I had bed bugs crawling on me at 3am. I woke up and had to leave all my stuff behind and nobody has tried to contact me to make it right.

My family and I had somewhere to sleep. Everything. Breakfast was water down pancake batter, instant oatmeal, frosted flakes, raisin Bran and milk. Coffee was also watered down. The rooms are not as advertised. We had to wait until almost 1400 hrs to get a room and that was only because they didn't have public bathrooms. Check-in was suppose to be at 1300 hrs. Hallway smelled like cigarettes upon checking in from. The AC is unbelievable loud. The bathroom sink hardly had any water pressure. I traveled here from Daytona Beach Fl with my family for a Majorette competition. Front desk does not speak after you have checked in. This establishment is not welcoming at all.

The rooms and towels were not very clean. We found a pill on our floor when we walked in and the towels all had stains on them.

Do not stay here the head cleaning person thinks she runs the show around there ! We asked for toilet paper and it was never given to us, they were supposed to clean our room and they came in spoke whatever language they speak to each other and some of it was negative towards my daughter that part I understood then they didn’t even bother cleaning the room they only made the beds didn’t sweep or mop or clean the bathroom didn’t give us clean towels or anything!! They are horrible do not stay here !!!

This is a very bare bones. Just need to sleep in a clean place motel. I like that the doors are inside the hallway, not facing outside. Things like a blow dryer. I had to ask for they weren’t automatically in the room, but they did have a small refrigerator and microwave. I like that there was no carpet because I not thrilled with carpet any place ever! The price was incredibly fair and there was no fee for our 8 pound dog. We stayed another place a previous evening in our travel that was slightly more expensive and having a dog was an additional $50, Nearly the same price as the room! For being such a basic place, I can see why their readings are as high as they are because it was clean and a great place for an overnight stop. There wasn’t anything I really didn’t like except I did have to ask for a blow dryer, but that wasn’t that big a deal.

This hotel is close to eating places and the management welcomed me upon my arrival.

They kept my room clean every 2 days but never changed my sheets the whole 2 weeks I stayed there.

The shower had no place to set shampoo or other items, lighting was misplaced and no lamps, breakfast was only waffles, cereal, or toast, vegetable garden in buckets in the back of the building. Overall clean but wouldn’t recommend.

A great overnight getaway for anyone passing through the area on I-77. The bed is very comfortable, great customer service at the front desk, and a few restaurants and a dollar store all within 1 mile of the motel (including quick access to the interstate).

I was also impressed by the number of restaurants nearby and the selection of TV channels as well!

Upon check-in there was a requirement for a security deposit after not mentioning it in details on Expedia. I paid the security deposit and when checking out I asked if they would check the room so I could receive my deposit back. I called the hotel back after noticing the charge for was posted instead of pending. The hotel stated there was an aroma of an illegal substances upon checking the room which was checked by “3 people” (extreme if you ask me). I will not be staying here anymore on vacation! I did call my bank in order to get my money back. If I could leave a -1 star I would. Take your money elsewhere.

I booked 2 rooms weeks before our stay but we were not given rooms near each other. Check in was very slow even though we were the only ones in line. 1st room we went into had a bad smell so we came straight out, complained, and were givin another room. The room was adequate for our 1 night stay. We were not told there was breakfast but it was very minimal.

An emergency stay due to my home buring down. It served its purpose. The staff are very friendly. Mattresses are entirely too hard. Needs some fabric softener in the sheets and towels.

The outside of the property was nice. But the rooms need some much needed cleaning. The walls were dirty with visible dirt on them. The towels and wash cloths in the bathroom were so dark with stains I wouldn’t use them to wash my dog with. The bed spread had several burn holes in it. The white sheets were more like a dingy grey. Needless to say we didn’t get a shower and we slept on top of the sheets. Do better and renovation needed. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

The best thing I can say about it is, I had been booked into a King smoking and error. The kid at the desk gave me a single queen for the same price in non-smoking, but I was right next to the smoking room and the door where everyone went out to smoke. But he did give me the same price, so for that I was grateful not to pay anymore for this room.

They are not friendly at all. They have an attitude. They don't like you asking question. They stare a hole in you when you fix breakfast. They also said that we had too much luggage with a family of five. Never heard of this before. Not a rule also.

AVOID! The only reason I gave 2 stars, is for the location. It is surrounded by restaurants within walking distance. However, the owner definitely lacks pride in this business. When you walk in the main entrance, there's a huge uncovered hole through the ceiling. Guy who checked us in-not friendly at all. Get off the elevator, gag, almost puke due to the intense marijuana smell. I'm marijuana friendly, but this was unbearable. Room was fairly clean. Multiple burn holes in both comforters, stains on sheets, worn holes in curtain, thin as paper pillows, no back on the remote or anything to hold the batteries in. I travel a lot, and this place was so rough/sketchy, we stayed 45 minutes and then turned the keys in and got back on the road with the kids. This hotel isn't "bare minimum, " it's BARE BONES! Drive half hour down the road to Lexington Inn and Suites. For $9 more, youll get an excellent hotel with friendly staff and hot breakfast bar.

If the bed could be moved a little more away from the table, I could have moved using my walker down that side. It would be nice having a grab bar on the wall inside the shower & maybe a bar on wall to the right when stepping out of shower. All of these changes will make a handicap person feel safe. housekeeping kept having mis- communications when it came to what we had and didn’t have in the room. even though we didn’t bother them the first 3 days, we asked for new towels because ours were dirty, the man then proceeded to argue with my gf saying we did get towels when we didn’t. this happened 3 times in the one week we stayed. need better staffing and cleaning utensils. a towel with a stick on it is not a mop !

