Really enjoyed my stay.

MISSED NBA PLAYOFF. EVEN IN THE BAR BAR TENDER WAS POORLY DRESSED HAD UN PLUG TV AND FRIG TO PLUG IN COFFEE MAKER. SHUTTLE SERVICE WAS GREAT..

Room was a nice size and well equipped. It's a big hotel, so you may end up lugging your stuff a long way from the parking lot. When I got there there no luggage carts in the lobby. They did locate one shortly. The property is aging a bit and has some funky spots here and there, most likely things that most may not notice. The biggest disappointment (and reason for my not higher stars) was they have NO FREE BREAKFAST! They will however give a generous (apparently in their opinion) 15% discount in their restaurant. This place was at least $20-30 more per night than just as nice places near by that offer a great breakfast. I will be at those places in the future.

Great location! Pillows are not soft and are uncomfortable. I can hear vehicles passing by and kids running on the floor above at night while I was trying to go to sleep.

Finally- room was spacious for a quick stay but dirty and many small bugs/flies (i’m going to be nice and say that because we were on the bottom floor and surrounded by trees and greenery that this could’ve contributed to the issue). The bathroom was molded in several areas, the tub was peeling and looked very unkept. Popcorn ceilings. The elevator near our room/floor was broken so we had to go all the way around the property to the other elevator to get upstairs to our relatives. Several times the on-site restaurant was either closed outside of their normal hours or they would run out of food (not a buffet) and you were limited to what you could actually eat. Hotel maintenance/housekeeping were great!

All employees were friendly. Indian food in the lobby bar was delicious. The room was clean but a bit dated - slight “cigarette smoke of yesteryear” scent. Convenient to the airport with on demand shuttle.

Stayed for only one night, but the hotel was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Very close to the airport with a shuttle included. I would stay here again!

We have stated this property several times and it is affordable and close to the GSR. They also only charge $20 to bring a dog which is great. It is a little run down, but it's just fine for what we need.

We had a handicapped room that was far away from the entrance. Why not have those rooms closer? The shower had mold in the cracks. One side of the bed the mattress was lower that the other side, I almost rolled off. I will not be staying there again. On the plus side, the bartender was great. She was friendly and took care of her customers. The drinks were very reasonable.

This is the standard at most lodging. . .like keep the coffee going! No breakfast of any kind . Or perhaps i missed it.

This property was so convenient for us. The room had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. Our check in was easy and the staff was friendly.

Very nice Indian restaurant on-site, desk service was great, and the courtyard garden is lovely and serene. The pool was exceptionally clean.

I booked this hotel because it has a shuttle to the airport; however, the shuttle wasn’t working the morning I was going to the airport.

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Bathroom had some peeling wallpaper and discolored walls. Overall, was nice. We traveled with our small dog. They included a dog bed and snacks for our small dog. Although right next to the airport and a freeway. it was very quiet inside. Would stay at again.,

Across the street from the airport. Convenient. Rooms are a little dated but the mattress and pillows were spectacular. Spent a week at different resorts (Reno/Lake Tahoe) and this hotel had the best!

We’ve been staying in this hotel for 4 years on every Jam On It Tourney. The staff are very nice and friendly. Excellent customer service.

Nothing in particular. It was filthy outside with people drinking beer out of their trucks and then the beer cans were all over the sidewalks by a door in the morning. The mattress was AWFUL and I basically felt like we were sleeping upside down bc the mattress sunk down from the middle to the head of the bed.

Seemed clean enough but bottom sheet didn’t fit mattress & was coming off during the night. Sink water was hot or scalding so that may need to be adjusted. The shuttle driver was driving pretty fast & seemed a little annoyed about having to pick us up. Very loud jet woke us up in the morning but I guess that’s expected when you stay so close to the airport.

Very run down property, booked thru Expedia and there was a DOG BED in my room!! I'm allergic! Chose this location because of the parking on site that enabled me to park for a week and fly for cheap, would not stay here again even for the cheaper parking. They don't plow the parking area and I had to dig out my car when I returned! As for the parking, that was good, my car was not damaged or vandalized and the shuttle driver was nice, and prompt.

The property was clean I was just surprised that it was old and needed updating. The pictures made it look really good. It did match the pictures but without the shine. It was a clean and nice hotel, the staff was friendly.

They go above and beyond for pet owners, pet beds and treats in the room, grass area for potty. Staff was exceptional, friendly, and very helpful. Rooms where comfortable and spacious. Will stay again if we come through Reno.

