- 5/5
Very clean, spacious room. Very comfortable.

BREAKFAST WAS PRETTY FRESH, CLEAN AND WELL PRESENTED. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WELL PROVIDED. THE STAFF, SPECIFICALLY DEBORAH, WAS EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING, ASSISTING WITH A SCHEDULE MIXUP WITH HOTELS.COM.

Breakfast

We were able to park right outside our window, and the parking lot is well lit. Breakfast was okay but seemed just a step behind the usual Hampton Inn breakfasts. Some grated cheese next to the watery scrambled eggs would be a big help. As a plus, the oranges were super sweet and juicy. I have to stress the fragrance is not helpful. I noticed it as I waited to check in and it actually burned my nose but hoped it was just used in the lobby. Unfortunately, I did not get much sleep because I could smell it all night in our own room far from the lobby. I realize that not everyone is as bothered by scents as I am, not everyone has physical reactions but for those who do I needed to make this review. Unfortunately, even though we will stop at this exit again, mainly because of a restaurant that we really liked, I will need to find a different hotel. Covering up other offensive odors with a perfume is not working.
- 3/5
No elevators…disappointed we didn’t get a credit for walking up stairs with bags
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Close to the Local on 17 Breakfast.quality had gone down in all hsmptons
- 4/5
Our fridge was not working at all - Kris (front desk person) tried to be very helpful, but we ended up putting our stuff in the fridge with several bags of ice inside! The AM front desk person said it was probably turned down low but there was no way to turn it up inside or outside the fridge!
- 5/5
Great place! Staff pleasant and helpful! Clean modern Hotel.
- 4/5
staff good a/c a little loud

The breakfast was great. The attendant was constantly busy cleaning things. She was also in the kitchen cleaning the stainless steel. She was very friendly. The toilet seat was loose and the refrigerator didn’t work. I reported the refrigerator but told David not to worry about it.
- 3/5
Working on remodeling out front at the entrance.
- 4/5
Clean.
- 4/5
Convenient stop over for trip south
- 3/5
Upon arrival, we found out the elevator was in service. Staff indicated that we should informed by Expedia this did not happen. My wife is currently walking with a cane and taking the stairs up to the second floor was very hard for her. The room and staff met all other service standards.
- 2/5
They were not able to give me the room that I paid for. Paid for King size bed I was given 2 Queen size beds. Also computers were down so could not give us room cards. Someone had to stay in room at all or we would have been locked out of our room.
- 4/5
Room and staff were fine, however the elevators were broken.
- 1/5
Room was very outdated. Shower leaked all over the floor & soaked all my clothes. I reported this to the front desk at checkout...have not heard anything
- 5/5
All staff were courteous and helpful
- 4/5
Good location The bed was making a lot of noise like the frame may have been compromised. The hot water and coffee was lukewarm. The eggs were runny and not hot.
- 5/5
All of the things you mentioned above were true for our visit to the Hampton Inn.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Easy and fast check-in, clean and spacious room
- 4/5
We have stayed at this location multiple times. We found that the bathroom area definitely needs maintenance. Cracked caulking around the sink and bathroom
- 4/5
Employees that cleaned the rooms and in the breakfast area were exceptional. They were courteous, very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Only real disadvantage, was that there was no television service. I was informed upon arrival that there was no tv or telephone service. Also, that the pool had been treated, so it was not available. I was given the choice to cancel my reservation (and my credit card deposit would be returned) and go to somewhere else. Since I had been driving straight from Northern Virginia and in my way to southern Florida, I did not want to try to look and book at another hotel.
- 2.5/5
Not enough tables for the amount of people trying to eat Breakfast was disappointing. I hate using community milk! It was in a pitcher that everyone poured out of. Milk was room temperature at best! No variety of yogurt flavors and they were also room temperature. Not safe to eat in my opinion! Milk should have been in individual cartons in a refrigerator and so should the yogurt been in a refrigerator not in a bowl with some ice below it! Package eggs were runny and sausage was just warm. Very disappointing! Room had a big gap under door and around the door frame. The lights from the hall were shining in so the room was too lit to sleep. This also made it very noisy! I could block the light with a towel shoved on the floor for the bottom part but there was no way to block the light coming in from around the whole door frame! Mattress was lumpy and sunk in from where people had layed.
- 4/5
Not long enough. I missed breakfast because it was over at 9am. The property was comfortable but it is dated.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Quiet and clean…

