I definitely love this resort. The only thing could that could be better is the pricing for the rooms because two nights for more than $400. I think is a bit much especially if you’re spending money gambling at their resort & buying all food there!
- 5/5
We had a great time, we were there to see Brit Floyd! The self check in was so quick and easy, thank goodness, because the other line was so long. We were in the older tower, but it was so clean, comfy, great frig, comfy bed, the adjoining room you could hear everything, but that is part of it. The resort fee is pretty steep, especially being a local, and that is the only con. Went to dinner at Rim, and it was fantastic, and the show outstanding
- 5/5
the outdoor pool was large, and the surrounding area including the spas and bar appeared as it does online except the water was very foggy. We've stayed at many resorts with a lot of people using the pool including children and the water was blue and clear so that was a huge turn off. The adult pool (21 and over) was a little better. The DJ was great oh and the cocktails were really great! Keep drinking and you won't be bothered by the leftover drinks floating in the pool and trash on the edges overlooking the larger pool and spas. : ) We had a standard king size bed, the room was esthetically pleasing and clean.

I stay at this resort often. The rooms are comfortable, there are many choices of restaurants and often great entertainment.

We just stayed 1 night because we had an early morning flight and wanted to save on driving time. The room was newly remodeled, quiet, and spacious. I like how it had a nice sized room refrigerator. The shower was great. The only surprise we had was we had an additional $50 service fee on our bill when we checked out via scanning the code in our room. We were on our way to the airport so no time to inquire at the front desk.
- 4/5
The housekeeping was not what I expected, we had to call to get our room to be cleaned.

WE LOVE THE GRAND SIERRA RESORT. Our issue this trip was the noise from band until 10:30 at night. Also, the alarm went off at 5 a.m. we evacuated. As we are evacuating we asked the staff what is happening, is it a fake alarm. THE STAFF HAD NO CLUE. This is very dangerous not just for guest but your staff. A lady had a newborn baby and was terrified. I was too for her especially. Please make sure everyone is aware of the fire alarm evacuation rules. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay. God bless you all abundantly!

Very fun.Bed are very comfortable and the pillows are a must have.I have already ordered some. If you don't mind Lot's of people and the high volume. Must try.

Have stayed at GSR many times. Generally the day B4 a flight out of RNO. In the past they allowed FREE overnight night parking for 7-10 days. Not any more, had to use RNO parking $18/day. Next time I will search the other casinos B4 I go back to the GSR.

Hotel check in was easy. Front desk got our info then got us checked in. Room was nice no complaints and room service was excellent
- 3/5
The room was quiet, clean and the shower was great. We were there because our son was in the hospital and were told we would get a discount. We did not need any of the amenities. We were barely there. We liked the proximity. The cost of $630 dollars was way too much
- 5/5
Great staff, quick check in and check out. Rooms were clean
- 5/5
Stayed over after a concert in the theater. Made for a super evening.
- 5/5
The hotel lobby is very clean and effecient. Check in was brief and our room was very nice and clean.
- 3/5
The room was nice and clean. But it took quite a long time to check in (nearly 30 minutes standing in line) and was very confusing to park and get up to the room. We ended up having to valet the car and then were hassled by security on our way up to the room. Not a great experience, but we got in late and were leaving mid morning the next day, so we just powered through. It made for a stressful night and we were glad it was a quick stop. The next day I got an email that they charged me an extra $50 for “resort fees” and gratuity for housekeeping that I was not made aware of prior. (We didn’t even use housekeeping or ask for anything). The room was nice, but quite literally everything else was an ordeal.

All the activities available for all ages We were charged for room service because we asked for it, it wasn’t something they do daily. Also, they had a night time pool party, which was great, however, they didn’t warn us that the music would be loud all night in our room. Having a son on the spectrum, it would have been nice if we were warned in advance
- 5/5
I need to have better signage for their valet as it is not very evident of where you need to go
- 5/5
Nice to have a hotel that also is a casino.
- 4/5
Check in line was very long!
- 1/5
By the time we settled in it was 130 AM.

Before booking, I called to confirm that a crib, microwave, and refrigerator with a freezer would be available for my 3-month-old baby. This was my first trip traveling with an infant, so I wanted to make sure everything we needed would be provided. Check-in was smooth, and I will say the hotel and casino were clean and beautiful. However, upon arrival, the refrigerator was not working, appeared to be more of a wine cooler, and there was no microwave. Guest services responded quickly, replaced the fridge, and provided a microwave after initially telling me it would cost $30 per day. The bigger issues came afterward. During our stay, only one elevator in our tower was working. More concerning, $100 was stolen from our room. What made it seem especially blatant was that the pockets of jackets in our room had been turned inside out, making it obvious someone had gone through our belongings. To top it off, we were woken up by a fire drill at 6:00 a.m. I expected traveling with a 3-month-old to be the most stressful part of this trip, but unfortunately the hotel was. Between the missing amenities, elevator issues, apparent theft, and early-morning fire drill, I would not stay here again.

Resort was really nice and well kept. Room was perfect size for us. All food places within resort were great and fairly priced. Bowling alley, pool and and bars all had great vibes. Valet service was on point and it was teally nice to be in the know of what activities were going on at the resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the GSR.

Expedia says that their price includes all fees. However the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) charged me a mandatory resort fee that added another 50% on top of what I had already paid to Expedia. The resort fee is for pool use and exercise room use etc. I looked at the Expedia site, and there is nothing clearly documenting the resort fee. While I understood that the hotel deal did not include fees for extra services like room service, I expected the Expedia payment to include all mandatory fees. I think the added resort fee is very unfair and underhanded. Such a surprise fee is not something I think a that reputable business would spring upon their customer. I only used the pool on one day. I did use the bowling alley, driving range, casino and restaurants for which all had their own separate fees (for which I of course paid without complaint before partaking of those services).
- 3/5
Noisy fridge, dodgy electricity. Missed cleaning service one day. And never came up with coffee even after a call for refill
- 5/5
Mattress was very uncomfortable. There was hair on floor In bathroom. Other then that it was a great place to stay.
- 5/5
The restaurants were good, the staff were helpful, the room was clean, the casino was lively and had a lot of slots and games to have fun and enjoy yourself. Also the driving range was a blast and the bowling alley. If you want to test your escaping skills you can test them in their escape room.

They gave us a room somebody was already in. We were happy they gave us a free upgrade and food credit. But it was a akward being in someones room calling front desk to see what the heck was going on.

It was an amazing Place, we will be back.

Plus side, the room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly.