We were disappointed with the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant. They barely spoke to us apart from taking our order. Dinner was good but the oatmeal at breakfast was disappointing. We’ve had far better on previous occasions.

The hotel is OK, but it is dated for $250/night. The elevator that the front desk sent us to post check-in was out of order, so we had to walk across the hotel with our bags to another elevator. The mattresses and bedding appear to be quite old. The hotel seemed clean on the surface, but since it hasn't been updated in a while, the carpets, beds, and pillows are likely embedded with stuff. The pool was closed, and no breakfast items were included with the stay. About the only upside was that the parking was free.

We were pulling a trailer and easy parking and access back onto the freeway. Room was pretty dated. But had dog biscuits and bed. Nice grass area for dogs. Would definitely stay again.

I have 1 leg and use a wheel chair when I travel walk in shower or a roll in shower makes life easy Sadly I could not use my chair in the bathroom, there was zero room to move around in the bathroom, could not close the door with the chair in the bathroom, could not use my chair to get into the shower, I could not use my chair get on the tolet because the door pretty much hits the toilet when its open.. I had to hop around like a rabbit to get into the shower (I didn't bring my shower leg because the room was a "roll in shower") , the shower floor was slick so if you have 1 leg and you use a chair as well, this motel may not be for you. I liked the room so I may stay there again in the future, I will just make sure to bring my shower leg

Great front desk staff upon arrive, check out and the shuttle. The location and free shuttle service to the airport was why I chose this hotel. My family has stayed there in the past. My expereince was not great. I HATE smell of marijuana throughout the hallways.yuck!! The rug in my room was awful. It had two distinct "wrinkles" perpindicular to each other that posed a significant tripping risk. The room felt "dirty", but the bathroom,sink area dn the microwave/fridge cart were very clean. I felt marginally safe in a quiet far from the lobby room at the back of the building. The ice machine was out of order, the TV/cable service was out of order. Becasue I was traveling alone, I would have appreciated knowing this or receiving a discount as all I could do is it in my room and scroll on my phone. I was afraid to use trhe wifi for fear of data breach. The shuttle driver ws very courteous, but the condition of the van was dirty and seat condition marginal (some tears), though the outside of the van was ingood shape. Overall, at this point, I liiley will not stay at this hotel for a while. We live about 30 miles from there and have used the facility in the past. I think it is not up to teh level it could be. I would be willing to pay more for a better kept, safer feeling facility. It is so convenient to the airport, but we likley will use the resortsand casinos in REno for a while until this place is updated.

Having the airport practically across the street from the airport is the biggest thing this hotel has going for it. It's certainly not anything fancy. You get what you pay for. It's older, slightly run down, but you can't beat it for the location and price.

Hard to get through to the front desk from my room. Waited for the shuttle for 45 mins. I called and was told the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. No one said that I had a call the shuttle service to tell them to come pick me up until after my second phone call 30 minutes later.

I dont remember seeing anything in the booking that stated I needed my physical debit card for the $100 deposit when I got to the hotel. I dont carry my cards on me I use Google wallet and apparently I couldnt use tap for that. Luckily my friend had his and I wasnt stranded after driving 3+ hrs

We paid $40 for breakfast and it was not good we didn't even eat it.

We stayed two nights. Our room with one king bed was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the little tree lined pathway from the lobby to the back of the building where our room was - we used this route instead of the indoor hallways. We had a lovely and delicious dinner at the hotel's Indian restaurant. We were driving, stayed at the hotel for a nearby event, so I can't comment on airport shuttle services.

The room had a sink counter that protruded too much and posed a safety risk, especially when using the restroom at night. The air conditioning did not work properly one night. In addition, the room was not clean—there was a moth in the bathroom and a vodka bottle beside the bed when we first entered. Due to these issues, I will not be booking a stay here again.

Location is OK They call it Pet friendly but there is almost no space for pets outside, furthermore you cannot go to the restaurant or have breakfast with your pet. Breakfast is not included, restaurant is not welcoming. Room was dirty, scrtches of dogs on the door, dirty curtains and carpet.

We ordered 3 hamburgers and chicken strips. We waited a hour for the food. We only received 2 hamburgers and one was on a hard dried up broken bagel. They ran out of buns. They said they wouldn’t charge for that one. But the hamburger patties were ice cold. Completely un edible. In my opinion on the whole meal, should’ve been free shorted us a burger waited an hour. Ice cold burgers tiny bits for fries. Anyway, we only paid for the chicken strips which were edible but not very good. We were hungry and we weren’t gonna wait another hour for another cold burger to come out. Anyway, I understand the hotel does not own the restaurant, but that was just a worse meal I’ve ever been served.

