    I thought the parking was a bit high, but I understand the reason for the charge. Also, I thought the breakfast were very nice and tasty, although they were a bit high, as well, but the breakfast attendants were not pleasant when asked questions. Thank you!

    The parking was great, the hotel was pleasant and beautiful. The actual mattress on the bed was stained and the sheets were dingy/yellowish. I wipe the room down and it was a lot hair and dirt still there.

    Everything was good but the only reason why I really choose this hotel is because my son wanted to get in the pool, and No one told us that the pool is under maintenance and you can't use it, at all I would off hoped someone would of called or email me informing me that it was closed temporarily

    Not welcoming. Beds hard. No art. Cold and institutional feeling. My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for years. It’s near our son’s home and we stay here when we visit. The hotel no longer feels comfortable. No warmth, welcome. Finding someplace else next time.

    Nothing really stood out, either positively or negatively. The biggest disappointment was that the room I stayed in didn't appear to have been remodeled. It had a very dated, old-school feel, which just isn't my preference. The bathroom could have used more attention as well—the toilet had noticeable yellow/orange ring stains, which wasn't a great first impression. The gym was decent but nothing special. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the bar area looked nice and was probably one of the better parts of the property. Overall, it's an older-style hotel that may appeal to some travelers, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting from a Westin.

    We were upgraded to a King Deluxe, which I think was just a mini-fridge addition (which did come in handy after all). Parking in the garage was easy. The room was generally clean, although our sheets had some holes in the them, but they were clean and fresh. The only downsides were how much trash was overflowing in the garage and random trash in the corners of the elevator and hallway, but that's a rude guest problem more than an oversight beacuse the mess was cleaned up in the elevator and hallway quickly. All-in-all it was a really comfortable place to stay overnight. Very quiet, too!

    Convenient location. Have stayed here several times but I notice Marriott is skimping on service. No lotion no shower cap and limited towels. The housekeeper took away most of the used towels and bath mat towel and did not replace, and left behind wet washcloth.

    The only issues I had were there were only 2 towels given for the room for 2 people which I found strange. I asked for more to be sent up and 25 mins later they arrived. The manager apologized and remedied it. The other thing I noticed were there were zero coffee creamers provided with our room and so you had to enjoy only a black coffee which was hard upon waking. The TV remote system was quite laborious and you couldn’t log into your streaming apps for a movie and their TV options were limited. So if you’re staying in and want a good movie, that may be problematic. The WiFi wavered in and out at times, too. We had wanted to try out a happy hour meal but were stated they were closed for a private event. Once again, if you’re a hotel guest, you should

    The room itself was very spacious, giving me plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. Whether you’re staying for a quick trip or a longer visit, the layout makes it easy to unwind and feel at home. The bed was another highlight extremely comfortable with just the right balance of softness and support. I had no trouble getting a good night’s sleep, which is always a major plus when traveling. What really stood out, though , was the view. It was absolutely beautiful and added a peaceful, scenic touch to the entire stay. Waking up to that view each day made the experience feel even more special. Overall, between the cleanliness, roomy accommodations, comfortable bed, and stunning view, I would definitely recommend staying here.

    Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 kid and room was spacious and had comfortable bed. The only down side of the stay was the pool was not maintained at all, it was open 8am-10pm and we went around 8pm. My son couldn’t even enjoy swimming for more than 15 minutes because it smelled like feet. We even picked this hotel cause they have an indoor pool. Overall it was nice that they have a restaurant in the lobby so room service was great and food was good but pricey.

    Bed was comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms modern. Very clean hotel and room and restaurant. Parking is $15 but is convenient. The breakfast buffet includes hot and cold options. Hot eggs and fresh fruit. Worth getting a room with breakfast included. Or just pay which ever works best. We would go back and we recommend. Staff is respectful and professional.

    The waiter for the morning buffet went above and beyond to help us. My wife left her earrings wrapped in a napkin so she could transport them to a work assignment on the table after we finished eating. I dropped her off at her assignment and returned to the hotel and asked the waiter if I could look through the trash for the earrings. He told me he could not allow me to do so and proceeded to do so himself not once but twice. He did not find them so I thanked him and proceeded to the room. Minutes later I got a call from the front desk to say they had the earrings. The waiter had searched a third time in the trash and found them. My biggest regret is I forgot to ask for his name. KUDOS TO HIM!