Items broken in the room. For the price it was acceptable. The steak house restaurant was pricy but good food/well prepared
- 5/5
Great day, room was clean and there’s tons of amenities. It’s also a perk that it was close to the Reno airport since we were picking up several of our friends. Would definitely stay here again.

Room clean and the house keeping staff friendly! Every interaction with staff was positive and resulted in excellent service by each of them.

they have a magic show! we didn't learn this until we got there. we got tickets for the sunday show. the crowd was small and a little apprehensive, but the show itself was excellent. we've stayed at the GSR a few times. while some things are a bit dated, like the golf stations outside and the arcade downstairs, everything is in working order. im curious about the hockey related construction happening outside. it affected parking a bit. they have ample food options here.

Starbucks in the hotel The air conditioner was not working properly - it would not go below 71* when it was 100*. The staff was notified and the maintenance person was less than friendly. Although the air was subsequently corrected, the rudeness of staff remained. Also, the only real light in the bathroom was a heat lamp; thus adding to the uncomfortableness of the room.

Nice Hotel. Lot's of things to do but know this you will not be within walking distance of anything else!! The prices were over the top. Even Starbucks in the hotel lobby was ridiculous, $10.65 for what normally would be a $5.65 drink. You can't bring even fresh fruit to the pool. They want you to buy their overpriced food and drinks. Save yourself some money and stay on the strip. It will be cheaper and you will have many choices for a good meal for way less. They have you over a barrel at GSR. Also, I have NEVER had to wait as long as we did just to get on an elevator. Ridiculous! I won't go back.

Our first room was not ready when we were sent up so we waited in the hallway the room was not vacuumed or very clean, after discovering how noisy the room was we asked to be moved. The next room was dirty there was a bag over the smoke detector and the tv wasn’t working also we were hoping to use the pool and hot tub but couldn’t because there was a reggae band event going on there. Parking was awful we walked over half a mile to the hotel we were going to use valet but the wait was ridiculous.
- 3/5
The pillows were awful. About the worst pillows I have ever used
- 5/5

Beds are very comfortable and the room and bathroom were gorgeous. The pool closed too early for us to enjoy as we drove in from Las Vegas. Looks great.
- 5/5
The property had everything. Restaurants, pool, arcade, coffee shops.
- 5/5
GSR is the best spot for everything you want to do in Reno
- 5/5
Nice sized room with large bathroom. Only complaint is no bar or seat in the shower. Clean facility with good restaurants. The Happy Hour at Charlie Palmers was disappointing. We haven’t been there for a couple of years and the menu is drastically reduced. Food was decent and 1/2 price off food and drink was great! More options would be nice to have. Would stay again.
- 2/5
While we were there, majority of the time it was raining, but when the sun did come out, we were able to swim in the upper infinity pool. However, the staff were not very accommodating with the situation of rain and a manager told us we had to move because we didn’t pay for those seats, but the larger pool was closed and we were told to go to the infinity pool area. as we were moving, one staff was helpful and told us that certain seats were available to us if we didn’t want to pay.
- 2/5
There was a bottle of alcohol and some other garbage left in the room
- 4/5
Ask for no smoking room that was closer to elevators and they accomodated.

First time staying here and upgrading our room. Clean room lovely staff. Will come back again.
- 3/5
Room was large and clean. Shower had some hairs in it from last visitor.
- 3/5
We have stayed at the Grand Sierra several times. It works for us if we have an early flight the next day. We tried to check in around 10 pm & it took 20 MINUTES when there were only 2 people ahead of us. Worse, one of the front desk agents took the people behind us which was unfair to everyone in line. At this time of night, on a weekday, check in should be much quicker-- especially when people want to get to bed before a very early flight.

- 5/5
My room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly, I called to ask for someone to clean and they took care of it quickly. Staff were polite and helped when I had questions. Room was large, air conditioner worked great and noise level was super low in room. Was perfect. Definitely planning on retiring and lived that they had a Fat Tuesdays!
- 4/5
Liked all the family friendly activities. Not liked inebriated hotel guests in elevator and hallways.
- 5/5
Everything is great!
- 5/5
Our stay was very good; slight “hiccup” on room assignment; but was taken care of and appreciated. Staff went above and beyond expectations. Room was clean, had shampoo, conditioner and lotion in bathroom area. Quiet area. Even while construction is going on; still very quiet. Love the fact that air filtration limits smoking smells due to allergies. Seldom have issues and one key reason for rebooking when traveling in area.
- 4/5
The larger pool is closed until June 5th. The infinity pool is much smaller cramped and a little dirty and is only open until 7 pm. Love the escape room and sensology. Great food.
- 5/5
This wasn’t my first visit to the Grand Sierra Resort, and the consistently outstanding service is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, the amenities are top-notch, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel valued and cared for. The resort also offers a convenient shuttle service between the airport and the hotel, and its location close to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport makes arriving and departing even more hassle-free. There’s no shortage of things to do at the resort, whether you’re relaxing by the pool, working out in the fitness center, enjoying one of the many dining options, or spending time at the golf driving range. I highly recommend the Grand Sierra Resort to anyone visiting Reno. Whether you’re traveling for business, a weekend getaway, or a special event, the resort offers something for everyone. I’ve always enjoyed my stays here and look forward to returning again in the future!

Stayed in an updated suite room. Vety quiet and comfortable. Excellent mountain view of the Sierra mountains.
- 5/5
Very nice , room was spacious and staff was friendly
- 1/5
The hotel room was dirty ! Hotel service was very poor. And a security guard put her hands on my 11year old son on the back and told him there is a dress code and he could not wear what he had on. I immediately spoke to a Hotel manager nothing was resolved at this point.
- 4/5
It’s good if you want to gamble but otherwise nothing too special right around the area.
- 5/5
I love everything about this property but it was a little surprising that our room was never cleaned and we had to call for towels because housekeeping never showed up. We also had a lot of garbage they didn’t pick up. Other than that it was a nice hotel and the staff was friendly.
- 4/5
The bathroom wallpaper was peeling a little. An extra blanket in room and a shower cap would have been nice. Also, we could hear our neighbors a,little. We did enjoy our stay and everything was clean.