Room was clean. 1) It took 20 minutes to check in because they couldn't find our reservation. 2) When they finally checked us in, they sent us to a room already occupied. 3) The next morning after breakfast we came back and our room cards didn't work. 4) After being out all day when we came home at night the access card didn't work at the backdoor. 5) After fixing our access card, it again didn't work the next morning forcing me to walk all the way around the hotel and enter the front while trying to load my luggage back in the car. It was one problem after another. This is inexcusable.

I would never recommend this hotel. I is a cheap motel parading as a hotel. The bathroom had mold growing. There bedding, mattress, and pillows were terrible. The building had a bad smell in general. To top it all off, the price was high.

The elevator near my room was out of order, which required walking from one end of the building to the other to go down, then back to get to the car. Road in front of building under construction, so it was a little hard to find and access. Otherwise the location is central.

Wake up call button phone did not work. Called desk from my Iphone. On hold for 17 minutes. Finally walked to front desk and was told “we dont answer the phone when busy”. Hotel is convenient to airport but staff is unhelpful and there is always something wrong with the rooms.

I was there for 4 nights, and they only came and gave me Fresh Linen and towels the first day. The next 3 mornings no one showed up to clean my room

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, except for the occasional plane overhead but that is expected being directly across from the airport. There was an area of construction in the side parking lot and on the main street at the front of the building, but overall a good experiece at the hotel. The area is safe and there were no questionable passers by. The lobby is spacious and offers a nice area for working on laptops or sitting. I do recommend this hotel and will stay again when in the area.

It’s way too small for how many guests there are. We literally waited hours hoping two or three people would leave so we could finally get in, but people would just stay there forever and weren’t very considerate about others waiting. Out of our entire 6-day stay, we were only able to use it once, and even then it was overcrowded with kids splashing water, diving in, and getting water all over everyone. I really wish they had a bigger jacuzzi or at least a second one (maybe adults-only), because the current setup just doesn’t work for the number of people staying there. Only about 6 people fit at a time, which makes it almost impossible to enjoy.

My key card for the room quit working three times. The key card for the door quit working once. The restaurant was very disappointing. In that breakfast was only served two hours in the morning and apparently nobody was capable of making toast or scrambling eggs the rest of the day.

You can’t get much closer to the airport. You cut through a parking lot and you’re there. The property is quite rundown, and the bedding is from another era, but for a cheap hotel I got all I expected.

There was a major snowstorm so most of the staff did not show up, I do understand that was beyond their control. The shower in my room did not function the staff did not seem to care.

Room 310 had no chair for the table and no lounge chair and only four hangers available. The table was tilted also so unsatisfactory. I love to stay at Surestay, but this was the worst.

Indian cuisine was only option, and they were closed on a Monday afternoon/early evening. Heater cycled on and off throughout the night with temperature set to 63...hard to sleep! The air freshener was too powerful. I couldn’t sleep, has to keep the window open. Gasped for breath in the hallways. Even my dog had issue. The room was dine. Staff was helpful.

The air freshener was too powerful. I couldn’t sleep, has to keep the window open. Gasped for breath in the hallways. Even my dog had issue. The room was dine. Staff was helpful.

Microwave needed to be rebooted, fortunately staff assisted quickly so I could heat breakfast. Line to check in at 5:30 pm was 25 people deep with 2 staff working desk. Fortunately I went to dinner offsite and by 7:15 the line was minimal. I didn’t receive the card to enter the building from the exterior, so after parking near my room I needed to hike around the complex to ask why my room key didn’t work. Finally, I was surprised to hear barking dogs in an adjacent wing near the elevator. Thankfully, I had a good night sleep! All in all, a pretty good experience, but certainly opportunities to improve.

Check in was a nightmare. Stood just over an hour to get checked in. There were only two employees checking guests in with a crowded line about 100 ft. Long across the entire lobby. One family had five people at the front jeopardizing the employee trying to check them in for over 45 minutes. No manager support. It was Valentine’s Day, but very poor planning on the hotel management unable to handle the workload. There were two people that had been helped that came back because the key cards issued were not working. They returned to the desk and some waiting in line started cussing and telling them to go to the back of the line. I was prepared to call 911 if the situation became physical. BAD experience!