The staff was horrible. Accused me of bringing a pet when all I had where three ladies clothing in one bag. It was horrible. They followed us to our room to check it out. Will NOT visit again. Also, we stayed across the street on the way home from our trip and it was wonderful.

My stay was okay. When I checked in the clerk said to me give me the money when it was time to pay. The towels that was In my room was dirty the covers had holes in them from someone smoking.

Not a terrible stay but we checked in late and the guy at the desk was more interested on whatever was on his phone than welcoming us. The room was nice and comfortable, but the HVAC made such a noise every time it came on that it prevented a good nights sleep. It served its purpose in being convenient and cheap. Also breakfast was very misleading. Cereal and a waffle maker. I doubt I would stay there again.

My stay saddened me! We have stayed at this property for years. Each stay it has always been clean and inviting. But never again! FILTHY & UNKEPT! We requested a 2nd floor room, the elevator door opened, floor/walls were filthy! Arriving on the second floor, hallway filled with the smell of marijuana! I was ready to leave but it was late, my husband said once we get into the room we wouldn't smell it. We got into the room, there was a hole burnt in the floor, we pulled back the sheets and the fitted sheet had a burnt hole in it and the bed frame was broken! Again, I am ready to leave! My husband was tired from his travels and said let's just request for a different room downstairs. We did & showed front desk our issues. Our new room, we could see that maintenance/ upkeep of the rooms from our previous visits no longer existed. Rust stains, dust, wall stains, dirty trash can, mildew/mold, and the tub spout was detached from the tub. Worn paper thin towels and face towels. I took my Lysol and Clorox wipes and cleaned. I was about to take a shower, open up a towel from the towel holders and it was badly stained! I immediately took it to the front desk and was given a raggedy worn dingy towel in return! The next morning we asked for a iron and front desk said they did not have one. I refused to stay another night & stayed with family in Chester, SC. My husband had to leave early the next morning and stayed because the hotel was closer to the highway BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!

I should have listened to the negative reviews… we’re not picky people at all but this place doesn’t even meet bare minimum standards. The front desk lady was lovely and that would be the extent of anything positive I would have to say. Dirty, cigarette burns in the bed linens, overall musty smell in the whole place, broken discarded mini fridges outside the back door and incredibly noisy between the rooms and the hallway. The adjoining door to the next room had several inches gaps at the top and bottom. We could clearly hear and see the light from the room next door. The people in the room across the hall were smoking weed (on a non smoking floor) and the smell was extremely strong. The back door to the building was taped open, no security whatsoever. We had just travelled 12 hours and were exhausted so we tried to sleep for about 4 hours (ontop of the bed linens) and then gave up and left shortly after 10pm. Honestly, just don’t do it

The the walk-in price of a one-night hotel stay was 15% cheaper than booking through hotels.com, so i will not be using them again.

The lady at check in was somewhat friendly but that was okay with us. However, the deadbolt on our room was bent like someone tried kicking in the door. So we were not able to deadbolt our door for extra security. The room smelled musty and the tub was filthy with some kind of brown stain in it. So needless to say, we weren’t going to take a shower in that! The bed was okay, at least it was a place to get some sleep. The floors felt grimy and sticky and you could smell the cigarette smoke coming through the door. I would only recommend this motel if you were in desperate need of sleep. Otherwise, go to a nicer motel like the Drury.

Asked the front desk to please ask the room to turn down the music, because 1) it's late and 2) i had a young child trying to sleep. The bathroom had multiple stains. Toiletries were not fresh. Bed sheets had burn marks on them. It was an absolute terrible stay and I will not be back

Very inexpensive, but got what we paid for. Apparently the last 2 rooms in the hotel and more broadly in the area for that night. The hotel is very run down. Burn holes in linens, stains on walls. Despite my room being "non-smoking" everything I had smelled like smoke for days. The check-in process seemed to take forever. Not a pleasant stay.

Had difficulty finding the facility, as its hidden behind a restaurant. Not their fault, but the application on my phone placed this facility 2 miles out of the way. But when I got back to the highway, I saw their large Motel 6 sign up in the air, taller than everything else! No problems!

Don’t stay here. They give your rooms away although you have a reservation and charge you twice and act like they don’t want to give your money back for something they did wrong and it’s not clean and smell horrible this is the most ghetto place I have ever stayed never again.

Reservations for a nonsmoking king suite. Got there, only had a Queen. Checked in and went to room. Card wouldn’t work. Went back to front, got new key, get inside, bed unmade, room smelled like smoke. Bugs in front lobby. Immediately checked out. Will not return

Some things I would recommend be addressed: 1. no coffee in rooms or even in the morning in the lobby. You got to have coffee on site somewhere! 2. I stayed on floor 1. The floor above creaked so badly and every step in the room above was like a rhino walking around. I don't know what they can do about it. If you stay here, ask for a room without someone above you, if you can get it. I wasn't able to sleep as the room above me was like a stampede going on until 11pm. Not fun. 3. They should consider going non-smoking fully. The smoke smell creeps out the hallways and even to the lobby area. The covers end up with cigarette burn holes. Non-smokers will hate that even though covers are clean.

You get what you pay for. It was fine for traveling thru, just to sleep. Price was right, rooms looked updated, staff friendly. Had a little trouble checking in...seemed "Expedia made the reservation but the king room wasnt held. No shampoo or hair dryer or coffee in room or lobby. Heating didnt work the best and was loud. It was ok though.
