Reviews
The hotel generally received positive reviews for its cleanliness, friendly and polite staff, and good value for its location in London. The breakfast was also frequently praised. However, some guests had issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of their rooms, and a few found the service to be poor.

There was an employee named Blanca who was the highlight of our stay, as well as the two male front desk employees (I don’t remember their names), but they demonstrated the utmost professionalism and service ever! The staff is friendly, helpful and the premises were in pristine condition. Definitely staying here again!
- 2.5/5
The staff at the front desk are friendly and the room was clean with comfy bed and sheets. The biggest reason for negative review stars is that Marriott charged $120 for pet fee that I wasn’t expecting. No one charges that much. My bill for one night, arrival around 6:00 pm and check out the next day around 10:00 am was over $335.57. That’s ridiculous for a 16 hour stay, which isn’t even a full day! It doesn’t cost that much more to clean for a dog to stay. This experience has turned me off of Marriott even though I am already a Bonvoy member. Breakfast was terrible. Pancakes with blueberries and they were very soggy. Also, the egg frittatas seemed old and dry. This hotel needs a waffle machine.
- 4/5
This is a new property and the lobby area and parking garage are shiny and fresh. Our room, however, had a musty smell that they tried to cover up with a strong perfume or air freshener spray. I would say that this was the worst Element we have stayed at (compared to two others). It was fine but not amazing like the other ones.
- 2/5
This hotel is way over priced and lack of proper management. When we arrived at our room, by the door there was still a pile of garbage left by the previous owner. Inside the kitchen cabinet, the trash can was full as well. We had to call the housekeeping which was the front desk twice to have them removed. Yet the hotel has audacity to charge us $120 pet cleaning fee for just one night, which added to the bill and made it total $700, not mention the low quality breakfast choice. This is a shameless rip-off.

Our smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night.

The noise from the road was pretty loud

Love the rooms and the areas in the lobby and auto doors. Makes it easy to get the animals. And out. Don like the artificial pet grass area. Wish there was more real grass areas closer for late night potties

The only draw back is the hotel is located on a busy street so it can be loud in the evening.

Cleanest hotel in Reno, dog friendly, and no smoking. Will book again!

Very modern, room was very big and looked more like a small appartment, it had everything we expected and more.
- 5/5
Great hotel and we will stay again next time we go to reno. A high point was the amazing breakfast provided.
- 2/5
The room was very expensive and super tiny. They charged us over $100 for our small dog. We arrived around dinner time but the restaurant wasn’t open. The staff was nice enough and the postage stamp size room was clean but I wouldn’t ever stay here again. Over $400 for one night (with dog) was definitely a rip off.

Excellent customer service!! Accomodating to my 2 large breed dogs and family. Amenities were very nice; pool, bar, continental breakfast, gym. I will always stay here when I come to Reno. Thank you for having us!
- 1/5
Important Note: Pool & Hottub are closed! They have been closed since Nov and are under construction, with no sign of being opened soon. The main reason I booked here for our ski trip was to have a nice hottub like pictured in the photos. Otherwise the hotel was ok, not great. New construction, and mostly clean. There is no "pet free" room - all rooms are for pets, so if you have allergies, this is not a good choice. Lastly, the clientele was, for lack of a better word, sketchy. The sticker on the room door says use deadbolt and safety latch, and this is the first hotel in a long time that I felt like I needed to do that. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Good rooms, clean, water pressure could be improved.
- 5/5
Absolutely love everything about this hotel. They’ve thought of everything and everything is of quality. 10/10 experience for me.

EXCELLENT place to stay. I will be staying there again. Very clean, friendly staff, plenty of amenities. The room I got was like a little apartment. I had a desk to work and a terrific view.

Great amenities and the staff was fantastic!

