Days Inn by Wyndham Richmond Hill/Savannah

The beds were smaller than queen size. We had to get an inflatable bed for the 3rd person (Total: 1 adult and 2 teenagers). The room was somewhat clean, sheets and beds were clean but had cigarettes burns on the comforter, Floors were sticky. We had 5 roaches over a 4 day stay. Beds were comfortable. No room cleaning unless you ask for it. AC worked well. Easy and lots of parking spaces. Pool was clean and nice, smaller than the picture shows. Breakfast is included but there is barely anything. Juice machine was broken our entire stay. We had bananas on day 3 and 4. 2 choices of cereals, waffles, toast and muffins. Coffee, tea and milk. Breakfast was 6 to 9am. At 8am there was barely nothing left besides waffles, cereal and coffee. Breakfast area has 5 tables, very sticky floors everyday and empty tables dirty. There is a Dennys open 24/7 next door, mostly everyone ended up eating there. Overall, quite disappointed but for as cheap as it was, can’t expect much more.

The place was filthy. The tub was discolored. There were dead bugs and garbage behind the bathroom door. Bed sheets were stained and worn. Bathroom sink was dirty with hair from shaving still in the sink. The price was low, I understand. But I oversaw maintenance in a 300 room hotel in Cincinnati, and the things I saw in this room was just neglect and no effort. If I was in a hurry because of traveling, or I would have demanded a refund. There were people outside our room until 2am partying and being loud. If this is what you offer, I will never use your service again. I really feel I should be refunded for this stay, it was intolerable and I got very little sleep. I have many friends who use your service, they will be notified of this ridiculous situation I was put in

This place was disgusting. There were so may gross stains on our walls and bathroom. Floor was so dirty, walked around for like two minutes after arriving an all of us had black feet. Comforter had tons of little black stains. We were desperate so we stayed that first night but only slept for 3 hours on the most uncomfortable beds before getting up for an event. We didn’t even come back for our second night because we were so disgusted- even our toddler kept saying”no hotel”

Rooms were old. Everything worked in the room and bathroom. Bathroom fixtures were old and loose. Outdoor lighting and in the stairwell is very weak. The room was mostly clean. Overall simple hotel that has been in use for awhile. Time for a renovation. Some rooms had bugs.

Completely disgusting honestly thats NOT A 6 ?!?! I dont even know its listed as a hotel and not a MOTEL. Checkin was very long even tho it was late at night when we arrived… they make first mistake of giving me a toom with someone in it?!? Like WHAT!! Second one was empty thank god.. but dirty!!! Like the curtains were full of thick dust or something else… for sure mold because i was sneezing non stop. Bathroom disgusting i wouldnt have stepped a foot in the tub even for a shower and the toilet bowl hasnt been cleaned prior.. private hair on the seat and traces in the bowl… 100% do not recommend!!! At least i got a refund

The whole property looks nothing like the photos! House keeping isn’t a thing here clearly. We had to take out our trash and bring our own towels because they don’t. All around would give a zero if possible.

WORST WORST WORST hotel I’ve EVER EVER EVER booked.I arrived on time at 3.Was given room 217,went in and the room was absolutely filthy; floors unswept or mopped, toilet and toilet seat disgusting, tub with 2 clear dirt rings, mirror u could barely see yourself in due to how cloudy it was, beds, desk, and chairs with crumbs everywhere.Immediately went back to front desk and told him it was dirty and requested a refund.He chose to give me a different room while also like scolding me to make sure my kids didn’t dirty up this new room,I guess because it’s one of his “best” rooms.So, he gives me room 102.Went inside and literally it was the same as the first room.I took pictures and immediately left.I insisted on a refund and he wouldn’t.I left and went down to the BK with my kids,calling Experian as well as the insurance protection to see what could be done.Insurance said “that” wasn’t covered and experian said they couldn’t refund me unless he refunded me.Lady from experian said he even yelled at her saying he had already tried to give me 2 different rooms, told her no complaint was even made, and that he wasn’t going to refund me.I responded with,“If no complaint was made, then why did he have to give me 2 different room choices?”To me,his own lie told on himself at the same time so why couldn’t I be refunded based off that as well.But no,all they could do was add $20 to my account.my kids and were stranded 5+ hrs from home,money lost,searching new rooms after 8. Worst time!!!