My room was very noisy even on a Mon night
- 1/5
The outside concerts should be mentioned when given a room next to them.
- 1/5
I didn’t get the adjoining rooms I was promised, and I didn’t even get to go into my second room until 7pm when check in was at 3pm. I booked this two months in advance and called to confirm one month in advance. Then they tried to charge me three times for two rooms. The room I was in was not in great condition, with the furniture being broken in spots on the drawers and cabinets. Will not be booking again.
- 4/5
Very noticeable presence of security all around due to the shooting that occurred there a month or two ago. The pool was enjoyable good food options with the restaurants and the venue for a concert was fun.
- 3/5
Room not ready Said would text when ready never did. Had to go back and get the key and wait in line a second time for abought 45 min
- 3/5
My stay at the GSR was okay. There were some minor things about the cleanliness of the room to make me raise an eyebrow. There was an empty juice bottle and tea bag left on the nightstand. Hair on the bathroom counter. One of the drinking glasses looked like it had been used. Nothing terrible but just makes me question the overall cleanliness. The casino could use some of that money they're making to buy new decorative pillows. The existing pillows look old and used. They could also sound proof the rooms a bit better. You can hear conversations and laughter as if the people were in your room and not outside the door. On a good note, the Mexican restaurant Uno Mas has amazing food. I'd stay there again.
- 5/5
Perfect in maybe different ways
- 5/5
Efficient check in and out procedures - friendly staff throughout the casino floor - great dining (especially Charlie Palmer’s) - Starbucks on site - secure elevators to rooms - many slots options.
- 5/5
Top to bottom it was all first rate. A Grand experience.
- 3/5
The room was average, and I had an upgrade. The sheets on the bed didn't fit, and looking at a dirty mattress gave me the ick.
- 4/5
Casino was nice
- 3/5
Room was clean but worn on the 6th floor. Other rooms I have stayed in have been better. Staffing at the Asian restaurant was very slow. Sat down for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Check in and out were good and gym was clean and updated. Valet was prompt. Overall good place, but second time I have been in a month where the staff at bar/restaurant were very slow. Busy is fine, but good to get recognized and let the customer know that they see them.
- 3/5
Old mattress, all pillows ale very LARGE, carpet needs cleaning
- 3/5
First time staying at this resort.Went to a concert the sound in the concert Arena was horrible. The sound was a kin to a karaoke bar. The properties aging not my favorite stay in Reno. On a bright side it looks like they are renovating it now
- 5/5
Pool closed at 6pm on the day we arrived. That was a bummer. Other than that, it was great.
- 1/5
Avoid this hotel. Zero "concerns" given about any issues that arise. There were a group of children playing football in the hallway from 8:00 p.m. till 2:00 a.m. . I was forced to call security for separate times, and absolutely nothing was done about it... Oh except for the offer at 1:30 a.m. for me to pick up everything from my room and move to a different room. Laughable!!!
- 5/5
Very nice casino and helpful staffs.
- 3/5
Maybe I expected too much, but I really would have appreciated room service and an ice machine. We really don't appreciate the new trend of having very small refrigerators that don't actually get cold enough and don't have a freezer!! There was hair that wasn't ours in the bathroom and on the counter in the room. For a hotel that wants to be considered upscale, the toilet paper was low rent. Single ply. Really?? The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows were nice. We did like that the coffee cups were porcelain and not paper. :) It's a good place to stay if you are seeing a show, nice to not have to drive anywhere afterwards. We slept well enough.
- 3/5
I stayed in the newly remodeled tower. There was hair in our sink, broken glass on the floor and blood and stains on the settee. Disgusting. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Valet and Bell staff very speedy and courteous. Enjoyed the Lucy Darling show.
- 4/5
Great stay…..nice staff….we’ll return !
- 4/5
I really enjoyed the spa area it was very nice. The pool can use some cleaning on the chairs, but I know it was a busy weekend and would hope its not like that often.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and great spa!
- 3/5
He stay was fine but far more expensive than it was worth. It's a crowded place, lines are often long for checking in, food and getting into the pool area. We only stayed so my son could be with friends who already booked there. They are teens and mostly just walked around. I still cant get over the fact that people are allowed to smoke Indoors so much of the hotel smells faintly of cigarettes masked with air freshener. Parking gets tight and we had to walk pretty far most days to get to and load up the car. I wouldn't stay again for the cost.
- 3/5
Very noisy if you face the pool - concert every friday night, impossible to sleep before 11. We stayed there for a basketball tournament. So many boys running in halls late, very loud and hard to sleep. And I always forget how bad the smoke can get in casinos. Lots to do there, fun bowling alley, good restaurants, convenient to have Starbucks in the lobby. But next time somewhere quiet for us.

Thanks Asia Jenkins

When we check in they said we cannot get 2 queen beds room that we booked because they sold out the room. We made reservations, a year before our trip and they said our reservation is not guaranteed because we booked it through expedia. They gave us a queen beds room for 4 people in a room. The shower didn’t come out on the shower head but on the open pipe from the wall. Very disappointed with a great name of this hotel.

Very busy place with a very long wait to check in. Food at the Grand Cafe was just ok. Room was very nice. Staff was great and very friendly. The Grand Theater was a really nice venue. Definitely recommend seeing a show there.

Parking isn’t great. Pool closes at 7pm. Wish pool was heated. Buffet was really good.

Thanks. Breakfast is subpar. Staff were ok. Receptionist sleeping

Additional parking is in rear had to walk over 1/4 mile just to check in. Poor signage as to where to go. Was traveling with son and wife who are military and relocating to Florida. We arrive after 11pm, had to wait 20 minutes to get our room, no room service or eateries open. Staff was no accommodating or helpful. The hotel and area is renovating so getting around was horrible. No shuttle from parking lot or easy access to get to main desk. No signs. Rooms clean but for price and resort fees I expect better.

We stayed in the Vista Tower. Very clean, updated, minimal smoke smell, well lit hallways and stocked room. Can’t wait to plan another stay! Overall enjoyed our one night stay.

The Moxy at the El Dorado was far better. We went for a couple of drinks at the bar. My kettle one martini tasted like it was half olive juice. And the kettle one cosmo was not good either.
- 5/5
Grand Sierra Resort and Casino provided an excellent stay for us. We only stayed one night passing through Reno but it was an enjoyable experience. No self parking fees (valet is also available for a fee). Tons of dining options available, a General Store for anything you may need, the price point of this property was excellent for a large room with an updated stall shower (no tub / shower combo which is always disappointing to see as it screams not updated), refrigerator, coffee maker, blow dryer, and great sizable shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion which is no longer available in many other hotels. The Casino is friendly, clean, and we even won a bit of money! We will be back and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else when in Reno.
- 5/5
Clean, great staff
- 5/5
The hotel is very well maintained and us clean. The housekeeping service is only on request, so dont forget to call. The only criticism is that it is a long way to the room from the parking area and there are no luggage carts to assist you. If you cannot make a long walk multiple times, this is not the place for you...
- 5/5
Very high standard.

