The property was nice itself The fact that I booked a room with the hot tub inside for my anniversary and it was broken when we got there. The fact that they even let you book the room knowing it was broken is baffling to me. Not to mention the strong disgusting odor of marijuana that came into our room the whole night and outside our room was ridiculous. Check out time was 11am we left at 845 in the morning. Didn’t even eat the complimentary breakfast.

Hotel was convenient; parking and check-in easy. DId not eat the breakfast--rather got up and left. Room was clean and comfortable. Wish they had "high-rise" (ADA compliant) toilets...but they don't.

Room was fine, lots of hairs on bed sheets though. The mini fridge did not work. All the towels they provided were stained. The shower drain is slow and water puddles on shower floor. The breakfast is never fully stocked and options are minimal. I cannot recommend this hotel. It seems to be a super 8 renamed to Baymont. Room doors are external. The Motel 6 and Quality Inn hotels across the street have doors on the inside.

This was probably the worst hotel I ever booked on this app. The room smelled, visible brown stains on the comforter, dirt on the floor and dirty bathroom towels. I believed other reviews and thought this would be a decent room for a cheap price. It was horrible. They switched my room and still had to ask them to change the linen. The hotel manager came out of another room with a cut-off tee and basketball shorts, passed me a card and stated to call him if I have any further issues. My family was exhausted and we couldn't get a refund. We stayed long enough for a power nap then left this filthy place.

Horrible! Asked for creamer. None. Use milk.none. biscuits crumbled trying to pick them up. Sausage gravy dried to bottom of vat. Eggs in fridge. Heat them yourself. Started at 6am. Got there at 6:12. This was breakfast smh

The hotel is very dated, in disrepair and very dirty. Hvac units were all destroyed on the outside of all the rooms, the room had a nasty smell when we entered the room. Then the room was disgusting. There were suspicious stains on the sheets, and furniture. The floors were gross and left our socks black. The sink had a giant hole in it, the plugs didnt have covers on them. The water control for the shower would pull out of the wall when you pulled it to turn the water on. There was hair in the shower and a piece of toilet paper that looked used stuck to one of the hinges of the bathroom door. They came in to "clean" the room 1 day out of 4 being there and didnt even fully make up the bed. They just chucked the comforter onto the coat rack. This was one of the worst if not the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. Would not pay what i did for the room and would love to have money back from it.

Convient. Beds, sink area had been nicely updated. Staff very friendly. Bathroom needs to be updated. Door was scraping on floor and hard to close. Tub was generally with ground in dirt. Would not take a bath in it. Hair dryer had broken switch-loose. When plugged in it ran but needs to be replaced. Is a fire hazard.

Overall the room was decent. It wasn't perfect by any means. The fridge was moldy and unusable as it had been unplugged for a seemingly long time but that was the biggest issue with the place. The bed linens were clean and everything else was good, We didn't try the breakfast though so I can't comment on that.

Checked in really late but was quick and easy. Room was cold so we turned on heat. Never really heated up and were cold all night. It was just too late to request another room or report to try and have them fix it. Bedding was rather thin so not very helpful. Otherwise, clean and convenient from the highway.

Checked in for 3 days with a late check out, Major issues with room prep, smelled like a rotting wet mop, bed frame completely separated.at the headboard making the bed a giant " V" shape while being made up for rental they KNEW about the issue, phone did not have a dial tone to be able to call the desk and report the issues which caused a person with a disability to go back to the desk and attempt to get someone to the desk, finally after several ( 4-5 ) rings of the loud Christmas toned bell system someone returned to the front desk, was told that we could move to a NON handicapped room for the night which would NOT work for us, that they would have maintainance in the room at 8:30 the next morning to fix the issues, we made do with the sleeper sofa for the night and waited until 11:00 A M. NO MAINTENANCE arrived, we had to CANCEL 2 house viewing appointments because we couldn't shower while waiting for maintenance to come. Went back to the desk at 11:30 and discovered that the " maintenance man" WAS WORKING THE FRONT DESK & HAD NO IDEA OF THE ISSUE BECAUSE HE WASN'T TOLD. motels or hotels have maintenance working the front desk ? Never in my life have I seen that before and I WAS a MOTEL MANAGER FOR MANY YEARS ! Was also told at check-in that we had rented the last handicapped room, which was NOT true, they CLEANED the handicapped room nextdoor to us where we KNOW was empty end moved us into that room at 4 P.M. THE NEXT DAY, EVERY DAY we had to reset keys for a 3 day stay

