    I was very offended and unimpressed that one of the front desk staff members accused my son of stealing from the little supermarket. He was in there looking around for a snack and I asked him to tell me if there was anything he wanted and then to come ask me for the money. I was upstairs in the room. The staff member asked him to lift up his shirt and empty his pockets and he said why, and she said that she saw him put something in there. His pockets were empty and he had not put anything in there. My son is only 13 years old and I think it is completely inappropriate to ask him to lift up his shirt to prove he has not stolen! The right thing to do would’ve been to ask him to please leave or get his parent.

    I've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot in Short Pump several times. The location is excellent. It's close to good shopping, nice restaurants and most important my mom's assisted living facility. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the rooms are very comfortable. It's a great stay particularly for what they charge.

    Pretty good. This is the first place I've stayed where you had to charge your breakfast to your room. No cash. This was somewhat confusing. Compounding the problem was that there was only one person working the bar where you had to order. This person had to explain the charge-to-the room requirement...and prepared the food. Mattress was lumpy.

    There are still renovations underway but they didn’t seem to interfere with customers. They have started charging $5/night to park in the open parking lot which is completely absurd. The bed was too firm for my liking.

    The stay was just okay. The staff was very kind. The handicapped room was clean. The shower was terrible. There was very little water pressure and the shower did not drain properly so water went all over the floor making it very dangerous for someone with mobility issues. The television did.not work.

    I was putting in a room where the heating system was broken, had to pack up everything and move to another room, which is not easy for me since I am 65 years old and disabled. But the worst thing is, I got a hamburger from their bistro, it was the only thing I ate all day. Definitely got food poisoning! Was sick all night! The person that actually served me the burger was not very friendly, I am sorry that I even tipped her. But of course, the worst thing was being sick!

    Stayed for one night while passing through. Stayed here in 2023 & loved It, however this time around was a completely different experience. I checked in late at night and was leaving early the next day, but I couldn’t sleep. The mattress was terrible. The room and bathroom were extremely outdated and had a broken tub, dirty carpets. The room had a smoke smell. The AC was barely working. Definitely wouldn’t stay here a third time.

    First time i was disappointed with a Marriott hotel, I've stayed at several other Marriott's and this was first time I was charged to park my car in the parking areas of the hotel, and told they were adding $20 on my card, that would be retuned at end of stay. The beds are also very hard, i did not get a very good nights sleep.

    Nice property very clean. Main entrance was under construction and closed. Inadequate signage to direct you where to go to check in when arriving. Needs to be more pronounced with a large (lit up) enter here sign at night. Other than that a very pleasant stay.

    Our first night, we noticed the bedsheets had multiple stains. The water pressure from the shower was very low. However the staff were very polite and helpful. Another issue we had, was the confusion around the parking. When I first placed the booking over the phone, I was informed that parking was free, but when we got to the hotel they told us parking is $5 per night. There should be more clear information on the website as to whether parking is free or not.

    I very much enjoyed my stay, even though it was quite brief. I was welcomed warmly, my room was clean and comfortable, and i enjoyed being able to get a glass of wine before heading out for the evening. I appreciate it.     The stall shower was ridiculously made; one door doesn’t open at all; other is narrow plus shower stall dirty. The pillows and mattress awfully soft. Marriott Courtyard doesn’t give u fresh towels until your 5th day! Truly unacceptable for a high end courtyard. Would not recommend.

    Had the unexpected rude interaction with the floor manager been normal oppose to aggressively belligerent i would have given 4 stars. Everyone was nice and acoomadating there. I asked one simple question for clarification and maybe she was having a bad day but she went into a ghetto unprofessional rant til i still calmly explained i was a gold member and began recording then she understood my simple question and became sooo nice. Never experienced that ay any Marriot or other hotel for that matter. Especially since it wasn't a question that even warrented any sort of offense to be taken...🤔

