The hotel is cute, older but clean, room had lot of towels. All I seen was lots of trash at by the trash bins more than likely left late at night by the occupants. I felt safe and place was clean. Single lady traveling solo. Would stay here again.

After leaving the hotel, we began noticing unexpected charges being added to our account with little to no explanation. When we contacted the front desk for clarification, the staff member (Esther) we spoke with was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were accused of violating hotel policies, which was completely untrue. Despite our attempts to address the situation, we felt unfairly blamed and were not treated with respect. Instead we were told “Just dispute the charges”. Between the bugs in the room, unexplained charges, false accusations, and poor customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I expected a clean room and professional treatment, but unfortunately, Edgewater Inn failed to provide either. I would not recommend staying here and would encourage future guests to carefully inspect their rooms and review their bills after checkout.

I was amazingly surprised with how clean and nice my room was. The staff were all friendly and helpful. For the price I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. If I'm ever in need of a room nearby again I will be booking here.

We come twice a year for family gatherings and have stayed here for many years. We are always greeted with a smile and check in is a breeze. The rooms are clean and basic, nothing fancy but comfortable. It is a large property with ample parking.

Walked into the room, and felt I was home. Nice aesthetic appeal, the couches, the desk... The shower curtain had the bowed out extensions for a spacious shower. Big fridge. Friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast. Outdoor pool. Nice patio tables outside to relax in (not at pool). They really worked hard to make this place a home away from home. Thank you!

On the positive side, the staff was genuinely excellent. They were friendly and went above and beyond by calling me to let me know I’d left some things behind. That kind of service really stands out. The room itself was fine for a night’s sleep—a decent place to rest your head—but the basics felt pretty outdated. The TV had a blurry picture with visible lines, which made watching anything frustrating. Overall it’s an okay spot if you just need somewhere clean and safe to crash, but don’t expect modern amenities or the advertised breakfast. Would stay again only if I needed something last-minute and cheap, but I’d lower my expectations on the extras.

What a treat to find such a great property tucked into a spot next to the beautiful Kings River. The inn is extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet. Rooms are large - beds are comfortable - and the staff is so accommodating. We had a relaxing stay and will definitely return.

Everything was very clean, and the room was very nice. The only thing was that it had a flaw: the bathroom shower wasn't working.

Room was clean and looked to have been recently updated but was incomplete. The cover plates on the light switches were broken, the curtains could use a wash, and with the close access to tree fresh fruit and fresh local breakfast breads, I found the breakfast to be lacking. But the location was quiet and close to downtown.

Breakfast isn't anything spectacular, but it does what it's supposed to do. And March is citrus season in the valley. So, there were fresh, juicy, wonderful oranges and mandarins. I have yet to use the pool or hot tub when I visit. But they seem well cared for and there are plenty of people enjoying them. I have stayed 6 or 7 times now... and I like it... A LOT.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we are satisfied and glad to have a place to stay when we come to visit family in Parlier. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Checking in and out is easy breezy. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. I didn't know they had one on our first visit. The only complaint that we have was that the floor was excessively dirty. We know this because the bottom of our feet were black from walking barefoot. Also, we couldn't figure out how to turn the tub into a shower setting. Found out the next day when we were checking out that "there is a trick to it". Also, it would be nice if there was a shower caddy to put your toiletries on while you shower.

The room was very clean. Staff was very nice. I appreciated that the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. Bed was very comfortable and the memory foam pillows were great. Breakfast was minimal: packaged muffins and breakfast pastries, dry cereal and instant oatmeal and bread for toast with margarine and jam packets. It's on the river and has a pool, but a mid-December chilly visit wasn't the time to enjoy them. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the price is right. Rooms facing the main highway can be noisy but double pane windows and air conditioner minimize it.

She did a very good job of cleaning the room, but I sure wish another cleaning product was used. IMHO, the smell of Fabiosa cleaner is overwhelming and nauseating. Having a big bottle of it in plain sight in the eating area was also off-putting. Again, the staff works hard, not meaning to knock their efforts.

Much better than expected! Check in clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and smelled good when we walked in. Nice quiet location near the river. My only con was the bed was a little firm for my liking. Would certainly stay here again.

Quiet safe hotel. Very clean, water was hot, beds were comfortable enough. They had real pillows! Very early continental breakfast so you can get an early start on hiking in the parks, the entrance to Kings Canyon is a little over an hour away. Reedley had a cute walking downtown with restaurants.

The hotel was in a beautiful location next to the river, the room was confortable, i enjoyed the stay. The key cards though had to be reprogrammed a couple times, we had to return to the office to get them reinstated.