Roach in the bathroom
- 4.5/5
The breakfast was good. Always enjoy the waffles and some fruit. There was a wide variety to please everyone. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the checkin desk who recommended “The Local on 17” restaurant years ago. That is truly why we make our stop at exit 87 in Richmond Hill on our way south every year. I can’t really think of anything.

Everything was just fine
- 5/5
Lovely gal Ashley at check in… clean comfortable room
- 4.5/5
Cleanliness of room and friendliness of staff. One of the beds was lumpy.
- 1/5
My room had BLOOD on the sheets. It was towards the foot of the bed so I didn’t notice until the next morning (no my foot was not bleeding) then I notice the carpet and the desk have red stains on them. Zero people to be seen at the front desk and the women who were working in the breakfast area had an attitude so I left and called to complain. Have photos. Was told I didn’t complain in person so I’m screwed. This place does not clean its rooms. Gross.
- 5/5
Spacious .nicely appointed furnishings
- 5/5
Parking was safe and plenty. It was a quiet hotel.
- 5/5
Very good stay
- 5/5
We stay here every year coming and going from florida. The property maintains a high quality while the surrounding City keeps getting busier and more crowded year after year
- 3.5/5

- 5/5
clean room, excellent staff, great place to stay and to top it off with a great breakfast.
- 5/5
The room and staff were all nice.
- 5/5
The front desk was very upbeat and friendly.
- 2/5
Breakfast was terrible. By 8:30 they had no bacon and the omelet was filled with stuff not too appealing. Staff said sorry but they weren't sent enough food products.
- 5/5
We loved the location. It was perfect for a first day destination on the way to Highlands, NC the next day. We did not go into Savannah, but it was doable. Instead we ate at a restaurant on the river called Fish Tales. It had great food and was a fun place for local fare. Really it was perfect for our needs
- 4.5/5
Extra charge at check in for amenities
- 5/5
We stayed in room 203. The curtain only went 3/4 of the way. The sheer curtain did not block the two huge parking lot lights from shining directly into our eyes in the bed closest to door. That person was blinded all night. Curtains needed to go all the way
- 4/5
Good option
- 3/5
Staff was very courteous. However the bathroom smelled like sewage, and the shower surround had several serious cracks in it. It was very upsetting to use this bathroom..the rest of the room was fine
- 3/5
Pet fee was $75 a night. That’s rather high.
- 4/5
Long walk for handicapped person.
- 5/5
Very quiet and comfortable!
- 5/5
Very equipped and clean. Staff was friendly and professional.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
everything was just fine staff were nice handicap parking available but should have a couple more spots available room was clean
- 2/5
Room cooling system and bathroom vent fan extremely noisy. Toilet didn’t flush.
- 5/5
Easy
- 1/5
I was charged a $75 pet fee after I had booked and paid in full. The toilet is so low that it is below my knee. Not usable for someone with back issues. If I could have cancelled when charged the pet fee, I would have.