Room key only worked for one day. Needed to get keys reprogrammed daily. Front desk staff go back and forth debating why keys aren’t working. WiFi was very poor throughout the property. Research another place to stay. Sure wouldn’t stay here again.

Mixed bag. Great location if you need to be close to the airport. Sound proof overall with no sleep interruptions from flights. Firm bed but lacked comforting linens. Desperate need of a remodel. Staff was friendly. Evening shuttle drive was incredibly cranky, but our 4 am shuttle driver was lively, happy and had the best jazz music jammin'.

The room my husband and I stayed in had a bad odor, the bed was too firm and It was dirty. The furniture was so old and ripped, I don’t think it was hotel furniture, there was beat up recliner and chair. It was pretty bad. We will never stay there again.

Wifi simply did not work...could not maintain a connection. Room also a bit shabby., walls dirty and not patched...considering the price relative to other motels/hotels in Reno, this was unacceptable.

The room was fine, the staff was incredibly nice, even Oscar who had to help us get back into our room. Room service skipped cleaning our room completely on one day so we were out of towels, cups, coffee, and our trash cans were overflowing. We left the hotel early that morning and were gone until 8pm so there was no reason it shouldn't have been cleaned.

Positives- location to airport, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Cons- front desk guy no personality and said out loud to me my room number not even trying to be discrete. Clearly not trained well. Front desk 101 is you never say guest room number out loud to protect them. He did this with another guests later that I observed and I could clearly hear their room. The food in bar area was a big disappointment. Don't waste your money. The chicken breast on the chicken breast sandwich was the size of a couple chicken nuggets...not a full breast. Bartender was very nice though and comped me another baby chicken breast. Room was decent but very old. Carpets pulling up in several places from age. The gym had a bike and elliptical plus a handful of free weights. It was also very worn out. It was inexpensive option, but if I needed to stay more than one night would not stay there. If price is low for a 1 night business trip I would stay again, but its not a vacation spot at all.

The room was clean and fairly quiet. The hotel information guide was off-putting by listing all of the services they don’t have because they’re short staffed. The restaurant was Indian food only. The roof is obviously leaking because the sheetrock was damaged, moldy or missing in the lobby and hallways. There were buckets all over the lobby to catch rainwater. The shuttle was good, our driver had a lot to say about a coworker who he said was lazy.

The next morning, the poor communication continued. The front desk attendant waited roughly seven minutes before telling the shuttle driver I was waiting — something the driver confirmed. This delayed my departure and showed a clear lack of attention and professionalism. None of this is about one person having a bad day; it reflects weak management and training. At minimum, guests should be greeted with a smile, acknowledged promptly, and provided basic courtesy. The room was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired

I booked two rooms. You guys Expedia, didn’t sent both of the reservations over. Had to book the second reservation again. They charge me 13$ more. My card has been charged 4 times and I won’t see my refund for 1 to 2 weeks. Wrost website ever. Never going to book though Expedia again

We got in late and our phone rang but we couldn’t answer it so I used my cell to call the front desk where they said they were testing the phone!? I’ve worked in a hotel before so I know that flips take some time. However, if you only have a limited number of late check outs, then when guests ask the night before, you should take those requests then as opposed to in the morning. That way from staff to guests, everyone knows what’s happening in the morning.

The room was clean and the staff were great. The airport shuttle was punctual and the driver was a hoot. My only complaint was the smell of the room. They used some kind of perfume/air freshener that wrecked my allergies.

It was fine. I needed a place on short notice and the location was convenient enough. The hotel does look a little dated inside, but the room was nice enough. One of the elevators was out, which made it inconvenient for me given where my room was and one floor had some kind of roof issue that was blocking part of the hallway. Staff was nice though, but I wasn't able to take advantage of any ammenties on the property so can't comment on anything beyond my room and what I walked past.

Room and furniture needed an update, especially the handicapped shower. Couldn't get shower to work in the morning. Staff said they were finicky and you had to pull out really hard on knob. We had pulled as hard as we could without fear of breaking it. The shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent.

The photos showed a very modern lobby, and that was the only part that was updated. The room we had definitely was not updated, looked like it came out of the 70's with the old furnishings and carpet.

My husband and I have stayed here several times before when in Reno, but I felt that the quality has gone down. Despite being a “non-smoking” hotel, our room smelled like cigarettes. Also, the restaurant off the lobby is now an Indian food restaurant, and we found the curry smell downstairs to be off-putting. They also seem to be sparsely staffed - when I tried to buy a cup of coffee downstairs in the morning, I could not find anyone in the vicinity of the restaurant for quite a while. Overall, it just seems like this hotel needs some upgrades to their property conditions, and to provide a better level of customer experience and service.