Our room has a stale weird odor, luckily I carry things to help that. The bedspread had stains on it, sheets appeared clean, but didn't fit the bed well. Ice machine didn't work. TV was fine. Mini- fridge was cold. There were several areas that had cable or electrical fixtures that were hanging out of the wall. The entire hotel room needs cleaned well and painted. Shampoo and lotion were very tiny, only enough for 1 person, no hair conditioner. Breakfast was a joke, a few bananas out, juice dispenser only apple dispensed after the staff came to adjust something to make it work, orange juice didn't work. Waffle batter making a waffle it was rubbery. Absolutely NO meat or protein sources. Only half n half for creamer for coffee. We would not ever choose this hotel for anything again. Only good thing was the Dennys restaurant next door.

The shower piping was exposed and open, moved around and sprays everywhere and did not drain properly. This hotel is very old and dingy. This is exactly why we never use Hotels.com

nothing outlets were parting from the walls, shower/tub was old as hell, beds were stiff like plywood, metal clothes hanger by sink was almost completely rusted over, the door didnt even close/seal all the way so you had all the outside noise at night

The room itself was clean linen wise. I had to hold down the lever for the toilet to flush fully. I realize it is indeed a long trip to Washington but still. Some had likely long stolen the one piece of hotel stock art you get as its lonely nail remained. The fridge was unplugged along with the tv when i got there. The fridge worked but made a noise. I found some comfort in that since everyone elses comings and goings from 1am to 3am kept waking me up as well. Bathroom pretty clean although the tub was worn and old caulk getting the greyish stains to it. Hot water was great actually even if the bathroom sink was reversed for hot to cold. a/c and heat seemed to work. If there was no where else to go out of the very many selections in this area then i would stay again if i had to.

Not with it We only had 1 hand towels and 2 rags we requested then multiple times and each time was told they would bring them in 10 mins. We even when to the front desk and same thing was told 10 mins. The toilet didn't work even after maintenance can to look at it. We never got towels and decided to leave and goes else well. Also people search rooms. The walk way upstairs was shaky and sounded like it was going to fall in. Trash was in the room from person before us. Sadly and I pick this spot often but no longer. Also no hot water to 20 minutes to warn up. Pool was not opened

Found bed bugs and cockroaches. The fridge was making repetitive noise throughout the night. Didn’t sleep very well.

Not very clean at all. Everything was old and paint peeling on doors, ceilings and stained carpet. 1/2 rolls of toilet paper. Everyplace else gives you new rolls, not used rolls. Same goes for conditioner. 1/2 bottle of conditioner, no shampoo.

location to interstate highway room was dirty, no hot water. bath towels stained, coffee pot in room was dirty and had no coffee or other needs for coffee in room. breakfast bar lacked offerings, juice machine was not working, no bread items or fruit or yogurts. this days inn should be raised and rebuilt. very dissapointed.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice but that was the only good thing. The room was abysmal. It was unbelievably filthy. As soon as we walked in, I made an off the cuff remark to my wife about the room being a crime scene. Now, I know it was true. As we just finished moving into the room, I was going to lock up my vehicle. When I reached for the door handle, a cockroach ran across the door and jumped onto the disgustingly dirty curtains! I quickly dispatched the cockroach. The sink was so clogged with hair, mold and drain scum, it wouldn’t drain. My wife called the front desk to see about getting us a plunger. They didn’t have one. They did offer to move us to another room but it was close to midnight, we were exhausted and already moved in the room after having been driving for nearly six hours. I used a wire coat hanger to try and unclog the drain. I was unsuccessful. The light bulb in the bathroom hardly made any light which was probably a good thing because it was so absolutely disgusting. The entire showerhead, faucet and tub spout were completely loose behind the wall. The shower head was moldy. There was no way we would walk on the floor in our bare feet or even socks!It was literally a dirt floor over vinyl. We travel with our own pillows and the one thing that was clean or at least we hope was clean was the sheets. I only paid $61 for the room. I overpaid. No, I was robbed.

