Staff was nice, air conditioning worked and wasn’t loud. The parking was convenient and felt safe

The maid noticed the water drained very slowly and backed up into the shower pan. Marginal sewer line.problem. Told management to pull the toilet.and inspect the sewer line.

It’s close to all the little shopping malls here close to the hospital

Very hospitable and friendly staff. We got a unit with a broken LCD screen. It was only noticeable once you turn the tv on. We informed the front desk about it and they immediately checked and replaced it. Kudos to their prompt response and great service!

Check in office was spotless. Smelled good staff at desk. Very kind. Very nice… Parking lot immaculate not a piece of anything laying around in the parking lot spotlessly clean rooms very clean very clean. Very spotless… One thing I will say is a lot of the plugs did not work. They need to check the plugs and get them working better

Good stay overall, the only complaint was that the wall plug-ins next to the bed were worn and my cpap kept disconnecting from ok m the wall plug-in. Would advise bringing a 3 pronged power strip.

Check in and parking was easy. We asked for extra pillows but never got them. The window opened, which is a plus for fresh air (it was in March) and the road noise did quiet down at night. Water took a long time to get hot but it did. Fridge and microwave but no coffee in the room, and no breakfast at all. Thin towels. Bottom sheet did not reach the foot of the King bed. Top cover was nice. Small shower stall with soap and shampoo provided.

The location was very good with all transportation means within reach. The room lacked basic utilities like coffee making machine, iron box, coffee/tea cups.

Very basic motel room. Reasonably clean. Thin walls, located on high traffic roadway, no coffee in the room or lobby.

NOTHING WENT WELL! The room was terrible! As soon as we opened the door we were hit with an overwhelming odor of Clorox. We opened all the windows to air it out but none of the windows had screens on them so we closed them to avoid having a room full of insects. We slept with the odor through the night. The bathroom walls were peeling paint from everywhere due to a huge past roof leak. We stayed only one of the two nights we paid for...it was that bad!!! When we were leaving, a large man fell from the stairs next to our room, we personally told the manager to come and assist, she said she would... but never did. I helped the man to his feet and to his car. I went upstairs and brought down his luggage and personal effects and sent him on his way. Still no manager, no 911 call, no nothing! No coffer maker either! Really? We proceeded to leave as fast as we could to get to the Stanford Hospital to receive a procedure I had scheduled for the day. I am a 68 year old man, who has worked in construction all my life and this is what I thought of the accommodations. There is not enough room in a 100 page notebook that could hold the summation of my wife's criticism of our stay at this Motel. My thoughts...stir clear!

Multiple lights did not work. One towel was dirty. Staff were not very welcoming. Over priced.

The housekeepers were super nice. Everyone pleasant.

The lady that cleans the rooms does a great job. The bed was hard to sleep on, even the pillows. The bracket for the screen TV was broken. There are very limited parking spaces, and there are more rooms than parking spaces. The staff at the front desk are all rude.

Very large room. Even had two separated rooms with a devided wall. Beds where so so. Tv needs to be larger. It was hard to see so far away . It’s fairly clean , beds a fairly comfortable. Good food around the area. The front dest staff have been helpful and friendly. Just have to use stair if your room are upstairs. You can tell they are in the process of making it much better

The room was in really bad shape with patches on the ceiling and the walls everywhere that were unpainted and a lot of them painted with the wrong color paint. The room was very clean outside of needing a lot of work on cosmetics.

The staff are friendly and efficient to get me checked in and out. Easy to park. Walking distance to Target and other shops. I stay here when I have procedures done at Stanford Medical. Clean. Simple. Safe. Convenient.

The hotel was filthy. Some of the lights in the room were nonfunctional and the bathroom and bed sheets were not clean. The parking lot was insecure and we were vandalized. We will never stay at this location again.

The room I got decimated was in really poor condition. Rust on the mini fridge/lights on the bathroom was rusted/lots of scratches on ceiling and and lots of repairs that never got painted on the ceiling and room. I don’t recommend to no one in the condition it was.