    Initially the tv in the room wasn’t working, but the hotel engineer was able to resolve that problem quickly and easily. The room itself was very clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable. My only issue was that the body wash in the shower was completely out - and this is the second time in a row of staying at this hotel that this was the case. I did tell the front desk clerk upon checkout since I was only staying for the one evening. Overall I love the location of this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

    Horrific!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY it’s not a true Westin buyer beware - the hotel is in complete disrepair the HVAC wasn’t working the elevator was neglected and we got stuck!!!!!! On check in we had to be moved 4 times due to ripped bedding and leaking rooms ! The worst hotel stay right behind a double tree! They were working on the rooms as early as 6:45 banging and making incredibly loud noise do not stay here

    I am writing regarding my stay on December 30. At approximately 2:30 a.m., I was woken by loud noise coming from a neighboring room. The disturbance was due to very loud intimate activity, which continued long enough to significantly disrupt my sleep. I did not report the issue at the time because I was feeling ill and did not feel well enough to contact the front desk or request assistance in the middle of the night. However, the noise had a clear negative impact on my rest and overall stay. I wanted to report this after checkout so the incident could be documented and addressed.     When we got to the front desk, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. We waited a long time before finally finding her stocking the snack area. When we approached her, she was rude and dismissive, even though we had already been standing there waiting to be checked in. The king room we reserved wasn’t available, so we were given a room with two double beds. The room itself was not properly cleaned there was a dirty towel left in the bathroom floor and even a spider on one of the beds. Definitely not what you expect from a Westin. The worst part came after checkout, when we were charged a $200 fee for “damaged bedding,” which is completely untrue. We immediately disputed this charge and provided photos showing the condition of the room as it was given to us. Even after presenting evidence, the hotel only refunded half the amount, which is unacceptable. We returned the room in the same condition we received it actually, probably better considering the state it was in. This stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Poor housekeeping, unprofessional customer service, and an unfair charge made this experience frustrating and unacceptable. We will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to others.

    My stay at The Westin Reston Heights was very disappointing. I felt extremely uncomfortable because the staff seemed to be watching and following me throughout the property, which made it hard to relax or enjoy my visit. To make matters worse, I noticed miscellaneous charges added to my bill even though I had already checked out. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties before and usually have positive experiences, but this visit did not meet expectations at all. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns so future guests feel more welcome and respected.

    The last handful of times I have had to ask for a clean comforter because it smelled dirty. It just smelled like someone sweated on it etc. and nobody wants to sleep in that. I got a new comforter once, which didn’t fit the bed I had. I think a lot has been overlooked and gone downhill much more just because I enjoy visiting the restaurant staff and the beds are comfortable. Just buy the equivalent bed. Things are normally never stocked in the room regardless of if you bring your own shower products/soap. If you expect them to be there and don’t one time then you’re trying to doordash things to you. I still stop in to visit the bartenders and grab a bite, I just don’t stay the night. Also, disappointed the pool has never been cleaned/fixed and available for use. I looked forward to using it with my son but it didn’t look like sanitary to get into. Has a lot of potential and things that are being ignored which has steared me away from staying there.

    Check in was quick and smooth as usual. Always enjoy seeing all the staff, no matter who is here, it’s always pleasant to see a familiar and friendly face. My dog now recognizes when we come here and even knows her way around. She had a huge smile on her face when we got to the room. I reserved just a standard King bed room and was upgraded to a suite. She is small, but has more room to play with her ball. I always feel very safe and comfortable here. The staff is always more than accommodating!

    I arrived at the hotel around 3:30AM on 8/15. The hotel did not allow me to check in due to computer system down. I had to stay at the lobby for 4 hours till 7:00AM. When I finally checked in the room it was about 7:45AM. This is not acceptable.

    I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, I chose this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool, I chose this hotel because by the name I thought it was a quality hotel, I was wrong, the sheet on the bed was torn, there were no plastic garbage bags inside the room, that is not clean, the pool is disgustingly dirty, of course I did not get in the pool but it is so dirty that it is impossible for no one in that hotel not to see it, dirty from many days, of course they see it and do nothing, that is a lack of respect and shame on the workers and the hotel, I took photos and video of everything, it is unacceptable, I have never seen a hotel with a pool in those conditions, it is disgusting.

    My friend and I traveled from Philadelphia to Reston VA for a wedding. The Reston Westin was in a great location, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We especially liked the restaurant harvest and vine in the hotel. I recommend the Cobb salad and the breakfast buffet

    The room was perfect except pieces of hair found in the shower. Sheets were clean, no smells in the room. Great balcony and wonderful complimentary water. The next morning, we got breakfast. It was amazing but there was a fee of $48, it was not complimentary. I wish we knew about this fee in advance. But overall our stay was great and I would do it again.

    We lost power in a big storm, so I booked this at the last minute as a way to get my family into some AC and have a little entertainment. I am SO glad that I did! this was perfect for us, and my son called it "the best hotel ever". The staff were friendly and understanding, and I felt better the moment I stepped into the shower. My son had fun in the pool, and I appreciated the noon check out. Hopefully we won't lose power and need this again, but I'm definitely going to recommend it to friends and relatives when they come visit.

    Overall it was ok. We were traveling with kids and parents ( Senior citizens) and there was no bellboy to help with luggage. The rooms were ok , bed skirts and curtains plus carpet looked dirty and did not seem 4 star.