I ABSOLUTELY loved the gluten free breakfast. Everyone was so welcoming, from the from desk to the maids. Give it a 10 for sure.

location was nice. Please upgrade the bacon quality. No point in serving that

Rooms on Virginia St don’t have double glazing, so noisy. They asked for $15/nt for parking, failing to say that the rear of parking structure is free to the public. And for 3 nights, I was charged $50, not $45!
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Very close to the airport. Nice location - seemed safe and nice restaurants close by. Close as well to downtown activities such as the Riverwalk and casinos. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Nice parking garage. Very good breakfast . Reno itself is not my thing but the trip was to Lake Tahoe and I needed a place for an early morning flight. I was pleasantly surprised since I didn’t know anything about Reno.
- 3.5/5
Comfortable bed and pillows. The overall appearance of the room is really nice. Shower head needed replacement. The shower experience was not good. I usually judge a hotel room by the shower. Plus the shower door leaked water all over the floor. There should have been a towel bar by the shower or even a hook.
- 5/5
Nice room which has microwave, refrigerator and stove. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean room with very nice ammenities and so spacious. Nice hotel with great desi
- 5/5
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well appointed.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean, quiet and a nice view of the mountains
- 1.5/5
The fresh breakfast was nice. I watched three homeless people walk in off the street and get cooked breakfast before walking off and they allowed dogs to jump up on the tables in the eating area and beg for food. There was no soap in the shower when I got in to take a shower. It was very loud by the street. My parents lock broke and wouldn't let them into their room until maintenance came and fixed it .
- 3.5/5
the room decor and layout was nice. real nice large tv's and good kitchen. The lobby decor was real nice too. all in all a very nice looking hotel. I picked your hotel because it is a pet friendly hotel. I would have been nice to know there is a 20 dollar daily charge and a 100 dollar cleaning charge. my all in bill was near 400 bucks for 1 night. I put this low on the value scale. I wouldn't come back for that reason alone. also I would expect a more robust restaurant. the restaurant staff was great however.
- 5/5
It’s a fabulous experience for our first stay at Reno. The suit is very convenient for family with 2 kids. Breakfast is served with good quality, fresh food every morning. We will definitely come what.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was amazing. From the front desk to the facilities staff It’s perfect
- 4.5/5
Breakfasts were awesome in taste, presentation & super nice chef. Some low buzzing sound coming through the air ducts.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was much higher quality (both food and ambience) than most other hotel included breakfasts. Fitness facility and lobby area were both well above average. Parking charges! In an area that is not particularly congested, this is just a punitive fee.
- 5/5
Always a great stay. Just the roadside rooms are terrible. But all other rooms are great.
- 4/5
Room is clean.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I really liked staying at this hotel. It was very convenient for dining and shopping. The hotel was very clean, and the service was very attentive. My whole family enjoyed staying here. If we visit again, we will book a room here.
- 5/5
The room is comfy and clean, it has a great gym and it’s breakfast is pretty good. The location is amazing as well. None.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Clean room and quiet.
- 5/5
Spotless and clean! Great staff
- 5/5
Excellent, so clean, so easy and pet friendly! Great breakfast in the morning as well. Will absolutely stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing really appreciate the hospitality and how easy check in and check out was. Great staff.
- 5/5
the staff was great room was clean .. loved the breakfast!!!! nothing it was great
- 5/5
DISAPPOINTED POOL WAS CLOSED. STAFF GOT U S THE COURTROOM SIDE ROOMS ( WE HAD 3 ROOMS) WHICH ARE QUIETER - HAD STAYED ON ROAD SIDE LAST TIME WAY TO LOUD ALL STAFF WAS AMAZING
- 4/5
Apart from that our stay was very enjoyable.
- 5/5
Location, professional staff, beautiful entry and super clean!! Nothing.
- 5/5
I loved the breakfast!
- 5/5
This place had a GREAT breakfast buffet. Both my daughter and I have celiac that most of the time we can’t eat anything. This hotel (first time seeing this done) had a gf area with certified hi bagels. I was so happy. Then the next am the guy remembered me and made me a gf bagel sandwich. Never had that great experience before.
- 4/5
Highly recommended
- 3/5
Check-in staff were great. When we first got to the room, the bedding was disheveled and there were makeup or dirt marks all over the top of it. The rest of the visit there was good.
- 1/5
Food (breakfast) made my 2 daughters sick the whole day until the next day!!!! It was the avocado toast!!!!