Steak house reservations for 12 was a nightmare, didn’t book! Hotel luggage guy mixed ours with someone else. Hotel security desk guy wasn’t funny but he thought he was. Room was nice . Property was nice . Probably won’t go back !

. I stayed in a King Vista room, and the room itself was basically mid-range hotel okay: clean enough, functional, easy check-in/check-out, and nothing catastrophic. But the sleep situation was rough. For a resort hotel, the mattress and bedding were shockingly bad: hard, lumpy mattress, stiff scratchy sheets, and flat pillows. No turndown service either, and the extra blankets felt like they were sourced from a FEMA camp. The pool area is nice, but the shade situation is absurd. This is Reno, in full desert sun, and there’s almost no natural shade around a very child-heavy pool. If you want an umbrella, you’re looking at a $40 rental, which feels less like a resort amenity and more like a heat-stroke surcharge. That said, the pool bar was solid. The servers were very friendly, and the drinks were perfectly decent. Where GSR does well is the sheer amount of stuff on property. The “mall” area is huge, with an arcade and a genuinely nice bowling alley. The restaurants were better than expected. The Grand Buffet was the standout and actually felt worth the $50 price tag. The sports bar in the casino also had a surprisingly great lobster roll. I’m not much of a gambler, so I can’t really speak to the casino floor in detail, but it looked nice, stayed busy, and seemed active 24/7. Overall, GSR has plenty to do, easy logistic

Great choice to stay
- 4/5
Hotel is clean, not smoky, rooms are clean, there was construction outside the property, but didn’t hear it during the day or evening, just parking was a bit crazy.
- 1/5
We were referred there by the hospital where my brother is an oncology patient. They wouldn’t give us the hospital discount because I had booked through a third party for a cheaper rate, but we’re happy to add on more charges. After being at the hospital all day we came back late to a room that hadn’t been serviced, so I called for clean towels and was told I had to request service or I wouldn’t get any. I have never been to a hotel where you had to request service and I’ve been to a lot of hotels, you just put used towels on the floor and they take them and give you clean ones. When they brought us clean towels they didn’t even offer to take the used one away. Worst service I’ve ever seen and I paid for room service that was an additional fee. I had much harder things to worry about than them doing their job. I hope I never have to use them again.
- 5/5
We stayed the weekend with our kids. You don’t need to leave the property! It has everything. It’s almost like it’s own small city. The rooms were large and clean. They text you when you check in and it was super convenient to be able to text back with any needs. We needed extra sheets and blankets for the pull out and they were there in less than 10 minutes!
- 4/5
Neat clean and room was nicely remodeled.

Dated but good
- 5/5
All good .
- 5/5
Great Hotel and Resort with full of activities.
- 5/5
The first day at check in there was a huge wet spot by the coach and we noticed the coach legs were broken as well. Reported it Housekeeping Mgt. of our concerns. Called Housekeeping the 2nd day for cleaning service and clean towels but no one came.
- 5/5
I didn't go to the pool or spa
- 1/5
We went to cash in our tickets and the first 8 redemption machines were out of service. Seems like a ploy to get you to just gamble it instead out of frustration. Also if you want a drip coffee it’s $10. Also we ate at the restaurant super late. Was only a few people in the cafe. We had to wait over an hour for our food.
- 3/5
The size of the room was amazing - but it had a horrible musty smell. We probably would not stay again. The valet was complimentary but the line was so long, we did not end up using it.
- 5/5
Very nice and sleek hotel. Wait staff very professional and courteous and good food/gaming options available.
- 4/5
Great for a Casino
- 5/5
Nice rooms
- 5/5
We found a lot of hair and makeup on our sheets and pillow cases before going to bed, but the customer service line helped right away with fresh lignins. People were fighting in the halls on the 19th floor. I called customer service and they responded right away to defuse the incident.
- 4/5
Very expensive and no need for resort fees
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Allot of walking. Best parking on the back side buy water golf. But allot of walking involved to get around the casino and look at everything there. Allot to see and do.
- 5/5
We did not go to the pool
- 3/5
We were there three nights and only had our room serviced once. We had to reuse some towels twice. We were not happy about that.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Shower could be better and more hot water. Need a microwave.
- 4/5
Got in at 11:30 pm. There were 25 people in line. Took over 20 min to check in. Very tired
- 5/5
it was our anniversary. We had a really good time at this resort. We really enjoyed the pool arcade and bowling. It’s great that they have everything inside the resort it felt like a mini Vegas experience.
- 2/5
However, I was very disappointed to discover at checkout that there were over $50 per day in additional “Resort” and “Housekeeping” fees added to my bill — especially since I did not even use housekeeping services during my stay. While these fees may have been disclosed somewhere during the reservation process, they were not made clear enough upfront. Hidden or poorly disclosed charges leave a negative impression and take away from an otherwise positive experience. Greater transparency regarding these mandatory fees before booking would be greatly appreciated.
- 3/5
Housekeeping never came during day. Took 45 minutes to get clean towers
- 5/5
😊

Must stay here was absolutely amazing the staff was friendly the restaurants were well staff the service is excellent we ate at the steakhouse and all of the staff were extremely helpful the food is amazing I would definitely recommend this day I would definitely stay again

Didn’t have good options for breakfast
- 5/5
There was so much to do, a great variety of restaurants, and the pool was the best. There was a separate area for adults, the infinity pool was heated, and there were 4 hot tubs.
- 4/5
We didn’t use it as it didn’t open until 11 am.
- 2/5
El cuarto tenía mucho polvo necesitan limpiar bien
- 5/5
Regretted having to leave
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The only negative was the 'room safe' did not work. The day after arriving we were sent a request asking if everything was fine. We replied the 'room safe' did not work. I believe we were informed someone would come to take care of it, but that never happened. No problem, we made adjustments. Everything else was very good. Thank you

Even though I had a paid reservation they did not have a room available. They offered me a smoking room with a 50.00 discount. Room smelled horrible and I have not seen a 50.00 credit to my card.