Honestly the only thing good was the staff was nice, I was really disappointed with everything about that room, the carpet is old and nasty, the mattress was nasty, the fridge didn't work right the microwave had the wrong turn thing on there walls was stained and dirty the shower was nice, the rooms smelled had to change one room. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was ok, it just needed to be updated a little. The bathroom floor could use a little more attention to cleaning and the desk had some crumbs on it. Nothing major. The price of the room was great, so those little things could be overlooked. The location was convenient to restaurants and the highway. So overall, it was worth the stay.

The mirror on the wall fell as I was walking past it when I entered the room probably because you have to slam the door closed because you can barely open and close it. Luckily I caught and it didn’t break also luckily it didn’t land on my kid very dangerous. Please make sure what’s hanging is more secured.

Room was in poor condition. Very old. None of the lamps worked. The AC did not work well. Bathroom tile loose and holes around bath tub. Water pressure was almost non existent. Electric wall covers were missing. The only nice thing in the room were the beds they were comfortable. Being checked in was fine. I would not recommend this place at all. It needs a lot of improvement.

The air smelled of marijuana at the hotel. It appeared the door may have been kicked in a few times because it wouldn’t lock with out a hard shove from the inside. The staff was friendly enough. I booked this because it was a 7.6 star but it should have been more of a 5 star. SAFETY is the reason I marked this so low. I did not feel safe at this location.

Average stay. They let me check in before 3pm. The TV did not work, so they changed my room. I found a hair in the shower and I had to shake the handle on the toilet every time. Extremely dirty room. The walls were dirty. The floors had long black hairs all over them. Everything was old and run down. The room looked nothing like the one in the pictures. I get that it’s a cheap room but it doesn’t cost anything to clean it better.

There was mold on every surface possible we walked into nothing but roaches all over the bed counters, and even the lampshade. I tried to get my money back even one day and they wouldn’t.

I came to check into my hotel from Savannah Georgia I arrived at 2:20 and they made me sit in my car till 3:00 because the room wasn't ready. They also charged me $100 deposit. The owner of this hotel is the rudest person I have ever spoke to in my life. You need to take these people off your list because no one wants to stay at this f****** hotel

I love that it fit our budget. It was mostly clean. The only downside to this is this hotel needs upgrading. The bathroom needed a major transformation. And the parking lot needed to be repaved and repainted. The bed was somewhat comfortable but the comforter was very thin.

The curtains were stained, the furniture was old and chipped, and the entire space gave the impression that housekeeping is not being done to even basic standards. I felt uncomfortable and had to disinfect surfaces myself just to feel safe. For the price and the Wyndham name, I expected a much higher standard. My home with pets and farm animals is cleaner than this hotel room. I do not recommend staying here, and I strongly believe management needs to be retrained on cleanliness and guest safety.

This was disgusting- I have pictures of the rooms and how gross they were when we arrived. Two towels for the room, one ripped in many places and the other dirty! Will be contacting whyndham for a refund as this was disgusting

Nothing was good at the hotel. Only one bed instead of reserving a room with two. Old property was very disappointing.

The room was not clean. At all. “Breakfast” was white bread and yogurt

So quiet the whole night that I thought we were the only people there. Breakfast was ok but not much choice, waffle or cereal. The staff was terrific.

Glad I had bleach wipes in my car! Bed was comfortable. Dennys next door was convenient.

Our stay was not a enjoyable one. We had to pay a $50 deposit even though they had our credit card on file. They assigned us to a room that was occupied. I had to go to the office to change rooms. Our room leaved a lot to be desired. Not clean by any standards. The air conditioner leaked water to the inside of the room. Hotels.com should visit this location before listing this hotel.

There was not enough room for my wife's wheelchair to access the sink or the bathroom. The room was located next to stinky garbage bins. There was a leak from the bathroom fan vent on to the toilet. It had a smart television without mainstream networks.