- 4.5/5
The pool was closed.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean ! But the windows are so thin the street noise will wake you up. I would love to stay here again just please make your windows sound proof
- 1/5
Over booking wasn’t there
- 3/5
Property was decent. Very nice lobby with lounge and plenty of seating. Staff was great. Room was clean and newer. The big issue was that my room faced a very busy street and the car noise at night was unbearable. I am a pretty heavy sleeper and still was woken by the noise.
- 4/5
Great location. Clean and helpful staff.
- 5/5
We didn’t like that there was limited hotel parking and that we incurred a $15 a day parking fee. Breakfast was tasty and complimentary! We did find it strange that most housekeeping staff did not understand English. We asked for a few items and at least 4 different employees could not comprehend what we were asking for ie: a garbage bag, glasses for the room, towels, and a bathroom scale to weigh our luggage. Usually there is a scale in every fitness center of every hotel we’ve ever stayed in. But not here. Perhaps they could put one in.
- 5/5
Great place. Very modern.
- 5/5
Great location! Clean, beautiful rooms. Pool was fantastic. Huge Hot tub!
- 4/5
New
- 5/5
nice modern. Parking for check in way too small. sidewalks narrow. staff great, breakfast nice. room clean. loaner bikes are junk.
- 5/5
Overall clean and convenient, though noise level can get high our room was right atop a busy street.
- 4/5
Huge Cinemark theater across the way. Peppermill is just up the road. Black Bear Diner across the street. Even Atlantis is walkable. Good clean area. Love their king beds. Almost as comfy as home! Shower is awesome. Convenient to have fridge/sink/microwave too. Lighting in bathroom still sucks & first time on Virginia Street side. Noisy but not terrible. Not a fan of the chain drawstring window blind but it’s doable. Overall we will continue to stay here! Oh, and the buffet breakfast is ALWAYS delicious!! (Wish parking was included).
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Good place
- 1/5
Room that was booked was not available on arrival at 3pm.staff made us wait till 6pm.
- 1/5
The staff was terrible and the surrounding area was so loud that neither I or my kids good sleep.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean facility, great amenities, great location.
- 5/5
Great staff especially lady during check-in was excellent.
- 2/5
It’s like being on pit row during a NASCAR. Terrible. Noisy.
- 4/5
Four stars based on the price point. Clean, great staff, hotel is visually appealing, some flaws in functionality and quality though. Blinds broke, no fan in bathroom, had to have TV fixed, breakfast was great one day not great another, furniture uncomfortable. Overall would stay again even with flaws.
- 5/5
My kids and I absolutely loved this hotel! It was clean and very family friendly. The breakfast was great, only downside was the watered down juice. We had a blast in the pool which has lifts in both the pool and hot tub which are amazing if you have a disabled family member. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice. Clean, modern and great amenities. The breakfast was not the usual continental spread, they offered hot, cook to order items, very good. My only complaint- my room was facing the street- traffic was very loud. Need better insulation
- 4/5
Shower floor very slippery. Breakfast was excellent.
- 4/5
It’s a very good property. It looks either new or remodeled recently. Great breakfast! Room is not very big, but it’s big enough. Close to movie theater and grocery shopping if needed. Good for families because it’s a suite. Only downside is that sometimes the road traffic is noisy at night.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff
- 5/5
Very clean and fresh. Beautiful rooms. Comfy bed.
- 5/5
nice layout , peyotes friendly , Great breakfast and friendly knowledgeable Staff . Would absolutely stay there again.
- 4/5
The hotel is new and beautiful, but as with most newer things, there are some kinks. For example, the breakfast area was too small to accommodate all the guests, there was confusion about where lines were, and the overflow of people ended up in the bar area and all over the lobby. The bar area is where we ate and had not been cleaned from the night before. The espresso machine was also unreliable. It was broken, but no one put an out of order sign on it, they kept promising to fix it, but never did. We were also traveling with dogs, and the hotel states “As part of our Love that Dog program, we’ll provide our signature dog bed, food, water bowls, and clean-up supplies during your stay.” The hotel charges a nonrefundable fee of $250 for your dog. We had to ask for the dog bed, which our dogs absolutely loved!!! But nothing else was provided except bags at the dog area. Outdoor pool was not stocked with towels. Also had to request those. I’m going to assume these things are all links due to being newer. We did really enjoy the hotel despite these things and would stay here again. I’m willing to give them more chances in the future and will say the bed was comfortable. Beautiful rooms.

