at 10:30 am and the front desk person advised my room was in cleaning status and would be ready for early check-in in about 1 hour. We had to be in line by 3pm for an event so I wanted to check in by 1pm but we held off and did 2 pm check-in still early but not that early. We got to hotel and the front desk person said room isn't ready and he wouldn't be able to give us a timeframe but could be another hour. I told him the front desk person this morning said it'd was already in clean status and would be ready by 12 and now it being 2pm I'm confused. Front desk person stated he's the only one that's been at the front desk all morning and he would never say that and it's based on availability but then he checked the system again and now our room is ready now. So we got to check in early but there was a little back and forth confusion. Parking is easy scan hotel key and let's you park in the garage conveniently for a $25 fee each day. Great location tons of restaurants in the area and easy walk to the amphitheater.

The building was hard to find and there were two separate lobbies with minimal staff, so it made check-in confusing. The elevators were run by a system similar to an iPad and it didn’t relay when some floors were out of order. It made parking an ordeal. First of all, they offer parking but it’s $25 to park overnight, which was not disclosed while booking second the lobby is closed most of the time…we arrived at night and it was closed. We had to find our way through a different way and use their neighboring hotel to check in. Thirdly, the sofa bed did not have bedding in the room. The room was reserved to sleep six which meant we required the use of the sofa bed. we were told to try the other neighboring hotel again for extra pillows and blankets, but they told us they should be in the closet which they were not so there were no pillows or blankets for the sofa. My kids had no pillows or blankets that night. The breakfast was also old, barely warm and pretty gross but not unexpected in a continental breakfast type situation. Elevators were very difficult to use. They were completely digital and you could not access or alter the floors from inside the elevator very confusing and very weird. Overall, the property was clean enough. The biggest complaint was that there was not any bedding for the sofa bed, which is a huge problem when we needed that bedding for our kids.

It was great having the room. The only downside was that the ac unit made a noise that I hardly slept one night and that I was given the offer to get a new room but a downgrade or have a fan and I chose to have a fan because I didn’t want to go through all the trouble of moving everything over. And thankfully I was given a discount and reimburse of about $200. And also parking garage is just about difficult to try to find and park and I feel it’ll be an issue down the road and I had minor scratch on the roof of my vehicle at the top floor which I believe should be fixable

Upon checking in, there was a lack of communication from the staff. The attendant did not greet me or ask for my name; instead, he took my ID without saying anything, which took me by surprise as i was not expecting that. He was on his cell phone throughout the process. This lack of attention set a negative tone for my stay. Furthermore, when we arrived at our room, it was not the room I had booked. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, as there was hair on the counter, and there was no soap provided. I was informed that nothing could be done to rectify the situation since the hotel was sold out, which left me very disappointed. Given the amount I paid, which was $250.00, I expected a much higher standard of service and cleanliness. This experience has assured me that I will not return to the Hampton Inn in the future, especially after planning a surprise birthday stay. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I hope you can address these issues to improve future guests' experiences.

#2 Room had very little lighting. That was made worse by a faulty table lamp on desk. Front desk sent someone up to fix or replace it. Took it out of the room and never returned. My grandson and I had to get dressed for a General Assembly visit in front of the door where we had enough light to see what we were doing #3 Coffee. Maids had left only decaf coffee with the coffeer maker. Picked up some regular coffee at front desk but it made little difference because the in room coffee maker did not work. Next morning, no coffee in the breakfast area. One poor employee appeared to be responsible for all breakfast service. She said the coffee machine was broke and she had to go "upstairs" to get brewed coffee. It was great to see it when it arrived. Unfortunately no cups to hold it. #4 In room clock could not be set. Why Hampton Inns even includes them is beyond me. #5 There were two bottles of conditioner in the bathroom but unfortunately no body wash. There is just something out of sync about this entire place. No personality at front desk (when someone is available). This is just too much money for so little attention.

There were some sort of fluid stains all over the bathroom walls. During the middle of the night some sort of alarm went off in the room and disrupted everyone's sleep. I was drunk and trying to figure out what the hell was going on if we needed to evacuate the hotel. Why in the world would they have an alarm that is in the room that randomly goes off in the middle of the night that isn't consequential? The front desk lady just told me to turn it off and go back to bed, also the shower mixing valve is plumbed backwards and you have to turn the water almost all the way off to get hot water.

My stay was fine, but in the 1st night, we were on the 19th floor and kept hearing the elevator all night making it difficult to sleep. We planned to leave the next day so we checked out. Due to unforseen circumstances, we ended up staying a second night. This time, we were on the 14th floor and the room was gorgeous.