This is the first Hampton in that we have stayed in that if they run out of something for the breakfast; that there were not accommodations made. For two days there we had no juice or water for breakfast. No apologies from staff for the inconvenience. They changed their rules for breakfast and posted it on small signs to 6-9. We were eating and it was 9:07; and a couple came down to eat. So they were getting things in the kitchen and Kelly fussed at Lisa in our presence. (service person by front desk person)Very unprofessional, the couple were going off the Hampton Weekend breakfast hours. Lisa was just trying to accommodate. The day before when we came for breakfast; a couple was locked out of their room for over 2 hours. My interaction with Kelly asking for a juice; she was not pleasant. They don't handle things with 100% satisfaction as their sign they display in the lobby that I have a picture of; that is a false. Would not recommend.
- 4/5
Property is aging . Everything ok but have stayed twice over several months . First time elevator was under repair and the second the pool was closed for cleaning. Breakfast is lackluster. Our stay the first time had cut sausage and scrambled eggs and the second was the same. The sausage cut in pieces seems to be a cheap way out
- 2/5
Seasonal flowers were dead. The pool area was a major reason we stayed there and the pool was unusable. The day we did use it, it was green and dirty. The chairs were broken and pool equipment to clean the pool with was broken.
- 4/5
Everything is great. Property is close to Savannah, but much less expensive than staying in town—and is conveniently close to I-95. The front desk receptionist, David, was kind enough to arrange for me to have late checkout. Just wish my room’s refrigerator had a freezer compartment…then it would be perfect!
- 3/5
Pros- check in was easy and quick. Staff was very polite. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The price was good. It is true. You get what you pay for. Was it horrible? No. Would I stay here again? No.
- 1/5
Our reservation was cancelled. It all started when I asked if we could check in early. The attendant (female) said no we couldn’t only at 3 pm but to come back at 2:30 when she would be able to. We returned at 2:30 pm and she rudely said No not until 3 I said well you told me to come back at 230 and again she rudely said No only at 3 can we get you in. At that point we needed to take care of some other business. When we returned at 730 pm a different person (supervisor) said that we didn’t have a reservation. I showed them my confirmation (that the previous attendant had confirmed) and he said that mine was not a legitimate confirmation #. At that point we are now in Savannah with no hotel as this hotel apparently was sold out. Thank God I was able to get a room at the Best Western Premiere in Poole. A much nicer and friendlier place. I will NEVER again make a reservation at a Hampton Inn
- 5/5
I’ll be back!
- 5/5
Quaint and clean.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
We booked this hotel last minute to help break up our long drive bac to Florida. The hotel was right off I-95 and check-in was quick and easy. Our King studio room was perfect, included a desk and chase lounge, was clean and soaps and shampoos were great quality. The breakfast was hot and well made, including sausage and eggs, with waffle stations, fruit, yogurt, and bread options. The dining area was comfortable and modern. There was a small pool--we didn't use it but the area was clean and well-maintained. We also choose this hotel because it had a charging station and was pet friendly. We were able to charge our rental car overnight, at no cost! Because it's located on the highway, the surroundings aren't pretty or scenic, but it was exactly what we needed for one night. I would recommend it for sure.
- 5/5
Clean and quick check-in, no complaints
- 3/5
Overall ok not worth the money boxspring and mattress needed changed was given a handicap room the tub was too narrow to stand up and take a shower without being awkward- the hotel needs an remodel but is consistent with the area it is located in
- 4/5
Hermoso todo
- 5/5
Comfy beds
- 1/5
Light from the swimming pool was on all night. Curtain wood not close to keep out the light. I could go on but in general worse Hampton we ever stayed. Never again at this location
- 5/5
Great Stay! Service was nice and helpful
- 5/5
Great!!!!
- 5/5
Nice facility
- 5/5
Parking lot is being repaved and it made it tough to park a vehicle with a trailer. But, rooms are clean and Staff is very nice.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Our room was on 2nd floor but the elevator to 2nd button was broken. We had to take stairs with our luggages when we arrived at 1am. Our room bathroom was not clean with a handicap chair in the shower when we didn’t request for this type of room.
- 4/5
My stay was decent, but for the price i expected more. My room seem like it wasnt deep cleaned.
- 5/5
Pleasant and very affordable... We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
The only thing I didn’t like was that their gym was out of service.
- 5/5
Convenient for our one night stop and a very nice breakfast
- 4/5
I would have given excellent across the board BUT...I checked in after 2:00 AM and asked how late a check out I could have. I was told my check out could be extended from 11:00 AM to Noon; nevertheless, despite a "Do not Disturb" on the door, housekeeping started knocking on the door at 10:15.
- 5/5
We have always liked these hotels. They are clean and we appreciate the delicious breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best places we have stayed.
- 5/5
Reserved room in ice storm. Easy to get to.
- 3/5
Outdated
- 5/5
Best breakfast ever with red velvet waffles. We felt very welcomed even with small children. One curtain was missing but we v didn't have time to ask about it.
- 3/5
Easy to find and clean
- 5/5
Zoltar, the desk clerk was outstanding! He went out of his way to call and advise us that the elevator was broken and gave us a room on the first floor so my wife didn’t have to use the stairs which would’ve been very difficult for her. He is a 5 star employee.
- 4/5
Elevator broken I use a Cain n had second floor room
- 4/5
Great value, nice guy at the front desk, definitely clean…the only thing I thought was a little over the top was $75 per fee. But nitpicking I guess. I thought more like $35 I normal
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Been staying her for the last 5 yrs. On our way to Florida
- 5/5
Very close to the Interstate and convenient to restaurants. Unfortunately, were there right about Hurricane Helene came through, and no restaurants were open, but that's ok.