Spacious room and conveniently located. Staff less than friendly. An employee from the reception desk almost invaded my room because they made a mistake and thought I had not booked for an extra day and therefore should have checked out hours ago. The reality is that I had made a reservation and checked in for an extra day.

Air conditioning didnt work rite. And the card keys didnt work had to leave the door open. Front desk was kinda rude. Would not stay again !!

This is a perfectly fine motel and the staff clearly worked hard to keep things clean. My room was under the stairs and, while it had a window, it still felt like I was in a cave. There are no lamps. The overhead lighting is very harsh with no dimmers. Very basic.

I booked online and once I got there to check in they said all the rooms were booked and I still got charged from it, and the employees weren’t very helpful.

I was sceptical just being unfamiliar with the area but had to stay in town for a sports tournament. Everything was fresh, from the wall paint to headboards/bedding to lobby and parking lot and pool. You can tell they take pride in their service/standard. Even the landscaping was emaculate. Our room was comfortable and you couldn't hear any neighbors even though most the rooms had been rented out. Super happy, especially for the price and being centrally located.

I stayed here because it was within a decent distance to Sequoia National Park. I had the king room which was nice and large and absolutely clean. You could see that the room was newly renovated. Came with a large mini fridge including freezer section and a microwave and coffee maker. The swimming pool was clean and nice, however the spa was not working.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful. The couple issues we had were resolved quickly. Despite the facilities being a bit dated everything was clean and comfortable. A good value for the money.

The team seems to appreciate the business. The price is right and this hotel is where I need it to be. I like this place.

Had to get smoking room bc my mom can’t climb the stairs (shes98yrs old) the smoking room was only room available. Smell was horrible. The toilet was clogged. The shower head was broken. Definitely not a good night.

The lady that was in the office was very friendly and I upgraded to the honeymoon room since it was our anniversary. She even gave me names of good restaurants in the town of Reedley, CA.

It was very easy and convenient to check in and out, also the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the carpet in the room, I think it’s definitely time for a carpet cleaning. I give EdgeWater Inn a 4/5.

The key cards take a bit of work to register at the door, but after a key switch out with the friendly front desk, that problem was resolved. Standard clean room and clean beds. My kids enjoyed there. Noise level by other patrons at night were a bit loud, but wasn’t for a long while. The property itself was nice and close to a lot of shopping area. Great stay for visiting family . Heat was nice throughout the night. Overall was all that we needed. Recommend again to anyone visiting Reedley!

I make a reservation on this particular location , because of the jacuzzi, pool. Checking in , front desk mentioned jacuzzi was out of service , and pool was not being clean. I told her I was on a business trip , been disappointed, but out of time to look for another location , I have to stay. Didn’t spent the nite, again I was looking forward after several hours of a stressing assignment to relax in the jacuzzi, which we know was not working. When I call earlier this morning to get some sore of discount, Esther the manager answer me incredibly rude. No need to mistreat customers with such rudest attitude .

Second time here and second time the key reader on the door was very difficult to get to read the key card.

The staff did a great job keeping the room cleaned and stocked. They were very accommodating and I liked the location.

The room was clean and cozy. We were able to get good rest and enjoy the tv. We also appreciated the extra blanket on the bed. The 2 things that we questioned were how to turn on the shower and why the refrigerator and microwave were in the restroom. Also, we would suggest having the number to the front desk present in case of questions. Other than that, it was a great stay.

It’s an okay place unless you have a room next to the road, which we did.

Overall really clean and comfortable. The only thing was I paid for one king size bed and the gave me two queen beds. Didn’t like that. But I like that is clean

The room was clean, everything was great.

Overall I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Edgewater.

We wanted to use the pool and hot tub and were told either to hop the fence or pick the lock. Our room was right next to the laundry room and was very noisy from late at night to early morning. Room key cards didn’t work so we took them to office to be replaced. Replacement keys didn’t work either.

Am easy and convenient place to stay.

I praise the house keepers. I think they did a very good job keeping the room clean. However, the 2-3 staff I encountered were not too friendly.

This motel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that there were blocky foam pillows rather than proper pillows. Other than that I was very pleased. The room was spacious and clean, things looked impressively updated from a stay I remember here several years ago. The shower was good, and the place was surprisingly quiet. I even used the pool which was nice. Their breakfast offering is spare and lackluster, but I knew this in advance so made other plans for breakfasts. This motel is literally a two minute drive from Reedley College. Edgewater Inn is a nice and well-cared-for property and I will definitely stay here again.