    Always lovely to stay here. It’s become my favorite staycation spot for me, my toddler and dog. Rare if I am solo, but either way very comfortable and accommodating to any and everything. Staff is exceptional and always friendly. Not to mention the restaurant here is delish, definitely try the ambassador burger- they also have the GOOD frys. :) I couldn’t find my dogs travel bowl at check in, and asked if they might have a bowl to use until I got one. They went above and beyond to ensure she had everything. Her smiles were the best part of any of my stays here dealing with all of her health issues lately, it meant the world to me. Took a few cute pics of how happy she was. I am very grateful for my home away from home, and how welcoming they always are to me and especially me with my son and/or dog. Thank you to all the staff at Westin!

    It’s always a treat to stay here. Favorite staycation spot now! Last time I was with my toddler and small dog and was also great. their burger is so delicious and looked forward to it again. (I didn’t know it was available if you weren’t staying here) it is. Highly recommend the ambassador burger and fries, they have the GOOD fries! It’s my #1 hotel to choose local for a staycation so especially if from out of town.

    The staff are incredible here. I had a unique situation with my 90-year-old mom, who also has some memory loss issues. I had no choice but to have her stay for 4 or 5 days. The staff went above and beyond to help her with her non-hotel-related needs/requests, talked with her and kept her company, and even ensured she had something to eat when she missed food service. The property is pleasant, her room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is convenient to Reston Town Center.

    Anisa is truly the reason I keep coming back to the Westin. I am a regular here but my last few visits she has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and take care of me. I come here to relax and reset and this time under more difficult circumstances that life has thrown my way. She is not only the most hospitable human I have encountered but her empathy and service during a difficult life trial has made me feel special and cared for. Once again I am in Awe and my review does not do justice for how wonderful she is to me time and time again..

    Everything was amazing, food was great as well and my doggy loved the balcony. I will note that you do need to pay for parking, but everything was very convenient for us and was a nice staycation with my dog, and son. Very spacious room for my son. Staff was very accommodating, kind and professional. I like it to be cold to sleep. Perhaps because it was a larger room, it didn’t cool off like the others but it was wasn’t a deal breaker or HOT. I just love the cold to sleep and couldn’t make it any cooler than the lowest setting. I would still highly recommend it! Live music was also a plus. :) I didn’t have a chance to go to the pool, but is always a great perk.

    Overall, the hotel is located in a safe area and is convenient to reston town center. The staff at the desk was very nice. However, when we got in the room, there was still trash in the garbage pail which was not ours,and there were crumbs on the floor, which told me they didn’t clean the room very well.

    The only vent in the entire room is about 10"x6". No other vents or fans in the bedroom, bathroom or entry. Very little airflow from the one vent. I measured CO2 coming from the vent and it was the same as the ambient CO2 in the room. One of the many common side effects from high CO2 is headaches/migraines. I get terrible migraines which makes travel & flying unbearable. Zero ventilation violates Virginia, ASHRA & OSHA federal air quality limits. It's not just unhealthy, levels this high are dangerous. I reserved a balcony room, but balcony rooms are next to ice machines & elevators, they also overlook the highway (very loud) stink bugs were on balcony. Room doors are heavily weighted and difficult to open, they automatically slam shut with great force (extremely loud), doors were slamming shut up/down hallway all night. A/C was broken, 2 hrs+ for repairs, room temp 86F up until 11PM. Took 3hrs for room to cool to 72F. Room was dirty, shower had mold, counter & sink were filthy.

    It's a perfectly decent place to stay. The food in the restaurant was just so-so. Gym was above average with older but useable equipment. The neighbourhood is definitely not designed for walking. There is a Whole Foods nearby but walking there is quite unpleasant having to cross several high speed busy roads where pedestrians are very much an afterthought.

    Excellent customer service at check-in. We were a walk-in after midnight and the front desk worker was very accomodating to find the cheapest rate in a king size room that wasn't ajoining, which the attendant paid special attention to find, without asking. Unfortunately I had waited too long (after midnight) to book on hotels.com which would have saved about $30 for one night. Upon entering the room, the bed was unmade and you could tell it hadn't been serviced since the last guest...no wash clothes and the soaps and lotions had been opened. The rest of the room was orderly. We were tired so we checked the sheets and crashed. They didn't appear soiled. We found some washcloths and hand towels outside of the pool/gym area on the top floor. The next day we booked on hotels.com at the better rate and paid $26 for breakfast for two. (The restaurant signs said $23/person for a buffet so we thought $26 for two was a good deal.) Leaving for the afternoon, we asked the front desk if the room could be serviced and mentioned it hadn't been upon entering the night before. They were very apologetic. They changed the sheets but did not provide new towels. We woke up late and were unable to take advantage of the prepaid breakfast buffet.