Everything was what I expected. The jacuzzi was a little bigger than expect so that was nice, but it was still sticky and had cleaning powder or something on it? I just wiped it down myself, no biggie.

You can tell this is a newly renovated hotel. Some of the stuff was very nice and others looked very dated. But it was clean. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked perfectly And the shower had good pressure. I would recommend I would stay here again.

The bathroom vinyl floor was torn and damaged around the toilet. The toilet was not fastened to the ground properly. The bathtub did not drain properly and the lower wall repair was done by someone that had no business trying to fix anything. The rest of the space was functional but the bathroom ruined the room.

We went down on Thursday, but we was fine with them not coming while we were still there. This hotel use to be Super 8 which I had an issue last year with the lady at the front. Bed was comfortable but the floor could have been cleaner. My granddaughters feet were dirty from walking on the floor in there bare feet.could definitely use some upgrading and any repairs that were done were done poorly. But all that being said it wasn’t horrible for the money.

This hotel was super convenient and we were coming through for bike week. You can tell they are very much in the middle of renovation and I’m hoping it will be really nice when they are done. People outside feeding random cats which looked like they lived there full time. Quiet at night.

Our linens had some type of stain all over it. The comforter was so old that there was barely anything to keep you warm. The smell was so bad and musty. Poor lighting around the area. Parking spaces are not long enough for full-size vehicles.

They are in the process of updating rooms and what was done was good. It was clean and a good value for the one night lodging that we needed on our travels. Front desk was very accommodating and friendly.

Some upgrades were taking place but the property is in need of some major improvements. Rooms were solid so noise from neighbors or the street disturbed us.

Very thin floor, lots of noise and creaking above me, had a terrible sleep. Don't stay on first floor ! Also was told hot sausage and gravy available at breakfast, but the next morning I'm told sausage not available. Disappointed.

Overall it was a decent basic place to spend the night near the freeway. The only real downside was that it was a little noisy since it was near a main road and the truckers passing by could be heard.

This hotel is not up to Wyndham standards. Besides the absent shower curtain (because we arrived late we didn’t check before going to bed!) in the morning, the breakfast availability was poor. Breakfast was offered from 6-9 am and we went at 7:30 and the sausage gravy was gone, waffle batter was finished, biscuits were gone. When we commented on it, nothing was said or done. I’m not one to complain. I don’t like doing that. But Wyndham has always been a good, reliable, dependable name. And for $112 per night at this motel, it certainly isn’t worth it. Sorry.

Very noisy from upper room all night long. The place is run down and the ice machine was disgusting . We could see light through the gap in our door. There was new carpeting on the floor but fixtures were very worn.

I pre booked 2 rooms on a family trip with 4 kids based on hotel having a pool. It had a pool, but it was not in service, still waiting for inspections and approval. I should have been given some compensation for this.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room smelled awful. I had some Febreeze in my car so I retrieved it to spray the room. Lampshades were busted and cracked. Bathroom floor had a white residue on it. The mattress was old, lumpy, and extremely hard. The AC was very cold !

We stayed once at the beginning of the week and once at the end. The beginning stay was so-so. The front desk lady was the KINDEST woman. She definitely made the stay that day. Unfortunately the beds the first day were “well used” and stained on the sides. The room and the bedding did seem very clean, but they could definitely spare to update the beds. I will say, we had an incident around 2am that night with a dog howling above us but someone must’ve complained because they quieted down. This was no fault of the hotel, but thought I would mention the walls aren’t very soundproof. Breakfast here was very minimal but good for on the go. The night we spent at the end of the week would’ve given it 5/5 stars. Everything (even the beds) were perfectly clean and once again, the front desk guy was SOOOOO NICE.