    Requested front desk to get towels and after 1.5hrs had to go to front desk requesting a set of towels and got to hear a lame excuse they got the wrong room. I thought when you can front desk they can see which room you are calling from - funny. There was no mention on the website that Pools are getting renovated. You pay the premium amount for the room to find out the basic amenities like pool - fitness center was so small that only 3-4 people can work out at any time. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Unbeknownst to us this hotel was under renovation. Floors in the room still had grout residue, new toilet had a leak and water all over and shower area floor was dirty. The refrigerator was missing. The parking was very limited as all the old furniture and new furniture took up many parking spaces. After seeing conditions of the room i informed the 2 people at the front desk Sat morning at 615am, they apologized and said they would take care of everything, low and behold when i returned Sat night everything was the same. I was disgusted!!! Sat night returned to the hotel, exhausted and couldnt find a parking spot. I was never informed that parking was going to be an issue and how i should handle it I will never stay at a courtyard by Marriott again. Ive never been so disappointed by a hotel, like i was this past weekend. Oh another thing, the elevator was rattling like crazy and the staff knew. No signs, no communication just poor management all around. I do have pictures. If anyone would like to follow up.

    We requested two rooms for our recent stay. We had asked for adjoining rooms. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate us, but gave of rooms that were close. The worst part is that they gave us one room that was already occupied. When we finally got everything corrected, we found that one of the rooms had a slow draining sink and the other had a stopped up toilet. It gets better...they didn't have anyone that could come up and fix the toilet. They finally found a plunger, but they handed it to me to have me un-stop the toilet myself, saying they didn't have an engineer to do it.

    The staff was nice. I was disappointed in the room because the carpet was very worn and stained, the water pressure was weak, and the air conditioner didn't stay on at night so i didn't sleep well. Plus, it was noisy with guests coming and going to other rooms.

    They were doing renovation on the side of the hotel I stayed in the noise level was terrible I couldn't get any rest on Saturday because they started early on Saturday morning.They should have just closed that side of the hotel down for a while . Banging a lift was in front of my window in which was taken old debree from the floor above my room so I couldn't open the curtains because someone was going to be able to look into my room. So I went to the front desk and asked if they could move me to another room in which they said nothing was available. I'm like really so for my 2 day's I stayed I had to deal with the noise. 😡

I’m not sure if these are franchised but the owner here is obviously greedy and I won’t be staying there again.

    I enjoyed my stay at this location. The room was clean and it was a very calming experience. The breakfast menu was okay if you eat pork. I wish i would have known before booking because the breakfast menu is very limited. I wound up just opting for the juice and water instead of wasting my money. The staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate but were limited as to what they could offer. If i could just suggest that hotel edit the breakfast menu to include non pork options such as turkey bacon/sausage for the guests that don't eat pork. The room also did not have a microwave in it and only after bringing it to management's attention, was one then provided. The ice machine also didnt work on the 2nd floor. Besides that, my stay was cool.

    This hotel advertises that it is “Pet Friendly” and then they bury the pet NONREFUNDABLE fee so far down in the small print, it is extremely hard to find. The fee is Absolutely ridiculous. So actually, it is a fee to discourage pet owners from bringing them. Beware of this scam!!!

    This location is always clean and the staff is usually kind, knowledgeable and helpful. When I booked my room the included breakfast didn't appear on my reservation at the hotel, so I showed the concierge my email containing the information where I had booked and was able to eat breakfast at no additional cost. For all my coffee fans this location has a limited Starbucks selection. Room was clean and the essentials are in the room. Ambiance is a great place for couples.

    I have a few questions for front desk AM to make sure check in information correct from hotels.com and concerns cc hold w it being holiday weekend. On your web site didn’t see option for AAA or AARP discount. Once hotel couldn’t find my Marriott ID number to apply points for stay.     Dirty carpet, worn out, furniture, broken television, pool was closed, bed squeaked and was terrible. Bad, caulking, and repair job in the bathroom. A total disappointment for the price we paid.

    The place seems to be held together with duct tape. I know these bare boned hotels are not intended to host kings and presidents but - c’mon. The so-called hairdryer literally fell apart in my hand after starting to smoke. The bath spigot and shower lever and so poorly installed they wiggle back and forth upon engagement. The shower to tub latch would not disengage. The bed creaked like a haunted house. There was a sliding glass door to a patio but that was corroded shut. All that said the appearance is fine and I basically just wanted a roof over my head. Area is corporate-park safe.

    Nice property, room could have been dusted better. The fan in the bathroom was very dusty and needs cleaning badly. Staff was exceptionally welcoming and kind!