My paycheck was delayed and when I asked to wait I will make a reservation they didn’t cooperate and kicked me out I am single mom a domestic violence survivor and my payments were delayed from the county and instead of cooperating the lady who is a manager she kicked me out also she treats her staff with rude and disrespect! They have staff hired from kids and pay nothing I also stayed for 7 days their tv didn’t work I kept requesting to fix it but no response and they are charging too much right now I am staying motel 6 and it’s for 72 a night it has two bed and a tv that works and what a great management!!! Shame on you budget inn

2 day stay, first day had no hot water in the morning to shower. 2nd after I checked out I had a need to stay one more day, requested a lower level room to accommodate a medical need, (person was not to climb stairs post surgery), they were unable to accommodate the request. We requested a a couple extra pillows, to support the person in medical need, was told yes but they never returned with them, when I tried to reach out to the check-in counter there was no one available, had to make due by rolling up the blanket for support. Room was noisy, but expected since it faced the main street. reservation for 2 adults but only had one chair to sit.

Downside rundown, shabby. Things missing. Patch jobs for repair, unprofessional. Toilet had to hand manipulated every other flush. Remote had to be replaced. No clean towels or trash emptied when requested until following day.

I was a guest at the Budget Inn for a little over a year and the staff was great I had no problems with room or the staff. Once in a while whoever was in the room above could be a problem and the staff would handle it. Overall I had a pleasant experience at the Budget Inn in Redwood City

The bed was good, the shower was hot and the woman managing the property was very helpful. It's not flash but if you have a problem the manager will do her very best to help you. There are a number of food outlets in easy walking distance.

I decided against paying the early check in fee and instead used the money on something to eat at a restaurant across the street while waiting for check-in time. It was an unpleasant experience since I have stayed at several other hotel/motels in Redwood City where I have been able to, not only check-in early many times, but also never been asked to pay an early check-in fee. That, along with another negative experience, made it a not-so-pleasant stay.

The only issue was the toilet paper dispenser had come off the wall and so the paper was on top it the toilet. This is really a maintenance issue and didn’t cause me any problems.

The room was clean but the beds were terrible, the mattress was of very poor quality. The bed was more like a big cot than a real bed. The hot water took forever to reach temperature out of the faucet and shower. Nothing like wasting water waiting for the water to get hot in a drought condition.

Hotel is dirty, old, and run down. Guests were loud, seemed like there was a block party every night. Office personnel was extremely unprofessional. Never again will I stay there.

Good things: good water pressure in shower, but had to turn it off half way to let it drain a little. Refrigerator worked, but ice pack not all the way frozen. Glad I saw no roaches. Toilet worked.

Great, especially for the price. Wi-FI very reliable.

Propeety was ok alot of shady people around

No frills room. Was clean but not luxurious in anyway. We just need a room for two nights close to our event

Staff very helpful. Nice table area and huge walk-in closet for the size of room. Nice size refrigerator but have to make sure the light switch by the door is on or the refrigerator is not on and freezer defrosts. Learned the hard way. Rooms need a bit of an upgrade. No bathtub stopper and bathtub looked like it needed a new glaze on it. Needed a good painting. No outlets by the bed to plug in tech. But was kept clean and bed made everyday with clean sheets and towels in the bathroom.

Great place to stay when you need something close to everything but within a budget! Owners are very nice people, responsive and courteous. This is our second time staying with them and we will book with them on any future visits to Stanford area.

The room was ok. It had some damage to the walls which should have been repaired before use. Customer service really sucks, those people at the front desk is in the wrong line of work. Plenty of parking. You can hear the people upstairs walking around. Great water pressure and temperature.

No Continental breakfast or even coffee was avaliable as advertised. Very disappointed with that. Hot water took 10 minutes to reach our room. Such a waste on water. The room was clean though.

Everything was clean and neat, and the bed was comfortable. The only disappointment was that we were supposed to be given a complimentary breakfast the next morning. The sign in the lobby said that breakfast starts at 7:00 am. We were there at 7:00 and waited 15 minutes, and no one showed up, and the lobby was locked.

All good.

I didn’t like the people at the front desk they are rude

The room was clean and you could tell the maids do a great job. The setup of the room was poor. No uesable electrical outlet except for bathroom countertop. Also, no free continental breakfast was available despite it being advertised. The manager seemed indifferent to my suggestion of rearranging room to make electrical outlets accessible.

This motel needs work, cracked and dirty tiles in the bathroom, floors are always filthy, and there's an unpleasant odor when you first enter the room. There's a lot of food deliveries, yet the people don't come out of their rooms...is this a covid quarantine place? If so, that should be advertised.