The main problem here is that the room stunk and was gross. I had to leave the door open for 30 minutes to try and get some smell out. There was roach powder messily applied to all the baseboards. The towels were like sand paper. The shower was brown and gross. I've stated in plenty of Super 8's and many are reasonable. I don't have high expectations. Here, I slept with the lights on for fear of stepping on cockroaches when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Spend the extra 20 or 30 bucks and avoid this place.

This is an old motel that caters to a sketchy clientele. The towels were shredded, the blanket had burn holes in it and the shower curtain was filthy with black mold and mildew. The staff were rather abrupt when I complained, not really wanting to hear what I had to say. I will never stay here again and will steer clear of all Super 8 accommodations.

Pros=Spacious room, included couch, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker. Adequate no frills breakfast included. Friendly staff. Cons=toilet seat hinge broken, several light bulbs burned out, non smoking room had cigarette odor, although sheets and towels did not.

It is very clear that they are renovating the place. We got a no smoking room but it smelled of smoke. The electrical panels were questionable, the bathroom area very unfinished. The check in and out process was easy but would only recommend this place as somewhere for a one night stay as i did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst night sleep I’ve ever had. Room was filthy. The sheets looked ok and it was late, the kids were tired so we decided it wasn’t worth it to pack everything back up and try to find another hotel. Someone very heavy started pacing around above us at 12:30am and did not stop until 4, then started again at 6:30. In the daylight we could see how bad the room was. There were pubes and dead bugs all over the bathroom floor, looked like it had never been cleaned, the bathtub was disgusting. When we went to wash up we noticed both wash cloths had stains on them, the hand towel had what looked like blood stains, clearly had not been washed. Also there was absolutely no garbage bin in the room. Not even so much as a bag to put garbage in. I had to resort to disposing of my feminine hygiene products in one of the paper cups as a last resort. Probably the most disturbing thing we found was what looked like blood spatter on the baseboards of one of the beds. I’m going to try and imagine that it is ketchup or bbq sauce that someone spilled, but judging by the sketchy area, and unsavoury characters lingering outside (cars coming and going all night I’m quite sure there were drug deals going on in the parking lot all night), it makes me assume the worst.

It was really good. They treated me with kindness and told you exactly where to go and how to get to your room. The beds were made and things was perfect. Just bring toilet tissue because sometimes, they will forget but it’s a small thing that you can bring on the trip there. I’m very pleased

Arrived late in the evening to a reserved, NON-smoking room. Walked in and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Although the room was pretty clean, the bed cover had cigarette burn holes in it. Immediately went to the desk and asked to be moved. The clerk was very accommodating and moved us to another room. That room was clean and no cigarette smell. Nothing fancy, but after being moved, it was a decent room for the price.

Super 8 is a budget motel and like most budget motels, the rooms are dated, bathrooms are not up kept and the decor is tired. The staff was amazing though! I had to switch rooms because the first room's tub had a crack and filled the bedroom carpet with water. The staff was wonderful about getting me a new room, right next door but the first room should never have been rented in that condition.

You get what you pay for. However, it was decent for the price. There is no iron in the rooms to iron your clothes. And none on the property. There was pee on the toilet seat as if it was never cleaned from the last stay. Which was a little disgusting.

I was “upgraded?” from a king bed to a two queen bed room on the bottom floor. The ‘other’ bed in the room had what looked to be a red wine stain visible on the sheet. It appeared to have been washed but should have at least been at the bottom of the bed. The price was reasonable for an older style room like this but user ratings were better that the motel’s attention to detail.

Hotel lobby and rooms are very clean. For the most part the property was clean the hallway by the laundry room had a lot of standing water laundry room wasn't clean. Beds and pillows are okay could use an upgrade. Desk staff was friendly and helpful housekeepers were very frustrating. They do accept pets Which was very helpful. I would stay at this property again

Property was clean. Staff was friendly. I did have to book reservation on line because price at hotel was more and he would not price match. He told me to book through expedia. Room was clean. Bed and pillows need updates. Air conditioning did not cool the whole room. Couch was cool but bed was not. I would stay here again and would let family stay here if they came to visit.