Had everything you could think of
- 5/5
Awesome stay
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Staff was friendly and the amenities were awesome!
- 5/5
The rooms at the Grand Sierra are always clean and comfortable. Great resort!
- 5/5
Exceeded expectations! I’d stay there again! Good shopping and food venues.
- 5/5
The light was too dim. The bed was making noise. The bathroom was kind of dirty.
- 4/5
did not used any of it
- 5/5
INCREDIBLE!!
- 5/5
Wonderful resort
- 5/5
great staff, very clean and variety of eating spots
- 4/5
Check-in was a nightmare. Not enough staff to accommodate patrons. 38 minutes is unacceptable even for a Friday…
- 4/5
Didn’t go to the spa
- 5/5
The construction around the hotel was a little bit, inconvenient when it comes to the parking I like that room was updated. Dad definitely make this trip more enjoyable. I'll be back.
- 4/5
Room clean. Staff was nice and helpful.
- 5/5
I really appreciated Nanette in reservations she was so kind and helpful. Our family had experienced a fire, and she made our birthday celebration still happen. All of the staff at check in were extremely polite and friendly. Just very grateful for all the people at GSR.
- 4/5
Room was very clean, quite during the evening, staff was very well knowledge and provided best available accommodations.
- 3/5
HVAC in the room was not working properly
- 5/5
Great room. Beautiful pool and hot tubs. Lots to do.

- 5/5
Great room, clean and nice.
- 3/5
Sierra tower deluxe king room was spacious and included a twin sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa had springs sticking out the side. Room definitely could have been cleaner, but it met a minimum standard. Hotel staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Stayed for a volleyball tournament. Considering how busy it was, the hotel handled everything well. Would stay again.
- 5/5
excellent hotel, had everything my wife, my son, and I needed all under the same roof.
- 5/5
Toilet seat was not fully cleaned and there was trash behind the tv stand. I understand the construction causes impacts so it was a bit tough to get in and out.