If you do want to stay away from Casino Hotels in Reno, this is the place to go.
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
Easy to supercharge the Tesla in their parking ramp
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and always willing to accommodate any special requests. The included breakfast is amazing with good hours. Our family enjoys the cozy bar and small plates at night. I have stayed here several times and each one has been positive. I recommend often to friends/family.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay here. Our pet also enjoyed the stay.
- 5/5
Great location, great breakfast ( they have crepes!), clean, close to shops, casinos. Has covered parking- $15/night. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
New years "staycation" everything about this place was smooth and enjoyable.
- 3/5
We had issues with hot water during shower for two nights. Had to switch to another room. The front desk apologized to us but nothing beyond that.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. It was a perfect very dog friendly hotel. The hotel was very clean and had nice modern decor. The surrounding property was nicely landscaped, well lit at night and felt very safe. The only disappointment was that the bar hours are listed as open until 10pm Friday and Saturday and on the Friday night we stayed the bar was closed by 9:15pm without much of an explanation from the front desk as to why this listed amenity was not available as advertised.
- 5/5
This was our last stop on our vacation and loved everything about this hotel. It had parking, was pet friendly, the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again for sure!
- 5/5
New, spacious and clean hotel not too far from downtown. Convenient parking with EV chargers. Hot breakfast was very nice. Staff was also very friendly. I’d stay again the next time I go through Reno.
- 5/5
Top notch property for adults and pets. Great breakfast as well.
- 5/5
I liked my stay overall. A great stay.
- 5/5
Great location, we walked to Reno public market and Peppermill. New building, bbq area, swimming pool, big outdoor hot tub, kitchen area w microwave and fridge, great amenities like on site bar and wonderful breakfast
- 4/5
I purchased the suite and was surprised how small it was. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included so not that great. The coffee was terrible. Banana muffins were good. I had the feeling the hotel was designed by someone who has never stayed at a hotel. All the boxes were checked but some attention to detail would have gone a long way.
- 5/5
Nice, new hotel. Parking and breakfast were great. Enjoyed the bar, too 👍
- 5/5
This is my go to place on my routine trips to Reno!
- 3/5
When we arrived at check in time of 3 PM our room was not ready until 5PM. While we watched other guests being checked in. This was unacceptable! This definitely affected our stay there as we missed our dinner reservation with family that we were visiting there. The room faced a major road and the noise was horrible. We chose this hotel because of the Element experience we have had at other locations were amazing, unfortunately not this time.
- 1/5
This room was cancelled as we were traveling. I received an email indicating local wildfires necessitated the cancellation.
- 5/5
Love my stay everytime I take a vacation but this time there was loud music our whole stay and the issue wasn’t even fixed. It was playing music until 1am we couldn’t even sleep.
- 4/5
disappointed that our stay (3days) was during the recent fire order to evacuate. while other Reno hotels offered discount rates for locals, the Element charged full (rather high) room rates.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Really nice hotel close to the airport.
- 4/5
Nice service, very quiet, very clean nice pool and nice neighborhood
- 2/5
Traffic Noise from the street all night. Very cheap windows that can't stop any sound. I can hear people taking outside the building.
- 5/5
Thank you for this experience. Steve C
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms , staff was nice, and it’s right next door to Black Bear Dinner! Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
I highly recommend the Element.
- 5/5
The place is really cool! Staff was super friendly at check in and the bar area. Beds comfy and the breakfast was awesome!
- 3/5
The hotel is really nice, reflective of the positive user ratings. The rooms are really beautiful, the pools were nice. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. However what really soured our experience was that they overbooked rooms, and didn't have the multiple rooms that we booked. We were a group of 10 and could only give us enough for 8. To make the situation worse (though not the hotel's fault), the room next to us had a really loud CPAP machine, and another guest had a dog that won't stop barking. Just one of those times I guess where it's all bad luck.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and the breakfast was phenomenal. The 2nd floor had a bad smell to it and the shower was very slippery. Other than that, the facilities were excellent and the service was excellent!