I walked into my room and was instantly overwhelmed by the stench of cigarette smoke. The windows had clearly been left open in a half-hearted attempt to “air it out,” but the smell was unbearable. When I asked for a different room, I was told there were no other pet-friendly rooms available—yet I had to pay extra fees for my dogs, who are far cleaner than the last guest. The odor gave me a pounding headache, and all of my belongings now reek of smoke. The fact that management would knowingly assign such a disgusting room, charge additional fees, and then refuse to offer a solution is nothing short of outrageous

The room was nice but the hallways need to be updated. The lady’s in the office are very rude and made it seem like we were bothering them. Let’s not talk about the security guard harassing us about if we were smoking! Keep in mind there was other tenants outside smoking and I was just having a drink outside our balcony, he kept flashing his flashlight at our faces after we told him it wasn’t us who was smoking. Then he left and 30 minutes later he did the same thing and after telling him to stop flashing our faces with the flashlight because my husband has seizures he didn’t care and kept going. I will NEVER spend a night at this place. Not worth the $900 I paid!!!!

This is a very nice hotel for the price and very close to the airport. Lobby area has lots of seating. Our room was spacious, well lit, bathroom was clean, and bed was comfortable. Check-in clerk was friendly. The Indian restaurant “Lemon Lime” in the hotel was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

We are in the back of the building and you can definitely hear the freeway noise, even with the a/c on. Not terrible, but definitely noticable.

Everything was good. I did however, one night, have a cockroach crawling on my arm. I couldn't sleep well after. No sigtings any other night.

Really nice hotel. Spacious and really clean rooms. So kind that they leave a dog bed in the room for pets, plus dog treats. My only complaint is that the cleaning people are extremely loud in the hallways early in the morning.

The property was very convenient as it is right next to the airport, but I did feel the room was very dated. However I felt the property was safe and fulfilled my need for a place to stay near the airport as I arrived quite late in the evening and needed a place to stay before driving to my destination in the morning.

It’s literally a less-than-10-minute walk to the airport. It’s a bit older but it’s decent for anyone who just needs a place to get some sleep before catching a flight.

This is a pretty old and dingy looking hotel. Upon check-in, the clerk sent us down the wrong hallway to the room. When we finally found it, the key cards wouldn't open the door. We got new keys only to discover the room smelled like an ashtray. Back to the desk for a new room, which didn't smell and was reasonably comfortable. The bed linens were old enough that it made you wonder whether or not they were actually clean. On the bright side, the airport shuttle was available on demand before dawn and only took a few minutes to get there for our early flight. Would not stay here again.

I would not stay here again. It was cold and old. The phone didn’t work and the coffee maker didn’t work. The front desk attendant seemed like a nice guy but he didn’t really want to help me. I asked for a room next to the elevator and he gave me a room at the furthest part of the building. I told him I was leaving because the room was too far. Then he gave me a room closer to the elevator.

You can tell it’s an older hotel but it looks like the owner is trying to update the rooms. A little peeling wallpaper and some loose grout but the bed and the other amenities were just fine. Given the price point, it is a very good deal. I’ve used them in the past and will again.

Broken elavator

It is very quiet and comfortable. There was an elevator out of service in our wing but just a little bit more of a walk to the room; really no big deal. There aren't any really close restaurants (they have an Indian cuisine one in the hotel) but freeway access is close and eating places are within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

The SureStay Plus Hotel is clean, quiet, and very handy to the airport. We were able to turn in our rental car a day early because of its proximity to the airport!

Arrived to find pool and other facilities closed and sheets on top of all the lobby furniture. Apparently the hotel was expecting Burning Man refugees that would be coming in covered in desert dirt so they closed all of the facilites, amenities and restaurants. And the complimentary shuttle can to the airport was broken down and unavailable. No warning when we called the night before to book and no consideration given for the inconvenience and lack of promised features.

Let's just say not at I expected. I always thought Best Westerns were a good value and a decent stay. They are no better than a Motel 6 these days.

On my first night in the room the cable television didn’t work. I called the front desk and was told a maintenance man would come take a look at it. After 40 minutes of waiting I called back down to the desk and was told he had come to my room and knocked but no one answered. That wasn’t true. I had been waiting the entire time. The desk woman wasn’t helpful and didn’t offer any other means of help.