- 4/5
Check in was easy as well as check out. Rooms could have been cleaner there was dust and some dirt on the walls and ceiling I wouldn’t stay here for a vacation but for a night after a concert I might again. Room service was nice
- 5/5
Whenever we go to Reno, whether it’s for a sports tournament, a concert or just to get away, we always stay at GSR! The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. I’ve never had a negative experience while staying there and honestly you never need to leave the property for anything it’s all right there!
- 5/5
best hotel / Casino in Reno
- 4/5
Room was clean. Nice bathroom amenities. The cleaning staff was super friendly and willing to give extra water and coffee upon request. The front desk is busy at times and the self check in kiosks are a little confusing. They have a pool, it looked nice and they include it in the resort fee, but it was way too cold to use that. The resort fee also covers valet parking, even though they still require a tip. IMHO, that should be a thing that should be asked about. Bowling and fun center right in the resort, gambling as well. They also have some places to eat, as well as a spa I guess (didn’t use it), and even has a tattoo parlor.
- 5/5
We did not use the pool or spa this trip.
- 5/5
It's my first time back since 2 years ago and it looks like they've renovated the rooms (at least in the Vista Tower). My kid says it's her favorite hotel, and understandably so. Lots of things to do for the kid including a nice pool, bowling, Escape Room, arcade, virtual reality. also has a golf range, several eating places. and free parking. looks like they are doing some major construction on new buildings as well
- 5/5
Great stay every time
- 1/5
Worst experience I’ve had at a hotel and I paid a lot to stay here for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. $1100 for two night and we had a pre stained pull out and a broken sink that they didn’t see to care about so it flooded and ruined all my make that was on the counter in the bathroom. They were rude when I asked to switch rooms. The man Jonah was beyond rude and lied multiple times and eventually stopped answering our room phone so I called off my cell and got through right away. I still haven’t heard back to be compensated for what was ruined. They tried to charge us more for a cot since the pull out was pee stained. Do not stay here they do not care if it’s their fault they make you feel like the problem for wanting simple working bathroom and not urine stains all over a bed
- 5/5
Clean, staff were great
- 5/5
Perfect! I’ll be back…
- 3/5
Rooms are nice but not sound proof. We could hear every person walking through the hallways early morning and house keeping cleaning the rooms
- 1/5
I love coming to the GSR and have been coming for many years. But this is the first time I have stayed in the Vista tower and it just wasn’t a good experience. The room had a lot of noise coming from above. That sounded like laundry was running water and then sometimes it sounded like somebody was running a vacuum above us. It was a constant noise that did not stop or go away. I tried to complain. they did nothing. The staff at the front desk was not that friendly and made me feel as if I was making it up.
- 5/5
100% recomendado muy limpio exelente servicio muy buen buffet con precio muy accesible, exelente ambiente para los niños y precio rasonable 5estrellas
- 2/5
Be careful when you choose to do mobile checkout they will charge you an additional 50.00 of hotel fees when you already paid the 100.00 fee at check in. They say you get reimbursed for the 50.00 deposit but if I chose to checkout through text messages I would have been charged an additional 50 dollars for a total of 150 dollars. Also our room wasn’t clean all the way, two plugs didn’t work, no fan in the bathroom and the faucets for hot and cold were on opposite sides. Also the food at their cafe inside was awful we had to send back my chicken tenders because the chicken was so tough and hard to chew. My husbands prime rib was so dry he didn’t even finish it. Overall I wouldn’t stay there again. However I would go watch another concert the concert venue was about the only decent thing.
- 5/5
Check-in staff was great. Beautiful and clean rooms. Comfy bed. Loved the sierra tower suite with 2 bathrooms! Came for a concert at the theater and had a great time staff and security were awesome! GSR is definitely the best casino and resort in Reno
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The carpeting in both the hallways and the room was worn. There was only one hot tub working and it was crowded so we weren’t able to use it.
- 3/5
Broken coffee machine. Portable refrigerator sitting in doorway of room.
- 4/5
We stayed for a volleyball tournament, it was nice to have a lot to do at the resort, so the kids liked it. The room was a little dusty but they did come pick up towels and make the beds every day. Bedding is very bare thin, they can definitely upgrade that. The downside was they knew they had 1000's coming in for a volleyball tournament where everyone has to be at the venue at the same time, so the lines for the Starbucks and the other quick grab were so crazy..,they were not prepared. Finally on the last morning they had a table in the lobby with additional quick breakfast items, but we didn't know and had to go. So they need to plan better for a bigger crowd in the mornings. The Business center was very helpful when my daughter needed to print out some schoolwork.
- 5/5
Overall great stay. Staff was very accommodating. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Great room.. only problem heat temperature didn’t work very good .. room chilly
- 5/5
The room was clean big TV big couch in the living room. The toilets are bidet and have seat warmers. The hotel resort overall is beautiful! There’s lots of food options everywhere and a lot of things to do there.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Good hotel and casino. Lots of food options in there. Ample parking. Room was spacious and clean. Helpful staff. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Room was clean and large. Shower door did not shut fully. Shower head less the great
- 4/5
Not helpful on a minor billing issue and checking was extremely slow.
- 4/5
WiFi was sporadic. Lost connection frequently.
- 2/5
Nice hotel, lots of amenities. DO NOT USE THE MOBILE CHECK IN. DO NOT USE THE SELF SERVICE KIOSK TO PICK UP YOUR CARD KEYS. I was looking forward to our stay. I booked a room with 2 queen beds in Nov 2025. GSR notified me via text to do a mobile check in the day before my arrival for my reservation for a room with 2 queen beds. The system was acting up and wouldn’t let me check in. I was finally able to check in 5 hours before arrival via mobile check in. There was construction in the parking lot so self parking was limited. Of course valet is open 24/7. At hotel registration, there are kiosks for mobile check in guests for card key pick up and payment for deposits. When I opened the door to my room, it was a king bed. I called the front desk and let them know it wasn’t what I booked and paid for. I asked to be moved to a room with 2 queen beds. The worker told me they’re sold out (it’s only 6:30pm), and the room I have is more expensive than a 2 queen room (NOT TRUE). But he could offer to put a roll away bed in my room for free. I stated I don’t understand how my reservation for 2 queen beds in Nov 2025 for Apr 2026 can be sold out, even when I was checking in via mobile check in, it still said my reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she repeated the same story on how they’re completely sold out. She threw in a $50 food and beverage credit + roll away bed. A few others had the same issue. I won’t stay at the GSR again.
- 2/5
While the room service lady was nice, our room received no cleaning service for 4 days.
- 5/5
Needs a bigger hot tub
- 5/5
There was something to do for all ages.
- 5/5
Very nice room and quite easy check in using the kiosk. The room was great and clean and the casino was top notch.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, updated, quiet and comfortable. The kids love this hotel. The ice skating rink and aracade were lots of fun, cant wait to do it again
- 5/5
Quiet stay for the most part. Bed and pillows were comfy too. House phone had no phone cord. We discovered that when we tried to call downstairs to get washcloths which were also not in our room. And our room had some debris in the bathroom. Used fake eye lashes and some plastic clothing tags in the bathroom floor by the toilet
- 4/5
Clean room. Hot tub
- 5/5
Yes , I love the rooms at this place . Clean and all amenities
- 4/5
Very clean room.
- 1/5
Our first room did not have a working AC. The repairman they sent said that the hotel has a known AC issue but the management isn’t doing anything about it. They moved us to a room that smelled like cigarette smoke even the hotel helper said he hopes the recent patrons were charged for that. They moved us to a 3rd room about 9 pm. This was way late as we have children whose bedtime is at 7:30. They said they would give us one night free. When we got to the counter to check out, they took off one night of resort fee because we booked through Expedia and they can’t do anything about taking off the actual room rate on our bill.
- 5/5
Room was very relaxing
- 1/5
Bad guest treatment.
- 5/5
Will definitely stay there again. Room, parking, pool area and staff were great.
- 4/5
All of the above
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
Smelled like cigarettes and developed mucus with blood within the two days I stayed there
- 3/5
everything was great, just a super surprise resort fee of 100 plus dollars per night, per room, when we arrived, t was like whoa. That was no where in the description (we stayed only one night) I will not be back again. 250 per room, plus 100 dollar resort fee, around 350 a night, is what the cost was. I had two rooms at around 700 for one night.
- 3/5
Our exhaust fan/light was not working. In addition, the shower head was leaking water which sprayed on the ceiling and floor of the bathroom. I did report the issue to front desk and they had maintenance respond.
- 3/5
There were TOO MANY KIDS everywhere, all over the casino, in the hallways, runing through the halls and elevators, in the food areas, and in the pool area. there were no adult areas in the pool and no adults want to be jumped and splashed on by kids.
- 3/5
Staff a solid 5 of 5. Shower had no water. Worst view ever ( blank wall). Otherwise ok
- 5/5
Everything was as it should be. They only made one change and that was to get a voucher if you want to use their shuttle to the airport from the front desk.
- 3/5
Room, staff
- 5/5
Nice hotel casino, clean rooms
- 2/5
Customer service at the hotel desk and cleanliness of rooms have gone downhill significantly.
- 5/5
Beautiful place, clean room, great staff!
- 2/5
the room is roomy and clean. Bad: It says mountain view but the view was mostly blocked by a wall. Charge a daily housekeeping fee but no housekeeping service. Supplies of body wash and shampoo not enough for a family, take forever to get refill. A few restaurants like Round Table, Port of Sub, Yogurt Land are not open during weekdays.
- 4/5
Lots of food options. Clean room. I like that you need a key to access the elevators. Lots of parking. Great for families.
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing!
- 4/5
Room was large, updated and clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Its always a good experience when we stay at the GSR
- 5/5
Didn’t love that the bartenders “block” or hold certain machines.
- 4/5
Stayed in the newer building which was nice. The rooms are nice and they have multiple food options.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean a good size for my family. Enjoyed the food, pool, kids play and casino. We will definitely revisit!
- 5/5
Great time
- 1/5
Room was dirty with stained benches. Shower is broken and will either only go extremely cold or extremely hot.
- 4/5
The staff were all excellent, from check in ,valet , bell staff to restaurant staff. Facilities were very clean. Restaurants were all excellent, even the room service was excellent. Overall I enjoyed my stay, will be back !
- 4/5
I was satisfied
- 5/5
Amazing views and amenities loved the staff!!!
- 5/5
Everything was great!! What a wonderful stay - even just for a night!!
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Room was nice. Clean. Water spots or something on one of the sofas but it looked clean. The upgraded me which was nice. I was surprised that there was trash by the 11th floor elevator when I arrived about 5pm and this huge pile of trash was there when I left at 8am. If not for the trash pile I would have given it 5 stars
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. Loved the size of the room. I would 100% stay there ahain. Great activities for families too. Great restaurants for a variety of options.
- 5/5
Clean spacious rooms , great customer service ! I would stay again
- 5/5
The room was clean and very comfortable!
- 5/5
Soft beds luxurious and clean !! The only thing good in Reno is GSR I was a little surprised the town is not a happening place to be so thank goodness this hotel has everything !!
- 5/5
Room was just short of perfect but the resort is great! A lot to do!
- 3/5
Unfortunately we had a room of unsupervised kids in the room next door. Hotel did their best but not much sleep. Room and una mas restaurant were both good. Resort fees are too high for folks who don’t use them.
- 5/5
Fun
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
The air quality was really bad. Everything else was fine.
- 1/5
Very thin walls. There is a $50 resort fee that is not disclosed. Vegas prices.
- 4/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Our rooms are always clean and well equipped. The staff during check-in (Breanna) was very courteous and efficient. We were exhausted after having been at a track meet all day and having trouble with self check-in. She helped quickly and with ease.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, lots of activities for kids too.
- 5/5
Excellent rooms
- 2/5
Hallways in hotel area were a common complaint with multiple guests due to the extreme coldness. Food at Second Street Cafe is definitely declining, obvious use of microwave for “hot” sandwiches. GSR definitely does not feel as welcoming and/or guest friendly as in the past. We will be staying elsewhere when we come to see shows at this location.
- 5/5
good staff. clean room.
- 4/5
Valet, Bellman and front desk were extremely nice. The (ADA) room was great!