- 5/5
I love how clean this place is. They also have so many amenities available.
- 5/5
Our stay was great however they didn’t come in our room to change towels, make bed or pick up garbage for over 5 days.
- 5/5
Everything’s was fantastic
- 5/5
Really nice staff. Room was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
The hotel had very kind, professional and helpful staff. I was very pleased with the free breakfast options the hotel offered as well as the parking accommodations. Hotel was dog friendly yet did not smell like dogs were present, no odor whatsoever. Our room was spacious and my only complaint is I could not figure out the ac to get it on. I called front desk and they were able to change the setting on their end. After that situation was fixed I am completely satisfied.
- 5/5
Great property for a quick trip. Not much to the rooms, sort of dorm like feel, but the lobby and bar are great!
- 4/5
Wish they had bar hours open longer
- 5/5
The hotel closes in certain time at night and guests needs to use their card key to get in. That’s the best part that I love. Safety. We asked for a late check out at 1pm. We were in a hurry going back to the hotel because we still need to take our stuff, and the friendly front desk staff offered us more time so we can take our time taking our stuffs. Very clean rooms and everywhere in the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely stay again whenever we are in Reno.
- 5/5
Accommodations were great. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, located in a great area, overall great experience.
- 5/5
Best night sleep in a hotel ever. Loved that the pool and hot tub were private. Also our room seemed to be sound proof. Loved it.
- 5/5
I also liked that theres a Sprouts across the way and a huge real grass area for my dog.
- 4/5
Easy access from the airport and the staff were very helpful. Reno Public Market is close by and a fun place to get food and drinks.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
i was so impressed by how clean everything was. I also loved that there wasnt any weird smells either. It was super dog friendly too! we could eat the breakfast in the bar area with the pup which was super helpful. WE LOVED OUR STAY! Please stay clean and feeling like new!!! Oh and i loved the big grassy area for the pup as well! the fake grass area stink’s especially when its hot.
- 5/5
There was intermittent drag racing throughout the night, which woke us up a little bit!
- 5/5
Felt like home, will return
- 4/5
Walkable to Peppermill and Atlantis. Great outdoor area. Cinemark close by. Rooftop pool and long hours. F&B allowed at pool (yay!).
- 5/5
Great location and clean site
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful here!
- 5/5
Very nice and comfortable for a family of 4 stay. Thank you guys for the hospitality :)
- 5/5
Nice front desk staff. I moved my stuff up to my room, parked my car and grabbed some choc chip cookies from the amenities store. 👍
- 5/5
Nice seemingly up and coming neighborhood
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The room was large, comfortable and everything worked. It was also very clean. The breakfast was nice with a server for the French toast. I felt very comfortable here
- 2/5
Shower shelf was located on shower floor. Appeared never been installed. Shower floors was very slick. Safety concern.
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect..we don’t usually travel with pets so this was a first..The staff was wonderful, room was spotless clean and service was excellent!!
- 5/5
My flight was delayed and I had to drive 12 hours through thunderstorms and high winds and closed highways finally arrived here and the bar was open and they had prosciutto flatbread, fresh French toast and berries for breakfast comfortable and hot showers. What more could you ask for. Love the property.
- 5/5
Me and my family went out to Reno. We were very happy and very satisfied with this hotel hotel was very clean and great customer service.
- 5/5
The property was clean and everything as advertised
- 5/5
We went to Reno for a car show at the Convention center and everything was great. Minus the noises on the Main Street at night with cars going by but that has nothing to do with the hotel they can’t control that. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Staff was amazing. Very nice. The pool area was beautiful and great to hang out with our group that stayed there too. The bar was nice too, the bar food was amazing especially the flat breads. The breakfast had plenty of options for a quick grab to tie you over til lunch, but go early, we went around 730 and there was so much food left. Don’t expect like a buffet cuz it’s not. There’s cereal, oatmeal bar muffins bagels. And they had French toast bacon and eggs. The coffee was fabulous. If we go back to Reno which is in the plans we will stay again
- 5/5
Very clean! Great pool, hot tub area and comfortable room!
- 5/5
👍