- 5/5
Nice stay no complaints on my end
- 5/5
Close to the highway
- 4/5
The front office staff were great.
- 3/5
This is a nice place. The staff is friendly which is a plus. The only downside is there were fleas in the room, the shower head was not user friendly, and there was a hole at the top of the shower where the ring fell off. At $200 a night I would want just a bit better.
- 1/5
They told me that I did not have reservation. Do not know what happened, I want a complete refund.
- 3/5
Pillows awful, clean, no backup for guests in severe weather. Didnt even offer waTer or muffins until nearly 9am
- 5/5
Clean hotel in a weird part of town outside of Savannah. Think fast food and gas stations. But the hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, I would stay here again if just passing through town.
- 5/5
Friendly employees. Quick and easy check in/check out. Good breakfast.
- 3/5
Other hotels we have been in have had a lounge area away from the main tables where we could sit and have breakfast away from other diners.
- 2/5
We stayed here one night as a halfway point in our out of state move. The furniture does not provide any protection against hiding cats. 😂 Also, the bed is hard as a rock. When I went to go take a shower the next morning, they have the shampoo, conditioner and body soap adhered to the shower wall, but there was no shampoo at all. The check in was ok, but the ‘Supervisor’ was rude to my husband when he asked a couple of questions. (About cost of water etc).
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
I was extremely pleased with my room, very clean and the decor was awesome had a cozy feeling to it.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean.
- 4/5
One of the two light bulbs in the bathroom wasn't working, and we found the tub to be very narrow. Had we been staying for more than one night I would have had the non working light bulb replaced. Breakfast was more than adequate and not only was the coffee hot, but to my delight there were also English tea bags! I think Hampton Inn is a cut above the other similar budget hotels.
- 5/5
Thank you it was great
- 5/5
Outstanding we will be back
- 5/5
Probably the most pleasant welcome i have experienced at a Hampton or other stay. Efficient, welcoming and helpful!
- 2/5
Very frustrating to learn of the additional required pet fee upon check-in when it was not outlined in my online reservation (in which I had prepaid in full to hold the reservation). I had to pay an additional $75 on top of the nightly rate for my dog, and we were there all of 12 hours in total. Very frustrating.
- 3/5
Pillows were very uncomfortable. Pass cards had to be reprogrammed every day. Bed was uncomfortable and breakfast was ok. We are a Hilton honors member but will not stay at that location again.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but the rug was still damped - recently shampooed!
- 4/5
Clean place. Further from Savannah than we prefer. Nothing is going on this town no restaurants except Grain & Grits
- 5/5
Staff extremely helpful after a long trip.
- 5/5
Close to highway
- 5/5
The staff is always magnificent and the property is always clean and well kept.
- 1/5
Unexpected high pet fee
- 5/5
one night stay, sleep and go
- 5/5
The rooms are rundown and need to be updated. Bathrooms are in rough shape - peeling wallpaper dirty grout etc. poor quality bedding. Hinges loose on furniture etc. just a very basic place. Not what we expect from Hampton Inn.
- 5/5