Yes
- 5/5
Excellent amenities. Great restaurant selection. Lots of things to do.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 5/5
Everything was nice and comfortable.
- 4/5
Friendly housekeeping staff, not much interaction with hotel staff. Use of elevators is very secure. Instead of calling a hotel dept, just text the number provided-need housekeeping, text. Problem with other hotel guest on your floor-just text (yes, there was an incident on my floor. Next day maintenance was fixing and painting the suite doors)
- 5/5
Casino is nice with mostly good dealers, limits can be high on busy nights. Good restaurant selection. If you’re looking for something g a little classier and nicer than downtown, the family-friendly GSR is a good choice.
- 5/5
Not happy with no actual refrigerator though. That was a disappointment
- 4/5
Great check in service
- 1/5
Room unavailable and got placed in a different room.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed and good food!

Fantastic stay at Grand Sierra Resort! 🤩 From check-in to check-out, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Super clean 🧼, great atmosphere 🎉, and an all-around excellent experience. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- 5/5
Excellent service, very nice room, and easy check-in check-out.
- 3/5
Staff wasn’t very accommodating when locked out of room and my pregnant cousin had to sit on the floor
- 5/5
Espectacular
- 5/5
Great location and amenities. They offer service for room cleaning each day which is becoming a rarity with many hotels plus free water. Staff always nice and helpful. I definitely recommend.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Except security needs to remove the riff raff that comes in late at night. Pretty sure I saw a drug deal go down
- 5/5
The staff was truly amazing.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and spacious… my husband was very impressed with the bed… he slept like a baby he said. There’s so much to do and eat in the hotel
- 1/5
noisy
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Service was respectable and the casino is amazing with a of the things to do. Not to mention the front desk staff was helpful since we needed so many rooms and wanted them all on the same floor for the kids to have conjoined rooms. Thank you GSR.
- 4/5
Small beds bump my head twice with the wood frame , customer service friendly and professional the room okay and clean , very limited cleaning supply
- 4/5
Good stay, but I dont like having to use my room key to leave my floor.
- 3/5
The highways were closed so we stayed another night. Our room was on the 2nd level this time. We had a non smoking room since we have 3 kids but the room reeked of cigarettes. The staff must have known of the issue as there was an air purifier on high mode on the desk. The bedside ottomans were really dirty too.
- 3/5
Room was clean and seemed upgraded, but the reason for the low rating was how loud our room was, not because of people, but because of the door! It sounded like a wind tunnel with high and low pitch volumes. We couldn’t fall asleep until my husband figured out how to make it stop. He used a bath towel and lined the bottom of the door. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, she said it’s because we stayed on the 25th floor and only if multiple vents are open on this floor, the loud sound occurs. When I asked why they don’t fix the door, she said it’s because not enough guests complains about the loud noise, but they know it happens. If possible, avoid the higher floors or know to block the noise with a towel.
- 5/5
Nice room great deal !
- 3/5
Hotel was dirty. My kids found old pizza back of the drawer , chocolate kisses under the bed, and bed sheets and pillow wasn’t clean. Over all had a nice stay. Kid friendly hotel.
- 3/5
Our bathroom pipes under the sink busted and flooded part of our room. Very inconvenient at 3 am. I know this rarely happens but Grand Sierra needs to make sure they check old pipes and not happen with other rooms. They moved us to another room and they haven’t reached out to me about replacing my phone cord and makeup/bag/clothing ruined. Grand Sierra is a nice place to stay because they have a lot of food, bowling, activities so hope it doesn’t happen again to anyone else.

Automated check in didn’t work, said “room isn’t ready”

Staff are amazing.

Lots of fun activities for kids. Johnny rockets, the lady that works there is amazing! Was working alone due to staffing issues and she took care of 14 of us with efficiency and great consideration. Super impressed. Same with the VR area. One person seemed to run the whole place.

Room was big and roomy. But fridge was leaking and broken. Called everyday. They said they send someone to fix but never did. Heater/air con was also broken. Had to turn it off. Room was freezing. They brought extra blankets. Repair person came next day. But it broke again. Got tired of calling again and again for heater and fridge so just left fridge with the leaking water in front. Even sent front desk pic. No room service. So just left sign up do not disturb since they didn’t come even when I had it off. Told front desk. But again nothing done. Disappointed in the overall customer service this time around.

Everything was A+

Not going back! They rented us a room that was not supposed to be used and the only reason we found out because the shower did not work. We have the uncomfortable and inconvenience of the handy man fixing it. Then the next morning another handy man can and tried to open out door because he didn’t know it was fixed. He then came back again to bug us and we told him it was fixed. Our key stopped working from desk knew what room we were in with out us having to tell her only telling her our situation. Once we told her that we never mentioned our room number to her, her eyes lid up and she knew she messed up! She gave us $50 off some dinning. It was all big joke! All the staff knew not to rent that room it was a deluxe room.

Friendly front desk staff; upgraded room. The rooms are in great condition!

Thankfully, a front desk staff member named Kay stepped in and completely changed our experience. She was warm, patient, and incredibly efficient, and she helped us check in quickly without any stress. Her kindness instantly turned my anxiety into relief. Because of Kay, we were able to settle in comfortably, enjoy our stay, and create truly wonderful family memories in Reno. This trip became a special one for our family, and Kay played a big part in that. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely choose GSR again the next time we visit Reno. Thank you, Kay, for making such a positive difference!

However, I was extremely disappointed with the food at the Charlie Palmer Steakhouse. No one in our group of 12 liked or even finished their food. The wait staff service was atrocious. The parking situation needs to be addressed. The self parking is very limited to the point that you almost forced to use valet parking. Even with these few issues, I would stay there again because of all the activities and amenities.