Quiet and everything is avaible in a walking distance.

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS. The pool was fine the first day then closed the next morning for a reason they would not tell me. My kids were devastated. The toilet and ac leaked. Hair dryer almost started a fire. Run down and dirty. You get what you pay for I guess.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Disgusting. Lights did not work. Door frame was shaky and had cracks. Floor was very dirty. Bugs smashed into the floor leaving a bloody mess. Bath mat had dried blood on it. Tub’s finish was peeling up. Beds were filthy. Bugs scurried away when I pointed my flashlight on the bed. Felt unsafe outside. Poor lighting outside. I walked in and walked right back out. The pictures on the website are very misleading. I would be surprised if ANY rooms onsite looked the way they were depicted. I told the front desk clerk that I was not staying here and she apologized. Had to go to another hotel to stay.

A dump, broken sink, clothing rack pulled out of the wall, bathtub mat was left in the tub to become a mildew trap. Leaking ceiling from AC in the above room. No offer to give us a different room and no refund after making the reservation. A total dump trap.

We stayed 3 nights 4 people were in a room we had 2 towels that’s it the whole time every day when we went out and asked for towels they didn’t have any the last night we asked again the lady laughed at us we ended up having to buy them , rooms had not been cleaned in I have no idea when , stained sheets floor had stains in no way looked like the photos shown , a guy knocked on the door at 3am to buy drugs , not for normal family’s it’s more for people to live in permanently, the free breakfast is a joke , toilet didn’t flush my husband had to try and fix it himself, my son laid on the bed and screws started falling off the bed , the list goes on very disappointing and not worth what I paid at all . Not to mention the roach that crawled across my foot .

There was so much suspicious behavior happening outside I never felt safe bring my children in there! We tried to cancel the reservation but was told we needed 24 hour notice so we lost our money because we could not stay there. Single mother with two children could not take the chance of anything happening to us. There was a man at the very first room who stood at his room door monitoring all the activity going on . He was watching everyone and lingered about with a number of other people

This is really good property to stay with kids and pet for this price. Service is really great. Big property in 2 floors. All are in big, nice space. Very good and quick check in. Manager and the check in staffs are very kind and friendly. They accept and try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Good breakfast. Really amazing property for $50 per day even when busy Saturday, long weekend night. I would recommend this property to quick stay for people with more kids or having Pets. The only thing is that this is the old property. But the management is trying keep it as best as possible. Lot of rooms in both floors. Everything we need is available. Great Parking very close or front of the room. It is really very convenient if you have pets and to take out quick out walk in grass area. Altogether, this property is great and good for the price they offer

I checked in and immediately checked out. There was a women yelling and cursing outside of rooms. Assigned room was flooded.

Don’t be cheap, I made this mistake and certainly paid the price for it. But again this is your choice on what you’re looking. For me personally I didn’t last more than 5 minutes at this location. The room smelt moldy, bedsheet looked like it wasn’t washed. And the bathroom looked gross. If you want to stay in comfort and have a good peace of mind find else where to do. There’s the best western plus that’s 3 minutes down the road. You’re certainly paying for what you get at this location and I would advise paying extra else where. This location needs significant improvements. Disappointed that hotels.com had this as one of their choices. Manager was great a bit upset I couldn’t get a refund. Not what I signed up for.

Bathroom was nasty. I had to clean the seat from previous use. Beds are like sleeping in a wedge. Bath tube looked as is it had not been cleaned in a while.

This property is really run down. The air conditioner didn’t work right. The tv would not work with a remote and it took forever to get it to do anything. Paint on the walls didn’t match! The drain cover in the tub was rusty and the water was not hot. One of the light shades had soda splashed all over the inside of it. Coffee in the lobby was terrible and my husband said the lobby men’s bathroom was filthy. I don’t expect much for the price I paid but I do expect cleanliness not matter what.

my only complaint is i asked for a smoking ground floor but was given a second floor room. i have breathing problems and walking the stairs were really rough. but all in all i had no other complaints