No one was at desk to check in. Waiting over 20 min. The room was EXTREMELY MUSTY smelling. Outlets by bed didnt work, smoke detector was hanging off wall with missing cover and no battery, toilet was broken and ran all night. The bed was very hard!

Everything was clean but the air in the room was very damp even though air conditioning unit was on.

Checking in the person at the counter was very great and accommodating. The room was ok and could have been a little better. The bathtub was covered in hair along with the toilet. It was a nonsmoking room with blanket with burn holes in them. Quiet property and would stay again with hopes of more cleanliness.

White sheets with black specs of some substance, could of been fleas. Hair on shower curtain and behind bathroom door. Leftover stale toast under nightstand from previous guests. Quilt on top of bed had homemade patches and burn marks even in a non smoking room.

Needed to break up a long solo car trip with this single night stay. The non smoking room smelled musty, there was no sense of cleanliness. Slept in my comfy clothing, including hood to not have my skin contact questionable sheets, left my pillow in the car. Got a decent sleep but I wouldn't return.

Smelly, Dirty and unsafe rooms. My room had the fire detector missing; cant understand how this hotel remains open. Very sketchy people hanging around. Do yourself a favor, invest few backs and stay in the holiday inn across the highway.

About what I expected for an inexpensive hotel near the freeway as I was passing through. Bed was comfortable, but the room was stinky. The people above me made noise most of the night which I do not blame the hotel for that. Just the clientele that stay at a budget hotel. Breakfast was typical continental. New computer system made check in slow.

We were in a non smoking room that smelled like smoke and had a cigarette hole burned in the comforter. The beds sheets had black stains all over them.

One of the nicer Super 8 hotels I've stayed at. Could use some updates, but quite clean. Appreciate that my dog could stay for only $15.

This stop was convenient for our travels, so we booked it. We're easy-going travelers, and understand what we're getting for this price-point. But this place missed the mark. Stepping into the room, you're immediately overwhelmed by the smell of smoke, even though this was a non-smoking room. The wall had some red sauce splattered on it, the toilet seat was broken, the comforter had what appeared to be dried paint on it, and the ceiling in bathroom was falling apart. These things should have easily been spotted by housekeeping, so it concerned us as to the level of cleaning done between stays. The staff was friendly, so that was the only high-point of our 2 hour stay. We couldn't overcome the smell of smoke in the room, so we left after a few hours in the room, booked another hotel in Columbia, SC for the night, and had a vastly better experience.

We had lot of traffic and Arrived Late Night. We had reservations. Room 119 In Poor Condition. Needs Upgraded was not very clean. Last year we stayed here was Good , Wife not Happy and told Innkeeper when we left room needs cleaned thoroughly. Carpet needs vacuumed and room smelled like a smoking room and we dont smoke and requested a non smoking room. Not Happy..

This is an old motel that hasn’t been updated. Carpeting had stains. Requested a non-smoking room, but had a smoky smell and bedspread had holes from cigarette burns.

It was a very pleasant place to spend the night.

My stay was fine my room was clean and did NOT see and rouches witch was good we stayed 1 night the guy at the front desk was nice and they lady in the morning was friendly the property was clean i didnt have a problem with the hotel and will stay again if i had to and there breakfast was good also

The property overall is what to be expected, myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights and while it was clean, we did have a couple roach problems and the noice level from neighboring rooms was very noticeable. Our biggest issue was upon check in we were paying the animal fee and were later called saying we were only charged for one night instead of two. We go back down after checking our bank statement and say we were indeed charged for the two nights he proceeded to argue with us and insisted on us paying again. In the end we were charged four separate times for the pet fee. He said that they would refund us for the overcharge but would not provide us with anything showing the credit as well as would not provide us with contact in case we never received the refund. Overall we will not be staying here again and would not recommend just based off the customer service as well as the carelessness of how an overcharge was handled .