Its been a few years since i have stayed at GSR, and it is no longer the plave i remember. Very long line to check in, even at kiosk. Website says there is handicapped parkin in front and on north side. There ISNT. The carpets look warn, especially in the hotel hallways, the music in the restaurants is way too loud, cigarette smoke can be smelled in casino area, and there were no washcloths in the bathroom. I was really disappointed. Not the classy place it used to be.
- 1/5
Took over an hour to wait in line for check in.
- 1/5
Smells like smoke and it took 45 minutes to check in.
- 3/5
I check early but they give me a room for half hour late. They said they txt me if the room is ready I saw all the guest coming they got they room rigth away..so I decided to go to the front desk again maybe if not talk to them again I-must wait for along time.and the restroom in the room have no exchaus Fan or is not working so if you take shower the moist every where.but the thing is my kids happy on their stay.

The accounting team messed up my charges. It took me 2 hours in total to sort it out. I also purchased the upsell package at check-in. It wasn’t transparent to me how much I was charged. The room was good.
- 5/5
Our room was beautiful! The staff was friendly and attentive
- 5/5
My room was excellent.I want that room back again when I come back
- 4/5
Check in is a mess. A very long line, not enough staff at the desk. They promote on line check in but it doesn’t work, I tried several times. My room was excellent, clean and quiet and very well equipped.
- 4/5
Room service was slow. And we didn’t have enough shampoo and body wash.
- 2/5
I just answered that.
- 2/5
We waited in check in line only to find out that our room, at 9:00 at night, wasn't ready! We booked a 2 queen room. We got moved to a king room and a roll away bed for my 19 year old son (not cool at all). Then, there was some kind of issue and we were changed again to a queen bed and a roll away. It took over an hour for the roll away to come to our room. That's considering that we didn't even get the room we booked.
- 4/5
I waited 25 minutes in line to pick up my keys only to discover that my Credit Card does not exactly match my name on photo ID (legal name first, last and middle name). None of my credit cards show my first middle and last name, yet I use them regularly without issue. Who ever set up the kiosk system needs to be fired. I was told by staff that I needed to get in line for the full service check in. The entire check in process took over an hour. This is completely unacceptable and I will think twice before I stay a GSR. I’m thinking about the hundreds of people that went through the same thing I did, and instead of spending that hour gambling or spending money they stood in line just to get a key. That had to amount to a serious loss in revenue for the result.
- 3/5
This was a disappointment on many levels. We knew there were charging stations, but they were full and gas gas powered cars taking up some of the spaces to the chargers. We wanted to speak with a valet but no one was there. Food in the casino area was mediocre at best and overpriced. The room was quite nice but the amenities were spartan. The shower never got above barely warm. And be careful!! The bathroom floor is very slippery when wet!! For party people who like a lot of noise and booze, this is the place for you! It was not the right fit for us.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
Long line with no available working option to check in at a kiosk
- 5/5
The property is very convenient. You don't have to go outside to buy food. Everything is there. Will stay again this hotel when we visit Reno.
- 3/5
The check-in kiosk was a pain in the a$$. My room wasn't ready until 4:15, even though you say that check-in is at 3pm. There were no coffee cups in my room, which made using the in-room coffee service impossible. Do you really think that's a good way to generate extra dollars at the cafe?
- 4/5
Ok
- 3/5
The room is spacious and the Bathroom and shower floors between the tiled are molded. Toilet flush isn’t working. Sink and faucet aren’t clean. Checking early is good but didn’t get any room ready notification until much later. The check out process app is confusing when ask me to pay again to check when it actually meant to check out and get my deposit back.

The stay was sub par
- 5/5
Staff courteous, needed security and they were prompt. Easy services. Plenty of food varieties and activities. Spa was superb.

check in went smoothly Clean rooms Drawback - I asked for roll away bed never came. Has to make sure it was deducted from our final folio.
- 3/5
high price resort fee that surprised us. Room service tips included in the bill, even though we were told that room service was requested by phone.
- 2/5
The window vent on the window kept blowing open due to the wind and it would not stay closed until we taped it down. There was mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom because the bathroom has no vents to vent the steam from the shower. The valet service was super slow and took us 25 mins to get our car almost every time we used the valet. There was garbage all over the place. It was by the front doors, in the hallways, in the elevators, and the only place it seemed there was no garbage was in the casino. The buffet was closed for most of our stay even though we were staying for the week of Christmas. So I don’t understand why the buffet isn’t open everyday during the holidays. At check out these conditions were brought up to the front desk and they told me that there was no record of us complaining about the issues we were having and they didn’t seem to care. It seems to me like all the Grand resort wants is your money to pay for their new facelift and construction they are going through. They don’t seem to want to take care of the people staying in this GRAND RESORT. In opinion you are better off getting an Airbnb or staying at the local holiday inn.

I cancelled within the cancellation period- could never speak to a live person- I was charged my full amount instead of one night- Horrible customer service!would not recommend to Anyone!
- 2/5
There were so many families on my floor (floor 20) that were having Christmas parties late into the night between multiple rooms while the parents were either in the casino or partying while they allowed young children to run around and it was just really loud all night. I also saw quite a few people waiting till someone with a room key got on an elevator, I feel like a security guard could be checking for hotel keys on those busy weekends. Also after booking I had a very rude front desk lady tell me on the phone I wouldn't be able to check in without showing my physical card, and after an hour realized I could check in on my phone with my card number. After a long day of traveling it was just not ideal. But I do normally have a great experience.

First of all, I got a text to do a check-In I did all of that and thinking getting keys was gonna be easier. No that when everything started going bad, system on the kiosk didn’t let me get the keys, waited for at least 20 minutes in line to be checked-in (when I did it in advance) anyway got checked-in got the keys went to the room. Oh my god! They give me a dirty room, beds were stripped and everything looked bad. Went back down to tell them about the room got in the line again. They said go to so and so window the supervisor can help me. Supervisor did not even apologized or offered any compliments for their mistake. She assigned a new room and ask, Do you think that room is clean and and ready? She is just like, “It should be”. The other room was supposed to be clean and it wasn’t. Anyway went in the room try to adjust the temperature in the room cause it was sooo hot in there. Thermostat didn’t work. Are you serious about this? We called front desk to sent some to help out adjusting temp in the room. After he worked on it, we waited but the room was still hot. Experience was terrible. I will never stay there again.

They are not taking care of the building. Major backed up plumbing led to several rooms including mine being flooded with water with fecal matter. When they switched me to another room, the ac didn’t work the rest of my stay.
